I love this show so much, Julia Lepetit the ARTIST THAT YOU ARE!! S2 is definitely my favorite so far (though it's way too early to compare to s3), and for so many reasons!

I love this show so much, Julia Lepetit the ARTIST THAT YOU ARE!! S2 is definitely my favorite so far (though it's way too early to compare to s3), and for so many reasons! I'm obsessed with the worldbuilding, the trippy interplay between life and death, dream and reality, truth and fiction, and the ways we see ourselves, which can be turned against us by exploitative forces outside our control. Eugene my BELOVED. I love drawtectives, and I'm so excited to see how the story continues to unfold <3

As for the piece, the most difficult part of it was definitely the colors. As it turns out, putting together 4 separate patterns means you end with like 25 different colors. Ultimately though, I'm so happy with the result, and I hope I did the drawtectives justice!

it's a mystery comedy actual play series on youtube created by Julia LePetit of Drawfee, played by the other members of the channel. It's a completely homebrew system where Julia as the GM draws settings and NPCs for the characters to interact with. There's no dice based checks, it's all reliant on their ability to question witnesses and notice things in the drawings.

season 3 is coming out right now, and you don't need to have seen 1 & 2 to enjoy it (there's some recurring characters but the plot/mystery is all new). and there's a seasons recap if you want that context before jumping in.

I of course recommend watching it all bc it's so fun but I get it if you wanna get caught up with the ongoing season. I will say, having watched the two earlier seasons, I'm SUPER impressed and appreciative of all the work Julia put into this season. It's very cool to see the real-time improvements in both her art and GMing skills imo.
