It's again hard to compare because of different timeframes, but comparing this year to the last five months of last year, there was an overall decrease in references.

Conclusion

We broke both records of no references this year (bringing both to 22 episodes without incident). I was starting to wonder if I would have to change things up! But as always, the bits came back around, and I bet they're here to stay.

And though I've had my suspicions before, this blog was officially interacted with by the creators for the first time this year, when David liked my post challenging them to a fist fight. Fun times! Also, scary. Get off my lawn.
