Flash crashes into the middle of the family brawl, decked out in full Anti-Venom, classic-style, because frankly the situation calls for it. And by "it", I mean "looking fly as fuck". It earns him about 1.5 seconds of stunned silence before he gets full-body tackled by Eddie who promptly proceeds to mash their mouths together in front of absolutely everyone. (A petulant "Daaad!" can be heard in the background. It is ignored in favor of sucking face.)

It takes a good while for Flash to remember that they’re kinda in a hurry. It takes even longer before he can get a word out.

F: Mmmh...Eddie, as... nnnh... happy as I am to see you again (in the, uh, flesh...?), we really don’t have time for this right now. There are these... things called zombiotes wreaking havoc all over-

*Flash gets tactical assault kissed by Eddie. Again*

E: Do not presume to speak to me about time, Thompson. You cannot even begin to fathom how long I've been waiting to do this.

F: Nnnnhh... fine. Five minutes, then we go save the city.

E: Ten.

F: *Sigh* Do I even have a say in the matter?

*Belligerent smooching resumes*

*Off to the side, Sympeter is staring at them longingly*

Slowly, he removed his hand from what remained of the man’s skull. Red coated his hand, the warm crimson liquid dripping from his fingertips. He looked over his hand, watching his bright blue eyes reflecting back at him in the blood. He felt the hair along his body slowly lay back down flat, as the energy within him began to fizzle out.

“L…Lupin..?”

A soft voice croaked out.

“Lupin…Lupin, look at me..”

Slowly he turned his head, looking his partner in the eyes. The man was still slumped in a chair, hands bound behind his back.

Elena looked down as she felt her cheeks heat, it was always odd to hear Elijah make such declarations openly. Since the beginning, the two of them would always circle around each other, the attraction obvious, but the timing was always wrong.

They’d rarely say anything intimate to each other, even though it always felt like they were the only people in the room. Even when Klaus or Rebekah’s suffocating presence was around.

But now, the timing was finally right. She wasn’t entirely sure what prompted her to leave Mystic Falls, but it had been a strange sort of urgency. As if she would miss something important if she stayed in town, safe and comfortable, yes, but also stagnated. When she had found Elijah though, that feeling subsided. Something about him challenged her, but it also made her feel safe.

Obviously though, being with an Original wasn’t without it’s risks. She looked down at the dead vampires, remembering the way they had threatened her, and how easily Elijah had killed them. It would’ve made her uncomfortable before, the bloodshed and the death, but now it just made her feel protected.

“I don’t care what happens Elijah, about what kind of threats there are ahead,” her voice was low as she moved closer to him, her hands slipping in his, not caring about the blood staining his. “I….like being yours, and that you’re mine too.” She’d always had a jealous streak, but she never knew she was capable of being this possessive. “I want to stay as long as you want me to.” Her confession was a soft murmur, and she felt vulnerable. It was easy to ignore when she trusted him though.

I used to tell people about this revelation and they'd be like yeah.....duh.....but like, why wouldn't my base assumption be that you're communicating to me in a straightforward manner. anyway, I get scammed a lot.

cant tell you how bad it feels to constantly tell other artists to come to tumblr, because its the last good website that isn't fucked up by spoonfeeding algorithms and AI bullshit and isn't based around meaningless likes

#please dont delete your accounts because of the AI crap. your art deserves more than being lost like that #if you have a good PC please glaze or nightshade it. if you dont or it doesnt work with your style (like mine) please start watermarking #use a plain-ish font. make it your username. if people can't google what your watermark says and find ur account its not a good watermark #it needs to be central in the image - NOT on the canvas edges - and put it in multiple places if you are compelled #please dont stop posting your art because of this shit. we just have to hope regulations will come slamming down on these shitheads#in the next year or two and you want to have accounts to come back to. the world Needs real art #if we all leave that just makes more room for these scam artists to fill in with their soulless recycled garbage #improvise adapt overcome. it sucks but it is what it is for the moment. safeguard yourself as best you can without making #years of art from thousands of artists lost media. the digital world and art is too temporary to hastily click a Delete button out of spite
