Amber's got a WASP-y background, and has spent her life both living up to and rejecting these standards. Unlike Wilson, who is delusionally attached to the idea of being Good and Normal but is unhappy living the reality, Amber recognizes that these concepts are absurd performances HOWEVER she logically recognizes that they come with benefits--and she wants those. "Love and respect" seemed impossible, because respect comes with being the best according to society's rules, and love couldn't survive that stifling environment. Now, she can hold on to the respect she craves: money enough to feel safe, wearing pearls and skirts to look proper and upper-middle-class femme, having a handsome-doctor-man-partner, an MD of her own + also still be herself, including un-ladylike cruelty, dishonesty, being part of House's chaotic evil orbit, sexual freedom, atheism, etc.
Amber has spent 110% of her life trying to get enough success to feel safe and stable and happy, so she hasn't developed interests and hobbies because who has time for that give me another coffee and another go at that medical text
Related: Amber hates everything about organized sports, but if she had the time and a friend (*cough* Thirteen) she could be one of those sapphics who gets incredibly obsessed with a women's soccer team or the WNBA
Also related: a sufficiently "productive" hobby I think she'd love is antiquing. Waking up at six AM to drive three hours and wait outside an estate sale and then barge in and make a grab for that antique bureau, fighting off old ladies and viciously snarling down the price--bloodsport for classy femmes!
Amber is a basic chocolate girlie. Caramel is a close follow-up. Vanilla is fine, and she'll pretend to like fancy amaretto or pistachio flavors etc but really she would prefer an Oreo. (Or two...) She will eat max veggies for Health tm and the spiciest food to prove she is Tough tm but really just wants a grilled cheese. A chicken nugget. A spaghetti. Food sensitivities + eating disorder, though she'll only barely cop to the latter, and will not be exploring the former thank you very much she's fine
Amber gets along well with older kids, where she can take on the role of Cool Babysitter, but I think she's secretly a little terrified of being left alone with the tiny incomprehensible, breakable ones, who don't follow the social contract yet and rely on her (!) for self preservation
Amber is naturally a night owl, but medical-land is all early bird, so she's mainly been sleep deprived for the last decade, since she refuses to have a 10 PM bedtime just because she has to get up at 5 AM to make her shift.
Amber's not that interested in fiction ("who has time for that in this reality?") but she ironically enjoys rom-coms for the absurdity, the laugh factor, and the easy comfort of a formula + unironically enjoys action movies because she likes seeing people get punched in the face repeatedly
Amber should take Taekwondo lessons so she can beat the ever-loving shit out of people for fun, and maybe she will after she realizes that the Lulu Lemons in her yoga classes are unbearable, and instead befriend some weirdos gathering at the local gym to spar (Wilson would think this is a great and very attractive idea, House would be annoyed+scared+horny because jesus now he has to wear an athletic cup full-time or she'll crush his nuts for target practice, won't she, c'mon Wilson it's not funny)

How to tackle Fragmented Sleep/ Sleep disruptions :
This post is inspired and geared to help @thisisneededfmr .
Also to every one of those who are going through similar issues. It becomes extremely taxing when you can't sleep peacefully at night. You keep on waking up in between after some hours if not then suddenly you are half asleep which according to me is even more annoying. Being an insomniac or nightmares can make this condition even worse.
Sleep fragmentation can be described as frequent interruption or disruption in the normal sleep cycle. It can cause various chronic health issues as well as have repercussions on mental health.
Ways to tackle Fragmented Sleep:
1) Develop a sleep schedule:
Instead of being a night owl jump into your bed and try to sleep. It will be difficult at first but slowly and steadily you might fall asleep. Count numbers?? Try to sleep at the same time everyday. Because once it becomes a habit you will automatically feel sleepy.
2) Avoid Caffeine or any foods that result in hyperactivity:
Coffee is infamous for making you feel nervous and jittery. So avoid it before bedtime hours. Any kind of foods that result in a hyperactive nervous system cancel them out.
3) Practice relaxation techniques:
Listen to calming music, do breath work, meditate, read a nice book before you fall asleep. This might help in calming your nerves.
4) Exercise regularly and do yoga before sleeping:
The benefits of exercise are well known to us. I don't want to waste my time in convincing you about it. There are some specific yoga asanas you can do before sleeping and trust me it works like wonders. One of my friends when I used to live in a dorm made us do it and the sleep after that was just a chef's kiss.
5) Limit screen time before bed:
The radiations emitted by the phone or electronic devices disturb your sleep cycle. So try not to use your phone before you fall asleep. In fact at my home this is a rule we never sleep with the phones near us. They are kept at a great distance so that the quality of sleep is not disturbed.
6) Try not to do work or other activities in bed:
I read it somewhere on Tumblr long back please if anyone knows the blog kindly tag them in comments so I can give the reference here. It stated that you should only use your bed for sleeping as it will automatically signal your brain to sleep once you are in there.
7) Address your mental issues:
Most of the time sleep fragmentation is caused by psychological problems. Is there something you are trying to escape from? Or are you in a stressful environment? Depression? Anxiety? Adhd?etc you get my point right. Try to fix those issues. Your problem might be arising from there. Who knows.
8) Check your medicines if you are on any:
Literally!!! I am not kidding. It's really serious. Some medicines put your nervous system in hyperactive mode resulting in fragmented sleep. Check with your doctor and share these things with them. If the problem has started after you started the dosage maybe it's responsible for it.
From here the suggestions are based on personal experience with no scientific data to back it up. Use your own discernment.
9) Hug someone or something and sleep:
This works for me sometimes. If there's someone you are close to then try asking them if they would be okay to sleep while hugging you or holding you close. It's therapeutic. Plus it helps in relaxing the adrenaline in your body and brings you out of the survival mode.
10) Sleep in an open space:
Sometimes our bodies are not able to relax in a confined place. It's part of a phase especially if you have trauma related to closed areas. It can be triggering for your body and your brain might wake you up in between to look for danger. So sleeping in an open space like a balcony or something might work.
11) Keep a knife under your pillow:
I know this sounds ridiculous but it's a belief in our culture that doing it solves sleep related issues. Especially if you are having nightmares. And even if it doesn't work you have a knife to swing if someone attacks you in case. It's cool.
12) See a doctor:
When nothing of the above helps and even your own techniques that you might know it's high time you take professional help. It's not something you should ignore.
Being stated all that I really wish you a GOOD NIGHT SLEEP and pray that you overcome these issues. There are a lot of underlying causes that result in sleep fragmentation but the main one being Stress, Trauma, Emotional distress,etc.
So find a friend and vent it out if you are going through any negative state of mind. If you don't have anyone my ask box is always open. Drop a message and I will try to reach out to you as soon as I can.

Do you have any thoughts on what post cannon Regina would be like?
Hmmm... I'm gonna choose to interpret this one as "what are your headcanons for Regina post-graduation" because I've mixed a lot of my senior year Regina headcanons into my other posts already.
This is a tricky one because in my mind there are multiple universes with many Reginas but I'll do my best.
Has chronic pain for the rest of her life, which is sensitive to both the heat and the cold so she has serious beef with the weather.
Drinks too much coffee bc she believes she is above matters of the flesh.
Works out a lot but also begrudgingly takes up yoga for the health benefits.
In universes where she's single in college then she has a string of casual flings that go nowhere because she's too emotionally unavailable (chronically single Regina, if you will)
Business casual Regina my beloved... I think she owns like 30 slightly different blazers and she just wears them in public like they're normal clothes.
She's a lawyer and whenever anyone makes a Legally Blonde reference to her she pretends to be offended.
Willingly works in family court which everyone she knows regards as masochistic at best and insane at worst. She has a bit of a reputation among her colleagues for being completely numb to the cases that make "good" people want to quit their job forever.
(when they aren't looking she hands out candy to the kids who have to sit through custody hearings. if she ever got caught doing this she would change her name and leave the country)
Actually enjoys filling out paperwork because she's a psychopath.
Draws up meticulous five year plans + gets really annoyed if/when they don't work out

1. Are you named after anyone?
No, no odd or old-fashioned middle name either.  :-)
2. When was the last time you cried?
Ugly cried? At the end of November.
3. Do you have kids?
No.
4. What sports do you play/have you played?
As a child, I pretty much hated all sports. Now I do yoga and cardio pretty consistently because both come with health benefits that my adult self can appreciate.  
5. Do you use sarcasm?
In my head, I do so very often and freely.
But in interactions in real life it very much depends on who the person is to whom I am talking. If I think someone is smart and good-natured enough to get that I actually like them and that I am not trying to ridicule them in a mean and hurtful way, I might use mild forms of sarcasm on them on occasion.
Irony is a different matter. I could not exist in a world where I could not use irony relatively freely and frequently.
Online, however, I mostly try to avoid both irony and sarcasm as they rarely translate well.
6. What is the first thing you notice about people?
In real life, probably their general appearance (i.e. posture/body language, hair, clothing, face, voice)
7. What is your eye color?
A blue-ish green
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
No scary movies for me, please – way too boring and formulaic for my taste.
I love a good thriller or crime show if the characters and the storytelling are compelling.
Happy endings for the sake of happy endings are absolutely overrated.
To me, the most important question is: Does the ending fit the narrative and the characters? If it does, I am fine - happy even - with any kind of ending.
9. Any talents?
I don’t think I have what one might call a hidden special talent.  On the upside, I am reasonably good at a lot of the things that I do or have to do on a regular basis.
10. Where were you born?
In a hospital somewhere in Germany - nowhere special.
11. What are your hobbies?
The usual: reading, gardening, knitting (Thanks Spatort fandom for allowing me to rediscover how much fun knitting can be!), yoga, my dog.

Yes, a dog.

In school, I loved languages and history.
15. Dream job?
As a kid, I wanted to become an archaeologist – very, very badly. And although I did not become one, my 8-year-old self would probably be very happy with the kind of digging into things that I get to do in my current job and be very proud of me.

she turned cold over the last few years, refusing to talk about what went on at camp
has lived a rather nomadic lifestyle from ages 19 to present
she’s dabbled in all sorts of jobs from bartending to modeling to nannying to some minor escorting
met a fitness coach in providence peak who showed her the benefits of good health and is the reason she got her certificate to teach yoga classes at humming bee
she dabbles in yoga and fitness training 4 times a week and spends the rest of her time flirting with the locals, stuffing her face with junk food and drinking her weight in alcohol (because to her clients she’s fit but in deed she’s a fraud... THE SCANDAL!)

BIOGRAPHY —
Andrea Eleanor Rhodes was born to Florence and Richard Rhodes in Greenwich, Connecticut. For the most part, her upbringing was complicated due to her overbearing, neurotic mother and often times workaholic father who expected Andie to live in their shadow and lead a life of wealth and privilege. Andie however, had always been a vivacious and capricious, free spirited woman born of the eighties. From the moment she was conceived, her parents had her future all mapped out and already made arrangements for coming out to society during her sixteenth birthday. Andie, of course had a mind of her own. Her rebellious nature and resentful attitude towards her structured and sheltered, silver spoon upbringing was blown to bits the moment Andie got arrested for a DUI and was subsequently kicked out of private school. Embarrassed, her parents sought to send her off to a correctional camp that was built for over-privileged kids who needed a good straightening up. What The Rhodes’ and Andie didn’t realize was, how bad this correctional camp actually was. Their cult-like practices were too much for Andie to handle or endure and so with the help of her roommate at the time, the two escaped after several months. There on, Andie lived a rather nomadic lifestyle from the time she was eighteen to now. She’s traveled the world, tried her hand at numerous gigs and jobs and never held any desire to remain in one place for too long. From waitressing to modeling to nannying to whatever she could get her hands on... she’s done it all. She only recently enrolled in fitness classes and got her certificate to teach Yoga at the Humming Bee in Providence Peak. Colorado was not her first choice destination to lay down roots but so far, it has become the place she’s felt the most at home. It’s wintery climate is a direct reflection of her seemingly ice cold heart. The locals aren’t so bad either. And it helps that no one with her last name or genes know where the hell to find her.
