Czech Schatten (explained for people who haven't seen Czech Elisabeth fully)
With the concert recording of Schatten I reposted gaining some traction a while ago, I felt like I needed to make this post because if you haven't seen this production in it's full iteration, I feel like you can't truly appreciate just how genius this staging is within it's full context. I'll separate this post into a few sections, so it's a bit more coherent
Content warning: the following post contains mentions of drug use
The characterizations of Smrt and Rudolf
I oftentimes like to call this production "what Schonbrunn Elisabeth could have been if the creative team weren't afraid of trying out new approaches" and I think the nuanced portrayal of Der Tod in this production is one of the most telling of that. The Tod of this production, Smrt, is unlike any other Tod I've ever seen.
A big difference between the Der Tod most of us are familiar with and Smrt is while Tod takes souls with kisses, Smrt kills merely on touch. And while written out, it might sound like a gimmick that will just hinder the actor during a performance by limiting his range of interactions, I feel like it did the exact opposite and only helped to flesh out Smrt as a character. Sure, some of us might not be a fan of Der Tod being portrayed as a physical supernatural entity, but this way, Smrt ended up a complex self-contradicting being, who despite not being a human had all the human capacity for feeling and who was consequently full of angst due to this, since there was no way for him to properly fulfill his deepest desires for human connection. Anything he touches gets destroyed, yet he must put on a front of indifference.
The characterization of Rudolf was also unlike any production before. I think what played a major part in that was the entire company and creative team doing extensive historical research into everything surrounding the show's characters and time period, so both of the show's Rudolves indeed felt more historical than all other Rudolves I've seen. I can't really put it into words, but there was just this feeling like the way they acted could have happened in the historical time period.
The Rudolf and Smrt relationship dynamic
A unique take on this relationship was that these two felt more like companions brought together by circumstance rather than a physiological pull. When they first meet, both Smrt and Rudolf are full of angst and yearning for a genuine human connection, which draws them together. Both of them have been abandoned by Elisabeth and they find solace in one another. Yet, despite this, despite them equally being fascinated and drawn towards the other, there's also this underlying fear and unsureness they both have.
Also, an important addition: in general, this production, from an outside perspective, very much favors an asexual reading on the source material, especially when it comes to the approach to Elisabeth herself and Smrt as well. The type of outward attraction Smrt shows for both Elisabeth and Rudolf is in no way outwardly sexual, but it's driven by the yearning for a companion, for being understood and for romantic attraction to some degree, but the most prominent is just the simple need for someone who just understands.
Rastlose Jahre
Another very creative choice this production did was making Rastlose Jahre a sort of foreword to Schatten. The two scenes flowed seamlessly into one another and by Rudolf getting included in the scene, we as viewers got more insight into him.
One touching idea the scene had was the way it showed the progression of time (since this single scene spans 18 years). The scene was staged with Franz sitting at his table downstage right and Elisabeth flitting around the stage in the back, followed by a giant entourage of ladies in waiting. During the first verse, little Rudolf appeared downstage left and tried waving at his mom, trying to catch her attention, but after she ignored him, he looked hopelessly into the audience and ran back into the wings. And a few moments later, adult Rudolf ran out in the same manner, showing just how quickly the time went by.
Adult Rudolf tries to catch his mother's attention and she still ignores him. He looks out into the audience again before he suddenly takes off his jacket, rolls up his sleeve, ties a tourniquet above his elbow and pulling out a syringe from his pocket, he injects the contents into his arm with pained gasps before throwing the syringe away. This is a reference to Rudolf IRL actually taking morphine as a drug and this staging cleverly incorporated the historical detail into the transition into Schatten. Rudolf ashamedly rolls his sleeve back down and puts his jacket back on. He tries calling out for his mother, but she once again ignores him (Michaela's Sisi didn't notice him at all, while Soňa's Sisi did notice him, but decided to run away rather than console and help him).
What happens during Schatten?
The lyric translation stays very close to the original, while adding some interesting spins to some sections (like Smrt saying that he promised to Rudolf to always be his guardian angel and that he will gladly stand by Rudolf's side).
Rudolf stumbles around the stage, still calling out for his mother, as the drugs take effect and Smrt appears at the back of the stage, holding a whip in his hand and cracking it. The hydraulic platform Smrt is standing on gets raised and a stucco decoration resembling a rearing horse can be seen to the side, making a hint at a carriage.
Rudolf is at first afraid of Smrt arriving, but by the first chorus, he gladly climbs up onto the carriage and lets Smrt lead the ride. But, after a while, he begs Smrt to slow down or stop the carriage and jumps back down.
Smrt sees Rudolf being dejected about how powerless he is when it comes to the political situation and making use of the whip, Smrt lifts Rudolf's chin up with it. But, to Smrt's surprise, Rudolf snatches the whip from Smrt's grasp and runs to the carriage, taking control of the ride himself. Smrt jumps up after him, seeing how Rudolf visibly can't manage the chaos of the situation.
Meanwhile, Rudolf is just trying to get a hand of having control over the carriage while evidently being delighted over actually having control over something for the first time in his life. Smrt tries reasoning with him and offers Rudolf a gun with the words "You can defend yourself".
Rudolf takes the gun, almost sobering at Smrt's words, while Smrt takes his whip back. Rudolf approaches the audience as the Death angels crowd around him and he raises up the gun to his head as he and Smrt sing the lyrics "We are only guests in this world, one must remember that". Rudolf looks almost ready to pull the trigger, but realizes what he was about to do and tears the gun away from his head at the last minute.
Smrt looks at him with a longing look of "I wish I could help you escape the pain now and spare you of any other suffering" before he exits. Rudolf looks after Smrt, both horrified over what he was about to do, but also somewhat contemplating following after him, before he turns back to the audience with tears in his eyes and once again clutching his arm over the spot where he injected the drug. He is left completely alone on the now empty stage, helplessly looking into the audience for any sort of hope he could find.
#elisabeth das musical#djkt elisabeth#der tod#I am so glad I could see this staging 4 times#at first I didn't really know what to think of the way this scene is staged#but you know what? once I started delving deeper into it I just loved it more#I especially loved the shared mutual pull to/fear of the other that was very evident in both Rudolf and Smrt#it was ANGSTY

We’re on a world tour (like beyonces renaissance tour) and it’s opening night in London. Charles being with Arthur Pierre and kika and their reaction + them being in the pit. Also, Charles and our oldest daughter coming out to dance on stage like how blue Ivy did with bey. And the grids’ reactions + other celebrities being there for opening night!!!😅❤️
What happened to “hello”? “How are you?” “My name is”? I’m kidding. ANYWAY, sorry it took me so long so I really hope you liked it and I am so sorry if you didn’t. Since you said “oldest daughter”, Charles and Y/N have 3 kids.
World Tour
Pairing: Charles Leclerc x Singer! Reader
Summary: Y/N starts her world tour in London and kicks off the tour with a huge surprise
Warning: spelling and grammatical errors
A/N: mix of social media and written fic, because of the ages of the kids, we could make it so charles and Y/N got married at 18 and started their family at 19 so charles is still 26, OR married at 21, family at 22 so he’s 29, completely up to you. So this could take place in 2027 or 2024, it doesn’t matter. Also, her performance photos/video outfits are not consistent, sadly.
Y/N was backstage doing her makeup when her daughter, Juliana, who everyone calls ‘Jules’, walks in with a hairbrush in her hand
“Mami, Can you brush my hair?” Jules asked. Y/N turned to her and smiled.
“Sure, baby. How many knots are in your hair?” Y/N asked, taking the brush from Juliana’s hand
“A lot, I can’t get them out.” Jules said. Y/N got a detangling spray from her vanity to spray in her daughter’s hair.
“It should be easier to get it out now. You excited to dance with me, princesa?” Y/N asked.
“I’m nervous. What if I mess up the routine to ‘Arranca’ and I get booed?” Jules asked. Y/N spun her around so they were facing each other.
“Mi amor, you won’t get booed. Besides, you are 7 years old, no one expects you to be perfect. And guess what, you are still going to sing a song with me.” Y/N said.
“Can we sing ‘como la flor’, mami?” Jules asked and Y/N smiled.
“Any song you want, baby.” Y/N said and kissed her forehead.
Charles was sitting with his 4 year old son, Santiago, who’s nickname is “Santi”, his brother Arthur, Pierre, and Kika.
“Where’s sissy?” Santi asked.
“She’s with your maman, mon coeur.” Charles replied.
“I can’t believe you brought him to the concert, Charles.” Arthur said.
“It would be unfair to leave him in the hotel room with Dot’s (Dorothea) nanny while Jules gets to be here with us.” Charles said.
“I think it’s cute that Charles brought Santi.” Kika said. “How old is Dot now by the way?”
“She is 8 months old now.” Charles said and Kika cooed.
“You took him to the bathroom, right?” Pierre asked,
“Of course I did, I’m not an idiot, mate.” Charles said.
“Why is Jules with Y/N?” Arthur asked.
“I Don’t know, Jules asked if she could go backstage with Y/N and Y/N said she was okay with it.” Charles said.
“Yeah, she had the right idea, do you see how packed it is?” Kika asked. Charles stood up, holding Santi’s hand the entire time.
“Yeah, my Y/N has a lot of fans from all over the world.” Charles commented the lights turned off and the crowd started screaming, Charles saw Santi put his hands over his ears so he got out Santi’s headphones from his backpack and put them on him, carrying him so he will be able to see his mom.
Y/N came out on stage with her first performance outfit.
“Ah, she looks so good!” Kika fangirled.
“Yeah, she does.” Charles smiled fondly.
“How we doing tonight, London?” Y/N asked the crowd and they cheered. “Wow, I can’t believe I’m starting my world tour here. It seems insane to me but it’s also the same weekend as the British Grand Prix so of course it makes sense to start here.” The crowd cheered, clearly having an overlap of F1 fans and Y/N fans. “If you have been a fan of mine for years and have been to my concerts before, hi, it’s so nice to have you come back. If you’re a long term fan but haven’t been to my concert, I am so glad that you are finally able to come. Lastly, if you’re a new fan or your sibling, bestie, partner, child, or even parent dragged you here tonight, welcome! You are going to have a fun time, I promise.” Y/N said and the soundboard person started the instrumental track of her song ‘Fulanito’
“If y’all know this song, sing along, mis amores!” Y/N said. “Que manera, como él consigue de mí lo que quería, quedé partía desde la primera, haciendo lo que no hace cualquiera, y no sale tan bien…” Y/N started singing. Her backup dancers joined her on stage for the performance and they finished that song. There was a ton of applause. “All right, before we start this next song, I’m pretty sure everyone knows I’m married.” Y/N said, putting her hand up to show off the ring Charles bought her once he started making good money in Formula 1 and the crowd cheered. “We have a little family, 3 children to be exact, and my daughter’s dream is to be a performer like me. So everyone clap your hands together for my daughter, Juliana!”
“Sissy!” Santi said, perking his head up.
“Yeah, It’s You’re sister, Santi.” Charles said, they all clapped and Charles saw Jules walk on stage and hugged her mom before standing next to one of the dancers before the music of ‘Arranca’ started playing, Jules was following the dance exactly and she looked like she was having a great time. Charles took out his phone to record his little girl dancing with his wife, when the song ended, Jules hugged Y/N and Y/N squatted down to give Jules’s a kiss on her forehead.
“Give it up for my daughter, everyone! Before my baby goes, she wanted to sing a song with me so I gotta do it.” Y/N sat down on the edge of the stage, Jules following her and the soundboard guy started playing the music of “como la flor” by Selena Quintanilla. Charles took photos of that too.
The concert ended an hour and a half later.
“Hey guys, thank you for coming with me.” Charles told Pierre and Kika, carrying Santi who is sleeping.
“No problem, we had a fun time.” Pierre said.
“Yes! Please ask Y/N if she’ll let me borrow the outfit she wore when she sung Sin Pijama, it’s so cute.” Kika said. Charles laughed.
“Sure Kika, I’ll ask her.” Charles said. Pierre and Kika left and Charles walked with Arthur backstage. When they entered, they saw Jules practicing her dance.
“Papi!” Jules said, hugging Charles. “Did you like my dance? I practiced with Daniela (dancer).”
“You were amazing, sweetie, but call me papa.” Charles said. Jules let go,
“I like papi better.” Jules said before hugging Arthur. “Tio, you liked how I sung?”
“You did really well, and it’s oncle.” Arthur said.
“Fine, oncle.” Jules said and she sat down on the couch. Y/N came out in short and a hoodie.
“Muñeco, Arturito, is Santi sleeping?” Y/N asked.
“Yeah, He’s a little tired, but he was dancing to most of your set, you were amazing out there, Mon coeur.” Charles said, kissing her.
“Yes, you were great, didn’t know you were such a great dancer.” Arthur said.
“Yeah, i took classes when I was younger. Let’s go back to the hotel so we could Santi in bed.” Y/N said, rubbing Santi’s back.
“Yeah, Let’s go.” Charles said.
They go to their hotel, Arthur goes to a different room, charles Charles enters their shared hotel room to get Santi ready for bed while Y/N went to the nanny’s hotel room to get Dot. When Y/N enters their hotel room, Jules and Santi are in their pajamas, he’s sleeping and she’s brushing her teeth.
“Mami, Can we go to iHop tomorrow?” Jules asked.
“Do we have time for breakfast before going to your race?” Y/N asked Charles while putting Dot in her portable crib.
“Yeah we have time, we justa have to wake up early.” Charles said.
“I’m okay with that.” Jules said, she got into bed and fell asleep.
“Thank you for coming to my concert tonight.” Y/N said.
“Yeah, Pierre and Kika loved it, she loved your last outfit by the way, she wants to borrow it by the way.” Charles said, changing into his pajamas
“Yeah, she can borrow it after the tour.” Y/N said
“I am so proud of you, you know. We’re both in a really good place in our careers” Charles said.
“Thank you, i love you.” Y/N said.
“I love you too.” Charles said, kissing Y/N.

TADC x Robotic Jester! Reader (Part 3)
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4
Continuation of the previous parts :D, I literally forgot one character that is Kaufmo. Even though he's not in the pilot, the poor guy deserves love! I know this is a short chapter but Kaufmo kinda deserves one tbh. Too many Jax x readers around lol.
ft. Kaufmo
Warning : slight angst
There's nothing much to do around the circus as of late, Caine had been busy with his work/project and the others are doing their own things or minding their own business.
You're in Gangle's room and watch her draw characters from anime, even though she couldn't remember much about the characters or how they used to look like. Every time she draws, she feels that she is getting the characters so right!
"Look, here (Y/o/n)!" Gangle smiles as she holds up her finished drawing of an animal with a large red hat.
"A raccoon?" you questioned tilting your head to the side. "No, silly! It's a reindeer! A doctor too!" Gangle said. "Hehehe~ I'm just messing with ya, Ribbons!" you said.
"Hey, look what I've drawn!" you said. Holding up a badly drawn of yourself with Gangle with the word 'Weeb Besties' on top with hearts all over. Gangle gasps and takes the paper from you, "I'm going to pin it on my wall!" she said, hugging the drawing. She walks over to her board and pins it on the large board filled with all kinds of arts she had done.
"(Y/o/n), let's play mario—" before Gangle could finish, both of you were teleported to the stage.
Turns out, there were new people on the stage.
Kaufmo
A clown?! Gasps! A stage buddy! Yippe :D
Kaufmo, a name that was given to the newcomer by Caine. At first, the poor guy was in a panic mess, well who wouldn't when you enter a whole different dimension in an instant.
"What—wh—where am I?! Why can't I get this thing off?????!!!" Kaufmo shrieks as he begin pulling on his face, Jax snorts "Try pulling harder, maybe you could rip—" you instantly slaps your hand on the rabbits's mouth to shut him up.
LICK— "Waa! Eew! Gross!" you cringe when Jax licks your palm as the purple rabbit gives you a smug grin.
Caine had taken Kaufmo on an instant tour around the place.
The clown didn't take it too well.
The guy was in a nervous wreck and running around the tent to find an escape from the digital realm.
"Exit! Where's the exit!" he shrieked. Jax on the other hand kinda had enough with his screaming and left, leaving you and the others.
"Alright, let's calm down and take a deep breath" Ragatha said as she walked over to Kaufmo to calm him down.
Due to Ragatha's expertise at calming people, Kaufmo finally calms down.
Everyone introduced themselves to the clown and it was your turn, "Hello, there Kaufmo! My name is (Y/o/n) the robotic jester! Hey, wanna hear a joke?" you said with a grin.
Somehow both of you became partners in the circus!
You and Kaufmo would do tricks together and tell jokes to each other, even Kaufmo's jokes weren't the best ( most of his jokes were consists of dad jokes btw ). Being a good partner, you help him improve!
Like Kinger, Kaufmo sees you as a good friend. Like you do with Gangle, you protect him from Jax's pranks and mockeries.
But even when you try to get his mind off the exit, it won't stop him or change his mind. Kaufmo were glad that you wanted to help him but....
He really wants to go home.....
"(Y/o/n)....I'm thankful that you want to help me but...I miss home and...my family. I know they are waiting for me" Kaufmo said. with a deep frown on his face. You stare into his black beady eyes as you rub your arm and look away.
"Don't you miss yours, (Y/o/n)?" your eyes widen slightly at Kaufmo's question, "I wish I could be like you, ya know....Like don't worry about anything at all? All of your feelings are so genuine unlike the others, like you belong in this place....." Kaufmo said, fiddling with his gloves.
"Well, I— uh" you were cut off by a voice.
"Now, what's with all of these frowning I see?" a voice echoes, both of you look up to see the moon looking down at the two of you.
"Oh, w-we were just talking...." you said, rubbing the back of your neck "I-I I think I want to go back to my room, see you tomorrow I guess..." you said as you speed your way back to your room. On your way, you see Jax walking by and he sees you. He folds his arms behind him and extends his leg once you got close.
He trips you as you fall on the ground, but you were too deep in your thoughts to even bother about Jax tripping you.
A question mark appears on Jax's head as he watches you enter your designated room, slamming the door shut. Jax's grin left his lips, he never sees you acting like that before and it kinda bothers him to see you like that.
"Pft....they'll get over it" he snorts as he walks away but he still couldn't shake off the feelings.
Once you're in your room, you lock the door and lean on the wooden door before sliding down and sit on the floor. You cover your face with your hands and cry.....
Now that Kaufmo said it, "I u-understand how it felt...." you mumbled to yourself. Yes, you also miss your family.
Especially your beloved uncle, you couldn't remember what he look like anymore and every time you want to remember, it was all a blur in your mind.....
He was the only family you had left.....
You'd hope that he's doing alright....
You look up at a drawn picture of yourself (avatar form) and a man with a question mark on his face, both of you are holding hands.
There is a word written, "Greatest Uncle in the world".
"I...I miss you" you sobbed, rubbing away your tears.

|Beyond the tears ~ Bang Chan|
paring: Chan x Y/N
genre: angst with happy ending
word count: 4048
Warnings: self harm, hate, suicide, bullying, blackmail, 18+
——————————
——————————
You entered the training room with your heart beating like crazy. You were a trainee at JYP Entertainment, one of the largest music labels in South Korea. This place, which was supposed to be your gateway to fulfilling your dreams, became your nightmare. You joined a band that was supposed to debut with a 4-piece lineup, but JYP said they needed someone from abroad. Your fellow members did not hide their dislike for you. Your debut was just around the corner and the pressure on you was almost palpable.
The only ray of light in this dark period was Chan. You knew him from Australia, where you grew up together. Now, as a member of a popular band, he had his problems, but he always found time to support you. He was your soulmate, and maybe even more, but you were glad you had him by your side when everyone else turned their backs on you. His words of support were like balm for your wounded soul.
The stage was lit with spotlights and the crowd of fans went wild, waiting for the next performance. It was supposed to be one of the last pre-debut shows before the grand finale. Your heart was racing and your hands were shaking as you stood backstage, trying to calm your breathing. Today was supposed to be a special day, but instead it felt like a storm was brewing.
Your moment has finally come. You stepped onto the stage, trying to focus on the lyrics of the song and the moves you had practiced. Everything was going well until your voice suddenly cracked. The audience froze and you felt as if the whole world stopped. However, you immediately managed to correct your mistake and finish the song without making a single mistake. Still, you left the stage with a heavy heart.
The cold reality was waiting for you backstage. The manager was furious, and the band members did not hide their disapproval. Words of criticism fell on you like hail.
"How could you mess up like that?", "It was a disaster!", "You let us all down!" Even the record company left no stone unturned on you. You felt like the whole world had turned against you.
But the worst came later, when you saw the comments under your fancam. The Internet was merciless.
"No talent", "She's not suitable for this industry", "She ruined the whole performance". Every word was like a blow to the heart. You couldn't believe that people could be so cruel because of just one small mistake.
You were sitting in your room, trying to control your tears, when you heard a soft knock on the door. It was Chan. He appeared like a knight on a white horse, bringing with him a ray of hope in this dark time. He sat down next to you on the bed and you instantly felt all your worries melt away.
“Hey, everything will be okay.” He said softly, placing his hand over yours. “Don't worry about the hate. You are amazing and I know you can do it.”
His words were like a warm blanket on a cold night. You felt yourself slowly starting to calm down. Chan continued, telling you about his own difficulties and how he overcame them. His stories encouraged you and you started to believe that maybe everything would actually work out.
At one point our eyes met, and a quiet, electrifying moment hung in the air. You felt your heart beat faster and the distance between you seemed to shrink. You were so close you could feel his breath on your skin. But before anything could happen, the door burst open.
It was Yumi, one of the band members. Her face was contorted with anger and her eyes flashed with lightning.
“Am I interrupting?” She asked coldly, looking at you with obvious dislike. You knew s she didn't like you, and now you had one more reason to find out.
Chan pulled away and you felt like someone had poured a bucket of cold water on you. Yumi had a crush on Chan for a long time, and seeing him close to you was unbearable for her.
"NO." Chan replied, getting out of bed. “We just talked.”
Yumi looked at you with contempt and then at Chan, as if to say she felt sorry for him for having to spend time with you. She grabbed Chan's hand and pulled him along. Chan looked at you apologetically and you were left alone with your thoughts.
"Sorry." He said quietly. “We'll spend more time together someday, I promise.” His words outraged Yumi even more.
When the door to your room closed you felt a pang in your heart again, you didn't like the fact that Chan was going with another girl. You had the feeling that you were starting to feel a little more for Chan than just friendship.
The next few days Chan was too busy with his activities and had no time for you. You tried even harder than before to recover from your mistake and your effort was not in vain. You practiced all day and night to perfect everything.
But your efforts required sacrifices. Sometimes you forgot to eat anything throughout the day, and sometimes you stayed up all night to perfect the choreography. It affected your appearance.
You walked through the halls of the studio, trying to avoid the stares of passers-by. Tiredness was visible on your face and the dark circles under your eyes were impossible to hide. Every step felt heavy, like an invisible weight was pressing down on your shoulders.
It was another day full of stress and challenges that seemed to have no end. The pressure of success, the expectations of fans, and your own ambitions were starting to overwhelm you. Just then, completely by accident, you collided with someone on the corner.
"Sorry!" You called out automatically, looking up.
It was Chan. He looked at you with concern and surprise. His eyes, usually full of energy and joy, were now full of concern.
“Y/N? What happened?" He asked, examining your face closely.
You couldn't hide your condition any longer. Not in front of him, even if you tried, he would discover everything. You sighed deeply, trying to gather your thoughts.
“It's... it's nothing, Chan. It's just... it's been a little hard lately.” You said quietly, trying to smile even though your eyes showed your true emotions.
Chan noticed how exhausted you were. Weight loss, dark circles under his eyes - all this was a signal to him that something was wrong. He couldn't ignore it.
“Doesn't look like 'nothing', Y/N.” He said softly, moving closer to you. “Can you tell me what's going on? We're friends, right?"
Your eyes met his. You fought with yourself for a while, but you finally felt like you could trust him. You needed someone to listen to you.
“It's all… the pressure, the demands… I feel like I'm losing control.” You confessed as tears began to stream down your cheeks. ”I don't know if I'm good enough, Chan. I feel shitty, like I'm just a talentless person."
His heart clenched at the sight of your tears. Without thinking, he stepped closer and gently wiped the tears from your cheek.
“You are the most talented and beautiful person I know, Y/N. Never doubt it. Everyone has their difficult moments, but that doesn't mean you're not good enough. You are amazing and special.” He said, his voice full of warmth.
You didn't know what to say. His words took you by surprise. Before you knew it, Chan leaned in and kissed you softly. It was like forgetting the whole world for a brief moment, as if only the two of you existed in that moment.
When the kiss ended, you looked at each other in silence. You saw more than just friendship in his eyes. It was a feeling you both hid, perhaps even from yourselves.
Your face turned raspberry red and you bit your lip slightly, smiling slightly. You weren't expecting it at all, but you had to admit that it felt very good.
Without heeding anything, Chan grabbed your hand and took you to his studio. He closed the door behind you and you leaned against his desk. In the blink of an eye, the boy was next to you and placed his hands on both sides of your body.
“You don't even know how long I've been waiting for this.” He croaked, moving between your legs.
Your face did not hide surprise, but you decided to give in to the feeling that was hidden somewhere deep in your soul. He leaned towards you and placed a kiss on your lips again. His movements were gentle, full of tenderness, but also careful, as if he wasn't sure if he could continue.
You wrapped your arms around his neck, letting him know he could continue. And that's when it started. His hands went to your buttocks and he pulled you closer to him. His kisses became more confident and passionate. You started to get aroused from just kissing.
You felt your body become hot and a huge knot began to form in your lower abdomen. His soft, full lips moved to your neck, leaving a wet trail behind them. A muffled moan of pleasure escaped your lips. Chan just smiled and sucked on one of your collarbones, leaving a raspberry mark.
The pleasure that came from it was unbearable and a quite loud moan escaped your lips.
“Don't do that, I won't be able to stop myself. “ Chan whispered, lightly biting your earlobe.
A pleasant shiver ran down your spine and your cheeks turned red again. Chan was about to kiss you a second time when you suddenly heard someone calling his name from the hall. You quickly pulled away from each other and laughed awkwardly when your eyes met.
“I have to go, beautiful, but I'll see you soon. Let it remain our sweet secret. “ He kissed you tenderly on the cheek before leaving the studio.
You waited for a moment, rejoicing like a child, and you also left the room and went straight home. The amount of emotions was too great to stay in this place for even a few more minutes.
When you got home you couldn't believe what happened today. You didn't expect that things would turn out this way and that you would have such a relationship with Chan. Your best friend, your childhood soulmate. Under the influence of high emotions and constant thoughts about this situation, you couldn't focus on anything at all and you didn't do anything productive for the rest of the day.
Finally at night, when your emotions calmed down a bit and you were able to function normally, you laid in your bed and were about to go to sleep when you received a message. Thinking it was Chan, you grabbed your phone, but to your surprise, it was a text from Yumi. At first you ignored her, but when more and more messages started coming in, you finally decided to check what she wanted from you.
As soon as you opened the message, you froze. You couldn't believe your own eyes. You were just looking at photos of you and Chan in his studio kissing. You didn't understand where Yumi got these photos. Your mind was filled with questions you couldn't find answers to.
Without hesitation, you wrote to Yumi: "Where did you get these photos? Delete them immediately!" The reply came almost immediately: "Meet me in 30 minutes at JYP and I'll explain everything."
You threw your phone on the bed and felt a wave of panic. You didn't have time to think. You quickly grabbed your coat and ran out of the apartment. The rain started to fall harder, but you didn't pay attention to it. You had to get to JYP, you had to find out what Yumi wanted from you.
When you arrived, Yumi was waiting for you in the hall, a satisfied smile on her face. You felt the blood rush to your head.
“What does that mean, Yumi?” You burst out, barely holding back your tears. "Why are you doing this?"
Yumi shrugged as if it was all just harmless fun.
“You see, Y/n, I have some plans. And you are part of them.” Her voice was cold, emotionless. “If you want me to delete these photos and not ruin your and Chan's career, you have to do something for me.”
You felt your heart sink.
"What do you want?" Yumi smiled broadly, a gleam of triumph in her eyes.
“You have to embarrass yourself on your next live. I want you to sing a song, but you need to be so out of tune in the whole song.”
You felt your world falling apart. It was degrading, after all, you didn't train so much to show this side of yourself, but you knew there was no other option. If you don't do what Yumi says, your career and Chan's will be ruined.
"I agree." You said quietly, feeling tears begin to flow down your cheeks.
For the next week, you avoided Chan as he prepared for his comeback. After all, you couldn't tell him about the situation with Yumi. However, the boy wrote to you every day, trying to comfort you as usual, even though he didn't know what was really going on. The hate from the band members and label continued to come at you, but you tried not to give up, remembering Chan's words that gave you strength.
The day of the live came and you were sitting in the dressing room, shaking with nerves. You knew it would be a nightmare. Yumi stood nearby, a satisfied smile on her face.
“Remember, Y/N, one wrong move and these photos will go out.” Yumi whispered, looking down at you.
As soon as the camera turned on, each girl began to show off their strengths. Their dancing, rapping and singing. Finally it was your turn, you took a deep breath and started singing. You deliberately mangled every note, feeling your heart break with each passing second. Your long-earned self-confidence and desire to show your best side have been forgotten. You weren't sure if you would ever get back what you had worked for so long, all you felt inside was pain.
Comments started pouring in almost immediately.
"What an embarrassment!", "Is she serious?", "It's tragic!" Yumi read them aloud, enjoying every cruel word.
You couldn't stand it. You ran out of the building, ignoring the screams of Yumi and the rest of the staff. The street was dark, the rain was pouring so hard that you could barely see where you were going. But it didn't matter. You had to run as far away as possible. Your phone was ringing, but you didn't have the strength to answer it. You were devastated, overwhelmed by the amount of negative emotions and stimuli.
Finally, unable to run any longer, you fell to your knees in a puddle, feeling the rain mix with your tears. You had nowhere to go, no one to ask for help. You were alone, in the dark, with your heart aching and your soul torn to shreds. After a while, you were so soaked that you didn't care.
Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse, suddenly your eyes were blinded by the glare of flashlights. People who recognized you started gathering around you, taking pictures of you and making fun of the condition of the "future big kpop star".
You tried to cover yourself somehow, but the number of phones being shoved in your face was too much. The whole situation led to a panic attack. The pain in your chest began to intensify and your breathing quickened significantly, preventing you from taking a full breath. You were afraid, powerless and alone.
Only the police, who were on patrol, chased away the onlookers and helped you calm down enough to go home. You entered the building, soaking wet, and locked yourself in your room, bursting into tears. You immediately grabbed your phone to check if any photos from the incident had leaked online.
You knew it was inevitable, but you still hoped for a miracle. Of course you miscalculated. The outpouring of photos and cruel entries was huge. Your name was trending on social media. To make yourself even stronger, you started reading the comments. Each subsequent one contained more and more venom. You've been scrolling through the comments for a long time, but you haven't found a single positive one.
You burst into even more tears. Under the influence of negative comments and the whole situation, your thoughts have gone very wrong. You grabbed a few cans of beer from the fridge and drank them in one gulp. The alcohol hit you very quickly. You didn't want to feel this pain anymore, you didn't want to suffer anymore.
Shaky and under the influence of alcohol, you went to the cabinet where you kept your medicines, grabbed a full bottle of painkillers and sat on the floor. The tears wouldn't stop flowing from your eyes. Still shaking, you grabbed your phone and texted Chan one word
"Sorry."
You opened the bottle of medicine and immediately poured all the pills into your mouth. They struggled down your throat, but you managed to swallow them. You grabbed your phone again and texted again
“I can't take it anymore...I love you.”
And now all you have to do is wait for the alcohol to mix with the drugs and you can finally rest.
Chan was in his studio when he received the news. At first he was surprised because he didn't understand why you were apologizing and he was about to reply to you when he received the rest of the messages. The terror shook him to his core. With a heart full of fear, he rushed to your apartment, breaking all speed limits without a second thought. In the meantime, he called an ambulance, sensing that something bad had happened.
When he got there, he was banging on the door, calling your name. However, he was met with no response. In panic, he kicked down the door and his heart broke. He saw you lying limply on the floor, with an empty medicine bottle and beer cans scattered around the room. He rushed to you, holding your head, trying to wake you up. However, it was to no avail.
“Don't die Y/n please!” He screamed through tears. He was helpless.
Fortunately, rescuers arrived moments later and took you to the hospital, where they fought for your life. Chan went with you and he was going crazy in the waiting room waiting for news from any doctor
Hours passed and still nothing was known about your condition. The only person who really knew about this whole incident was Chan, who, despite the persuasion of the guys from Stray Kids, did not want to leave the hospital. As soon as the news about Chan in the hospital spread on the Internet, there were hundreds of fans in front of the building wanting to take his photo, and the hospital security couldn't keep up with removing the intrusive fans.
Chan didn't care if they took pictures of him or talked about him, the only thing that mattered was you. The boy was angry with himself, he felt that he had let you down, he didn't notice your suffering and he wasn't with you when you needed it most.
Just as Chan was starting to lose all hope, the doctor came out and informed him about your condition.
“We managed to save her, but her parameters don't look very good. For now, she will need a lot of rest.” He said, writing something else down in the papers.
As soon as Chan heard the doctor's words, he felt a stone fall from his heart. You lived. Everything that had previously seemed to be the end of the world suddenly disappeared. Your bed slowly rolled out of the operating room and Chan immediately rushed to it, helping the nurses get you to your room. He has reserved a VIP room especially for you, so that you can have the best possible conditions. He didn't care how much money he spent - now the only thing that mattered was you.
Chan didn't leave your room even for a moment. He was still by your side, waiting for you to wake up. He ordered food to the hospital, he produced food at the hospital, he even stopped participating in Stray Kids activities just to be with you. His devotion was unwavering and his heart full of caring.
After three days, you finally woke up. The world was blurry, but the first thing you saw was Chan sleeping by your side. He was sitting in a chair with his head resting on the bed. Unable to help yourself, you smiled slightly and brushed the stray strands of hair from his forehead. The boy immediately woke up, and his face showed satisfaction. He snuggled into you and you both shed a happy tear.
Chan started to apologize to you for not being there for you, but you stopped him.
“It's not your fault,” you said quietly.
Chan confessed that he saw all the bad things that happened to you and he was very sorry that he was too busy to be there for you. You explained that it was all Yumi's fault, she took pictures of you two in the studio kissing and then blackmailed you. Chan was hurt by your words because he didn't want your career to be ruined because of him. He promised that everything would be fine now, that he would never leave you again and that he would personally make sure everything worked out.
After a week in the hospital, you were finally able to go home. Chan picked you up and took you straight to JYP Entertainment, where JYP personally informed you that you were leaving the band and would be a soloist. You were very happy and grateful to Chan for all this. Your career gained new momentum and your popularity was growing day by day.
Chan was with you practically constantly. In his very busy schedule, he always found time to at least write to you. Your relationship blossomed and your love became stronger. At one of the large galas to which you were invited, Stray Kids received an award. Chan confessed that he is in a relationship with you and plans to spend the rest of his life with you. You felt embarrassed, but Chan walked up to you and placed a kiss on your lips.
The room lit up with a thousand flashes and cheers echoed from the walls, but it didn't bother you, you were now locked in your own bubble that you didn't want to leave. Your hearts were pounding like crazy, you knew perfectly well that you were made for each other and you had been waiting for each other for far too long.
Videos and photos from this event quickly spread over the Internet, but lucky for you, the fans loved you. They discovered what kind of person you really are and how much talent you hide inside. Your songs began to gain more and more popularity and your solo career was gaining momentum.
Chan fulfilled his promise. He was with you in the most difficult moments, supported you in every decision and loved you endlessly. Your love has become an inspiration for many people, and together you have created a story that will remain in the hearts of your fans forever.
The years passed and your love only grew. You went through many difficulties together, but you always supported each other. Your solo career continued to grow at an incredible pace, and Chan continued to enjoy success with Stray Kids. You were the perfect duo – on stage and in life.
The love you shared was unbreakable. Every day brought new challenges, but you knew that together you could overcome anything. Because true love will always find a way, regardless of the obstacles.

Not one of the boys
Twisted wonderland cast realizes that (Yuu) is a girl.
Part 1 - Part 2 - Part 3 - Part 4 Featuring: Idia and Ortho - Sebek and Silver
The dark figure in our dorm's yard was unmistakable, and like in his prior appearances, I jogged to him as soon as I noticed.
- VDC you say? Are you actually trying to invite me to this?- - Why yes...The boys have been working hard, I assure you, it's stunning! And well... As fun, as it is following your "Will-o'-the-wisp", I would like to be around you a bit more. - and hastily added - Only if you want to of course! -
Much as his Fae companion, Tsunotarou laughed at my expenses leaving me with my lingering smile and owlish confused eyes. - You really seem to know no fear. - he smiled broadly - Very well. I humbly accept your invitation.- and I smiled satisfied.
- Will you be going on stage? - - Ah no! I'm their "Manager", as Vil likes to call me. - - Mmm a shame...- I chuckled flustered - Crowley didn't want to risk other schools finding out I'm a girl. You never know what could ever happen. Ha ha ha - - Mm yes I can see the risks. Lilia told me he discovered it as well. -
Thinking back to each event I recalled the surprise on everyone, and feeling a little insecure I asked - ...Tsunotaro, you think...Am I perhaps...not feminine enough? - he threw me a weird look - I-I mean, nobody ever noticed till seeing my... More prominent features. And is not like I'm going out of my way to hide it! So you know...- and I scratched the back of my head.
He hummed and smiled beautifully - No, I think you're plenty. - his words without an inch of tease - I think the beauty of your femininity is enhanced by your boyish charm.- ... - Wai..what!? - - I'm looking forward to the day of the show Goodnight (Yuu).- *puff* and he left me standing in a blushing mess.
- Tsunotaro thinks I am beautiful...- I sighed dreamily - and he looked happy, I'm glad.-
Trope
A couple of days before the culture fair I made my way to Mr. S's Mystery Shop - Gooood morning Sam! How is it going? - - Hello (Yuu), very well thank you. Radiant as always are you? hahaha. - - Of course! My delivery has yet to arrive? - I scanned the shelves. - The pile is right there next to the Grimoire. - he pointed. - You almost caught them this time. -
- Uff... they're so... slippery. They've been so kind to sell all those manga for such a low price. I would really like to thank them face to face. - - They are elusive indeed. - commented Sam - Sorry, but he begged me multiple times not to say a word. - and winked. He wasn't sorry at all, he just enjoyed seeing my frustration. - Yeah yeah... I'm not here just for those; 'must refill our team. - and I handed him the grocery list.
---
- Another pile? - Commented Grim. - I know right?- completely missing his point. - And for like 500 Madol??? - - Shopping again Trickster? - I nodded happily to Rook - Have you seen them this time? - - Nah. Again, they ran away before my arrival. - I climbed the stairs to pose my new collection - And it's so frustrating! Sometimes they go for an hour via chat. Talking about what I should watch or read, his thoughts and theories. But then, they shut down completely saying stuff like: "Sry I'm such an otaku lmao bye.'" and then avoid me for days. -
- Would you like me to do a little research? - asked the hunter with a sharp smile. -...no...thank you for...the thought. I guess. - I patted his shoulder awkwardly. What I didn't know then was that he already discovered the identity of my seller long before. - But why give away all those books anyway? - pondered Grim. - Apparently bought a stock and he already owned some of them. "I must share the words of those artworks for the greater good". Something like that. -
---
On the day of the festival, me and Grim joined the booth check team. Entered the boardgames club exhibit we found a tall boy with long hair like flames sulking in a corner of the class. - Ahh, two hours left until the research presentation...- -... Idia, what are you doing at a place like that? - frowned Riddle. - It's called anxiety. - I mumbled.
- Uwah!!! Riddle master!!! Why are you here? - he jumped. - M-master? - - Fist of steal even outside the dorm eh? - I nudged the redhead on the side. He frowned at me and taking advantage of his distraction I saw the awkward boy nodding profusely. - Are you ready for the research presentation?- turned back the little tyrant. - Y-you don't have to worry. Just wait and see. - responded the other.
I stared for a moment in thought, making him even more fidgety than before - Are you perhaps... Ortho's brother? - - Sigh... *Eh-hem Y-yes. - he exhaled relieved. - 'Knew it I saw somewhere that blue hair! I have to say, after seeing him "draw a sword" defending your honor at the VDC auditions, I was very curious about meeting you. - - I-well-there's n-nothing i-i-interesting aab-b-bout m-me...I CAUGHT THE INTEREST OF A NORMIE IKEMEN????? - he mumbled hiding from my view.
- Riddle Roseharts, Trey Clover, Grim, hello! Of course, I'll always be there for Nii-san, he's a genius, (Yuu) (Wander)! - appeared the brother in question before I could protest the title of normie. - (YUU) (WANDER)??? - Idia jumped back but quickly covered his mouth and his back faced us all for a second time. He sneaked a look from his shoulder, caught my eyes, and the flames on his head turned pink. My companions looked me over questioningly, but seeing my expression just as confused, they searched for answers in his most trusted subject.
*Blank stare.* - W-well...*eh-hem Hi Ortho! I'm sure you speak the truth about your brother, I'm looking forward to hearing the...- - ...(Yuu) (Wander) - interrupted me once more in a softer tone. The four of us stared back and forth at the pair in search of answers.
- But it's great! - suddenly quipped Ortho. - Nii-san don't you understand? Is like in that Shojo where the girl in disguise in the boy academy becomes friends with her crush and...- - W-W-WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ORTHO??? - The floating boy started to chant robotically. - (Yuu) (Wander) has sent at 09:45 a.m., Friday 2...- - I KNOW WHO HE IS BUT WHAT GIRL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? - - (Yuu) (Wander), student at Night Raven College, is a non-magical human being. Gender Female, height...-
- Stooop - I interrupted the chaotic theatric playing before our eyes. - 1, How was I unaware of sending messages to...you... - but the teenager was no longer with us, his soul probably left his body, and the now empty shell lay on the ground stiff...- ...and 2, when did you find out about me, Ortho? Being a girl that is. - I got closer to check on the dorm's leader's well-being. Tho, sensing my nearby presence he recovered immediately and ran out in a string of apologies. His hair turned a Barbie pink.
- I... Hope his presentation goes well. The magic, engineering that he specialized in has a lot of interesting articles about modern magic. So let's hope this...predicament hasn't caused too much brain damage. - pondered Riddle. - I'm a bit worried, but I'm sure he is going to recover. - and the little Sheoud turned back to us.
- So... What just happened exactly? - trailed off Grim. - You asked: 1, how were you unaware of sending messages to my brother? Nii-san has been chatting with (Yuu)San under the nickname of "Gloomy Samurai" in the second-hand shopping app: Twyst. - *GASP! I reacted dramatically - He was my generous dealer!!!! - - What was he dealing to you??? - Riddle panicked already picturing me falling into the drug club. - One launched Man, flexible cover edition from 01 to volume 23, Junior High attack, redesigned edition, flexible cover, complete... - - Mangas Riddle, Mangas. - I reassured.
- And for number 2: I scanned and stored your physical information when we met the first time. - he confessed nonchalantly. - That's... Fascinating intimidating. - I commented, eyes wide open. - And what was that Shojo girl in a boy academy... - teased Trey. - Please Ortho, don't answer that.- I flashed the green-haired boy a sharp gaze.
I had the impression Gloomy Samurai would've shut me down completely from this day on, and if before there was little possibility of him wanting to meet up in RL, now... stupid to even take it into consideration. - Say Ortho, what's your brother's favorite food? - If I couldn't thank him with me present physically or digitally, a gift would've sufficed.
Title
- TSUNOTARO????? - Sebek was in a tantrum.
- You too? - I murmured in disbelief once they finished their back and forth - Tsunotaro, can I confirm a suspicion of mine? - he smiled and nodded curious about what was going on in that small brain of mine. - This is just a stretch... But is it perhaps that you are searching gazes different from "Mighty prince" or "Terrifying magic user"? I mean why come to a public school otherwise right? -
His faithful knight threw again insults, but the subject himself stayed quiet. Silence needed to be fulfilled for my brain to function so I rumbled even more, in search of an understandable response from the boy - You know,...People can be so focused on What we are, instead of the Who. I mean I thought of it because I saw in us some similarities...Of course, is totally on a different level and type,...but, you know,... I can see a behavior change when my friends discover I'm a girl. And it's...- - WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT??? - Sebek screamed and became a blushing mess.
Silver widened his eyes in realization. - The infirmary, it wasn't a dream...- and pink gradually made its way on his face. I flew a hand on my mouth. - I got lost in my thoughts. - Malleus petted my hair chuckling while Grim clapped his paws with a flat face - It could've gone worse - I enquired to the cat - It could've rained...- I joked nervously.
- NOW EVERYTHING IS CLEAR! You have been luring our master! - screamed Sebek - That's why he has permitted you so much! For sure, under that innocent cute look, you're hiding some secret spell, seducing him you little witch. And grumble, grumble, grumble... - - I would take this as offense honestly - I murmured to the prince. - I would take that as a compliment, cute innocent witch, fufufufu.- he teased.
After recovering from my blush, he was still on fire with his ranting. So I decided to suffocate it with my trashing around - Doll, I'm not stealing your man dah. - - Wha...- As I predicted, his voice died stunned. - Not this again...- groaned Grim recalling the joke Catfights between me and my ginger friend.
- This relationship is completely consensual. - I gestured, and perplexed but very amused Malleus nodded - See? And now, look at ya. - I returned to Sebek - Chasing after him, seeking attention - and with a click of my tongue I concluded - so desperate. - - You... Never stop to surprise me child of man. -

Earthquake magnitude 6.2 in the Isle of Sages Possible causes: tectonic plates moved by repeated sound waves with abnormal peaks of decibels. Location: Night Raven Collage.

They say that I'm a witch And that I weave a spell Well, I'll be a son of a I don't know what Well, let me tell you brother I'd rather be burned as a witch than never be burned at all (I'd rather be burned as a witch - Eartha Kitt)
*Eh-hem so... What happened? - inquired Crowley. Both me and Ruggie despite the clear frustration of the headmaster, sat nonchalantly, being confident in our innocence.
~
I roamed my eyes on one of the topper shelves in the library holding on a ladder to reach them better. - What are you doing up there (Yuu)? - I heard a whisper from the ground. - Oh! Hi Ruggie! Just searching for my way home. What about you? - Maybe I could find some documents about magical transportation or alternative universes. - Ehmm okay(!?) Me? Same usual, Leona's chores. I'm taking some books for him or he'll just forget to do his research. - - Lazy ass... - I snorted reaching for another book. - Leona. That's who he is. *Shshshsh.-
His eyes then darted down. On the topic of asses. - *Eh-hem... Can you lend me a hand? I think I saw one of the books I need up there. - - Oh sure! Which one?- I responded. - There on the third, no no the fourth down,... Yep, A little more on the right...- - This one? - I glanced back. - No no the other one on the left. *Shshshhshs -
Yep, TOTALLY looking at the books.
* SBAM I jumped down. - AARGH DON'T HIT ME! - and neither of us expected the disaster after that.
~
- That's what you get looking at my boogie! - - YOU WERE TRYING TO THROW THAT BOOK AT ME! I can't believe you chicks! Thinking you have permission to use violence on men, am I right? - - NO I WASN'T! I just jumped down, You scared off yourself and hit the shelf on your own!... And don't deflect!!! You were the one scheming to... -
- SILENCE!!! - Crowley's strong voice covered both of ours. - Ruggie. - he called out sternly. The ears of the hyena were now flat waiting for the worse. - By "chicks" you mean,...girls? - he then trailed his eyes on me with that scary glowing gaze of his. Ruggie thought about it for a while and then smirked. - Yes. I meant girls. - he probably thought the Crow would get too distracted, so he could make a run out of his disaster. - That's quite an interesting predicament (Yuu)... Didn't I warn you to take secrecy? How is that this dear student know?-
- You... Didn't know, headmaster? - I blinked confused. - Know what? - I caught him unprepared. - *ps... What are you doing???- whispered-yelled Ruggie. Sure, he wanted for me to be scolded for HIM knowing, but he didn't expect... - I thought either Azul told you or you had noticed already. - I responded. - Aw. That's nice! It means they really did maintain the secret. - I reached the ahs blonde boy and patted his cheek. - I have such good friends! - - H-hey!It's because there was no advantage in telling anybody.- Embarrassed, he drove my hand away.
- (Yuu).- - Yes? - - EXPLAIN. NOW -
Finished this series!!!! Ruggie was with Silver the less brought up in the "discovery timeline", so I thought it might've been nice to include them a little more with two mini stories (Silver's is in part 3).
Malleus, on the other hand no, he didn't need more timing. But my simping for him did.
I hope you had a fun time with lil old me! Wish you the best, 'till next time! ✨💙

Eden TRIP Album MC Talk Series
Season: ☆
MC 1
Hiyori: “Thank you for coming to our, Eden’s, independent live today! It sure is a blessing to be able to celebrate the album release together!
We’ve loaded our love into the songs to be delivered to you. Receive them without leaving out a single one, okay……♪”
Jun: “The first song we performed was KEEP OUT.
How was this song that was specifically written for the album?”
Nagisa: “…… I’m glad that you seem to like it. KEEP OUT means ‘no trespassing’.
…… We’re going to break into everyone’s hearts. Into the shining paradise, like a lurking viper.”
Ibara: “And then we will slowly and carefully pour poison into you, and show you sweet dreams.
So that tonight’s stage may become an unforgettable memory……♪”
Jun: “Afterwards, we’ll perform two songs; one after the other~ That first song is—”
Nagisa and Ibara: “…… Melting Rouge Soul.”
MC 2
Ibara: “Melting Rouge Soul from Adam, and Ruby Love from Eve have been performed.
Both of these were songs unveiled at Chocolat Fes— during Valentine’s season.
Nagisa: “…… Yeah. At that time, the fact that both Adam and Eve were releasing new songs at the same time became a hot topic.
…… The cheering during the moment Ibara and I said “Melting Rouge Soul” felt really good.”
Ibara: “Fufu. I’m sure there are a lot of people who did not expect it because it’s called Eden’s independent live.
I told you, didn't I? That I’ll show you sweet dreams……♪”
Hiyori: “Adam’s fans, Eve’s fans, as well as Eden’s fans—
Today we will satisfy every single person who loves us.
You’re prohibited from looking away! Keep your eyes on us till the very end♪
Jun-kun, you can’t blink either!”
Jun: “Eeh, please let me blink~ My eyes will get dry.
Oh, seems like they got everything ready while we were talking. The next song will be a solo song.
Ibara Saegusa’s— Salute Desire.”
MC 3
Ibara: “— That was Salute Desire
Oops. Thank you for the warm applause.
Though I endeavored to give a more perfect performance than usual—
During a solo song, everyone’s gazes are concentrated on me from every possible angle, so my mind could not even be inattentive for even a single moment.
Above all else, I’m glad that you were satisfied♪
Now, let me briefly introduce myself.
I am Eden’s Ibara Saegusa. Salute~☆
As you see, alongside my idol activities, I’m also serving concurrently as the producer of Eden and the vice president of the agency.
I’m very happy to be able to deliver the new song as well as the accompanying event to everyone.
I will continue to work energetically, so I ask you to please continue to treat Eden and Cosmic Production well☆
The next song will be brought to you by the four members of Eden.
Let us show you our way of life— Paradise Banishment -Faith Conquest-”
MC 4
Nagisa: “…… We’ve performed Paradise Banishement -Faith Conquest-.
…… It was first unveiled during Conquest wasn’t it. It’s a song containing Eden’s faith.
…… Hiyori-kun doesn’t really like it, I wonder?”
Hiyori: “No. I like the song itself. It’s a song that’s just like Eden.
But I’ve had enough of Conquest! Even if it’s a farce, I don’t want to act like we’re fighting and hating each other.
We’re aaaalways been the best united, mutually loving, unit—
I’m sure the fans don’t want to see us like that too.”
Nagisa: “…… I agree. The loud cheers that could shake the whole venue is the greatest proof of that.
…… Let’s keep getting along, Hiyori-kun.
…… As an ‘equal friend.’”
Hiyori: “Yes. ‘Equal’……♪
-Now now, next would be something everyone has been waiting for, my solo song!
Accept My Love— accept my love……!”(1)
TL Note:
He translates “Accept My Love” into Japanese here.
MC 5
Hiyori: “Thank you for listening to Accept My Love!
Yes yes. You’re smiling so much, I’m happy too☆
I’ll follow Ibara’s example and introduce myself. I am Eden’s Hiyori Tomoe!
Life isn’t all about fun. There’s times where you feel depressed and like you want to cry.
When that happens, it’s good to look at me. Because I’m the one who shines bright like the sun☆
Listen to my songs, and follow the productions I appear in—
Just imitate me and smile! Since I always have a smile on my face!
If you smile, the people around you will also smile. It’s a happiness chain reaction. What fine weather……☆
Now! Let’s move on to the next song, shall we?
All four of us will perform it, so please give us all of your support.
Eden’s— EXCEED.”
MC 6
Jun: “I’ve just performed EXCEED. This song is—”
Ibara: “Isn’t this a song with a shady history for you, Jun?”
Jun: “Wait a sec. Could you please stop saying misleading things~?
It’s not like it’s got a shady history or anything, umm……
When we released this song, I had lost my confidence and kept makin’ mistakes.
But then, Ibara went out of character and comforted me by saying,’Why do you lose confidence when there are people who view you so favorably?’……”
Ibara: “‘Out of character’ is superfluous.”
Jun: “Haha. I won’t be able to be the same as Ohiisan, Nagi-senpai, or Ibara, but to that extent—
No. That’s why, as Jun Sazanami, I’ll continue to put in the effort as myself.
Eden is where I belong, y’know~
Haha, thank you for all the applause. Sorry if I sounded like I was urging y’all to do something.”
Ibara: (Whispering) …… Honestly, Jun really was an idiot during that time.
There are so many people who love you.
Jun: “Hm? I couldn’t hear it over the applause, but you said something, right?”
Ibara: “No, it’s nothing. Please continue talking about yourself after you finish singing.
Now then, please listen. Jun Sazanami’s— Unlock the Soul.”
MC 7
Jun: “Hello, everyone. It’s Eden’s Jun Sazanami.
How was Unlock the Soul?
The lyrics were good, weren’t they~. When I sing them, I get excited.
Speaking of lyrics, apparently Ibara wrote the lyrics to the song I just sang, EXCEED, for me.
Wha~t? People might think I sound conceited when I say that.
But Nagi-senpai said it was to help me get over my slump or something. There’s no doubting it~
Well. That Ibara, he can be really kind sometimes~♪
Haha. Ibara’s looking at me from the side of the stage with a face like he just swallowed a bitter bug.
I shouldn’t get carried away, or I’ll probably get scolded later~
Now that I’ve told a story just for this special occasion, let’s get to the next song.
Eden’s— Absolute Perfection.”
MC 8
Nagisa: “…… Absolute Perfection. This is the first song we performed at Absolute.
…… I am God♪
…… Ibara, please look. Everyone’s rejoicing.”
Ibara: “It seems so. Unlike Absolute’s stage, this is a country where countless gods rule.”
Nagisa: “…… That’s not the only reason.
…… There are many people here who love us. They weren’t present at Absolute either.”
Ibara: “Indeed. The presence of fans is an idol’s strength—their powerful weapon.
However. It’s not normal for Eden to be completely dependent on our fans.
Let’s be ourselves and make a triumphant return to Absolute with our utmost strength.
Then, we will receive our laurels and make ourselves known. Eden are the best idols in the world.”
Nagisa: “…… Yes. I’m sure our fans want that as well.
…… Because we’re the strongest idols, Eden.
…… Next, I’ll perform my solo song.”
Ibara: “Everyone please listen. Nagisa Ran’s—We’re all alone.”
MC 9
Nagisa: “…… You just listened to We’re all alone.
…… I’m Eden’s Nagisa Ran. Thank you for coming to our live today.
…… Each song has its own memories. I was remembering all that happened while singing.
…… I wonder if you all have had the same experience? Since music and memories are connected to one another and committed to memory.
…… I wonder if everyone has some kind of emotional attachment to Eden’s songs.
…… If possible, I would like to ask each and every one of you individually. But, it would be difficult to do that today.
…… It would make me happy if you could let me know through a letter or handshake event.
…… I hope our songs may touch everyone’s hearts.
…… ‘The eternal paradise that touches the heart’— that’s what Eden is.
…… And now, it’s almost time for the end.
…… We’ll perform two songs in a row at the end. Eden’s— Awakening Myth.”
MC 10
Nagisa: “…… It’s a shame, but let’s close the door to paradise.”
Jun: “It was nice to meet you. Thank you for coming to Eden’s independent live today!
Did you all have fun at our live?”
Hiyori: “You got to see my finest performance, so it must have been fun!
I swear on Ibara’s glasses that it’s true☆”
Ibara: “Could you please not involve me? If you’re going to swear on something, swear on Jun’s life instead.”
Hiyori: “That’s no good! Jun-kun’s life is mine!”
Jun: “My life is my own. Could you not swear on it so casually~?”
Nagisa: “…… Hey, can I close the door to paradise?”
Jun: “C’moon, Nagi-senpai is bothered now, isn’t he?”
Hiyori: “Don’t make it sound like it’s my fault! It’s collective responsibility!”
Jun: “Alright alright. Now then, let’s meet again some time soon.”
MC 11
Ibara: “Everyone! Thank you for the magnificent encore!”
Nagisa: “…… The door to paradise opened right away.”
Hiyori: “No. It didn’t open on its own, we had to open it. With the power of everyone’s love♪
That’s why we also have to respond with love. Let’s share the love with everyone here.”
Jun: “The last song is, of course, this song!— BRAND NEW STARS!!!”
MC 12
Jun: “That was BRAND NEW STARS!!! This is truly the end.
We did our best, though. When I think about how it’s over, I feel lonely after all, huh~”
Hiyori: “Everyone, thank you for singing with us! Thank you for your magnificent smiles!
Please come and see me again! I’ll be waiting♪”
Nagisa: “…… The door to paradise shall close again.
…… But I’m sure we’ll meet again. Without stopping, we’ll continue to grow.”
Ibara: “The latest information about Eden is always posted on the official SNS. Please take make use of it☆
Thank you for coming today! We’ll see you soon, salute~♪”

EEE THE CG MIKE DRABBLE WAS SO CUTE ^_^ thinkin’ abt mike taking little!reader and abby 2 freddy’s & they play with the animatronics and color 4 them !!
WAHHHH tysm for reading, am so glad you enjoyed :D this is such a cute idea, let me see what I can do <3 <3 <3
◞♡࿐ (takes place between abby meeting her friends for the first time and vanessa being there)
“Hi baby,” you were regressed and sitting in front of the tv with Abby, papers and crayons splayed out in front of you both. Mike had instantly smiled at the sight of you two, delighted with how well you had gotten along with his little sister. He bent down and pressed kisses to both of your foreheads.
“I’ve gotta get to work, okay?” Mike said softly, peering down at what you guys are drawing. You and Abby instantly look up with the same pleading eyes. “Can we come with?” You ask before Abby can. He hesitates, thinking it over.
Yeah, he didn’t want to leave you watching over Abby when you yourself needed to be watched when you were regressed. He also didn’t want his sister around the scary animatronics though he supposed you would probably revert back to your older self if anything happen. You had also been there before and the animatronics happened to like you, even if you were physically older. It was like they knew about the age regression too.
With a sigh, Mike slightly nodded. “Yes,” you both cheered before he could continue, “but you two have to promise to be good, okay?” You and Abby both gave as serious smiles as you could. “Alright, let me help you pack your stuff, baby.”
... ♡⃕
The car ride there was eventful as you and Abby planned what to do with your friends. Sometimes, Mike would look back in the rear view mirror and catch your eye and he would grin.
In a flash, the car was parked outside the pizzeria. You and Abby hauled your backpacks filled with crayons, markers, paper, and a stuffed animal or two inside. You both kept ahead of Mike, calling out for your friends and running up to the stages to say hi. Abby greeted Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica while you smiled up at Foxy.
Mike stayed behind, watching you both carefully interact with the animatronics. Them being possessed by ghost children still mystified him and he wasn’t sure he completely trusted them. But right now, he could settle for you and Abby being happy.
He had even gotten roped into playing hide and seek. First and foremost, he set ground rules that you and Abby couldn’t touch everything you see. Then, no hiding in storage closets or anywhere behind the scenes. Finally, you both were supposed to come out if he couldn’t find you in time. You both agreed and ran off while Mike counted loudly.
The animatronics stared at him, noting that he was going along with you and Abby playing and specifically, how he treated you. They watched as he found you first, lifting you up with a fond smile on his face as you giggled. And then they looked on as he did the same to Abby.
When hide and seek was over, the three of you sat at a table while the animatronics hovered around you all. There, you and Abby got your backpacks and spread out your coloring materials. You both made each of your friends a drawing, making sure to also include Mike in all of them. He watched you both color, pointing out specific things you did and keeping the same, soft smile on his face the entire time.
Soon enough, you fell onto Mike’s shoulder, sleepiness overtaking you. You yawned and snuggled into him further, blushing as he kissed your head. “Goodnight, baby.” He said quietly. He watched on as Abby soon fell asleep too.
Mike suddenly remembered the throw blankets he had packed into your backpack. He gently moved towards it, not wanting to disturb your rest. He got the two of them out and covered Abby first, then you. “Goodnight, Abbs.” He repeated the phrase to his sister and then, hesitantly, to the four machines. “And, uh, goodnight guys.”
The four animatronics loomed over him until they blinked owlishly with their glowing eyes. Then Freddy patted Abby on the shoulder while Foxy did the same to you (with his non-hook hand of course). They then stalked over to their stages, taking their default positions before the curtains suddenly closed on them.
Mike stared, weirded out by their behavior but also somehow relieved. He supposed it was their way of saying they were okay with him and how he treated the people he loved. So, with a sigh, Mike leaned forward and rested his arms on the table. He then put his head on his arms and eventually fell asleep as well, the sounds and sights of Nebraska not in his purview for the first time in a while.
◞♡࿐

---
Two Years Later
Tav’s boots were muddy, but she could see Baldur’s Gate in the distance. She was bone-tired, and on any other day, she would concede to Jaheira’s suggestion that they should make camp for the night and continue their journey tomorrow morning.
But she needed to see Rolan. It had been almost two months since she’d last seen him, and the distance was starting to ache in her chest. More than that, she had something important to tell him.
Lia and Geraldus were both on board, so they left their fellow Harpers in a clearing in the woods and began the five-mile trek home. Jaheira had pursed her lips, but not argued. This last stretch of road was very safe, and the three of them were well-armed in any case.
“Are you sure you’re alright to keep walking?” asked Lia, looking at Tav anxiously. Her eyes darted to Tav’s stomach, which was covered by armour, so she wouldn’t have been able to see anything even if there was anything to see.
She hadn’t actually told Lia anything, but her sister-in-law could be annoyingly perceptive when she wanted to be. These last few days of travel had been slow going, because Tav had been ill.
At the last town they’d passed through, she had gone for a private appointment with a cleric, and emerged with more than just potions for her nausea. She was sure that Lia had probably figured it out then, if she hadn’t already.
“I’m fine,” said Tav. “I just want to sleep in my own bed tonight.”
“Me too,” said Geraldus.
“Cal’s bed, you mean,” said Lia, poking him in the arm.
“Hush, you.” In the early stages of their relationship, Geraldus probably would’ve chuckled and blushed at the gentle ribbing from his boyfriend’s sister, but they’d been together for almost a year and a half now, and he’d also spent almost as much time with Lia as he had with Cal at this point.
When Tav and Lia had initially joined the Harpers, Cal had briefly considered joining too, but decided the adventurer’s life was not for him. He would much rather help Rolan tend Sorcerous Sundries and stay in the relative safety of Baldur’s Gate.
Privately, Tav knew that he was also staying to make sure Rolan wasn’t alone. She was glad. She would never have been able to go on such long missions if she knew that Rolan didn’t have anyone watching over him and making sure he was eating.
“Excited to get home to your husband?” Geraldus asked her.
She gave him a weak smile. Three years ago, the question would’ve made her blanche. But Rolan was not Lorroakan. The plan gold wedding band he’d given her didn’t weigh her down like the gaudy thing that she’d had from Lorroakan.
Still, she hadn’t expected marriage to feel so natural this time around. She hadn’t expected to want it, no matter how much she loved Rolan.
But about six months ago, it had come up in conversation, and she realised that marrying him didn’t terrify her the way she’d thought it would. In fact, the idea of calling him her husband was very appealing.
Within a month, they were married. It was a small ceremony with just their closest friends, and his siblings. Afterwards, they’d all had a very merry evening at the Elfsong Tavern. It was perfect.
“I’m hoping he’ll help me with my hair,” she said, lightly touching her braid. “All these weeks on the road haven’t been good for it. And Rolan gives excellent head-”
“I don’t want to hear about that!” Lia interrupted.
“Head massages! Don’t be crass!”
The three of them descended into laughter. It made the long walk a little easier.
It was past midnight by the time they made it to Ramazith’s tower. All three of them were excluded from the extensive wards that kept the tower safe, so they walked in with little fanfare.
The lights were on in the kitchen. That was where the three of them found Cal and Rolan, playing some kind of intricate card game. Myshka was curled up on Rolan’s lap, but as soon as he saw Tav, he leapt into her arms.
“MERMER!” he cried, nuzzling into her neck immediately. She had cast Speak with Animals in preparation for this very moment.
“Hi there, baby,” she murmured, scratching under his chin. Suddenly, she was being lifted off her feet. Myshka was sandwiched between her chest and Rolan’s as he embraced them both.
“Tav…” Rolan sounded breathlessly exhilarated. “I didn’t know you would be home tonight…”
“But you stayed up anyway,” she said as he set her back on her feet.
“Well, I did hope.”
“He stayed up last night too,” Cal chimed in from where he was entangled in Geraldus’ embrace.
“Shut up, Cal.”
“I suppose neither of my brothers are all that happy to see me. The perils of being a fifth wheel,” said Lia pointedly, walking over to the stove.
There was a pot of soup that was slowly simmering. She grabbed herself a bowl and began to spoon soup into it, but almost spilled it all over herself when Cal hugged her from behind.
“I missed you too, Lia,” he said.
Looking a little chastened, Rolan released Tav to go and embrace his sister as well.
“How was your trip?” Cal asked cheerfully.
“Long,” said Tav. “I really need a bath.” She tugged her braid loose from its tie, letting her tangled hair cascade over her shoulders.
“I’m sure I can manage that,” said Rolan.
“Cal, Geraldus,” said Lia suddenly. “Will you help me with my bags? I left some stuff downstairs that needs bringing up.
“What bags?” asked Geraldus, confused, but she elbowed him in the ribs. “Right, of course, let’s go.”
And then Tav and Rolan were alone. Tav was sure there were no bags to be brought up. Lia was just giving them an excuse to be alone.
Rolan put his hands on her shoulders and held her at arms’ length as he surveyed her.
“You’re looking well,” he said. “Lots of colour in your cheeks. That’s good to see. Being a Harper is good for you, as much as I hate to be away from you.”
She knew that he was downplaying his own feelings. Cal had once told her that her long absences were hard on Rolan. He feared for her safety, and he missed her deeply.
He would never tell her the full extent of his feelings though. He didn’t want to pressure her into putting his needs over her own.
“I never want to be away for that long again,” she said, and it was true.
She loved the thrill of adventure, but the tower was her home. Gone were the traces of Lorroakan that had haunted the place. With a combination of magic and interior design, they had made this place into a home for themselves.
“And I doubt I’ll be leaving Baldur’s Gate again any time soon. I’m going to be taking a little bit of a leave of absence, from fieldwork at least. With the resources we have at our disposal here, I can still make a difference without putting myself on the frontline.”
Rolan swallowed. “Really?” There was a quiet, but obvious spark of hope in his tone. “Tired of adventuring already?”
“Well, it’s more that I think it’s probably too dangerous for me right now, in my condition.”
“Condition?” he asked, drawing his eyebrows together in confusion.
She took his hand and guided it to her belly. In the last leg of the journey, she’d removed some of her armour, leaving her in a loose-fitting tunic. His eyes widened as understanding dawned on his face.
“You’re- We’re-” he stammered, disbelieving.
“Pregnant? Yes.”
“Gods, Tav.” He dropped to his knees and pressed his face into her clothed stomach. She put her arms around him, a laugh bubbling up in her chest.
“Are you…” A hint of nervousness entered her tone. “Happy to hear that?”
“I’m elated,” he said. “Are you?”
“I never thought I would want this,” she said. “I vowed to never give Lorroakan a child, so I thought that was it for me. But I want this with you. I want to have your child.”
“Tav…” Tears were rolling down Rolan’s cheeks. He pressed a kiss to her stomach. “I love you so much.
“I love you too.” She smoothed her fingers into his hair, loosening it from the hair tie that was holding it in place. He didn’t protest, still pressing his face against her.
That was how Cal, Lia and Geraldus found them a few minutes later, with him still on his knees, holding her. Lia let out an excited yelp as she took in the scene.
Rolan got to his feet quickly, embarrassed. “Should we tell them?” he whispered to Tav.
“I think Lia already knows. So I think it’s only fair.”
“Alright.” He nodded.
“We’re having a baby,” she said, and Cal almost knocked her off her feet as he pulled her into a hug.
“I knew it,” she hear Lia shriek, and chuckled into the material of Cal’s shirt. Rolan was hovering behind her, a protective hand on her lower back. As soon as Cal moved out of the way, Lia took his place, throwing her arms around Tav’s neck. “I’m so happy for you two.” She pulled back and held Tav’s face in her hands. “You’re brilliant, you know that? Your kid is going to be a superstar.”
“Our kid is going to have the best aunt and uncles in the world,” said Tav.
Lia turned to Rolan. “You’d better get to work, the mother of your unborn child wants a bath.”
“With rose petals,” Tav supplied.
“She wants rose petals,” said Lia, helpfully.
“I suppose I better get on that,” said Rolan, kissing Tav’s temple. “Anything for you.”

I went to NYCC this weekend for two days: Thursday and Friday. It was a fun time, and I'm so glad I went, but I thought I'd share my negative experiences from the reason why I went on Thursday, and how it could've easily become a con-ruiner if there weren't a few silver linings.
Click on the Read More if you want to hear about the Alex Hirsch signings and panel, and how NYCC made the events near-total disasters.
Warning: This story is long, but that's because its poor handling can't be condensed to a bite-sized retelling.
So, I wasn't always planning on attending NYCC on Thursday. Since all the Saturday and 4-day passes sell out before the general public even has a chance to buy them, I swooped for what I assumed was the next best day: Friday. One-day tickets are about $80 each, and once you combine those costs with both my potential cosplay and exhibit hall/artist alley shopping expenses, you can see why I wasn't originally planning to go for another day.
However, near the beginning of October, NYCC made a last minute announcement that Alex Hirsch would be at NYCC on Thursday and Friday. He would have signings on Thursday and Friday, and a panel on Thursday evening. I've never seen Alex Hirsch in person before, so this (and an NYCC-based costume contest held by Hirsch and announced only a few days after the main event announcements) was enough to make me buy an additional Thursday ticket.
Now, before I explain what happened during Hirsch's NYCC events, I want to clearly establish what information fans knew about them beforehand:
Every event involved Alex Hirsch, Joe Pitt, and Ian Worrel.
The signings were specifically for The Book of Bill. You had to have a copy of The Book of Bill to get a spot in the signing, which you could either bring yourself or purchase from the Barnes & Noble booth that would be set up nearby. You could also bring one additional item for signing.
Both signings were free and first come, first serve. They did not require any sort of prior purchase or reservation.
The panel on Thursday evening also did not require any sort of extra ticket purchase or reservation. (Reservations are only available to Empire or Main Stage panels; the Alex Hirsch panel was in one of the 400-level rooms.)
If you're thinking that this seems like too little information for something that could easily get chaotic in the wrong hands, then great! That's what I thought myself when I examined every event listing for any scrap of detail with which to prepare myself. Alex Hirsch is the creator of one of the most beloved modern Disney cartoons, and his fanbase had only increased and been given new life after the publication of his new book. And yet there was no way to reserve a spot in his two signings? I only hoped that NYCC knew what they were doing.
Thursday arrived, and so did I at the Javits Center in my Bipper cosplay. I arrived at around 11:30 AM, and the Thursday signing was at 3 PM, so I spent a couple of hours walking around the show floor, buying expensive One Piece merch, and taking pictures with the Duolingo owl. I headed down to line up for the signing at 2 PM, thinking that being there an hour in advance would be enough to secure a spot.
... No, it wasn't.
I arrived at Hall 1A to an in-progress mob of Gravity Falls cosplayers. There were Bills, Dippers, Mabels, Fords, and Grunkle Stans as far as the eye can see, and nearly everyone was holding copies of The Book of Bill. I spotted an AMAZING cosplayer who was dressed as a member of the Church of Ciphertology and holding up a huge foam puppet of Bill. The puppet had ropes connecting its arms with hers so that it looked like she was being puppeted by it. She had been standing by the wall outside the hall, but was now moving into it, and I followed her raised Bill puppet like a guiding beacon.
I was soon in the middle of a sea of costumed people. There wasn't even a semblance of a line here, at least not this far back. Fortunately, we were mostly all nice and united in our love for Gravity Falls, so I didn't experience any pushing or shoving. In fact, I even struck up a lovely conversation with the people in front of me.
Unfortunately, all of us were united in another experience: we had all been caught off-guard at how disastrous this event was turning out.
Most of us had followed the same plan that I had developed: arrive an hour early to get a spot in line. Some of us had been more careful. I later learned from the Ciphertology disciple that she had arrived closer to noon, but had been warned by security that she couldn't actually line up for this event. Lining up would only occur an hour before the signing, at 2 PM. That was why she had been next to the wall when I arrived. She had more right to be at the front than I did, and yet she was only a few feet ahead of me when we entered the mob.
While I didn't interview many other attendees, we quickly formed the hypothesis that this "no lining up before 2 PM" rule was why the mob had formed. Everyone - both the people who had arrived earlier and the newcomers who thought 1 hour was "early" - had rushed to form a line that the NYCC crew members just couldn't create.
We waited there for about 15-20 minutes. Occasionally, a crew member yelled for us to take a big step back (only some of the mob complied) and sometimes we were asked to all raise our copies of The Book of Bill in the air (for a photo? to check who was eligible for the signing? I'm still unsure).
Finally, at around 2:30 PM, we heard a crew member shout, "All right! We've run out of tickets for the signing! The rest of you have to leave!"
This was the wrong phrasing for them to use, because immediately, a number of fans started shouting things along the lines of "What do you MEAN tickets?!" "No one told us we had to have tickets!!!" "How do we get tickets?!"
Because there were only so few NYCC crew members on the floor, the announcement was mostly spread through word of mouth: a number of people at the front of the mob had been given "tickets" (wristbands?) so that they could line up for the signing. They didn't even get close to my part of the mob before they ran out of spots.
I, and so many other people, had to walk away disappointed, hoping that we could at least get into the panel later.
Before I left, I said this to three different NYCC crew members: "Hey, I know that there's another signing tomorrow, and I also have a pass for tomorrow. What should I do so that I don't miss this event?"
Every response I got was a variation on the phrase "I don't know." This is important to remember. I tried my best to learn what to do ahead of time by asking NYCC employees.
Anyway, later that evening was the Alex Hirsch panel at 6:30 PM. After the disappointment from the signing, though, I didn't want to take any chances. After spending an hour for lunch, I headed to the location for the panel at 3:30 PM, 3 hours ahead of time. I saw a NYCC crew member and asked when and where I should wait for the panel to start.
His paraphrased advice: "Listen. There's the room where the panel will be. You take a seat in there now and sit through three panels. That's how you'll have a seat later."
This may sound like cheating, and an unfair thing to do when you consider the people who may actually want to attend the panels before the one you're camping out for, but it wasn't against the rules. Only the Main and Empire stages require the rooms to be turned out for new people between panels. For the other panel rooms, you can camp out in your seat for as long as you want.
So, I followed his advice. I walked to room 406.3 in the middle of a panel about censoring non-fiction comics and found an empty seat.
I was shocked to see just how small the room was. According to the NYCC website, the room can seat about 300 people. That may sound like a lot, until you remember that 1) this is NYCC, which had 200,000 attendees last year, and 2) THIS PANEL IS FOR ALEX HIRSCH. I couldn't help but think of the mob I saw earlier, and just how many of those people wouldn't be able to fit into this room.
When I sat down during the censorship panel, the room was only about half full, and I saw two other Gravity Falls cosplayers already. After that panel, I walked to the front and took a seat in the third row (later, I even managed to move up to the second row, so I had a very good view).
An hour later (about 4:30 PM), the room was almost entirely full with a crowd that was almost entirely Gravity Falls fans. An hour after that (5:30 PM), the room was absolutely full, and we had already gotten word (and pictures) from people on the outside that there was a line of hopeful latecomers stretching around the floor.
One odd memory I have from around this point was when a woman showed up at the front of the room and addressed a bunch of us in general, saying "Hi, I'm from Disney. Are there six seats that I can have?"
All of the people near her (including myself) shot her looks and muttered replies along the lines of "Hell, no." She didn't further explain what she meant or provide any credentials, so I have no idea why she expected to get so many seats at once or what she needed them for.
I'll skip past the rest of the evening, as the panel was largely a nice time after that. I sat next to some really kind, awesome people who were great to talk to and share art with between panels, Alex Hirsch (as well as Joe Pitt and Ian Worrel, of course!) shared great stories, and I got to witness the awesome Ciphertologist cosplayer win a Bill Cipher Ouija board. It was a nice way to make up for missing the signing earlier, and I'm glad I was able to attend.
... and yet, not only did I still feel a sting of guilt about the hundreds of other fans who couldn't attend, but I couldn't stop thinking about something I discussed with the other fans I sat with: even the lucky fans who attended the panel were only able to do so because we spent hours of our con-going experience sitting through panels we wouldn't have otherwise chosen to attend. The panels were interesting in their own right, but that wasn't the point.
It's not cheap to attend NYCC. At around $80 a day (if you didn't buy a 4-day pass), time is money. There could be other panels that pertain to our interests happening during the waiting time. Guests that we might've wanted to get photos or autographs with. An entire show floor to explore. Merch to buy. Many of us only realized that we'd have to wait this long in one room earlier that day. We hadn't properly prepared for the fact that - new friendships and fun between-panel conversations aside - this time was practically wasted.
Don't get me wrong: I'm so happy I managed to attend the panel, and I'm glad I had the time to talk to such lovely people. But this wasn't fair to us as con-goers, and it especially wasn't fair to the con-goers who couldn't get in the signing OR the panel, or who were only able to get a ticket for Thursday and couldn't spend more time doing what they wanted at the convention on another day.
Speaking of the next day: I was determined to get a personalized signing from Alex Hirsch on Friday. That day, the signing started at 1:30 PM. Keeping the "no lining up before an hour ahead" rule in mind, I decided I'd arrive two hours before at 11:30 PM. Not far enough in advance to absolutely antagonize security, but hopefully far enough to scope out the scene and join other fans in making a game-plan for when and how to line up.
I arrived at Hall 1A at 11:30 only to learn that the signing tickets (which were now confirmed to be wristbands) had LONG since run out.
From what I gathered from other fans and NYCC crew members, the convention decided that the first come, first serve model would begin from the moment the convention opened that day (I think 10 AM?). Gravity Falls fans could stop by and get wrist bands for the signing until they ran out, which they did QUICKLY. Apparently, they gave out even fewer spots than on Thursday.
I definitely feel that the issue here wasn't me not thinking of getting there right as the doors opened. The fans were given one set of rules on Thursday, and just as it had been spread through word of mouth, they were changed the next day with basically no notice (apparently, some fans heard more info from staff members, but this was irregular). There was no formal announcement about the new wristband distribution, which meant there was no way for fans to know about this unless they showed up as early as possible, which was established to be a bad thing for the signing just the day before. And this is on top of me asking NYCC employees what I should do to not miss my chance at a signing! Either they changed the rules last minute, or the NYCC workers I spoke to really weren't told a thing by the convention planners.
I, and many other people, were rightfully pissed off to lose our last chance at getting a personalized autograph from Alex Hirsch.
There was one silver lining, though, that kept the day from feeling ruined. The signing was scheduled to go from 1:30-3:00. At 2:30, I decided to head to the signing just to wistfully stare at Alex Hirsch from the Barnes & Noble booth. I had a good view and stared wistfully away next to a few other fans who had hoped (in vain) that extra people could be squeezed in for the signing.
Then, after everyone with wristbands got their books signed and about 5-10 minutes before the signing was totally over, Hirsch, Pitt, and Worrel were handed a couple stacks of The Book of Bill from the Barnes & Noble booth. They quickly signed the stacks, then left.
To our delight, the employees came over to the lingering fans who weren't able to get wristbands and started passing out the copies. So I did end Friday with a signed copy of The Book of Bill! I also got a couple of sticker sheets that were being given out during the signing, which is nice. The waiting around was worth it.
Even so, that doesn't fully make up for just how disastrously the events were handled. This wasn't a case of fans not being in the know about how conventions are run. This was fully caused by NYCC either not knowing or not caring just how big of a crowd Alex Hirsch would draw. They dangled the chance of first come, first serve autographs to hundreds of people without providing the best guidelines on how to obtain them. They reserved a panel room that wasn't nearly large enough and didn't consider the implications of seat-camping. It was a nightmare.
Hopefully, you appreciated my dramatic retelling of these events. The moral of this story is: don't assume that just because NYCC is one of the biggest conventions in the country that it is guaranteed to competently run all of its events. They can mess up.

Marks POV: Oh wow. They really do hate me. I've just been introduced to a club called 'Nurses United Against Mark Sloan' I thought they liked the sex? Oh well, I have my eyes on one nurse and one nurse only. Y/n y/l/n. She's beautiful and amazing with patients, double whammy. Rumour had it she's single as well so, I'm gunna try get her to fall for me. Notice how I said fall for me and not get in bed with me? See, I'm a changed man.
As I'm walking to my surgery I see my favourite nurse, y/l/n. Mark - "Hey y/n, quick question your not a part of that club are you? The uhm Nurses Hate Mark Sloan or something?" Y/N - "First of all, it's Nurses United Against Mark Sloan and no, I am not. How could I hate you, come on?" Mark - "See, and that's why your my favourite." Y/N - "Aww, I'm your favourite nurse? How cute." Mark - "Don't be a tease, anyway I've got a surgery to get to but I expect to see you at rounds." Y/N - "Yes Doctor." Mark - "I like it when you call me Doctor." Y/N - "Oh do you?" Mark - "Yeah I do, I really do but, I've got a surgery to get to so, I'll see you at rounds." I flash her a smile before I leave. God, I'm practically in love with a woman i've barley shared 4 full conversations with. This could go wrong.
Y/N POV: I've been feeling a pair of eyes on me all day but I keep brushing it off because I think I know exactly who it is. We've been on and off flirting and stealing glances and touches for weeks now but he never makes a move. In a way i'm glad because hopefully that means he want me, like actually wants me, not just the sex. So, I'm planning on asking him out after rounds and hopefully get a date.
Time skip
I've just finished rounding with Dr. Sloan and now I'm filling out charts trying to get a word in when he's rambling about the surgery he just did. If I'm completely honest, it's adorable. I love seeing him get excited about his job, it shows he cares. Once he realises I'm not really listening he speaks up. Mark - "Okay, I know, not that interesting to you I'll stop talking now." Y/N - "No! Please keep going I just need to ask you something once your finished." Mark - "Is it something about post-op treatment?" Y/N - "No more of a personal question." Mark - "Shoot." Y/N - "Wanna grab a drink at Joe's after your shift?" His face went through the five stages of grief in 5 seconds I swear. He looked shocked at first but then more confused and then just really happy. Like smiling ear to ear happy. Now he's just got a smug smirk plastered across his face. Mark - "You want to go out with me? Like get in my pants?" Y/N "No, like an actual date. If you want to of course just because we've been kinda close these past couple weeks and you know I just thought maybe you might wanna go." As I was rambling and trying to explain myself he put his hand on my arm to calm me down. Mark - "Hey, hey, hey slow down. I didn't say no did I?" At this point I was the one grinning like an idiot. I looked deep into his eyes looking for any signs that he was lying but I found none. He pulled me into his warm embrace and I just stood there for a bit with his arms wrapped around my torso and my head in his chest. He pulled away slightly so he could see my face. Mark - "You're cute when you're nervous. My shift finishes in 10, I'll meet you in the lobby?" Y/N - "Of course."
I walked to the locker room beaming. I really just got a date with McSteamy. At that point I didn't realise this but, that man was a smitten kitten and would ask me to marry him one day. I love Mark, my Mark.

can you write a jason schmidt x reader story :)
Reader goes to college in California so she has not been able to see him perform in the outsiders and that of course makes him sad but he understands until one day she decides to surprise him and he sees her when he is doing stage door.
if not i understand!! thank youuuu :)
Authors Note: yes ofcc anon! im a little hesitant to write and post this because i know how people are when it comes to writing about real actors and celebrities. im a little scared cause the other day i got some really degrading messages for the brody fic but, i think ill be okay because I have posted more than 5 Dan Berry fics sooo
I’m Here
Jason Schmidt x fem!reader
I didn’t want to leave New York, I love that place with all my heart. But I knew if i was gonna go to college, it had to be out of state. I wanted more than just tall skyscrapers and noisy streets. I wanted more space, and to meet new people. So when i opened my acceptance email from CSUN, i was thrilled. But then, i remembered that I’d be leaving Jason. Before previews for The Outsiders.
Now, i was second guessing my decision. But it was already too late. My bags were packed and the ticket was booked, I’d be staying at the dorms they have over there. It’s gonna be hard. The busy schedules and different time zones, we’d barely have time for each other.
But i was determined to make it work. I would stay faithful and keep Jason in my heart. All i could do was hope that he did the same. Which he did. We would call every chance we got, to which we always expressed our feelings and how much we missed each other. Which was enough to keep me going, but recently, I’ve been missing him more. Way more than I should be.
So, i booked a ticket and packed my bags for a week. I was going back to New York to see Jason.
It was around 4 am when i left, my flight left at 7. I made it on time and bordered my flight, which i never thought I’d be able to do alone because i hate flying.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After about 5 hours and 30 minutes later, I made it back to New York. Back home. I was able to get a very last minute ticket to tonights show, so I quickly dropped my stuff off at a hotel and made my way to the theater. Where I would see Jason again.
Yes it has only been a few months, but you can't blame me for missing my boyfriend. You'd feel the same.
I got to the theater, giving the usher my ticket. He handed me a playbill and escorted me to my seat. A few minutes later, the show started.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The show was amazing, everything I had expected it to be. Jason's singing and acting..Gosh it just blew me away. I have never been so proud of someone like that before. Jason was one of the most talented people I've ever known, and I'm glad he's my boyfriend.
Once the show ended, I quickly made my way to the stage door. Jason's friends/coworkers slowly began coming out. Emma Pittman remembered me, and pointed me out to Brent Comer, who smiled and hugged me over the barricade.
"Jason's gonna be so happy to see you, he misses you like crazy." He said, patting your shoulder before moving on to the next person.
Daryl Tofa, also remembered me.
"Yooo, y/n/n! Oh my gosh, it's so good to see you" Daryl said, hugging me over the barricade, just like Brent and Emma had done. I smiled, hugging him in return.
"I think Jason's comin' out right no-" He was cut off by the sound of the stage door opening and the fans at the barricade screaming. Me and Daryl both looked and saw Jason, who was ready to sign a load of playbills.
However, when he turned his head and saw me, everything changed. Daryl backed away as Jason practically ran up to me, hugging me tightly against the barricade. I hugged him back, despite the slight pain that came from the metal bars being pressed against me.
Jason seemed to notice this, and held onto me tightly, pulling me up and over the barricade with the help of Daryl. He put me down on the floor, hugging me tightly as tears came to my eyes. I of course hugged him back, not really caring if the girls at the barricade were recording this interaction.
"I'm here Jason..I'm here"

"ᵀᴴᴱ ᴺᴵᴳᴴᵀ ᵂᴱ ᴹᴱᵀ"
Rengoku Kyojuro x F!Hashira!Reader
Genre: literally just angst.
Word Count: 718
Warnings: Major Character Death, grief, depression, 1(one) mention of a miscarriage, talks of future death, please do not read if you're in a fragile state of mind. I am not responsible for the media you consume. read at your own risk.
Desc: The 7 stages of grief. It seems like I'm stuck on stage 4 and yet...I'm not.
Note: The way people process death varies from person to person. I know not many people have experienced that. I mean, you wouldn't want to. I, myself, have never truly processed that my grandpa is gone. I went from going to bed one night to being woken up by mom crying and telling my brother and I to give our grandpa love. Next thing I know is we have him being loaded into the back of a hearse and seeing him in a casket. We moved a year later and I guess since I was going into the 8th grade in a new state, I didn't have time to think and process. I was stuck in stage 4 for years. I've come to learn that, while I do miss him, I'm glad that he still managed to teach me something. That death could happen at any time and to anyone. It does not matter how strong they are or if they are young or old. Death takes when it is their time. I hope to the people who are or have gone through something similar: you are not alone. Yes, it's scary but it does get better. They are watching you and guiding you. You may not see them but that doesn't mean they aren't there.
It's like seeing everything from someone else's eyes. Your thoughts don't feel like your own. Your body is on autopilot.
Grief. People say that there are seven stages that your brain goes through. The first is denial. When I had received the news of my husband's death, I couldn't, no, wouldn't, believe it. There was just no way that the kindest and strongest human I knew, was dead. Then that boy, Tanjiro, came. He told us Kyojuro's last words.
Next was anger. The anger I felt towards the demon who took the life from my husband was easily seen on my face. I wanted so badly to just search search for this thing. Senjuro was quick to talk me out of it but that does not mean the feeling went away. I also hate to admit that I felt anger towards Kyojuro. How could he just leave us like this? Leave me and Senjuro alone. Our baby...
Bargaining. If I wasn't pregnant, I could have gone on the mission. I could have saved him. If I told him about the baby then maybe he wouldn't have left. He would've stayed and Kagaya could've sent another hashira instead. Maybe...
Depression likes to creep up on its victims. It slowly wraps itself around your brain and then constricts. When Senjuro pointed out how I didn't act like myself anymore, I knew then that depression had sunk its claws into me. My body moved on autopilot. Wake up, eat, sit at Kyojuro's grave, sleep, repeat. Senjuro made sure I took care of myself. Made sure I went to Shinobu's for baby check-ups. She told me how surprised she was that I haven't lost the baby from all the stress I'm under. She proceeded to tell me that it's probably because their father is Kyojuro so they're a fighter.
Shinjuro stopped drinking. He hasn't had a drop since the news. He helps Senjuro around the house and forces me to eat. He's worried about me. Senjuro as well.
I've been told that I talk in my sleep now. That I always cry. I've woken up to the two standing over me with concern and worry written on their faces.
Acceptance. I don't think I will ever accept his death. Accept that he is gone. He will never know about his child. That he was going to be a father. I remember how he used to tell me about what he wanted in his future. No demons, a nice house in the country, and kids. Of course, his vision was us with 10 kids but I talked him into having at least 4. He wanted all girls and I wanted equal number boys and girls.
I don't plan to court another. I don't plan to remarry. I don't think I could ever love another. Not as much as I love Kyojuro. While my friends want me to move on, to find someone who will help take care of my child, I just can't. Kyojuro will always be my child's father. I'll paint pictures so they know what he looked like. Tell them stories about the battles he fought in. I want them to know that their father loves them and is always watching over them.
The story of how Kyojuro and I met will be a story they will come to cherish. Maybe...this is hope?
Processing grief is the last step. I feel like I am stuck on step four. Shinobu says that while depression may be constant in my mind, I have processed my grief. It may have been processed differently, I have come to accept that Kyojuro is gone.
"I love you, Kyojuro. While you may not be here physically, I know that you are up there. You are waiting to see your child be brought into this world and live knowing that you love them and that you will guide them. When they are born, I will be called back onto missions. The fight with Muzan is closer than we think... and I hope to live to see our child grow but... I know that might not happen and you and I will be reunited sooner than we'd like."
I got up slowly, hand on my belly, and left a single flower upon the stone.
A blue spider lily.
Kyojuro would definitely have more than 10 kids if he could. He wants his own personal army so he can antagonize Sanemi. He'll spread them out evenly amongst the hashira when they need babysitters. a majority go to Uzui and his wives mainly because the wives adore the kids and they band together to pull pranks on Uzui. Mitsuri makes a comment about finding a husband and having kids which about kills Obanai. Shinobu is worried about you but you wave her off saying it makes him happy and you'd do whatever you could to make Kyojuro happy considering he almost died during his last mission(mugen train). Muichiro is definitely intrigued with the set of twins you had at one point. Giyuu actually cracks a smile when he sees 5 tiny Rengoku's climbing on Sanemi like he's a tree.

Music of my Soul - Chapter 4: It's Over till it's Not

“I’m so glad you joined us on this tour you truly don't know how much it means to me.” Chris told me as we were chilling in the greenroom before the concert. He was scrolling on his phone and I was putting on my make-up.
“You tell me every day before we go onstage Chris.” I teased him. I put the finishing touches on my look before moving over to sit next to him and do his. He set his phone aside and faced me.
“I know. I just want you to know. Plus we really like having you perform with us.” He blushed.
“Awe, no need to get shy Chrissy. I know I’m amazing.” I giggled.
“Shut up dork.” He mumbled.
“Motionless to the stage.” I patted Chris’ face one more time with the setting powder and we stood up. I gave Bryan a high five on my way to the stage before grabbing the first guitar for the show. I grinned seeing how nicely Matt had polished it as it glistened in the stage lights. We started off strong with Meltdown followed by Headache and Sign of Life. After that Chris addressed the crowd for a bit, allowing me to swap out my guitar real quick. I took the white one and adjusted the straps.
“Thanks Matt.” I said as he helped me even it out. We played Another Life, Not My Type and Thoughts and Prayers before it was time for me to swap again. I went to grab the guitar and gasped when I saw who was in front of me. “Ricky. What are you doing here?” I whispered.
“I got back early.” He shrugged. “Go, you have a show to perform.” He shoved the guitar in my hand and I stumbled back onto the stage, glancing briefly at the setlist to remind me what song we were on. The opening notes of Nothing Ever After started playing and tears pricked my eyes.
“We’re falling apart. We’re fading away. Pretending the damage doesn't matter. Ignoring the scars, But now its ok. We’ll settle for nothing ever after. And slip away.” Chris sang. I barely got through the song and unfortunately he noticed, coming over to check on me.
“Hey, what's wrong?” He asked softly, removing his in-ear so he could hear me better. I shook my head and tried to look away but his tattooed hand grabbed my chin and forced me to look up at him.
“The wing.” I mumbled. He glanced back and his eyes went wide.
“Ricky’s back?”
“Yeah. It’s been wonderful working with you.” I forced a grin. I stepped back as the notes for the next song started playing which was conveniently City Lights.
“I’m lost without you here. For the last time. We bleed ourselves dry tonight.” He looked upset and worried but whats done was done. I was only a hired guitar for the time Ricky was gone. When the concert was over I shoved the guitar in Rickys hand and made a beeline for the bus. I threw my things haphazardly in my duffle bag and went to leave but a tattooed hand caged me in the back hall.
“You were just going to leave without saying goodbye?” Chris asked with a waver in his voice.
“Chris-”
“No! That isn't fair to Bryan. To the band. To me!” He snapped in a frustrated tone.
“There is no place for me in your band Christopher. I’m a temp.” I huffed, trying to push my way past him but he was a lot bigger than me so I couldn't budge him.
“Yes there is! I was going to ask you to be our keyboard player!” He yelled, startling me and making me take a step back.
“What?”
“We all talked about it. We want you to stay on permanently as our keyboardist. Plus adding a keyboard fills out our sound again.” He told me.
“You're serious.” I whispered.
“Of course I am! I always am when it comes to you.” He huffed in annoyance.
“Why?” I couldn't wrap my head around what he was saying.
“Because I like you! Is that so hard to believe?”
“You like me?”
“Jesus I wouldn't have kissed you if I didn't.” He laughed almost mockingly.
“But we never talked about it. Plus seconds beforehand you were telling me how I shouldn’t date people I tour with.”
“Because I was jealous!” I started laughing, making a hurt expression cross his face.
“Chris, I like you too, you absolutely adorable fool.” A puppy like grin graced his face and he launched forward claiming my mouth in a kiss. I gripped the sides of his shirt and kissed back as best I could. “So can I still be your keyboardist?”
“Fuck yes. Now unpack your things before I do it myself.” He demanded.
“Yes Sir.” I giggled, saluting him. Together we started putting my things back in my drawer. “I don't have half the stuff I need for the keyboard though.” I murmured as an afterthought.
“Don't worry. We’ll get it overnighted to the next venue. By our next performance you’ll have it.” He promised, looping his arms around my waist.
“Thank you Chris. Truly.”
“Of course. It’s not a big deal.” He blushed.
“It is to me. If it weren’t for you I wouldn't even be here.”
“Well I’m glad you are.” I put the last articles of clothes into the drawer and we moved up front right as the rest of the crew started filing into the bus.
“Hey Koda! You disappeared after the concert. Did you say yes to being our keyboardist?” Vinny asked.
“Yeah, I did.” I confirmed and grinned at the whoops and hollers from everyone present. Even Ricky had a massive grin on his face.

how was the great gatsby musical?
overall, one of my favorite theatre experiences. to the level that i have been looping the cast recording nonstop since it came out last week
i do have a lot of specific points that i could talk So Long about with this show, most of which i'll put under a read more, but first: casting
anyway. spoilers for the great gatsby musical (things that were changed from the book for the production)
the 'main four' being Jeremy Jordan, Noah J Ricketts, Eva Noblezada, and Samantha Pauly, were all absolutely incredible. show stopping in their own ways. i was genuinely so scared that when i saw it that any of these 4 wouldn't be on, but i got so lucky and all of them were!! i am 100% convinced that many of the songs were written just to showcase certain actors voices (jeremy jordan).
let me tell you. getting to see jeremy jordan and eva noblezada live was unlike anything i've ever seen before. i was like. genuinely honored to be there. their stage presence, their voices, their acting ability, oh man... and Samantha Pauly was just incredible, and her big number was so. show stopping. Noah J. Ricketts was amazing the whole time, but his emotion in finale as he was saying the lines that are basically quoted exactly from the book... yeah i cried.
but so many other actors were also so amazing! John Zdrojeski as Tom was so good at the role, because Tom really was genuinely awful, but not in like an evil villain way, because he's much more realistic than that. i also find that a lot of times Tom is kinda seen as stupid or whatever for not noticing a lot of things going around him but in the musical he really like. could tell what was going on. and he worked his way into finding out secrets (kinda more on this later bc of my favorite song)
another main this was just. the design. Linda Cho costumes MY BELOVED im so glad she won the tony because this show DESERVED IT. it was definitely a glorified image of what those 1920s outfits would actually be, but most musical theatre isn't meant to be an exact replica of history, it's meant to dramatize it, and Linda Cho understands the assignment when it comes to costumes. the lighting and scenic design were also just incredible, especially their use of the green light shining from across the bay...
the show started out with Gatsby onstage, reaching for the green light. a set piece is moved across the stage, passing in front of him, Nick standing where Gatsby was. within that moment i was like "if they don't end the show with Nick standing there, the set piece passing in front, and leaving Gatsby behind, reaching for the green light, then what is the POINT" and then they DID and it was just as great as i'd imagined.
there were definitely changes to the story to adapt it to the stage, which i actually enjoyed (i've read the book, but didn't love it mostly due to a bad experience with reading it in school so. yeah). it is kinda more romance-centric in the first act, which i have heard people complain about, but i kinda see reasoning for it. yes, the first act is very much centered around the various relationships (especially the romantic ones), and in the second act, while certain characters (mostly gatsby) try to keep it centered on the romance, there is a much bigger, darker story going on all around them. so i really liked that meta perspective of it.
they also gave a lot more character to mr wilson (idr his first name), effectively intertwining him with both Gatsby and Wolfsheim as he, from the very beginning, plans to move him and Myrtle away from the city (its been a hot sec since i read the book, so idr if that's there but i don't think it is).
the relationship between Nick and Jordan is also taken a lot further in the musical, to the point where they are engaged, but after Myrtle's death, it gets broken off. this is because, in this version, Jordan ends up lumped in with both Tom and Daisy, in with the old money. throughout most of the show she is much more aware of society and doesn't want any part of what her role 'should' be, but when things go south, she is just as quick as the others to abandon what's 'right' in favor of what's better for her. and ik some people might not like that change but i actually did.
Myrtles character is also taken a lot further in this, which i find really fascinating. she is given her own big number right before her death as she tried to go after Tom, saying that he'll leave Daisy and marry her instead, but then she realizes she'll become just like Daisy in that situation, and the only choice is 'love or money.' she eventually decides that she wants to go back to her husband, and the moment she turns back, she is killed. this was Such a big number and, looking back, might be one of my favorites story-wise.
while i absolutely adored most everything, genuinely, the music was by far my favorite part (besides maybe jeremy jordan and eva noblezada...) a personal thing for me was that Every. Single. Song. has SUCH a good bassline. man i need the sheet music for this show. (side note: i got to talk to the show's bass player for a few minutes after the show! i was super nervous about it but im glad i did. he was super nice)
there's def a mix of more modern showtune styles, along with bringing in a lot of jazzy elements, which was GREAT. i love jazz. like i mentioned before, certain songs were definitely written for actor's voices (Past is Catching Up to Me) which is absolutely not a bad thing because they were AMAZING
two of my favorite songs were 'Only Tea' and 'Made to Last.'
only tea is when Gatsby is stressing about Daisy coming over for tea. this was hilarious. I kid you not jeremy jordan jumped a fence at the end. it was iconic. (you can Feel the nerves in just the cast recording alone).
made to last takes place in the scene in the Plaza. it's mostly Tom, revealing the secrets he learned about how Gatsby got his fortune, then Gatsby trying to get Daisy to tell Tom she doesn't love him. there are So Many Good lines in this song (everyone kinda drags Tom a lot its great) but this is where the characterization of Tom was really just. top notch. because he really is freaking Awful. but he's also smart and not going to let go of what he owns (not good that he considers Daisy a possession though...), and he knows exactly what is going to happen to Gatsby--he's not Made to Last.
(also the song Shady is iconic. spinny tailcoats)
another just. singular line that i need to draw attention to, sung by mr wilson (he has multiple songs directed to the Eyes of God), and this line is right when he decides to go after Gatsby. "God sees everything but he's slow on his commands/You've got the eyes of God, Doc/Who's gonna be his hands?"
(this line is reprised in the middle of Gatsby's song right before the gun goes off. fun fact)
i'm sure there are So Many Other Things i could talk about (i s2g i could write 13 essays about this show) but in general like. while it wasn't groundbreaking to the theatre, it was still Such a good show and absolutely deserves better yknow. attention then it's getting. like jeremy jordan is here for a Reason this is a Good show. and mostly this is my begging people to listen to the cast recoding because its SO GOOD.
anyway. if anyone has questions about specific things i am So Happy to talk but here's a lot of my more general thoughts... (god i haven't even Talked about Eric Anderson as Wolfsheim...)
#constance answers#asks#the great gatsby#the great gatsby musical#i brought my flapper dress to new york just to wear to this show and it was Worth it#i did not stage door because i knew it was gonna be crazy but its ok because i talked to the bass player instead.#also i enjoyed sitting next to my mom during this show. because she didn't know the story pretty much at All.#so during intermission she said to me 'i don't know what but i feel like something bad is going to happen. this is too happy'#and i tried to get her to guess What would happen but she didn't.#and then watching the end... everything from myrtle dying all the way to the murder/suicide...#lets just say it took her until After that to realize that the edge of the stage was decorated to look like a pool#it is idk how late at night rn so sorry if this is not at all coherent#one more thing: the shirt i bought from this show is the best musical shirt i have Ever owned. its so pretty

He’d requested that if Space Wolves, those vile barbarians were in the area, that he doesn’t have to deal with them. Especially since those bastards destroyed Prospero, unjustly. Imhoden had been one of the Sorcerer Kings of Prospero who rose up in defiance against the Space Wolves hunting.
Hearing how his father had died at the hands of the Barbarian Wolf King burned a rage fierce in his hearts that had been difficult to quell. But he had managed to calm down enough to not set himself sparking with rage. Using the Warp was very, very difficult now, and the cost of energy was higher than he was used to it being.
He carefully joins a group of Loyalist Thousand Sons, all of them from various points in the Imperium’s history. They were trying to figure out how they got here, and if there was a way to get back to where they had come from. Even if they did manage to do so, could they, would they remember what they learned when they had come to Ancient Terra.
Time paradoxes, as well as Time Loops and the potential for setting Alternate Timelines were all discussed among this band of brothers, and their fellow cousins who have the knowledge of learned scholars and mastery of the Warp.
Hearing of the Ordo that helps manage and maintain the timeline, sending their agents to ensure The Holy Timeline (whatever that means to make sure that things don’t go off course) seems… almost insane.
Also, while that Ordo hasn’t been formed yet, they could have agents in this time, or nearby monitoring the flow of time and see if there were ‘unholy’ branches that started to bud, and they would destroy that which didn’t fit their narrow world view of What Was The Right Time Line.
And some baseline humans called his Legion Arrogant. To think that one could control Time itself and the flow into the Proper Time, sounded absolutely arrogant and the height of stupid foolishness that would only end in tragedy that none would remember and potential tragic hilarity. For all creatures are subjected to Time, for its cruel grasp, that and Death are the only two real certainties.
One of the times that Imhoden was out gathering some supplies, he hears a voice that he can barely recognize. He turns and sees one of the Chaos Marines- in Colors of post-Heresy Thousand Sons. His hearts sink and his eyes widen when he realizes just who it was that was calling out to him.
One of those who’d survived the burning of Prospero and the Deal with The Chaos God, who’d survived Ahriman’s destruction of the Thousand Sons into ‘curing’ the Flesh Change.
“Janus?” Imhoden gasps out. No- his brother- one of his dearest friends in the Thousand Sons. One of the brothers whom had been with him since the very beginning stages of him becoming a Space Marine of the Thousand Sons was. Had fallen.
“You look just how you did,” Janus says stunned as he peers down at his smaller and now younger brother, “I’m glad that you survived the Burning of Prospero, even though it meant your arrival here.”
“For me, the Burning of Prosper has only been a few months,” Imhoden says.
“For me it’s been nearly ten thousand years,” Janus says, before smirking at him, “You are now the little brother.”
Imhoden groans at that, they had been almost born and started their Aspirant training on the near same day. So arguing over who was older and who was younger was something that they’d teasingly done all throughout their lives.
“Janus, no,” Imhoden says with an annoyed groan.
“Janus, yes.” Janus warbled back with a cackle. “I’ve missed you Odi, so much.”
