So I finished my “canon” da2 run with a kinda evil Hawke

Red Warrior Hawke, becomes a Templar after his mother’s death, hates Justice, rivalmances Anders, sides with the Templars at the end, and gaslights Anders into joining him in the battle.

Now I gotta try and complete my “canon” DAI run!!!

Cats/Love/Safety

YEEEE, I really need to prepare for the upcoming days but I’m having difficulty. Also @andersweek2025 since they mentioned wanting to also be tagged. Now then

Once again inspired by the beautiful Accursed Ones in the concept stages, as Merrill is the one to gift a cat to Anders and it’s absolutely precious. Then I considered my Warden Stellan gifting the cat. Which quickly reminded me of the line where Anders references having to bring Ser Pounce A Lot to the deep roads. So! This is them in their downtime in the deep roads together.

Now you might be curious about the how this is safety, but to me they’ve carved a small moment of safety out in the depths of evil. Also I will fight you, to me Awakening is the best example of found family in the dragon age series. They do love each other to ME.

Healing/The Fade/Power

I hade a few different ideas, briefly doodled. I considered the idea of healing whipping wounds on a fellow apprentice in the circle, or someone in the clinic, a brief idea had to do with helping a woman get an abortion. None progressed much. Then I considered the spell “panacea”, wondering if I could make use of it.

I’m much more satisfied with my final outcome, Justice “healing” a fade rift in Awakening as Anders watches in awe. My headcanon (stolen by @thethirdamells Accursed Ones on AO3) is that the rifts on Blackmarsh are closed by Justice rather than the power of Warden punch.

I really enjoyed the composition of this one, and am excited for tomorrow! (Also Vik let me know if I should do a @/ if I tag you in the future, cause gonna be real Accursed Ones will inspired a lot of these haha)

DAO folks, plus DAA cause I love them. All of them a drawn to look about how I headcanon them at the start of DAA (hence why Anders is still a golden boy). Plus some general headcanons.

Specific praise to @kesterite cause I used their art as inspiration for specifically Sten and Alistair.

Gahhh ok I’m. It the most proud of this one. I feel like I could do so much more and make it look a lot nicer, like adding detail to the npcs faces and stuff. But by the lord I do not want to, that takes way too much energy right now. Honestly I think the most of these that I’m doing are well suited to ��first drafts”.

Anyways, this is basically a scene stripped straight out of @thethirdamells Accursed Ones, though I forgot Anders specific hair and outfit situation so I just snagged it from the concept art. I had a few other considerations, but oh boy. Not a single one would have been easy that’s for sure.

Fucking finally finished it!! Anyways, My current body headcanons for the origins crew and my thoughts for their camp outfits!

My Stellan romanced Zevran and has an old god baby with Morrigan - note that he and Zev are both wearing blue and that Morrigan has blue gems in her fit. I drew it so no other characters wore blue!

For Sten I referenced the qunari concept art for his body, and Oghren I couldn’t figure out any clothes he’d wear. So. Underwear it is.

OOOHHHHH BOY, alright, this is the first one I haven’t preprepared much. So the next few days are probably gonna be rough on me! I might come back to all of these pieces after this week is up, since I’m mostly doing all the work in the actual day. Anyways, @andersweek2025

As you can see, I did consider the cannibalism short story, but decided to drop it because I couldn’t come up with a clear concept. Also! ANOTHER POSSIBLE ACCURSED ONES IDEA? Insanity. Clearly I have a perfectly normal obsession. Clearly I focused hard on loss and longing rather than dreams, but you could say that he’s having a nightmare about Karl’s death, or that Karl, having been made tranquil, was cut off from dreams.

But gods I’m getting tired, not really the fault of Anders week though, it’s just… me, really. Haha. Mental health is rough. Anders why don’t you cure me already?
