Iamus was made of love.  So Dan knows that there’s heroes that have gone back in time, he’s aware of that fact. But he doesn’t exactly care and has more important things to worry about. Like the fact that Danny and Ellie are now three years old, right when he’s moving, though maybe that’s a blessing in disguise seeing as the GIW are searching for them in Amity. 

  But still, he has more important things to worry about than the speedster vibrating five feet away from him. Like making sure Ellie and Danny are alright to visit (ugh) Peepaw Clocky while he goes to work. 

  Ms. Mercy is not messing around, which he appreciates in a workspace, but he has to wait for another opening in the daycare before he can bring his, as far as everyone else is aware, siblings who he got emergency custody of. 

  What with how Jazz is interning in Gotham, they figured Metropolis would be safer. Now if the speedster would stop following him, he would really appreciate it. yes, the jerry jr was turned into the axeman because of the witchwood, which does what it does because of the lords, but everything leading up to that is just human nature. i see the "girl jeri is nibbly" or "they were influenced by a lord to do the thngs they do" and i need people to understand that that's just. not true. they're just like that. they were taught to be like that by their parents and, more accurately, their church. it's horrifyingly accurate how religion has shaped them into non-functional human beings, who would rather potentially lose their child to the many, many dangers of the literal woods than admit that they had sex outside of marriage.

it's only because it's hatchetfield that jerry jr grew the way he did. there was no lord's intervention in their decision to keep the baby, or to drop out of school to care for him, or to keep him seperated from any other people, or to revolve their lives around the idea that they'd committed a sin and needed to pay by pushing celibacy rather than. i don't know. properly raising their child. it was the way they were taught. the toxic pushing of overexaggerated christian ideals is what molded them. can you imagine being in their place? being a scared teenager and knowing that if you told any of the people you care about most your secret that they would shun you and disown you?

the only people they felt any kind of safe around were each other; of course they're going to be codependent. and even then, they're disgusted by each other for leading them to sin. they're stuck together unwillingly, because without the other, they're alone.

Silverstein's fear of death and water is very interesting to me. This man is down right paranoid, heavily altering his life to avoid these fears. He avoids the docks like a plague and any time he has to go on a ship is awful and he will be stressed out of his mind, potentially hiding below deck the whole trip (which I need to point out is really uncharacteristic of him, he’s usually the first to help and take the brunt of physical labour). Death anxiety is in much smaller moments and habits, yes he avoids awfully dangerous pursuits but he also carries around a horse head amulet 24/7 even though he has no idea if it’d work.

But, could you blame him?

When something so prevalent (that occupies whole portions of town, people's livelihoods, that others interact with with no issue) could kill you, instantly, with no remorse? When others treat death so flippantly, self-assured that it'd never last, but you could never be so sure? Knowing that you're different, in a way they wouldn't understand? There's no record of someone like you coming back from death but of course there isn't, who would record something like that, who would care?

cats !! i have a cat, shes great ! id pet a stray cat if they looked calm enpufh and in a mood to be touched .. alll other animals thouth ? not really !! i have a huge fear of getting bit by an animal and then getting rabies and BOOM dying !! and all mammals carrt rabies !! i went to sicily once and went out fot a walk at night and i saw a bat (far fron me in the sky) and i ran back home so fast that i almost tripped three times, i would notbe able to live in lijr any place in like amrrica or asia because if i saw a lizard or a weird fucking insrct ??? id leave immedialy i woukdnt get any sleep !! i see videos where therws just like bears around in the forest and people go on thosr fuking forests ?? and its common to go there ?? with fucking bears ??? i cant do that .. thats not me ... i wpukdnt even go NEAR a country where bears are a possibility ... im a pussy .. if i see a tiny mouse i get scared that they will bite me and i will die .. i cannot do it .. i have a fear of insects i cant even be in th3 samr ROOM wi5h a fly, mosquito, ladybird, moth or ANY flyong insect because i am too scared and my hesrt is beating si fast im 10 seconds away from gettimg a hesrt attack !!!! i have never seen a roach but from what ive seen online if i did see a roach id call the hospital immedeiately because i will have so much stress in thar one moment that im probbaly going into shock and my hestt will stop due to the high bpood pressure inside me .. we have those fucking crane flies here i am SO TERRIFIED OF THEM !! the thing about megumi is that. he's just a kid. he's been pretending to be an adult since he was five and he's fooled a lot of people. he drinks black coffee, he reads nonfiction books, he doesn't get involved with the others' antics, he pretends he doesn't care. he emulates the adults he's known - detaches himself like his father, places himself in the background like his step-mother, takes on the responsibility of protection like gojo - but he's not an adult. he's fifteen. he's scared, and he's miserable, and he keeps losing everyone he's cared about. tsumiki was cursed, itadori was sentenced to death, gojo was sealed, tsumiki was possessed, and of course everything inside of him shattered. he's been masquerading as someone years older than he is for his entire life, until he snapped in half, because he is a child. and he craves love just as much as anyone else, even if he's been made to believe he should be stronger than that. he's fifteen years old. he should be doing algebra homework and standing in tsumiki's bedroom doorway just to be an annoying little sibling and fighting with gojo over stupid things like curfew times or wanting a pet and instead, he threw himself headfirst into a sorcerer death match and lost everything including himself and he was using all the energy he had left in a last-ditch effort to protect his friends because he loves them and he loves and he loves and he loves and sukuna knew he could take advantage of that because if you look at megumi beneath the surface for even a moment, it's so obvious that he's just a kid who loves too much for his own good. he tries to hide it because he knows it will only hurt in the end, but he's fifteen and he never figured out how to truly erase his ability to care for others and when he's broken down to his bare essentials, when everything is gone but the shattered remains of his soul, what remains is a fifteen year old kid who just wants to be loved
