My library book holds always seem to hit all at once, no matter how long the expected wait times were. Seven months, five weeks, twelve years. Nope! Just kidding. Here you go. All today. 📚♾️😭

I tease, but this does always seems to happen to me. I really do ❤️ my local library. And you can bet I'll never learn not to have a bunch of books on hold at once, because I always think I have them optimally staggered this time.

Think of books as your umbilical cord to your past.It was your feeding tube or cord .Well ,your connection to your first book ,try to remember that first love that open your communication with the rest of the world.The first illustration with just a few words you could read ,remember how your passion for reading grew ,who inspired you? Or even how you fell out of reading,replacing it with radio or TV. I was always a bookworm ,a mouse that spend hours at the local library devouring topic after topic,true thought I was very young and it was hard at times researching words with obscure meanings ,but i developed a taste for cellulose, like any library mouse would.Well, a note to parents,make time to inculcate the love of the printed word to your children,it will be a great habit to keep when the bigEMP hit us and we will be back to oil lamps solar power and candles. I know ,it may sound terrible but books will be the only way to pass the time ,when all electronics be done with. I know you may think I’m exaggerating such an event , but reading will indeed be essential to our survival,just wait and see!Books will always be around to enrich your kids vocabulary and this alone is priceless ,so if not for your kids do it for yourselves as parents or even grandparents.You will reap your rewards later and who knows one of your family members can become a writer.Words by Sergio GuymanProust.

Hardcovers. Paperbackss tend to have too small font and squishy spacing for me to actually read. And ASPD means audiobooks are a crapshoot and finding a large print is....very difficult in my area.

Hardcovers tend to be the safest/more reliable option for me beyond ebooks and sometimes my eyes need a break from the screen but also wants to read. As for graphic novels:

I read one hardback graphic novel so I wouldn't know. The best I can do is say if the hardback graphic novels have the same/similiar advantages I listed above, then no. It wouldn't.
