So Ford has planned several ways to prevent Stan and Carla's marriage, Some were really just his darkest desires like Killing Carla or kidnapping Stanley and run away from Glass Shard Beach together but unfortunately that could only happen in his head. As much as he wanted some kind of Revenge for having been fully ignored by Stan he needed to try his best to keep the image of a smart and good man for his brother so he had to go to the logical way.

Ok, he couldn't tell stan he knew he could get pregnant and he did it on purpose, but maybe he could make Stanley find out on his own! Stan usually doesn't think it twice before acting anyway so he was sure there must be a gap that would be the proof that Carla couldn't be the kid's mom. Even tho he needed to recollect information..

It wouldn't be so hard to know the details about Stan's pregnancy, after all Ford was a creep who wrote about his encounters with Stan in his personal journal and according to his calculations Stan must be around 7 to 8 weeks pregnant, Next step was doing something he didn't wanted to know but he must do it in the name of science. He knew that Stanley wasn't a virgin before they had their first time together but it was part of those things he preferred to ignore their existence, just the simple idea of hearing when did his beautiful brother gave his body to another person make him want to throw up but he needed to make sure there wasn't any possibility their baby would be Carla's and if everythings went as planned, Make Stanley realised too!

And hopefully Carla would learn about that too and leave him for trying to baby-trapped her into marriage! He felt a bit bad of having to ruin the beautiful smile stan had by just thinking about marrying what he thought was the mother of his kid, but it was for a good cause!

Ford was the best option for stanley, he was the real father of his kid. Nobody, ever, could make stan as happy as he could...

If stan was going to marry someone, that should be him.

Well, I think Ortho would be upset, but kinda happy for Vil. It’s bittersweet. He loved hanging out with him and was looking forward to their little chats every day, but he knew that Vil’s place wasn’t behind bars. I mean, technically it absolutely was, because Vil is a criminal, but Ortho saw Vil as an actor first and foremost, and he kind of wanted him to be free + to see him on a big screen again. The latter thing is kind of naive of him lol

If Ortho really wanted, he could’ve found Vil within an hour after his escape. But with the relationship they formed, he’s likely to mess with the search instead, preventing people from finding him. Breaking the law and defying his programming in the name of love 😔

But he’ll still be upset, sigh a lot and complain to Idia about how much he misses Vil :( Your little brother experienced a heartbreak for the first time, Idia…

Floyd won’t rat on him, but it’s because he really enjoys seeing Sea Snake get so nervous… or maybe he’ll make Jamil buy his silence~ Floyd also never lets Jamil sleep in general: he is verrrry friendly. And talkative!

Lilia would be someone to get into the isolated secured cell from time to time due to disobedience; just because he felt like having fun that day lol He would look gorgeous in a straitjacket. But that’s not always the case.

I feel like Rollo would constantly be in a straitjacket though, he is the “don’t give him anything flammable or anything at all for that matter” type of guy lol

Floyd could’ve also ended up in a secured and isolated cell, but Azul works hard on not letting it happen: he had to bribe someone to keep Floyd easy to bail out whenever it’s needed + Floyd would be kind of useless if he couldn’t get around the prison and do his mission (if he has one).

I always think about his conversation with Crimson Muscle in ch6, but also his conversation with him in Idia’s vignette, both of these feel like great examples of how Idia acts when he has a crush on someone. But this is a crush in its purest form: he trusts Lilia, he is comfortable enough around him not to openly confess of course, but to at least express how he feels about him. He gets giggly and happy, it’s almost like you can feel the butterflies he has in his stomach when you look at him. But he is still shy and awkward and anxious that he would say something wrong or that he said too much and annoyed his crush, but yet he is very eager to share his favourite things with him and spend as much time with him as possible… he is almost 100% emotionally domesticated by Lilia, this is why he is such a kitten when he talks to him online.

Eye-to-eye though, I feel like Idia is a bit of a tsundere lol If you know, you know, but for some people it’s kind of subtle. I feel like Idia’s love language is quality time, so his go-to is to share his favourite things with the person. That’s why he brings games to play with Azul and brings music to him, granted, he doesn’t probably even think that he has a crush on Azul – it’s kind of complicated between them, but he clearly wants to get closer to him… sometimes. For some, it would be an obvious sign of Idia showing interest. For Azul it’s just Idia being Idia lol He is a little slow when it comes to crushes.

Now, if someone had a crush on Idia, he would absolutely be in denial about that. He would refuse to even consider the possibility that this is someone’s earnest feeling and that they are serious about being drawn to him. Idia can’t really imagine someone having an actual crush on him, so he wouldn’t be ready. Even if it makes total sense and he felt it even before the confession (and he could have, because Idia is actually quite good at detecting these things), he would probably feel the urge to make fun of either himself or that person because wow you have terrible taste. It’s difficult with Idia, so thank god all of his potential boyfriends are very stubborn.

Dream Festival Part 1 (in which I wrote a long review of my problems with the series before finishing the first part and then some final closing thoughts)

I’m not done with the series, just finished episode 10 and need to watch the second season. Which surprises me that they even have a second season. They either actually did sell well/okay enough or it was already planned to have two seasons. 

Anyway, I’m under the belief that the target audience for the series is towards the younger side (5-8) because of the series writing. I’m no stranger to children targeted shows that sometimes things just happen and you’re just supposed to accept it. Like certain situations are only deep if you’re five years old. Iunno

I didn’t quiet like how Kurofune just started up like that. The way Kuroishi was acting after getting rejected at DF Productions for being a solo, made it seem like he had an idea of who to look for to be a partner. But it’s framed in the way that he just met Keigo. Maybe I just don’t care for them, or we could have seen a bit more of them forming a duo unit, but I don’t like them as a rival to the main group. I would have liked more from Shin and Keigo and maybe if they want to expand on Junya vs Kuroishi, but from what we’ve been given, they’re just an obstacle to be an obstacle. We don’t really see how they’re “better” than the other units.

Also the Itsuki episode. The problem itself is fine, his struggle with both working as an idol and going to college. I just thought it was a bit strange to focus on his relationship with Junya at that point. I didn’t think the two were particularly close, even if Junya gives Itsuki hair ruffles. Was the hair ruffles supposed to come off as “demeaning”, and why Itsuki thought Junya looked down on him? I think their relationship could be something interesting, where they are both hard workers but one feels inferior for not following the same path. I like that Junya recognizes Itsuki, that they’re both hard workers and work to be who they want to be. 

Anyway I know the intentions they had while writing the ep, I’m seeing it with my goggles, but imo it felt a little out of left field. Maybe we could have had more moments of Junya with Itsuki and Chizu hanging out because we mostly saw Junya hanging out with Shin and later Kanade. I think we see Kanade with Itsuki more.

Also the episode with the nation wide mall tour. I know what they were going for, that they can attract a different audience, be closer to the normie people, bring smiles to children and grammas. But then the Kurofune surprise concert happened and they lost their audience but “if they tried hard enough, they can still make it work”. And they made it work. ???  

The same way Kurofune’s “cheers” suddenly got a burst, like how was that even possible. Just being Kuroishi willed it? It only makes sense because we needed TraSig to lose then. 

Like I get the general idea that the DoriKas are a “physical manifestation of their fan’s cheers”, but I don’t get how they can blow it up through their phone. It looks cool though and symbolic but is it like an app or what. Also when DD were doing their mall tour, they had a very small audience in the beginning, I highly doubt the audience had the Dorika Pen lights/cards, so I don’t know how they were able to transform. (I like that they had mishmash outfits showing that the selection pool was small) 

ANYWAY, it’s little things like this that could ruin a series for me, but I think the characters and character relations are carrying. I really loved the Junya going to NYC episode. The shiritori part broke me and then the self reflection training part murdered me 😭

Okay, so I finished the last two episodes of the first part. I still adore the boys but the pacing is pretty fast that things don’t have enough lingering presence for me to actually cherish the moments. It was only one episode where they tracked down Shige-san in the woods AND had Shin’s entire struggle to write lyrics. The feelings are there but I wish I had a little more time to dwell on it. Iunno

Anyway, I like that the DreamFest performance is Pleasure Flag, the song that we’ve become acquainted with because it’s the opening, and in a meta sort of way. (Not me being completely blown away by the Lucky Star finale when their group performance was the Motteke Sailor Fuku) Anyway, that’s the kind of shit I adore, instead of pulling up with an entirely new song or singing The Same song that’s been sung during the series. 

They had small scenes of the Junya vs Kuroishi and Shin and Keigo that I asked for, but I really wished Kurofune either came in earlier, or had a little more scenes in between episodes that’s not just “wow Kurofune is getting really popular”. Maybe they wanted to leave a lot of their mystery for the next season? (Why Kuroishi is doing this, Keigo’s princely persona and  Kuroishi’s hard ass “persona”) I’m not super interested in those two, I’d thought their new composed song would still be more on the edgy side (I7 vs Trigger/ZOOL type differences) but the new song was more on the “Fun Idol Boys” side imo. Anyway, pleasure Flag did deserve to win XP

A little mad that Kinshi finally made an appearance but we don't see them perform at all. I guess they are still The Legendary Group that they have to surpass. Since technically winning DreamFes is just the starting line to Surpass the Saikou. Also I forgot Yuzu was in his own unit with two other dudes that never have a voice. I guess I’d like to see them perform/be people, but I honestly didn’t mind what we go of them from the first part. Focusing mostly on the main group and then the rival group was enough for me. 

Anyway, I guess they already greenlit season 2 by the end of part one, so it was like they planned two seasons. Still, it’s not like the pacing itself was bad but it wasnt great? The steps to get to where they had to made sense and every member of the group had an episode. I’m still not satisfied with it, whether because my suspension of disbelief for certain events is holding me back, or because I actually want more? 

I think starting the first half as Traffic Signal and then forming Dear Dream was a really interesting way to go. Having Junya as the leader instead of the energetic Kanade is one of my favorite decisions. I love Kanade and he is framed as the protagonist of this series, but from the perspective of the group, it only makes sense for Junya to be the leader. He still seems to be the leader in DD but it looks like Kanade is the center, for at least the choreograph of Pleasure Flag. 

Anyway, I lowkey want to rewatch the entire series to make sure I’m not being mean to it before starting season 2. Maybe because my favorite moments were from earlier, but with the knowledge of who the boys are, I want to be a little more acquainted with them.

To answer your questions 😋:

1) While this is an amazing question, I’m not really sure if I have a good answer for you at the moment 😭🙏. Since Belladonna has a secondary element, I’m not really sure how her element came to be since we don’t really get (to my knowledge) an explanation on how the other secondary elements we see in the show came to be. I did have the idea of an ancient sorceress trying to mimic the powers of the first spinjitzu master in order to create her own element and use its powers for mischief, but then accidentally cursing her daughter in the process and resulting in the first user of the sorcery element. If you or anyone else has any suggestions or ideas, feel free to shoot me an ask!! <33

2) Belladonna joined the Ninja the same time that the main 4 became ninjas.

3) Yes, Bella helped out with training little Lloyd. She acted like she hated having to train him but deep down she was glad she could help out and help him develop his skills (it’s lowkey giving proud older sister moment)

Ooo these ones are a little tough since I’m still trying to workshop stuff like this since I just finished designing Bella like a day or two ago LMAO- But to give you an answer she could be around the same power levels as the ninja when she doesn’t give up on herself (in general). Element-wise, she’s average compared to the others because I didn’t think it would be fitting to make her extremely stronger than them since she has a “secondary” element. What I WILL say is that in general Belladonna has really good technique and fighting style for the way she uses her weapon so that kind of makes up for what her elemental powers “lack” (Kind of? idk if lack is the right word to describe it). Not to mention she’s physically very fit, physical strength wise I would say that on a good day she could probably beat Kai in arm wrestling but give up halfway through if she had to go up against Cole (he’d probably still beat her anyways). I know that’s a weird way to show an example of strength comparison but that was the first thing that came to mind 😭🙏

6) Love is a bit of a complicated part of Belladonna’s character (before her character development) because while she does catch feelings, she doesn’t act on them because of the deep rooted insecurity where she once again, believes she’s not worthy. She believes that she is far too flawed and that she’ll taint/ruin the person she loves with her behaviors and bad habits and that those she loves deserve to be with someone better than her. While this all goes on in the inside, on the outside this insecurity is brushed off by her stubborn, tsundere-like (I’m sorry this is the best way I can describe it 😭) exterior. Another reason why love is complicated for Belladonna is because she doesn’t like feeling vulnerable, though that changes as she develops as a character. I know I’m doing all this talk about why Bella doesn’t think she’s worthy of a relationship but SHE does eventually get an official partner after her development. While it’s still being workshopped at the moment, I’m planning on writing a possible poly between Bella, Cole, and Kai called ‘lavaspell’, since I was planning on them being close as kids and then having a ‘what are we?/it’s complicated’ situation when they’re in their older teen years, with their relationship kinda being in limbo until Belladonna has her development (which is most likely gonna be in the way later seasons). Then again, lavaspell’s storyline is still being developed and this could change anytime while I’m writing Belladonna’s main story.

I do not know anything about the novel besides a few snippets I've seen translated, but those are all of scenes we've already seen in the series. And I'm glad for that, because even though the anticipation is killing me, getting spoiled would honestly ruin the whole experience for me (and so close to the end would be heartbreaking).

I have to think that Jojo and the rest of the crew/writers know that adding an ex, particularly at the end of a series, is very common and--imo--is almost always a needless way of stirring up drama. The TopBoeingMew conflict was resolved fairly early in the ep, and I wasn't at all surprised with the way Boeing pursued Sand, but Sand's reaction still bothers me. I take it the writers are using the BoeingSandRay plot to 1) create conflict in SandRay's relationship after they've already resolved their other issues and 2) connect that conflict to Sand personally, seeing as many of the conflicts in SandRay's relationship have been from Ray's side of things.

It's certainly an interesting approach to use Sand's reaction to Boeing as further proof that he doesn't know how to no to people, even those that have hurt him most. While it's true that he didn't reciprocate Boeing's advances or say anything to suggest he was all for them, he also just allowed it to happen. Given what Boeing did to him and the state of his relationship with Ray, I find this behavior just generally odd. It's not entirely out of character, but...it is to some degree.

I'm pleasantly surprised that Nick is portrayed as way less pathetic in his relationship with Boston now. Yes, he was eager to get back with Boston last episode, but he's not groveling at his feet the way he was before. He even expresses hesitation over being in a relationship with Boston when he's going to move away soon. Interested to see if that dynamic will remain consistent or if Boeing will screw things up. (Also, about Cheum, I'm also quite frustrated that she brushes Atom's behavior to the side like it's nothing. Like that was a serious accusation people. Why are we acting like it's nothing??)

I'm glad we got that scene of Top crying to Mew and the discussion of paranoia and distrust in their relationship. I think they've established some healthy communication in the wake of Top's betrayal. This is a personal thing, and it's a valid reaction, but something about Mew's behavior towards Top at the beginning of the episode was incredibly annoying to me. First of all, using Boeing to make Top jealous is just stooping to Top's level, so I'm glad Mew quickly moved on from that. But something about Mew's expressions when talking to Top strike me as so entitled. Mew as a character rubs me the wrong way more often than not, and I'm tempted to say it's all because of that sense of entitlement just ebbing off of him at all times. He's justified in being angry at Top, but every time he's onscreen I can't help but get annoyed.

Prayer circle for happy boyfriends SandRay in the finale!! I'm a bit scared but still hopeful that once this Boeing mess is sorted out, they'll be okay. They were just fine until he came back, which tells me that once he's removed from the situation, they'll go back to being happy and in love. I choose to believe the best. 😊🥲 <3

new list of headcanon (of both lihan and hanpunk) 💯💯

yk what time it isssss yoohoo 🎉

but we starting off w lihan first bc she’s my bbg and i lob her sm

sum tmi abt lihan

her hairstyle is actually a ruined haircut (akutagawa haircut ifykyk) she got at the hair-salon and she decided to just grow them out like that (now she sticks with it bc she smh started liking it 😭)

ngl i feel like lihan would legit be a good singer ??

she’s in a band in her college; she’s the bassist but also the lead singer

she hums and talks to herself A LOT and wouldn’t rly realize that there are people around bc it’s just a habit of hers since little

she spent most of her childhood alone since her and her brother got separated at a very young age (her staying abroad and suhhan going back to their home country)

which leads this to the previous hc (her humming and talking to herself) bc girl just played with her toys and basically had difficulty socializing with others due to instant switch of language and blablabla (ykwim)

she always (and when i say always it’s FOREVER) keeps her headphones on when fighting and almost whenever she goes

her canon event traumatized her sm that after that incident she started fighting with her headphones on bc if she doesn’t, she’ll have panic attacks or breakdowns bc ppl panicking = overwhelming = affects her = reminds her of her brother’s 💀

after getting recruited a month after her first canon event (suhhan 😰) she stayed few days in migs office rotting and and sobbing for hours non stop though it pissed him (i find this kind of funny ngl)

after this incident she would sometimes run away from her universe and make herself at home in migs office bc she just hates being there (he got used to it by now)

she once got caught singing the 4 big guys song while she was just chilling in migs office (she’s a whole joke) and he just stared at her for minutes, considering abt his decision on recruiting her for 0.05 secs (a very embarrassing experience for her)

she works at a kr bbq restaurants and istg after her shift when she goes back to HQ for missions she’s DEAD and on these typa day, she’d drink at least 5 coffees

the thing is coffee barely helps her bc caffeine has no effect on her (she’s addicted)

a mint chocolate chip enjoyer 😋

she’s actually a good cook and enjoys cooking but legit lazy and have no time

she’s a extremely good writer and loves poems, literature, philosophy allat she loves learning new things

but academically REALLY not smart

her personality switches a lot depending with who she is (will make a post abt her relationship with other spider ppl soon)

she hates kids but is somehow good taking care of them ??

actually loves sarcasm and dark humor

my girl is anti social, socially extremely anxious, and tries SO HARD TO AVOID ANY SOCIAL INTERACTIONS.

it’s like so bad to the point that when she goes to convenient stores to buy a drink or a snack wtv and the cashier asks smth she’d just reply with nods 💀💀

this also means that she hates public speaking so as spiderwomen, whenever ppl tried to interview her she’d literally disappear in an instant

hanpunk headcanons 🫶

there’s this time lihan was sent by miguel to bring hobie bc bro has been ghosting everyone and on her first time visiting hobie’s universe and his boat, she literally cleaned his whole house and cooked for him bc she literally couldn’t stand how bro was living like nothing but a fucking human being 😪

main reason lihan avoids hobie is because he’s so intimidating

she actually doesn’t know how to act around him and truuuly, deep down, she hasn’t realized yet and is in denial that she’s fallen HARD ASF FOR HIMMM

the way she dealt with love was by avoiding any kind of interaction bc girl is a hopeless romantic (just like me fr)

after lihan joined the SS she started taking her morning coffee there as a routine (yk the cafeteria or wtv in your imaginations) and SOMEHOW hobie would always cross path with her and he would never just walk past her; bro would RUN TOWARDS HER if he has to, just to sit across her and start yapping and annoy her

and as this happened continuously, it somehow became their usual meeting time which i actually find it cute

bc then on some days when he’s a bit late than the usual time he comes, she’d be looking around the HQ, sipping in her coffee pretending she’s all chill when she’s prob thinking “it’s already past 8:07am.. he usually comes by 8..” while getting all anxious like- AUAGSUSHHAHSHS 💥💥 ITS BEEN ONLY 7 MINUTES GIRLL

ngl i feel like hobie in general would be very cautious when interacting with some people bc (i mentioned this before but) i feel like bro analyzes ppl reallyyyy well

so i feel like he’d be a lot more careful and gentle with lihan, knowing she can be very sensitive and her reactions to things can vary depending her mood and situations

hobie does the talking and lihan DEF listens

it’s super rare for lihan to actually talk talk as in talk about things she likes and whatsoever, but whenever it happens, hobie makes sure to make her feel like she’s heard and he’d actually go real quiet and just listen carefully and take in every words to every gestures and expressions she uses

lihan curses a lot in korean and by now hobie learned some of it so instead of saying the “fu€k” hobie would say “씨발” and lihan would just be like “??????” like when and who did he learn that from ?? obv you dumbass

or like when she sees one of those crazy anomalies during missions and she wants to make a comment abt it hobie would be like “미친놈 (crazy one) fr innit ?” and she’d be speechless bc she’d realize in those moments how repetitively she uses certain words that he actually by now memorized them 😭

hobie would randomly pull out snacks from his pockets bc he gets candies and snacks from kids around the streets 🥹

anw basically he’d just hand those to lihan sometimes after a very tough mission and be like « treat ? » while waving the snack as if she’s a lil puppy with that iconic smug smile just to mess with her

and what’s funny is that girl would be all annoyed and still accept it UAGSJDJS

lihan: always warm hobie: always cold

lihan acts like she’s careless and she doesn’t really pay attention of her surroundings but she actually listens and hears everything; sometimes hobie would be like « geez it’s freezing in here » and lihan would fuxking THROW a hot pack at him and call him « pxssy » to just walk away 😭

they both have their ways of doing those small acts of services to each other and it’d be so obvious to the others while only they be like « pff nah it doesn’t mean anything »

this is all for now and i feel like this list is getting too long so uhhh yeah im sure i have more headcanons but maybe a part 2 sooner or later 😰⁉️

also you said something about unnecessary parts but i haven't read anything that i thought didnt matter to the story, i think it's really more because we only read the chapters when they come out so we can't keep reading to get to the fun part like in a book (which when i sent in that ask i started really thinking about how that conversation with the ic could go and i get why you're scared like the poor girl is going to go through it but it's necessary for better things!). if this was a book i would have definitely finished it in one sitting, it's a really good story i hope you don't doubt that. some chapters could have been grouped together maybe but that would still be the same amount of writing we would just be in chapter 8 instead of 10 idk

also are we getting more mer azzy soon?? he's very cute, i kind of imagine him like those cats that hiss when you get close but still want a pet - 🧶

So a big part of the story that I feel is extremely important, is finding a way to show Azriel still cares about reader despite how sour their relationship is currently? I won’t say what happens because obviously I don’t want to potentially ruin the experience for anyone, but it’s something I’ve had in mind since the second chapter, so I’ve had a lot of time to have it playing around which has definitely contributed to making me scared to write it 🫠

I really think I might make that one just a consecutive chapter? Like without any splits between scenes that has sometimes ended up happening in other parts? I don’t want to speak too much about how I feel about that scene since I really don’t want to give anything away, but yeah, I think the issue will be figuring out what sort of reactions different characters would have, who would act impulsively and who would remember to keep as calm as possible in that scene’s circumstances?
