hey guys ... i know this isn’t the doja news you want to/thought you’d be hearing this week, but uh i have an update on her sims’s relationship with grandma highforge....

please welcome our new bundle of joy

i had the drawtectives live in my sims world and created a hell dimension

note: in the sims, i like to make a whole bunch of households, but i'll really only ever play with one or two, leaving the rest as NPCs. but every once in a while i like to check in on these "NPCs" to see what they've done while i wasn't paying attention.

now. three of those NPCs are the drawtectives.

grendan has: started a woohooship with doja cat

rose has: done so much. but here are some notable ones

york: funnily enough, works in retail. has no enemies. only ever comes home to eat food and go

Its 1am but lisyen to me. Grandma is the most normal out of their group of three. Like yeah obv she's weird he's A drawtective and also in season one he's such a fail and a loser who doesnt shower enough but transition saved xem so much like it has an apartment.. A job.. eats regularly (I just KNOW rosé and york completely forget to eat sometimes) etc and also shes literally Just Some Guy. York is a prince and rosé is an ex thief but listen to me listen to me. Im literally making all this next shit completely up but you must know they have a strained relationship with their family who couldnt care less about her as a person and only want him back with them so they have an heir and they wouldve cut contact if they weren't struggling with who would take over the business when whoever has it now is gone and she has such complicated feelings towards them because they're his parents and they're not a hateful person but obviously everything about it is shitty and she gets regular letters from them trying to get him back and xey never respond in any way (but they still read them and he doesnt know why because all it does is ruin her day) and he just doesnt think about it most times because he's got family now and xe is happy with dogwalking and detecting and druiding and maybe the first time one shows up post found familying it changes her demeanor completely and york and rosé know somethings wrong and ask and help them through it and she's not ever talked about their family in a non casual way before what then. They need to take away my head I'm just making shit up but Grendan highforge save me.. Save me grandma highforge..

Solar Justice, Harper's cousin who is a defense attorney and very begrudgingly defends her on cases.

His counterpart the hot half-elf (not his boyfriend Harper shut up) prosecutor Piano.

And my actual self-insert-ish oc Brook Shelf the halfling librarian who had to deal with York and Co during the learning-to-read arc (they were very frustrating but also hot which kinda made up for it).

After S3 Ep2 I've also decided Brook has a roommate who works at the bookstore in Midnight Alley; they sleep at the apartment during the day and Brook sleeps at night and their introverted asses are both happy. I haven't fleshed them out beyond "probably they/them".
