Red Warrior Hawke, becomes a Templar after his mother’s death, hates Justice, rivalmances Anders, sides with the Templars at the end, and gaslights Anders into joining him in the battle.

Now I gotta try and complete my “canon” DAI run!!!

How many handlers/caretakers are there, do their methods ever differ, and do the boys have any favorites?

There are two main caretakers who spend the most time with the boys:

Kaze, and Aijin.

Kaze is somewhat of a specialist when it comes to elemental abilities, so he was brought in to help the boys uncover their true potential.

Kaze isn't necessarily a good caretaker, often being the role of abuser, but he does care a lot for the boys, and deep down, he hates hurting them.

He is just a strong believer to the Order's cause.

And Aijin is one of the best scientists/doctors the Order has, so she was brought in to make sure the boys' health is all well and taken care of, (aka she's there to make sure the experiments don't kill them.)

Aijin is definitely the most "kind" to the boys, and is the best at emotionally manipulating them. She's the kind of person who would sing them a lullaby during a surgical procedure haha.

Another handler that the boys interact with is Jūryoku, who you could say is in charge of the project.

He is definitely hands down the most cruel to them, having no emotional attachment whatsoever, (unlike Kaze and Aijin.) He shows no mercy, and more than once has nearly killed the boys.

However, Jūryoku knows their limits to a T, so they're never in actual real danger of death. (doesn't make it any better though.)

He doesn't spend as much time with the boys as the other two.

There are a few others that have come and gone, but these three are the main ones who have been around since the start of the program.

Has some one made a theory about the handlers yet

I couldn't get a really good picture because I was spectating a random for a bit I died on floor 9 in front of the elevator ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

First time it happened to me and it won't be the last

Astro, Shelley (I think her name was),dandy, vee and sprout are standing next to their handlers

I know sprout isn't a playable character at this time but I think only the main characters had handlers

You ever think maybe dandy wanted to do a little art project and make toons of their own or something?

usually silly billy bucket cheese attempts at bringing things to life and creating said life leads to this sort of thing

The existence of handlers implies that humans really do exist here so what happened all the humans is this an abandoned studio type of thing like BATIM or something

it would explain why there are multiple versions of the same characters and why there are twisted and non-twisted versions of the characters

President Biden’s inner circle has gotten smaller following his disastrous debate last week — with his wife’s top aide Anthony Bernal emerging as one of the 81-year-old’s key advisers alongside longtime confidante Mike Donilon, four sources close to or inside the White House tell The Post.

Bernal, 51, is a divisive figure for allegedly bullying and sexually harassing [male] colleagues — and his influence was likened by three sources to that held by the mystic Grigori Rasputin over the family and court of Nicholas II, the last czar of Russia.

First lady Jill Biden considers Bernal her “work husband” and he’s also close to scandal-plagued first son Hunter, whom Bernal greeted with a hug June 11 after his felony gun conviction.

The “openly gay” Bernal is an alumnus of that finishing school for Inner Party Elites, the University of Texas at El Paso.

“Donilon and Bernal are 100% the most important advisers post-debate,” said one Democratic source close to the administration.

… A White House source told The Post that many of the president’s old guard of longtime aides are believed to be left out of the loop of discussions “about what’s next” — saying Bernal, who frequently vacations with the first family, “seriously” has a Rasputin-like pull over the first family.

Another source said they agreed with the Rasputin analogy — describing Bernal’s influence and immunity from consequences for alleged personal misconduct as perplexing to fellow aides.

“He’s like a tick who has just latched himself on for the last 15 years,” this source said.

“Accurate and on point,” said a third source of the comparison to Rasputin, who was murdered in December 1916 by rivals who believed he was contributing to poor decision-making in the months before the outbreak of the Russian Revolution, in which the royal family was ultimately toppled and killed.

“Everyone has kept their heads down about Bernal and just tries to avoid him at all costs,” the third source said. “But everyone always predicted that this movie would end badly because of how he treats colleagues and always poisons the well for anyone else with the Bidens.

Pilots are?

Status Report of BA-8410n 

as long as we've had A.N.V.ILs we've needed pilots to use them, no matter what AI is made it can't seem to handle the load like a human brain, and for every pilot there is a handler thinking for them

the former C.O Jerimaiah Licht of the BA-8410n base had an idea on how to make handlers and pilots more efficient, make them spend time together, and have the handler treat the barely human thing coming out of that mechanical deity like a pet. Have the pilot treat their Handler like an owner instead of a superior officer, It worked for a while, for half a decade BA-8410n had unprecedented successes, mech were coming back in better condition and pilots hadn’t needed replacing. The owner/pet system was deemed a complete success and was instituted in full across Eden, 

Then the Handlers started going against orders, not enough to be noticeable at first, slowly but surely Pilots got more time in between missions, their “Quarters” turned from kennels to something closer to a human living space the battle-stims got less dangerous, the Pilots became less agreeable to harsher missions.

It all came to a head after a bad op on Planet BA-8410n, with Anvil Pilot 53RP-NT callsign “Orchard” assaulting C.O Jerimiah Licht whom was criticizing their Handler, one Sergeant Lily Adams, even if Pilots are weaker when out of their metal skeletons they had to be at peak physical health to survive the Neural Link process and drugged out of their minds a normal human could barely survive a minute with one that was holding back.

Six hours later the body of former C.O Jeremiah rolled out of the med bay and into a casket to be sent to his home. It wasn't the first time a Pilot had attacked a “comrade”, but it was the first time a Pilot simply stopped when told to, “Orchard” stopped attacking when their Handler called them, waiting beside Sergeant Adams. It’s unknown why Orchard didn’t face capital punishment nor why it attack Jeremiah, according to sources that wish to stay anonymous, “everybody knows Adam’s father is part of Eden’s top brass, of course she would stop her dog from getting put down”,   “Licht gave her a nearly rabid dog and found out what happens when you threaten its owner, idiot brought it on ‘imself”,  “don’t tell anybody i said this but,‘Orchard’ spends every minute out of combat in Lily’s private quarters” and “Pilots are pets we all know it, and who would let their pet get put down”

Handlers have a different role in programming. Their methods/tactics are different but not less traumatising.

Handlers tend to use more psychological tactics when interacting with a system and physical methods are limited to a few.

1 After David had constructed buildings for himself in the City of David, he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it. 

2 Then David said, “No one but the Levites may carry the ark of God, because the Lord chose them to carry the ark of the Lord and to minister before him forever.”

3 David assembled all Israel in Jerusalem to bring up the ark of the Lord to the place he had prepared for it. 

4 He called together the descendants of Aaron and the Levites:

5 From the descendants of Kohath,

Uriel the leader and 120 relatives;

6 from the descendants of Merari,

Asaiah the leader and 220 relatives;

7 from the descendants of Gershon,

Joel the leader and 130 relatives;

8 from the descendants of Elizaphan,

Shemaiah the leader and 200 relatives;

9 from the descendants of Hebron,
