After the story I was feeling wistful after the story ended and though it never mentioned anything about the sky, I realized I was a little sad because nobody has ever asked me what I see in the clouds - and I spend a lot of time looking up, imagining, noticing, wondering. How would I do it anyway, share my views of gentle fiery dragons, the peace of a giant paintbrush drawing blues and pinks and greys after a storm, birds aloft in sure currents, the transient nature of stars, mountains of clouds mimicking forest animals and sea creatures, tangible warmth of sun rays slicing through morning fog, or how mist kisses valley hilltops. I will always wonder at the sky, mostly quietly.
