no but Peeta being SUCH a boy is delightful to me and especially when it comes to him being like “hey babe babe babe watch this” and he just like, flips a water bottle over and it lands right side up on the table and he’s like *touchdown hands* and she’s so tickled even though she rolls her eyes

she tries so hard to keep a straight face and remain deadpan when he starts his stupid shit, and truly she is puzzled by it, because sometimes he’s such a deep and sensitive artistic soul and other times he’s like “babe. come look at this snail i found. it looks like haymitch i swear.”.

BUT, 9 times out of 10 she cannot hide her amusement and he knows that she loves it - so why would he ever stop? he loves to see her smile. even if she is like “you’re a goddamn idiot, you know that?”

made some progress in Tactics Ogre (but not a lot I'm still in ch1 despite clearing multiple maps? wild)--have a better feel for the mechanics, and they aren't so bad to navigate as I first thought.

The "battles and cutscenes ONLY" pacing is wild, like I don't have time to chat with any of the other characters to get a sense for how they feel about shit, which like, I know this is a remaster of a PSP game, and that "getting to chat w/ your units" is a more recent trend in srpgs, but it's still like damn okay, we're just moving right along then (kinda nostalgic feeling though)

honestly really enjoying it a lot so far though. The battle mechanics are fun (similar to TriStrat w/ needing to take weather, elevation, positioning, etc. into account, but SIGNIFICANTLY more forgiving than TriStrat battles which always felt a bit more challenging to me compared to other srpgs I've played); and I'm really enjoying the characters and story so far...although I do wish for like, an in-game atlas or something so I can keep country names and stuff straight (I did remember it was originally a PSP game though, which meant it had to have been released with a physical manual, and lo and behold I did find a PDF of said game manual and it contains a bit of the worldbuilding/setting info I've been very ??? about so, thank goodness for PDFs of old game manuals)

so yea, fun game so far!

hi it's been a month and a new . hold. is over me. it's called hollow knight. and. I have. like. 50 hours in it. in the past two weeks. 150ish total. and i've almost 100%'d it achievement wise. I already got the pure completion/112% completion achievement the only thing I have left is um the p5 ending which i've gotten really close to. I got to abs-rad last time which is funny because the time before that I got to pv before dying and that's also funny because the time before THAT I got to nkg so each time I only got one boss further so hopefully next time if I make it past pv again i'll beat abs-rad (ofc I need to practice against her but yk (I'm so bad at fighting her)) ALSO tiso is my favorite character he's the best he's my favorite ant EVER second place goes to god tamer she's cool. I hate fighting her tho she actually can ruin my p5 run. boooo. grimm gets me my health back tho he's real one. anyways ig unpopular opinion but I LOVE godseeker idc that she hates ghost in a normal playthrough I heart her she's the best :) and I like cloth a lot too that's a normal opinion I think cloth is really neat! hive knight is also my second favorite character. I loveee the little bit of lore we actually get about him and I like how he goes "bzzz huzzah!" because that's so real hive knight!! huzzah!! and pure vessel. pv. oughh they're totally my favorite fight with hive knight being my second. pure vessel is so much funnn like idc that they already deal double damage like. they're soo much fun!!!! and speaking of vessels lost kin is also the best lost kin makes me want to cry sometimes. ough the nod after you finish the dream battle I KNOW THE LORE I KNOW WHAT THAT NOD MEANS RAHHHHH. I also like monomon and quirrel a lot. jellyfish and pillbug combo my beloved.. I want. the next username I need to make. monomonn. because I love her. and I think her name is super neat. also nkg is pretty cool but like his name is kind of. middle schooler. nightmare king grimm.. muah ah ah... but he's a fun fight he's an enjoyable fight. idc that he's also double damage it's fun!! it's so much fun I love how. he's .pink. anyways. yeagh. bzzz HUZZAH! bzzzzz HUZZAH!

...I just pulled a t shirt out of my drawer and a brown object tumbled out onto the carpet. I picked it up. It was a snail.

A juvenile Giant African Land Snail, not an albino, just a standard one with a brown shell and a grey body.

...Her name is Dora. I raised her from a day old hatchling. I cried when I got back from a week long holiday, three weeks ago, and she was gone.

I think she's still alive.
