#WHERES THE FIC AT IF SOMEONE WRITES THIS I WILL PAY THEM A HUNDRED DOLLARS😭😭#kunikida serving the country while dazai's serving cunt😔#dazai was born to malewife but forced to manipulate and i think that's the greatest tragedy of bsd #anyway some facts i would like to share abt this au thay i came up w while drawing!!#takes place in 1939 (start of wwii) and there was a mandatory draft that required one male over eighteen from each house to serve #both of them are still twenty two and had been engaged for abt two years before getting married that year #newlyweds! unfortunately kuni had to go fight and they were seperated :(#before the war kunikida was a math teacher at the local high school and dazai obviously managed the household and didn't work #he's hopeless at cooking and meal prep even w recipie books so they either get those prepackaged meals or kuni makes dinner when he gets ba #so like when he's making lunch for kunikida he normally just packs a basic sandwich w raw fruit #kunikida always appreciates the effort even tho hes probably sick of having the same thing everyday but he won't complain abt it #when kunikida joined the army he was relieved that the mess hall had better food than dazai #he was the only one in his platoon that never complained abt the food so his fellow soldiers assumed it was bc he came from a tough bg #when in reality he was just used to being poisoned on a daily basis from his dumbass husbands cooking and was hardly fazed from army ration #they write to each other although its more dazai sending and kuni receiving bc hes off fighting and doesnt have time to write back #dazai talks abt life on the homefront and how he has to grow a victory garden (everything is DYING HE CANT EVEN RAISE TOMATOES)#and kuni writes abt his fellow soldiers and how the war is going and when he thinks he'll be home and how he misses sleeping in a bed #ANYWAY yea thought i'd share sry for infodumping in the tags again #this post is for like the four ppl that care abt this specific flavor of knkdz so hopefully this gets four notes at least #bungou stray dogs #bungo stray dogs #dazai osamu #osamu dazai #kunikida doppo #doppo kunikida #kunikidazai #knkdz #lotus draws #bro sry for posting at two in the morning i couldnt sleep until i got this out of my head they have infested my brain

Sketch dump! I havent done one of those in a while. These are all from June-July while I was on vacation.

First we have Layal! The delightful Mother of Monsters, aka the Ghost Zone’s most evil mama bear AND my take on a fem!danyal dan! I like to imagine she could pummel Dan into the ground, but that stands true for any and all of my au Dans. Bc i am INCREDIBLY biased.

She mostly lives on her island in the Ghost Zone, taking in monsters of the Infinite Realms of all kind and raising them as her own. Surprisingly enough, she does genuinely love her children. That’s about where her love ends. She stole the minotaur, his name is Asterion.

Then we have Daini-Yel! He’s from an au i’ve never actually talked about on here. He’s literally just Danny for an Epic!-inspired au. He's an unknown entity in the newly released open-adventure, odyssesy-inspired game "Nautilus", and he is not a part of the game's code :). He showed up three months after the game's initial launch, and was discovered during a live when a streamer was on their way to fight a boss much similar to Circe and the streamer accidentally took a detour and found his pathway (of which did not previously exist).

He's very friendly! And offers you, the Captain, a strange liquid with even stranger powers called "Ektolai", in order to help you fight Circe. His whole vibe and creation is literally just the song "Wouldn't You Like" from Epic. If you run into him enough times at the start of the game, you can convince him to join you on your adventure as part of the crew. He's a powerful ally and a very good friend, despite his strange awareness of the world around him...

Oh, but be warned... just like the rest of your companions, your actions have consequences and what you do affects their opinion of you. Daini is no different! Your close allies can quickly become enemies.

DAINI DOES WHAT DAINI WANTS #there's two versions of this au: one from daini's pov and one from the player's.#daini's pupils are white to indicate that he is non-human to the player. when you drink ekolai the world's colors invert and you can #perceive things that the normal mortal eye cannot. like shrink mode in Alice Madness Returns. in this mode daini's char. model floats #and he has a faint ethereal glow around him. nobody knows what he is and he gives you the dialogue option to ask him what he is.#he just smiles at you if you ask though. he makes his own achievements but they're slightly glitchy when you view them in the steam menu #if you ask me about daini-yel i'll infodump about him more.#his weapons of choice are rope darts. which are very much NOT greek weapons but it fits his whole 'not part of the game' theme

fiddleford's story actually drives me insane

your college best friend (who i choose to believe was a crush as well) invites you to collaborate on a big project that could change the future, and you leave your wife and child to join him.

you watch him slowly descend into madness as his hunger and motivation to complete the portal and further his research impacts him to the point it has HEAVY effects on his physical and mental well being, as well as his attitude towards you getting more aggressive and demanding

you also notice him doing. unnatural things. from time to time, like him just staring at TV static for an hour straight or laughing as he bangs his head against his desk.

when the portal is realized, you experience horrors beyond your comprehension that you re-experience so vividly in your dreams you cant sleep anymore

and all your friend can say to you is "we need to keep going" and that you're cowardice for not doing so

the nightmares get so bad you start inflicting brain damage on yourself just so you can forget, starting a whole cult in the process

you forget about said cult because of the sheer amount of damage you've done to your head and vice versa. nothing makes sense anymore.

I feel like Illusen wouldn’t be super good with social stuff, bc she spends all her time in that tree house instead of socializing with other faeries

Im still on the fence whether or not she does.

Her glade in the game is a huge sprawling village-like space that others live in so shes not out there alone. But it is possible that the ppl living there are mostly temporary refugees because she uses her glade as a place of protection for refugees during wars.

Most of her canon interaction with other faeries is with Jhudora but there is the odd time shes referenced talking to others so she definitely has other friends who are faeries. like in this neopedia article with a group of other earth faeries (in which shes also talking about jhudora lol...)

Who she doesnt talk to is Fyora's court, but theres a common sense of frustration with her court among most ppl so that doesnt seem too strange. Its also one of the rumours as to why she left and is the more likely one after the faerie festival. Its clear she feels bad about whatever happened between her and Jhudora so the other rumour of her finding Jhudora did something evil doesnt look true.

Illusen was either part of or interacted with this court at one point until she left

so she seems purposefully secluded from Fyora's court but not all faeries and probably gets along with most of them.

the ONE TIME in my life i consider that i actually flirted (the classic "phone number on the napkin" bit) did not ultimately work out at all plus i later realized the guy sucked so. so far so good
