“We heard about you down here. You are the one the sea and the wind and the earth whispered of.”

“Nesta.”

“You took from the Cauldron itself.”

“Come with me, Queen of Queens, and we shall return what was once lost.”

Nesta has been referenced more than once as a queen in the books, and perhaps this is a portent for what the future holds for her. Maybe not exactly as queen, but as ruler of the Dusk Court.

In this art, me and Luana wanted to represent Nesta as it's High Lady, holding her two swords: Cauldron made Ataraxia and Starsword/Gwydion. And we couldn't have loved more how @gessueter brought this idea to life.

I always choose the wrong day of the year to remind myself that I am an artist.

Here's a sneak peek of my recent sketch of Elriel, which I will probably finish next year (I am so funny, please laugh).

I am literally counting days, hours, minutes, and seconds to get my hands on CC3. I've spent these last weeks re-reading the previous CC, Acotar and now I am back to ToG.

After reading all the books again, my love for Elriel grew stronger. I can't wait to find out some clues about these two on HOFAS.

My head is exploding with theories and ideas and I am so excited to find out what SJM has planned for the next book.

Twilight: Okay.

Me: So, discussion time!

Twilight: Hmmmmm......no.

Me: ...Midna?

Midna: What is the world coming to that I'm the voice of reason here?

“You said you had an eight-pointed star tattooed on you,” Bryce explained. “And you found the chamber with the eight-pointed star in the Prison, too.”

Nesta lifted her head. “So?”

“So I want you to take the Starsword.” Bryce held the blade between them. “Gwydion—whatever you call it here. The age of the Starborn is over on Midgard. It ends with me.”

“I don’t understand.”

But Bryce began backing toward the portal, taking Hunt’s hand, and smiled again at the female, at her mate, at their world, as the Northern Rift began to close. “I think that eight-pointed star was tattooed on you for a reason. Take that sword and go figure out why.”

In one of her past interviews, Sarah J. Maas commented Nesta's journey was just beginning after Silver Flames, and after reading House of Flame & Shadow I believe part of her journey will be linked to the Dusk Court, as not only did Nesta bargaining mark has an eight-pointed star form (which is associated with the Starborns and thus the Dusk Court), as now she is the Gwydion owner. And as much as Nesta power is usually linked to death, its also showed capable of bringing life (as we have seen with the House of the Wind and Feyre & Nyx). I also found it particularly curious that Pegasus started appearing in Avallen once the land was healed, since Pegasus seem to have an association with the Valkyries.

I know thus far the books have only mentioned that Nesta's power is Pure Death, but I don't think that's true. I think her power is death and life.

She essentially stole the Dread Trove from the Asteri and then used the Mask - an object that they created - in their ultimate destruction. But Nesta also used the Dread Trove to save the lives of Feyre, Rhys, and Nyx. And Hunt used the Mask that Nesta lent them to save Bryce's life.

Nesta Made Ataraxia and was gifted Gwydion, both of which can kill the unkillable and were used to kill the Asteri, but Nesta also Made the House and the charm bracelets that helped her, Emerie, and Gwyn survive the Blood Rite.

The Bone Carver made it seem like Nesta was a being to fear, and I think that's true for beings like him, Lanthys, and the Asteri because they are unkillable beings that she can kill. But she is also connected to the Mother, she who brings life into the world. And I think in the next book, the Mother might use Nesta to fix the Cauldron, to take away the curse the Asteri put on it and make it a tool of creation - and only creation - once again. Maybe Nesta can find a way to make it not be the kill switch of Prythian. I think Nesta will also be able to put magic back into the land so it flows freely once again. She'll revive the Dusk Court, and bring back the pegasuses that once thrived there.
