Delcatty represents chen! It was originally going to be an espeon because espeon and chen are kinda based off the same sorta thing I think, but I prefered the idea of chen as a delcatty because I love the image of motherly Ran, and Delcatty feels like this pampered, spoiled cat. Also the shiny is red like chen's outfit =}

Metagross is an artificial intelligence that allegedly has 4 brains, and is here in reference to the fact that Ran was kinda just treated as "not really a person, and more of a machine" for a long ass time. Also something about Ran just having a whole ass metagross feels right.

Reunicles is more representative of current Ran (and my perfered Ran), where she's kinda just a super genius. Alakazam could also work here, but something about Alakazam feels more "intelligent in a pertentious way", and that's just not how I see Ran lol.

Pyukumuku and Pachirisu are really odd picks, but I can explain! Both of these are little weird things that take some clever usuage to make work in a competetive setting, and it kinda feels good to give Ran these kinda weird niche pokemon! Pyukumuku comes from personal experience, since I actually quite like using Pyukumuku in gen 7 competetive on Showdown. Pachirisu is in reference to the famous moment from VGC 2014 (I think) where a guy won worlds with a Pachirisu as his core support mon! Both are the kinda weird niche support mons I could TOTALLY see Ran having around. (Also one of the IE changes I really like is giving Pachirisu Fur Coat, and it works since Ran is cannonically really fluffy =)

He’s not fond of pain but does not shy from it either. The marks don't bother him, they heal faster than you think anyway.

If you center the attack on his thighs, he'll arch a brow and say something quick and sarcastic, like, "I'm honored you've chosen me as your personal canvas."

Jack has super sharp senses, so he's super aware of your touch. If you bite or leave cuts near sensitive spots, hips, or neck, for example, he might tense for a moment but never stop you.

Toby is a little awkward about it at first, not used to someone being so physically affectionate in such an intense way. But once he gets used to it? He's all in. (fucking weirdo 😒 / lovingly)

He doesn't actually feel pain like others do, (obv) so he lets you go wild without flinching. "You're gonna have to try harder than that to leave a mark on me," he'd tease, looking down later to grin at the faint bruises or bites.

If you target his thighs, he might giggle a bit, kicking his leg. "That tickles, stop- stop!"

Neck and collarbone marks fluster him the most. He'll try to hide them with his hoodie but secretly love that they're there.

Sometimes, he'll encourage you in his chaotic way: "Oh, you missed a spot. Try here!" and point to random places like his back or ribs, sometimes even shoving his wrists in your face 😭😭

If you ever leave too many marks, he'll grin like a maniac and joke: "Guess I'm your chew toy now, huh?"

Jeff would be cocky about it, but secretly flustered. He'd smirk and say something snarky like, "Didn't know you were that desperate to get your hands on me," but the redness creeping up his neck gives him away.

Tim is not immediately comfortable it, especially if it's in a more vulnerable spot like his neck or inner thighs. He'll tense up and grumble, "What are you doing?" but he won't push you away :3

Over time, he warms up to it, especially when he realizes it's your way of showing affection. He won't admit it, but he finds it oddly reassuring :p

Marks on his shoulders or upper back are his favorite. He won't say anything, but you might catch him subtly glancing at them in the mirror (😏)

If you bite too hard, he'll sigh and mutter, "You know I have to cover that up, right?" while pulling on another layer of clothing (i love him guys)

Surprisingly, he doesn't mind if you mark his thighs when he's sitting or lounging. He might roll his eyes but secretly enjoys the attention.

"You're a little too into this, you know that?" he'd say with the tiniest smirk, though the faint blush on his face betrays him.

You giggle quietly while watching the video, leaning back into your boyfriend’s arms. Harry said you were one of the people they ranked and asked if you wanted to watch it with him. And, of course, you agreed because who wouldn’t. You watch Harry as he gets up from the couch to go get a snack.

"You look good in this video by the way," you complemented him as your eyes wandered back to the screen. "I reckon I look good in every video, don't know what you mean..." He remarked. You rolled your eyes and playfully shoved him when he sat back down next to you only to be grabed by the waist and pulled closer to him.

"They are our friends, so don't take any of these seriously," Simon continues with a disclaimer, knowing how the internet would react if he didn't. "Maybe not for much longer if I get ranked last for any of the nice ones." You say, half-accusingly glaring at Harry. He puts on a guilty look and shrugs.

"Which Youtuber would you most want backing you up in a fight, we have seven people." The said seven people then popped up at the bottom of the screen. It was you, Deji, Theo Baker, Callux, Danny Aarons, Randolph, and Calfreezy. “Oh shit, it’s my girlfriend oh no,” Harry says, putting his hands in his face. The guys laugh at him and Vik says, “someone’s sleeping in the dog house tonight.” "Bro you better watch what you say."

"Who'd you want most", "Well Deji has got to be number one", "Yea Deji number one," they say in agreement. "Hey! What about me," you say, turning around to pretend to punch Harry. He ducks out of the way and says, "Come on Y/N, he's literally a professional boxer". "Yeah well...I can throw a punch too." You grumble, turning back around to face the television.

"...Theo's up there because he's pretty w..." You hear your boyfriend say in the video. "I could take him down," you mutter. "I know you could okay Y/N," he says as he kisses the top of your head. The guys continue discussing their rankings, not once mentioning you at all. "Okay now hold on a sec, because I personally think Y/N could pack a punch you know, I feel like she's got the temper enough to take a bitch down." Simon reasons with the group.

"Remind me to give Simon a big hug the next time we see him." You say gleefully, happy someone finally recognized your strength. "Yeah, I agree. I think she has the ride-or-die kind of mindset because she will fight for you and what-not, god I love her." Harry says. You look up lovingly at him and kiss his cheek.

"So we're going Deji, Theo, Danny, Lux, Y/N, Freezy, Randy," they say as they list out their rankings. "Are we sure about Freezy and Randy?" Tobi asks, to which Harry responds, "Y/N loves getting into fights so yeah..." You glare at Harry, unsure if it was a compliment or not. "You know she's actually mad strong. The other time she accidentally turned around and elbowed my stomach and it had a huge bruise for a week," Josh added. "Does that mean you're just weak then?" Simon says. The lads just laughed and before Josh even tried to defend himself, Simon already started talking about the fan's rankings.

"Randy's third? And Danny's six?" Simon says in disbelief. "No way I think Randy and Danny swap," Harry says, he looks down the lists and sees you've been ranked at sixth. "Wait no way they voted Y/N as last. Guys have you seen her during our challenges, she would take a bitch down," Harry continues. You thanked him for 'defending your honor' and gave him a big smooch on the lips.

They continued to disagree with the fan rankings, but you honestly couldn't care less anymore. Knowing that your boyfriend thought you were tough and could hold your own was enough for you. You begin to dose off as the video continues playing, hearing Harry chuckle every now and then when his friends make a joke, as he combs your hair unconsciously.

However, one of the questions you hear as you fall asleep catches your attention. "Which youtuber is the most attractive?" You sit up, curious about what would be their rankings. The rest of boys in the video look at Harry, thinking that he would instantly say his girlfriend, but boy were they wrong. "Number one Callux," Harry says immediately. You both burst out laughing as he continues to try and correct himself, in the video, realising his girlfriend was also in the list. You pretended to act offended as Harry 'apologises profusely', peppering kisses all around your face. You couldn't help but giggle at your boyfriend's adorableness.

Laying back down in your boyfriend's arms as he wraps them tightly around you, with the video playing in the background, you look up at Harry, wondering how did you get so lucky and how much you love your life.

Been thinking about your team ro time travel and team ro defect crossover and I just. I've been rereading keanblade's stuff recently so i have a very specific tobirama in my head and the idea that he'd take one look at this group of sad dissilusioned young adults/children and be like guess i'm a father of 5 now and rewrite his entire priorities around that. Like, you mentioned in the of team ro time travel you liked the idea of having half hatake tobirama in the mix and i'm an enjoyer the idea hatake tend to just adopt children wily nilly like oh look more pack, I think i will thank you very much. Just tobirama absconding with this entire group that has no incentive to return to their own time and being like i'm the dad now (yes some of them are barely younger than him, no that doesn't change that he's everyone's dad fuck off). He gets to teach kakashi all kinds of hatake things! Show him how to be a little wilder like the hatake of the warring states! If you subscribe to the theory he helped hashirama learn how the mokuton worked he could tenzo with his mokuton. The funniest option is that somehow all of this leads to peace without izuna dying and they werent even trying for that. Like, tobirama just straight up ditching everything to take care of a bunch of depressed teenagers and a kid, over half of which are uchiha, and being SO fiercely protective of his little pack of murder children and the uchiha seeing this and being like. Huh. I thought that guy hated us? He just. Is living in the woods with three uchiha and treating them like his specialest little guys. An uchiha patrol runs across them and tobirama is patting itachi on the head for a good job learning whatever insane jutsu he's currently teaching team ro because those are his kids and of course he'd teach them to be as strong and terrifying as he could. Makes them think. Bonus points if this also somehow leads to madatobi and/or when the village does get built tobirama always looking to team ro before agreeing to any plans cuz they know what didnt work the first time, having not only been affected by it in the worst ways but left because of it in their time. Does this make the village better? Who knows. But they're certainly trying.

Sorry for the long thing, this has just been plauging my thoughts. I dont even know if i explained my idea well it's just been banging around in my brain for too long and i needed it out

Based off [THIS] au about Team Ro defecting from Konoha after Kakashi, having been told the truth of his fathers sabotaged mission and the slander campaign against him by Orochimaru, interrupts Shisui's murder at Danzo's hand, leading to the entire team + Sasuke to flee Konoha-- and then accidentally time travel into the warring states era, years before Konoha was set to be founded.

Team Ro really showed up, immediatley got thrust into an (unwilling, unwanted) custody battle, then got fucking SNATCHED by Tobirama before they could try and make a run for it, and just kinda,, decided to go with it? I guess? Fucking gold, actually. How the actual fuck did Tobirama convince them all to stay with him, the world will never know.

The man teleported the group of them into a forest alone, (instantly outnumbering himself) and went "this means I won the custody battle btw." and team Ro just went "I mean its better than being stuck with Uchiha Madara I guess." and went with it

Im not going to lie I fucking pictured Madara stumbling across the cave and team ro yapping at him like little chihuahuas and fucking lost my mind actually, needed to take a second to regain my sanity (in a good way)

Do u think Hashirama yells at Tobirama when he comes back home for publically kidnapping some mystery uchiha (plus others who were not very recognizable and thus do not matter as much) in front of the uchiha clan. Does Tobirama come back home? Does he just decide to become a cave hermit somewhere in the woods with his hashtag found family who may or may not fully want to be there? (they must, to some degree, want to be there-- if only because Tobirama Senju might be talented but he is also 18 at the time and nowhere near the height of his power. And Team Ro is many things, but unskilled is NOT one of them)

I forgot Tobirama knew ab the time travel for a sec and pictured him looking at Sasuke, this little clone of Izuna, and going "Hmm. You look exactly like my rival does and no doubt belong to the Uchiha main house."

If Izuna and Hashirama are both being little bitch boys in this I do need to advocate that they should totally get to kiss and be little bitch boys ✨ together ✨(the hashiizu agenda never dies) (let them begrudgingly get a drink together--though its Izuna who does most of the begrudging--get drunk while whining about their brothers, and then share a very ill advised kiss or two that Izuna will now deny ever happened till the day he dies)

I still think Tenzo should get to bond with Hashirama bc I love them getting to interact, but Im hearing your 'bad brother Hashirama' vibes for this spin off and nodding respectfully, so like. Maybe Hashirama can be sad about Tobirama monopolizing Tenzo, literally THE only other Mokuton user in the world's time, and be mad ab that too? I dont usually write explicitly bad brother Hashirama so I'm not too good at proposing how that could go tbh but I love the soap opera / dogblood drama vibes, it's so fun

I do think that some of team Ro could be useful at the peace talk / village planning meetings if they spoke up !!

Itachi may be young but is clan heir, and no doubt knows most of the modern day clan laws that Konoha would one day put in place, so he can suggest those knowing that it's what they'd eventually land on anyways.

Meanwhile Kakashi is the student of a Hokage, who watched over the shoulder of two different Hokage's, from ages 13 to present, so he absolutely knows a thing or ten about politics and running a village (at least from an outsiders perspective) Which. Actually technically makes him the most eligible / knowledgeable person like. In all of the peace talks when it comes to running a village which is fascinating. I'm jotting that one down to reference later in my original team ro time travel fic actually, there's a lot that can be done with that

ALSO !! If this is the 'team ro time travels to warring states era' au but like, with the team ro that defected from Konoha, they totally have Opinions(tm) about Konoha, which is so fun. I feel like Shisui has the sort of personality where he might actually be vocal about things when it comes to founding Konoha.

The way that the team stood whenthey left the village, Shisui and Itachi were both still majority village loyalists (though their loyalty had been deeply shaken)

Tenzo was high key "whatever my teamamtes say I will follow" but still has Konoha's roots buried deep into his heart.

Kakashi was the most complex-- the only one who it could truly be said was against the village, and for that I think he's interesting to play with and has motivation to get inolved in village making-- or the opposite; Want nothing to do with it.

IM YELLING ACTUALLY AT TEAM RO GENRE CHANGE THTS SO FUNNY

It was actually never time travel, it was straight up dimension travel. They fr went from a grimdark angst fic to a silly fluffy cracky fuckin, blessed eyes au where Tobirama is actually secretly a Good Boi(tm) and his indescribable riz and way with children make Madara forget about the whole mutual genocide thing

(Plot twist: Izuna and Hashirama arent actually bad brothers, they're just not aware of the genre they're in and reacting accordingly to their brothers doing a sudden 180 and ending the war with the ✨power of love ✨ and also adopting several teenagers (some of which are literally their age) who appeared out of nowhere, have no credentials, two of which are technically CONFIRMED BLOODLINE THEIVES (Kakashi willing and Tenzo unwilling, lab grown mokuton stolen from Hashirama's dna is STILL BLOODLINE THEFT, thanks Orochimaru) and are losing their GODDAMN MINDS over the turn of events)

Anyways this whole thing was a riot, I loved it and u are a master at silly fluff and comedy, I had a lot of fun reading what you sent me !!!

Ik u were aiming for silly fun so I hope my additions didnt take anything too seriously, I am in my shinobi politics 'writing everything as being played straight' era, so tried my best to stick with silly fluffy fun time comments instead of tripping and falling into the political implications of, like, a disillusioned with Konoha nukenin Kakashi, at the age where he was near his most depressed and apathetic, who is also technically the most qualified person in Fire to discuss making a village, being let in on village planning with implicit backing from both the Uchiha head and Senju heir. Or how itachi in the original (non nukenin) au was down to kill Madara, but the him in this au now has even more motivation to do it. N other fun implications like that

'To those who say I plagiarized the plot from the novel Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix – Read the book. It's nothing like the plot of the movie. And 'The Final Girl' is a trope in horror movies so if using the Final Girl trope is plagiarism then basically everyone who's made a slasher movie since Texas Chainsaw Massacre owes the Toby Hooper estate some money.'

So, much like how James doesn't understand why people aren't upset at him because of citation issues, he doesn't understand that it's not the fact that he's using the 'Final Girl' trope... it's the fact that he stated the book as a favorite of his and then... suddenly he's writing a movie about the aftermath of the Final Girl. And given the plagiarism, it can not be taken in good faith.

First off, if you just google 'First Final Girl', it just says Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the earliest examples. Another possibility for the 'First Final Girl' was actually Black Christmas which was released the same day in Canada so it is literally tied.

Secondly; the final girl trope is not required for slasher movies. One of the first 'proto-slasher' movies was actually Psycho so there were a few good decades between that and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. (I could try and make a case that Lila Crane should count as a Final Girl; maybe even Mrs. Bates/Norman as a subversion... but I'm not that invested or interested.)

So... James was true to form, he just wanted to be a smug asshat and try and seem smart over something easily googled.

He's pacing back and forth in front of you, almost forgetting that you're there

That is, until you sigh loudly through the rag that was shoved into your mouth

He looks up at you "what?"

You raise a brow before looking down at the rag

"Oh." He mutters, coming to be in front of you and taking the rag out

You cough and move your tongue around, trying to get rid of the cotton mouth "so when can i go home?" You ask

He looks at you, bewildered "uh...do you not see what's happening? You're being kidnapped."

"No, i got that part, i just have work in the morning so i don't wanna be late for that"

He sighs and rubs his eyes before looking at you once more "no, you see, I'm not going to be returning you home. You are staying here, until your family pays the agreed ransom amount"

You sigh "darn. Alright."

He shoves the rag back in your mouth and continues to contemplate on his worries...

One of the reasons he enjoys his job, is that he at least gets some sort of gratitude out of it

Knowing his victims fear him, makes him feel strong and superior

So when he kidnaps you and you don't care, that really ticks him off

He doesn't show it at first, trying to get you to fear him in the easier ways, such as telling you all of the things he's gonna do, telling you that you're gonna be here forever, etc

And when that doesn't work, he amps up the pressure a little, threatning you, threatning your family and friends, etc

And when that doesn't works, he amps it up a little more, holding his gun to your head, slicing various parts of your body with his knife, etc

One way or another, he will get you to fear him, he doesn't care what it takes

Eventually, he will even go as far as to leaving you alone, tied to a chair in the dark, with no one else but yourself to keep you company

How long he leaves you like this depends on how angry you made him

It may range from just a day or to a week or so

The longest he'll let you stay down there by yourself is until you are on the brink of starvation, he needs you alive, after all...

In fact, it makes his life easier if you don't react

He can catch up on his other work, harvest your kidneys, study, read

The list goes on, really

So it's actually better this way, and he appreciates you not wasting his time trying to thrash around, scream or escape

He doesn't tell you that though, of course

He's probably the person you want to get kidnapped by, all things considered

If you are good, he will eventually start getting you some fast food for your meals

He will also untie you for an hour or so, and let you walk around

Staying active is necassary, you know

And who knows? If you ask nicely enough, he might just bring you some crossword puzzles to keep your mind occupied

All that being said, do not mistake his kindness for mercy

One wrong move and he will make you wish you'd never been born...

Dorcean Headcanons: Hunting

Hunting has great part in their culture. Unfortunately, there's many misconceptions about their view on it.

They have an honor code when it comes to hunting, which is taught to them from a young age. It consists of three simple rules.

Never lay claim to another hunter's prey.

Always perform a clean kill.

Nothing goes to waste

And now, some trivia on this aspect of Dorcean culture, as well as some analysis about their honor code.

Not all Dorceans are hunters. However, it is a preferred career.

Even at his most desperate during his two-year hunting, Besteel never broke the honor code.

Hunting is a dangerous job, and there are days when even the most veteran hunters return home empty-handed. As such, no matter the circumstances, taking an animal from someone else's trap, AKA stealing, is frowned upon, if not utterly vilified. And yes, freeing the animals counts. No wonder Besteel was so mad at Rovender!

As many hunters point out, they hunt 'for sport' because they're hired to do so. In fact, Vamphyr himself once said non-Dorceans would rather have them kill Orbona's animals because they're too cowardly to do so themselves—a sentiment shared by most Dorceans.

Hunters will often decorate the walls of their homes with trophies from their most challenging quarries.

It might not look like it, but hunting gliders require high maintenance. As such, only veteran hunters can afford to have one. And they take very good care of it.

As mentioned before, a hunter will sometimes return home empty-handed. As such, when they make a kill, they will take everything that can be used from the carcass, leaving nothing to go to waste. Hunters who do so are often inexperienced.

They will never use poison—not out of morals, but practicality. Poison can potentially ruin the carcass's quality or, at worst, make its meat inedible. As such, Cassiora's unorthodox use of poisoned or drugged arrows to bring down prey was looked at with disapproval.

When they kill an animal for survival reasons, Dorceans have a small rite that involves thanking it for its sacrifice in their language. If the animal is agonizing, they put a quick end to their suffering.

While Dorceans make their first kill at an early age, they're not considered fully-fledged hunters until they've undergone a rite of passage at 14 years old. They're taken to the Heart of the Forest and left there with a time limit of 24 hours; they cannot return to the village without killing something.

Needless to say, Besteel's kill was exceptional for his young age: an adult vipanther, a deadly predator from the Dorcean homeworld that can give even veteran hunters a run for their money. This was such an impressive feat that the entire tribe threw a celebration in his honor.

Redimus, on the other hand… Well, let's just say that everyone could see he didn't have the character nor the cold blood to be a hunter—something he and Thalyss were quite content with.

Mammusk hunts are held yearly to replenish the tribe's food supply for winter. This is a social event in which most, if not all, of the tribe's hunters take part.

Dorceans have plenty of songs that focus on hunting activities, extolling the strength of a particular hunter, a particularly fearsome creature—such as Broken Tooth. These may be sung in many contexts: before or during a hunt, before battle with external forces, and during social events.

Btw, I imagine the vipanther looking like the tobi-kadachi from monster hunter.
