Thinking about the ghosts Eugene sees following the drawtectives. Ghosts of dogs following at Grendan’s feet, waiting for a leash that’ll never come. Ghosts of Northern Tribe orcs cheering York on as he bests someone in arm wrestling. Ghosts of mysterious faces— some proud, some scornful— looming around Rosé. Ghosts of poor souls looming around Jancy, a few brave enough to ask Eugene to pass along their thanks for her solving their murders.
