Joshua has noticed how Clive was disturbed since he heard about Ultima's plan for him, for Mythos. All of this makes sense. Joshua learned quite early that Ultima wanted something from Clive, but he couldn't have suspected it was because he had chosen him as his vessel. But Clive is not a vessel. He his Joshua's brother, the person who has given him the most HOPE through all these years, even when they were apart. From the moment he learned Clive was still alive, he had always wanted to see him again. He never gave up on him.

"Brother, listen to me. You do not have to be Mythos. What Ultima plans to do with you... It does not matter." Well, it matters in some ways, because they will need to fight and kill Ultima to stop him from wanting to use Clive, but it doesn't change who Clive truly is.

He offers his brother a brief, soft smile. "Look at how you inspire everyone at the Hideaway ? They are all following you because they know you're a man of heart. They know you want the best for all of them, but also for everyone in Valisthea, no matter who they are or where they are from." He puts his hand on Clive's arm. I finally watched Wakanda Forever and (predictably) loved Talokan and these precious idiots. I just know Namora and Attuma grew up rivals and ended up as the best warriors. Attuma being so much taller than Namora is so great bc of how she bosses him around and he just complies kajshdkaj I loveeeeee

(I really love that they keep their skin color in the water, it’s genius that they were true to the comics with the blue skin but only when they’re out of their world)
