A grin, bordering on goofy, spreads over his face as he settles himself down beside Elijah, his head tilting to the side just a touch. "What are we drinking?" he hums, gaze dipping down to inspect the Original for a moment before he's glancing back up to meet his eyes. "And the terms of my apology are yours to set."

He taunted devilishly. Guilt was an emotion Klaus seldom managed. His preferred methods for coping were to add insult to injury. Blinking in surprise at the sound of his older brother’s voice, Kol froze with his hand still hovering over his jacket. He hadn’t expected Elijah to even notice his leaving, much less provide unsolicited wardrobe advice.

“As you wish, brother,” the younger of the two conceded after a moment. It was thoroughly unlike Kol to give in so easily, but it had been so long since his older brother had actually acted like one to him that the brunette didn’t have the heart to refuse. “Do you need anything from the store?”

elena was unsure what provoked elijah to do this, but she suddenly realized she didn't care. they had decided to go to a bar, and elena was getting hit on. she wasn't interested, but somehow, she knew elijah was watching. she couldn't help but feel excited so she continued to flirt. until the man went to far, and made her uncomfortable. elijah stepped in, and thankfully compelled the guy away. they were silent on the way back to the motel they were staying in as they kept on moving around. when she demanded why he was acting this way, he pinned her aginst the wall. there wasn't anger in his eyes, but something more... something...passionate. was it desire? did the original vampire desire her? she could feel her heart beat fast, and all elena could do was stare at his lips, wanting to know what they'd feel like against hers, and her neck, her shoulder, and...other places. the only sound out of her mouth was ❝elijah...❞

HER HEAD SNAPS BACK TO HIM BUT HER EXPRESSION IS SET HARD AS STONE, gaze unflinchingly challenging in the wake of such a demand. Kisa takes a small step closer to him, eye to eye, as he requested - for the moment. "I understand that you and your family are used to getting what you want, but you'll have to earn my attention."

He braces his hand against the wall beside the mirror, a tiny gasp escaping his lips. Their reflection, intertwined together, is an image he can't take his eyes off of - or rather, he can't take his eyes off of Elijah's face, watching the other male's expression. "Fuck," Jeremy groans, his foul mouth only growing worse with each thrust, pleasure ratcheting higher. Reaching up and behind himself, to thread his fingers through the hair at the nape of Elijah's neck, gripping the vampire closer despite the fact that they both know he could break out of Jeremy's grip without any effort at all. "Harder." The request is almost breathless, followed by a moan as his eyelashes flutter, pulse jumping in his throat.

Elena looked down as she felt her cheeks heat, it was always odd to hear Elijah make such declarations openly. Since the beginning, the two of them would always circle around each other, the attraction obvious, but the timing was always wrong.

They’d rarely say anything intimate to each other, even though it always felt like they were the only people in the room. Even when Klaus or Rebekah’s suffocating presence was around.

But now, the timing was finally right. She wasn’t entirely sure what prompted her to leave Mystic Falls, but it had been a strange sort of urgency. As if she would miss something important if she stayed in town, safe and comfortable, yes, but also stagnated. When she had found Elijah though, that feeling subsided. Something about him challenged her, but it also made her feel safe.

Obviously though, being with an Original wasn’t without it’s risks. She looked down at the dead vampires, remembering the way they had threatened her, and how easily Elijah had killed them. It would’ve made her uncomfortable before, the bloodshed and the death, but now it just made her feel protected.

“I don’t care what happens Elijah, about what kind of threats there are ahead,” her voice was low as she moved closer to him, her hands slipping in his, not caring about the blood staining his. “I….like being yours, and that you’re mine too.” She’d always had a jealous streak, but she never knew she was capable of being this possessive. “I want to stay as long as you want me to.” Her confession was a soft murmur, and she felt vulnerable. It was easy to ignore when she trusted him though.
