and Aziraphale's kneeling down with him, gently placing the sunglasses he just miraculously mended in Crowley's hand.

but Crowley doesn't slip them on immediately, like Aziraphale thought he would. he just looks up, battered and bruised, and takes Aziraphale in, because even after everything he can't help but drink in the sight of him.

and so what if he'll be laying himself bare again? doesn't Aziraphale already know why he's done everything he's done? hasn't he already seen the miserable, fathomless love in Crowley's eyes? he doesn't have the strength to try and hide any of that anyway, not right now, not when everything was almost gone all over again.

and so he holds the glasses in his lap, all walls down. I thought I'd lost you forever, he says softly, looking in his angel's eyes.

Aziraphale cradles his face in both hands, so tenderly it almost hurts. You cannot lose me, not ever, he says. We still have the rest of eternity to spend together, love. and Crowley falls into him, and buries his face in Aziraphale's shoulder, and they hold each other so tight and for so long, he'll think they'll never be able to part again.

NWH AU where Tony's been in a coma this whole time. He still is. But the world thinks he's dead.

One day, Rhodey is in some science place (maybe SI, maybe a community college where he was giving a speech?) and he sees this kid tinkering who looks exactly like Tony Stark. The teen Tony Stark from when he first met him at MIT. Even down to the mannerisms. He goes up and has a brief conversation with this stranger, just curious. Then he leaves.

Unbeknownst to the kid, Peter, Rhodey managed to grab something for a DNA test. The kid just looked too much like his best friend. Like seeing a ghost

When they analyze the DNA, they learn that this kid is in fact Tony's biological son

Rhodey goes back to find the kid, this time bringing Happy. Peter gets to have the super fun conversation where two people who should know him but don't tell him that the person he saw as a father was his actual father, only it's too late

They convince Peter to come with them eventually. And Peter gets the shock of his entire life

Over the next little while, at Tony's bedside, Peter gets to know Morgan (who he would've seen as a sister anyway but this is insane). He also gets reacquainted with Rhodey, Happy, and Pepper, who all admittedly find him a bit sus with how much he seems to know.

But...this is Tony's kid. His son. So they let him be there, let him talk to Tony and hold his hand. 

Finally, finally, Tony wakes up.

And it turns out, being in a coma and thought dead by the entire world, including wizards, makes one exempt from certain magic

Bonus:

As he sits by Tony's bedside, Peter has to grapple with a lot of emotions. One of them is the realization that he was never actually related to Uncle Ben, which makes him feel like his uncle and aunt died for nothing

Pepper helps him through it. Even not knowing him the way she once did, she knows plenty about guilt complexes and chosen family. She assures Peter that he's still a Parker, no matter what, and that his aunt and uncle wouldn't have given him up for the world

Another thing Peter deals with is the fear of Tony waking up and not knowing him. It breaks his heart just thinking about it.

Cue THE most relieving hurt/comfort reunion ever imagined

yeah i think he (rise donnie specifically since that's the papatello i'm working on) would be one of those dads who has a big talk about how he's so strict, about the intense regiment he has his kid on to maximize their development, and he's always the most annoying piece of shit at the PTA meeting. flex brag flex brag

but then his little toddler comes up to him on wobbly legs and puts her hands on his calf, tapping at him for his attention and looks up at him with paint all over her face from where she got into the art supplies at the back of the classroom and made a huge ass mess, and he just melts at her crooked little grin (bc dad is the favorite) and is completely incapable of chastising her in any shape or form

that changes when she grows up and starts to act so much like him that he HAS to be firmer with her. the first time he has to put her in time out they both ugly cry a lot

Tears in the Sunset - Legend is faced with the sucky repercussions of his adventures and Sky helps him realize it’s ok to not be ok

Snow - Wars struggles with a PTSD episode and Wolfie and Twi comfort him and help him through it

Numb - Sky carries the stress and trauma of Twilight’s injury without ever realizing or acknowledging it, busying himself with helping everyone else, until it catches up to him all at once.

Dawn - My own take on a resolution for the Sunset arc which surprisingly is frighteningly similar to what actually happened 🤣 Wars is stressed, Sky makes sure he gets some rest, Twi surprises everyone and insists he’s “not dead yet, getting better actually,” and Twi and Wars have chaotic hijinks to make sure neither of them are grilled alive by Time. Brotherly insanity and bonding all around.

Surf’s Up! Legend gets dragged into hijinks with the knights, including sparring and shield surfing. Warriors is a sore loser, Legend is grumpy, Sky is a speed demon, and Wild and Sky should never be left alone together. Fluff and fun :)

Beautiful - Twi’s feeling down, Wars comforts him, and teases him as all good brothers should. Also Time is a Dad.
