I think some folks MAY have gotten the wrong idea about how I feel about Circe with some of my posts. So, to clear the air...

Homies, I love that fucked up sorceress.

I love how we're never given a reason why she turns people into animals. That's so funny and so awful. And another potion-making magic gal?!?! I love that she's just basically vibing on an island doing whatever she wants. I even love the fact that she scares Odysseus shitless! She's morally gray and that's why she's FUN.

I just sincerely hate when people try to girlboss her or have her be a victim of SA when she never was Looking at you, Miller. Especially when she was actually the one who coerced Odysseus in exchange for his men being transformed back into humans. And even then, while he was clearly afraid of her, (it's in the language of the Odyssey) she likely meant him no harm after a certain point. He just didn't know that.

Why does she need a reason to do awful things? Why can't she just be a goddess who does whatever she wants? That's the reason why I love her!!! She's fucked up!!! :D

Big Deal... Clubbing/Drunk Headcanons

(It was time for my monthly reread of Jake Kim and One Night II arc... So here's some brainrot)

Assuming everyone is of age, or just gets let in cos they look like 30yr olds... don't you think Big Deal would be the funnest group to party with?

Imagine all the guys drunk, dancing with shitty cheesy moves and someone getting hoisted in the air, chanting "SINU! SINU! SINU!" then the bouncers get involved.

Note: everyone here exc Samuel unapologetically loves fruity colourful cocktails. And it goes without saying the rizz of Big Deal is unmatched.

Inferiority complex comes out in the form of buying drinks for everyone

Shows off his butt to all the guys (not the ladies) in the club while they ooh and aah and ask for his workout routine. "NICE GLUTES BRO, WHAT YOU SQUAT"

The reason I want to see the apology dance again is because I want to know if it is new and improvised each time (which I doubt) because if its exactly the same that means at some point Aziraphale had to choreograph and rehearse before performing it the first time in 1650, and possibly even had to teach it to Crowley for when it was (eventually) his turn

Parallels and falling in love

One of the things that I love about Good Omens is how many parallels there are. Things come in pairs, and the show explores what is between these parallels (shades of gray!).

Angels and demons. Heaven and hell. Good and bad.

There are many examples of this - a too good gardener and a wicked nanny, a sweet antichrist and a spoiled human kid, Eric and Muriel, Beelzebub and Gabriel... anyways, my point is: parallels. They also explore this on scenes.

For your consideration:

Now this falling-in-love scenes were told to us by Crowley.

The foil of this is Aziraphale's plan to make Nina and Maggie fall in love... BUT. WE ONLY HAVE ONE SCENE WITH A BALL. ONLY ONE SCENE WHERE CROWLEY AND AZIRAPHALE DANCE TOGETHER. IT IS NOT EVEN.

This is a single scene. It needs its pair.

Also, a interesting thing to note:

People would gather and do some formal dancing, and then realize they misunderstood each other and were, actually, deeply in love.

In the scene were Aziraphale and Crowely dance, this doesn't happen. IT DOESN'T. They are interrupted and the misunderstanding comes later.

So, where am I going with this?

I have a feeling we will have a dance scene in S3. A big ball. They will dance and notice they misunderstood each other in the final fifteen, but that they still love each other deeply.

Now, my wild card is: the ball and dance in question is a battle. They will fight each other in an intricate dance, and notice they are not aiming to hurt eachother. Notice they are both trying to stop everything. Notice the tears and longing in eachothers eyes. VAVOOOM!
