Oh shit I just had an epiphany. The reason I barely talk in public and on the rare chance that I do, I have to carefully ensure that I'm being perfect polite whilst doing so is because I've gotten screamed at a lot for being rude despite the fact that I never mean to be. The mask I've spent so long cultivating is a fucking defense mechanism.

i get not liking the line but like. it's an intentional mistake and an intentional character choice, and something we'll return to in the future, and that seems like important context to have when talking about the episode.
