The Toonami Trending Rundown for May 31 and June 1-2, 2024. For the first time since April 15, 2004, Toonami would return to airing on a weekday timeslot on Fridays with Toonami Rewind as part of Adult Swim’s expansion to 5pm to showcase classic Cartoon Network programming. The inaugural lineup featured the return of Sailor Moon to Toonami for the first time in 23 years alongside an hour of DBZ Kai and OG Naruto. 

And fans on social media responded very positively to Toonami Rerun’s debut. On Twitter, #ToonamiRewind trended in the USA alongside Sailor Moon and DBZ Kai.

Meanwhile on the regular Toonami late night lineup, Zom 100 returned from its three-week hiatus, and Demon Slayer begun its rerun of the Entertainment District arc in the meantime. In terms of trends, #Toonami trended in the USA on Twitter alongside My Adventures with Superman and Zom 100. #Toonami also trended on Tumblr.

This week’s feature was a game review of Dave the Diver, developed by Mintrocket studios. It received an 8.5 out of 10 score.

Despite the present upheaval at Warner Bros Discovery, the current success of Toonami was paramount to Cartoon Network and Adult Swim creating Toonami Rewind. According to Jason DeMarco on Blue Sky, “It was the network’s idea to try a second Toonami block since they are very happy with the performance of the Saturday night version. They wondered if a throwback Toonami would be interesting. We liked the idea!” And assuming things go well, Jason says he has “all kinds of cool plans to bring more shows in” including shows Toonami has aired in the past, Adult Swim action shows, western animated action classics and more.

Of course, that all depends on if people continue to watch Toonami Rewind every Friday as with regular Toonami every Saturday. So be sure to keep watching (or at least set your DVRs) and help contribute to the social media buzz if you’re into it. SHJDKHHJSDHSKJAFHKSAHFKJD YOU DUG THROUGH ALL THE LORE AND I AM HAPPY TO PROVIDE THE FREE SEROTONIN (rewatching the anime has fed my selfship nonsense).

So your first question: why did Satoru insist we get married on my birthday? He is VERY much a sappy romantic and tries not to show it. He thought it would make me super happy to celebrate something as wonderful as our wedding on my birthday and he was right.

The second question's answer: the idea of having a farm was heavily inspired by my modded Stardew Valley playthrough (there's a Satoru mod where I can date/marry/have kids with him). But considering that Satoru is loaded and living somewhere peaceful where we could just mind our business is something I wanted, he figured best birthday/wedding present ever. It's a big patch of land, mostly focused on crops. We do have pets (okay one pet--a black cat that we named Suguru) and crops are just a variety of what seeds I can get my hands on. We have a fruit tree grove on the farm too, but Satoru finds it fun how I sell off some of our crops for some extra money. It became a cute little thing to do even though we really don't need the money.

Third question's answer: I have went into a haunted building and the forests a little walk away. Since I'm spiritually aware/sensitive to spirits, but I have no cursed energy, Satoru worries that I'd get hurt if he's not with me when I go anywhere that could be perceived as dangerous. I went digging in some mines once and I came back with, like, a shit ton of rocks and I was like "Let's make a fish pond". If you could have SEEN the look Satoru gave me. I know he worries about any cursed spirits attacking me and he isn't there to protect me, but he's also dating a Puerto Rican witch (I mean that literally, as I am a follower/worshipper of Lilith. I have her sigil tattooed on my shoulder).

Isn't the idea of Satoru on a farm hilarious? He is so city boy, but he'll bend over backwards to make me happy (even though I also tell him that he's allowed to be taken care of too). And yes, he does! I don't force him to help me, mind, since growing the crops and everything was more my interest, but he loves seeing me happy and he wants to help me where he can.

Sure, the Anti-Fernfire family has run the spa and castle-like hotel that Anti-Fairies have migrated to for hundreds of thousands of years, but his mom would rather do paperwork with Anti-Cosmo and his dad would rather fiddle around with his inventions. What's a little spa heir to do? ... Take control at a young age, that's what.

Foop and Anti-Whistle aren't stepbrothers, but they are crechemates: Anti-Whistle lives at the Blue Castle and is someone Foop grew up with.

Anti-Whistle and Foop are painfully similar in a way neither will admit: They both prefer taking charge and can't stand working in unorganized conditions. But while Foop struggles with analysis paralysis, the threat of losing his inheritance hanging over him in a way that keeps him in line, Anti-Whistle's at risk of losing his inheritance if he doesn't act. Despite his nerves and frequent panic attacks, he seizes control, comes out successful, and is widely admired by the same crowd that shuns Foop as being an out-of-hand fireball. Good thing that won't come back to haunt the political landscape...

Despite being arguably more successful at running things than Foop is, Anti-Whistle is a massive suck-up who is constantly trying to impress Foop with his political skills... Foop knows Anti-Whistle will be useful someday so he doesn’t want to cut ties with him, but he finds him incredibly annoying. It's a shame the guy would probably be a great partner to rule beside...

Foop’s dream is to be the first Anti-Fairy to graduate from the Fairy Academy, so he sees fellow student Soren as the rival who stands in his way. When Anti-Cosmo returned from his mysterious disappearance (à la “You’ll Never Know”), Foop finally went back to school and was assigned to be Anti-Whistle’s roommate. That didn't last long, and Foop was placed with Poof, Sammy, and Finley again instead.

As part of their counterpart link, Anti-Whistle has crushes on all the same people Whistle does (Foop included) and doesn’t really know how to deal with these feelings... Whistle is overly excited to talk to his crushes while Anti-Whistle is a panicky mess.

Anti-Whistle makes a few appearances throughout 130 Reasons Why I'm Fairy Trash and other projects. He usually appears in Blue Castle scenes during Foop's youth or 'fics about school, such as "Sentry" (where Foop sees him on the playground and young Soren gets spooked), "Naptime" (where Foop throws a sleepover), and "Approval" (where Whistle brought him along to the high school dance).

Two young people, walking hand-in-hand through luxurious gardens, with sunflowers blooming all around them. He stopped and moved to stand in front of her. He was tall, taller than her, especially with that heavy golden crown on his head.

She zoomed the video and saw a little smile on the girl’s lips. She couldn’t remember the last time she had seen her smile like that. Not at him.

The King took the Queen’s hands and kissed them reverently, then she said something. Something funny, because he started laughing.

His laugh was never subtle. The whole castle heard it whenever he roared in happiness, though she couldn’t remember the last time he had laughed like that in her presence.

The video continued with the interview. She knew every word by heart, she could recite them and never miss a word, or a pause, or a chuckle. She had seen it time and again. Especially in the last few years. Whenever she felt the need to revisit a feeling, to remind herself that once joy exceeded pain in her family, she turned to that specific video. Particularly to the parts that shouldn’t have aired. To the unauthorized footage. The scenes from before and after the interview, when the King and Queen were alone, and themselves.

Don’t go.

You know I have to.

You don’t have to.

A conversation she had heard hundreds of times: her asking him not to go, begging him to stay; him insisting he had to.

Luna … I’ll be back before you know it.

That’s a lie.

She couldn’t hear their words. Nobody could, yet she did hear them. In her heart. In the memory of countless other occasions like that one.

I’ll come back to you. To you both.

The King knelt. He wasn’t wearing his crown anymore. Nor was the Queen. He knelt in front of her, circled her waist with his strong arms, and kissed his wife’s small bump, before resting his head on her belly. Her pale hands stroked his hair. White on red. Like a solitary cloud in a summer sunset.

“We love you.”

“I love you, moonlight. Always.”

Those two sentences broke her, like they always did. She stopped the video and looked at them, at her parents: together, younger, happier, unaware of what the future would bring, of how unkind it would be to them, to their little family.

She cherished that video, everyday she thanked the snoopy camera crew for disobeying her father’s orders and recording that private moment, forever engraved in her aching heart.

Her parents loved each other once. Arranged marriage or not, they had come to love one another. She had come from an act of love. In nights like that, when depression struck and her own feelings threatened to tear her heart apart, when she couldn’t find comfort in loving arms, she looked for it in those images. And she always found it.

There was love between her mom and dad. There had been, at least. Though now they couldn’t so much as greet one another without it ending into a fight, Stella knew she would always have the memories: hers, flashes of her playing with them on the beach; theirs, from their own stories; old articles, photos, videos, and that interview especially. Because she never had to imagine how the conversation had ended, because that last exchange had been recorded as it was. Filled with words of love.

Axel points out how Ven & Roxas look identical & then they both become more curious to their parents history. Come to find out, Ven finds out Roxas' father is his real father, & that he & Roxas are twin brothers.

Hikari University Ven & Roxas are able to patch things up between their families. He's still struggling with recognizing Roxas' dad as his own, & not his uncle. Ven is close to his mother's husband, who he always thought was his dad & he always treated him as such. Ven is still crushing on Strelitzia & hasn't shared his real feelings with her yet. He tries to accept that she's happy with her new girlfriend & move on but Strelitzia gives him steady hints that it's actually him she's in love with. Skuld blurts to Strelitzia how she knows they both love each other & then Skuld tells Ven. Ven finally makes it known to her about his feelings for her & they begin a relationship & sleep together.

Lifelines A year after Hikari University, Ven is still dating Strelitzia & the two have moved in together. They are both taking things slowly, day by day & allowing whatever's meant to happen, happen while enjoying their time together. Ven eventually gets his memories back & begins training along with the other characters, preparing for an epic battle ahead. However, Ariana warns them they must leave the realm they are currently residing in & travel to a secret realm to keep their future children safe from a new enemy, Victoria. They travel to this secret realm & live there for six years. During this time, Ven & Strelitzia get married & have a daughter named Vivian.
