This is like so cute!!! I can already see this!
Tumblr media
I was thinking “Why does Malleus hide his tail?”
And then I couldn’t help but think, “Silver bit it, didn’t he?” 😆😂
Just imagine, Silver is playing with his toys and he gets hungry or maybe he’s even teething. He sees this swirling, pretty, shiny thing.
He’s mesmerized and he grabs it.
Malleus doesn’t do anything. After all, it’s not the first time Silver grabbed his tail before…that is until he feels something clamp down on his tail.
It takes everything in him not to thrash his tail against the floor to dislodge whatever bit him.
He turns around and right there is Silver, hugging his tail and knawing at him like he’s a chew toy.
The great prince of briar valley reduced to this.
When Lilia returns, he laughs at Malleus’ predicament and has to dodge lightning bolts. For all his pouting, Malleus never separated Silver from his tail.

Soap sometimes throws stolen glances at Ghost. He swears he’s being subtle, but what he doesn’t know is that Ghost notices, and he loves every single second of it. To the point where Ghost has found himself doing random, stupid shit to get Soap’s attention.

To expand on the ‘Wes doesn’t speak English’ thingy, I think whenever the other survivors tell him to do something he just looks at them like :D until he gets a more visual explanation of what they’re asking him to do

Maul and Obi-Wans cycle of abuse is something so special to me
I’d like to go further down this rabbit hole one day but for now all I will say is this:
Maul was fueled by rage and anger his entire life. Groomed by Palpatine and mauled(pun 100% intended)by Obi-Wan left him broken and a shell of the boy he once was with only anger boiling beneath his war torn skin.
Obi-Wan did what he had to in self defense and we all know Maul would have done the same. He went through so much in the comics as well as the TV shows and needed the aid of magical forces to heal his mind. He may have been mentally ill due to his traumatic life but in isolation he was genuinely broken
(to be clear: mentally ill people are not broken and neither are disabled people. I’m disabled, I’m not broken. But what I’m trying to explain is the fact that Maul wasn’t broken until his isolation. he very well could have stayed his silly goofy mentally ill self but was broken in a way people cannot return from and unnatural forces had to be used to bring him back to reality)
He died in Obi-Wans arms, content for the first and last time in his life knowing that Luke Skywalker would end the cycle of abuse he and Obi-Wan had been stuck in. Hatred and anger and bitterness fueled by actions out of their control. Luke would end what Maul had once fought for. Knowing this, Maul died peacefully in his enemies arms.
Obi-Wan held a funeral for Maul, and he was the only person there. He was all Maul had left. He protected Luke for all the people he fought for, the Jedi, innocent people, Anakin.
But despite everything, he also held Maul to the same standards as he did for his fellow fallen Jedi since Maul was just another one of the victims of the Sith.
I like to think that Maul and Obi-Wan met again as force-ghosts as well as in whatever afterlife their is outside of appearing to the living. I think they would be happy to see one another, perhaps Maul had watched from afar as Luke grew. This of course would rely on the idea that dead people, ghosts or not, could watch over the living which is all but confirmed. That’s more speculation than anything, but I like to imagine it.
I like to imagine Obi-Wan and Maul reunion met with a violently tight hug and tears. After everything, after the blood and torment and abuse, Luke had ended it all and they could finally be together in peace.
Can you tell Mauls my favorite

Poly ortegaverse thought but the three sorta 'pouncing' Enid collectively or one after the other with intent at either collective seduction or as part of the ongoing "I am better for her" angle. Only to realize that as Enid has the stamina of a super werewolf she ends up exhausting all of them and they may actually need each other. Enid would actually be totally fine stopping when her partner does but if they want to keep knocking at her door in lingerie she isn't going to protest either.
ortegaverse if it was crack

Headcanon that Rodney, and anyone else willing to put in the legwork, develop an OS for their Atlantis system that has all the bells and whistles of their wishlists and it ends up looking kind of snazzy
Some random person on Reddit like hey I found this really obscure Linux distro called “Atlantis”……anyone else using this one?

I have always had the headcanon that Andy is highly intelligent but dumbs himself down to not get too much responsibility. After the series ends Andy is just hanging out with the red clan and helps them deal with punks that want revenge on them one day. The leader is not a strain but has been evading the normal police force that the case was forced onto Sceptor 4 under the guise of 'possible strain with intelligence ability'. So Andy decides this is a chance to be done with this case. The punk and his band of misfits are a little too smart for homura to deal with and Andy comes up with all sort of counter actions that make the reds question Andy's intelligence. In the end Munakata thanks Andy for his hard work and Andy fearful of being handed more responsibility quickly says that Kusunagi made all of the plans. Munakata goes along with it but knows Kusanagi didn't make those strategies.
I can absolutely see Doumyouji as the kid who learned they don’t ask you to do the dishes anymore if you keep breaking them XD Imagine this is one of the reasons he’s so awed by Munakata, because he’s aware that Munakata saw through him from the start and that’s why Munakata has no trouble putting him in a squad leader position and later the special forces. Doumyouji keeps up the act anyway though, because drawing his reports is easier than writing them and when Fushimi demands he come and fix them Doumyouji can play dumb and get Hidaka to fix them instead. He actually really enjoys this, Doumyouji mostly likes having fun and fighting and as long as he plays the airhead he doesn’t have to be bogged down by responsibility and paperwork.
He’s also on good terms with Homra post-ROK and occasionally stops by the bar to chat. They all decide to go out for ramen and that’s when Homra gets attacked by this group of punks out for revenge. Doumyouji recognizes the leader right away, this is a high-level possible Strain situation that S4 has been assigned and hasn’t had the resources to handle at the moment. Maybe it was intended to go straight to Fushimi due to how intelligent the gang leader is and Fushimi’s been too busy to devote any time to a case he believes doesn’t actually involve a Strain. Doumyouji agrees with that assessment and figures in that case wouldn’t it be easiest to assist Homra in taking these guys down now and then S4 will only have to deal with the clean up.
The Homra guys are skeptical when Doumyouji says he has a plan but then just imagine him coming up with all these great counter-measures, being super intuitive and good at assessing the situation. In the end they take the bad guys down and the Homra guys are really impressed by how smart Doumyouji was. Doumyouji’s enjoying the praise until Munakata shows up in the aftermath all intrigued by how skillfully this was handled, truly someone with strong insight must have been in charge as this is normally not Homra’s strong suit. Doumyouji immediately has a quiet freak out as he insists it was Kusanagi, totally Kusanagi, he gave some suggestions but didn’t do anything important really. Munakata smiles and says is that so, Doumyouji quietly whimpers that can we at least not let Fushimi-san know about this.

Just finished binging Inside Job season 2 and like, WOW, this was ALL good but also? That ending?? Hehehehehe, look look, hear me out.
Ron was a conspiracy theorist in college. Then he got a job at the Illuminati. That mind that can connect the dots and dig for information didn’t go away with his erased memories.
And he had just been hypnotically suggested to miss someone he wouldn’t remember. He’s going to notice something off. He might even go searching.
Hehehehe, Reagan~. You went a little off script there, buddy.
I wonder if Inside Job will actually do something along those lines with Ron. That would be fun.

Miss Lulu headcanon of the day: She's trained in basic self-defense in case she needs to protect herself and can't rely on her Pokémon, but hates fighting because she doesn't want to get dirty
Anabel has two separate work phones: one for Battle Frontier, and one for Interpol work. When she's not using one, she'll turn it off to make sure she's not letting her jobs interfere with each other.

Songbird + Magnum, PI?
Angel by the Wings by SIA - hmmm. Oooo...this could be a fantasy AU that I had no idea I wanted until this moment, highly influenced by the latest season of Vox Machina, and these specific lines:
Just take an angel by the wings Beg her now for anything Beg her now for one more day Take an angel by the wings Time to tell her everything Ask her for the strength to stay
Fantasy world where gods and angels walk amongst us - and while Thomas and the guys are prisoners, Rick makes a deal with goddess for them to live. The trade off is that she is the goddess of life and death, and that means balance. For the guys to stay alive, Rick has to agree to maintain the balance - by taking the lives of others that the goddess chooses. He fails the first time (or refuses, thinking he can get out of it, or some other variation of not doing it), which is how Nuzo winds up getting killed. Rick is now acting as a reaper, and instead of a scythe, has his sniper rifle, and is trying not to let the guys find out the high cost of their survival (and maybe he keeps making deals with the goddess, because Thomas does seem in a hurry to die sometimes).

writing advice for characters with a missing eye: dear God does losing an eyes function fuck up your neck. Ever since mine crapped out I've been slowly and unconsciously shifting towards holding my head at an angle to put the good eye closer to the center. and human necks. are not meant to accommodate that sorta thing.
