I love you, first snowfall of the season. I love you, powdery snow and frozen grass in the mornings. I love you, pink and purple sunsets. I love you, heavy snowfall. I love you, waking up in the morning to find a thick blanket of untouched white snow. I love you, skiing trips through the woods. I love you, hot berry juice. I love you, making running steps through the untouched snow to see how far you can leap. I love you, frost and snow in the tree branches making everything look glistening and perfect. I love you, grey cloudy days when everything looks monochrome except for the red trunks of the pines. I love you, downhill skiing. I love you, trying out new routes and tricks while downhill skiing and getting out of my comfort zone! I love you, hot chocolate and whipped cream. I love you, great tits and magpies flying about looking for food. I love you, clear days when the sky is blue and you remember how beautiful it really is. I love you, heavy snowfall illuminated by the street lamps at night. I love you, walking on the sea ice and lake ice and accessing places I never could before. I love you, glögi. I love you, snowflakes and inspecting your patterns. I love you, steaming hot saunas. I love you, ice swimming, even though you also frighten me! I love you, fairy lights in the trees. I love you, wind-carved waves and shapes in the snow. I love you, blue hour. I love you, warm blankets. I love you, tiny black streams still staying unfrozen and moving. I love you, icicles and other beautiful ice formations. I love you, crown snow-load and thick snow covering the trees. I love you, northern lights. I love you, fireplaces. I love you, waking up in the middle of the night in your warm bed, finding the house completely quiet as you walk through the hall, and upon looking out the window, all you can see is the calm snow slowly making its way to the ground, illuminated by the colourful fairy lights and the orange street lights. And you get this magical feeling inside of you, that you’re so warm, and calm, and perfectly safe and sound in this very moment. And you feel like you could stand there forever and just… take it all in.

shoutout to people working their dream jobs doing something mundane
#i work in IT and can i be honest. i might complain about my work sometimes but ive never#gone to bed and been like ''man i dont want to go to work tomorrow''#or like. i have had thoughts similar to that but it's always because of something non work related#like rn im excited to go to work and see my co workers tomorrow morning#but also i wish i didnt have work so i could wake up to play monhun#or sometimes i wish i could just sleep in. but i never hate my job#i enjoy going there. i can make a living with it. actually as soon as i graduate i'll be earning pretty well#though most of that will be going to student loans for some years but it's still more than what my parents made combined when i was a kid#pre taxes for both of us. not taking inflation into account.#i know i complain about management and complain at work but i genuinely really like my job#its always been my dream to have a job i dont mind doing. and this is it.#im not saying id feel the same in any it job. but here i get to manage like a billion different systems and device types#and i get to do so much different things and theres always something new and fun going on and i get to be a part of making it happen#and its a very seasonal job so im not doing the same thing all around the year. spring is the busiest but i fucking love spring#both in general and at work#days go by fast bc theyre busy but theyre busy in like ah. how do i say it. in a way i dont have high brain power work#sure i need to know my shit but its easy shit#and then winter is always projects and v much using my brain and less my body#spring and summer some work days are workouts gdvxhdns#also during some weeks in the summer. i can go on a walk anytime and get ice cream or something on the clock#and using the excuse of saying im patroling our systems gdvxhsj#theres a lot to do but the work environment is chill#a lot of IT work is. sure paying way more but also complete hell. not for me.#what im doing rn is like. i would not mind retiring here.#im not surprised lots of ppl do like 40 year careers where i work#sure managements been kinda shit but things are changing rn#and i feel like theyre changing for the better#idk im just v happy rn!#spring is coming and i can feel it#i love spring theres so much new things happening

Circe puts a pair of bunny ears upon Nunnaly's head. "Happy holiday my friend."
“W-what are you doing..!?” – why is Circe mocking her? Again! She is supposed to be her friend… Though ever since Nunnally remembers, Circe was doing nothing else, but exactly ridicule her. Though the bunny ears look cute; after all Nunnally has some sense of humour (though most of the time she cannot laugh at herself).
Though the greetings make her brows furrow; Nunnally doesn’t like holidays. Any of them. It’s only the bad memories that are brought to her (and she never cared to create the good ones; rather ignores it and she’s so good at that).
Chocolate eggs… Tons of them. What else do people eat for Easter?
A wave of nausea engulfs her. Nunnally thinks it’s because of the taste of cheap chocolate that she suddenly remembers she was forced to try.
But the truth is very different…but she's not there yet to face it.

a couple days ago i went outside for the first time in a few days into a heavy warm rain and it was like spring had come overnight and i don't know how i always manage to forget how good the first spring rain feels but it's like a little warm rain and suddenly i feel like a person again. it's beautiful
#i was always an 'autumn is my favorite season' person but i think it's gotta be spring these days#there's nothing like it#i love rainy spring days more than almost anything. the near violence of the green and the fluffy pink flowers and the humidity#finally coming back (fall and winter are very dry here)#somehow it always makes me feel like im in elementary school again in a way fall and winter never quite#with that anticipation of summer now being the shaking off of the horrors of winter#anyway seasonal depression gang rise up!! spring came without me noticing and it hasn't cured me but it felt really nice#like oh. it's worth another cycle just for this. the whole world is still here just to feel that rain again.#anyway imagine me typing this while fighting to reach the last cluster of ice in a wide and deep cup#like horizontally bobbing for apples. like a hungry hungry hippo. just keep that image in there next to the words#posts like these make me wonder what kind of impression i make on you all via these posts#maybe a deeply romantic but functionally inelegant person. from this post at least#which i'd say is pretty accurate

Would love to know why international acts always seem to come out here in the dead of summer. Nothing says fun like performing in 40° celsius heat
#its especially funny when its some norwegian metal band my brother likes or something#like are your tour managers actually trying to kill you who planned this#but also a reason i barely go to concerts bc its like lol pay 180 bucks to stand in blaring heat 🫶#um.... im okay#i went to florence and the machine a while back and while it was a great concert and she did amazing#it was a 40 degree day and even tho she didnt come out til the sun was setting it was still 37° out and there was no seating#so i ended up stripping half my dress off and just having the underskirt and my bra on and so did p much everyone else bc we were dying#and she kept stopping the show bc she was seeing people faint in the audience and would ask security to go check on them#also winter here is perfect??? like it doesnt snow it doesnt rain much its often 20-23 c during the day so im just ?????#do a winter show and leave the summer shows for places that are ice tundras in the winter or something idk#if skz does come here this yr which they might not i mean there was 4 years between the first concerts here and the last#but i hope its in autum winter early spring lol
