I think I deserve a little vinelend romcom where they go to the same university and they're just hopelessly in love with each other and they go to meet vin's family and elend immediately wins over her uncles sazed, breeze, ham, and clubs but her dad kell and uncle dox tries to intimidate elend because that's vin we're talking about that's their baby girl but everyone clearly sees how elend genuinely cares about vin and it's all happy and mushy and fun and just lovely

Mistborn Era 1 Incorrect Quotes Generator
Elend, Kelsier & Ham: *screaming* Vin: *runs into the room* What's wrong, Ham?! Elend: Wait, why are you asking Ham that when Kelsier and I are also here? Vin: Because Ham wouldn't scream unless it's an emergency. You two scream whenever you have the chance. _____ Breeze: New year, same me. Because I'm perfect. _____
Elend: If you put 'violently' in front of anything to describe your action, it becomes funnier. Elend: Violently studies. Breeze: Violently sleeps. Ham: Violently practices. Dockson: Violently shoots pictures. Vin: Violently boxes. Kelsier: Violently murders people. Ham: Violently worries about the previous statement. _____ Vin: It's not like I try to blow things up, exactly. It just sort of happens. You've got to admit though, fire is fascinating. _____ Vin: I feel like I can be myself around you. Elend: You’re weird and quiet around me. Vin: Yes. _____ Dockson: *sees someone doing something stupid* Dockson: What an idiot. Dockson: *realizes it's Kelsier* Dockson: Wait, that's MY idiot!

Kelsier, Vin, Hammond and Elend all play Mario party.
Kelsier constantly gangs up on Elend and bullies him in minigames and steals his stars, Vin is screaming at him, Elend is confused, and Hammond is grinning like a mad man.  Despite all this, Elend wins at the end because of the bonus star bullshit.

ID: Three comic pages of Ham, Kelsier and Vin. First image. First panel shows Kelsier and Ham sitting side by side. Kelsier is wearing a long sleeved shirt with his mistcloak falling over the back of his shoulders. He has medium length blond hair. His eyes are half closed and the whites are bloodshot. His mouth is open as he speaks "Yours again, Ham." as he passes Ham a blunt. Ham is a muscled man wearing a tattered open vest that barely covers him. He is accepting the blunt from Kelsier. He has dark, military-cut hair and his eyes are also bloodshot. He has a smile on his face. In the second panel, there is a close up of Ham holding the blunt in his mouth, the tip red. The third panel is a side view of Ham as he holds the blunt away from his face. He is blowing a white smoke ring out from his open mouth.
Second image. In the first panel, we are still on a side shot of Ham. He now has his mouth closed but is blowing smoke from both of his nostrils. His eyes are red and he seems contented. The speech bubble next to him is written inside the smoke he's just blown out. It reads "Lord Ruled, Kel! This stuff... is... powerful."
In the next panel, Vin is shown sitting on an armchair by herself, looking calm. She is also wearing her mistcloak over the back of her shoulders. She has dark colored hair that goes to her shoulders, and her eyes are red. Ham's arm is reaching out to pass her the blunt which she is taking from between his fingers. Vin looks like she hasn't slept in weeks. The speech bubble comes from Ham which reads "Here, Vin." In the third panel, Vin is holding the blunt between her fingers away from her face. She has her eyes closed tightly, now leaning forward in her chair. The speech bubble reads "What did you say this was?"
Third image. In the first panel, Kelsier takes up the entire frame. He has red eyes, raised eyebrows and a smirk on his face. He is holding up one hand in a relaxed position, his fingers curled in the air. The speech bubbles read "This is the flower Mare left me... she called it... ghost train haze." In the second panel, we see a side shot of Vin. Her eyes are open again and she is leaning forward as she holds the blunt to her lips. Her speech bubble reads "Oh..." in the final panel, Vin is shown moments later holding the blunt away from her face. Her brows are furrowed and she looks confused. Smoke comes from her nose and the speech bubble reads "What the fuck is a train?" /end ID

If We Had Cosmere-Themed Chess Sets...
Now that I think about it, these might simply exist. B-But anyway, here's how I think a chess set could be constructed thematically from various Cosmere books.
[Spoilers! I wouldn't read these unless you've read the series mentioned in the title]
1. The Stormlight Chess Set
King: Elhokar. He is the king and also, and I say this gently, he doesn't do much or go very far, typically. Just like the king in chess! Queen: Jasnah. Is the queen...albeit at a different time than her brother is the king, but eh. Very powerful. Can move anywhere. Might be the strongest piece on the board. Bishops: Kadash and Pai. I just think they should be Ardents, and I picked my favorite two. Knights: Renarin & Adolin. Renarin because he should be the piece that moves in the most unique way. No one else moves in an L shape! And Adolin? Well...not gonna lie. I just think Adolin should be a horsey piece. Rooks: Dalinar and the Sibling. Dalinar because he needs to be a piece that is strong. That moves in a firm, straight line. That can do that castle move which is about protecting the king. And the Sibling because they are literally a tower. Pawns: Bridge 4. Main purpose was to be sent out to die, although if they make it allll the way across the board they can get a very special powerup and become one of the most powerful pieces on the board.
2. The Mistborn Era 1 Chess Set
King: Kelsier. Yes, the game is supposed to end if the king dies. No, Kelsier-King does not play by the rules. Queen: Vin. I mean, she's a Mistborn, which to me is parallel to being the piece that move in any direction as far as it wants. Very powerful. Bishops: Hammond & Dockson. Stand on either side of the queen and king. One can only move on black squares, and one can only move on white, which symbolizes how Ham & Dockson are on the same side but rarely see eye-to-eye. Knights: TenSoon & Marsh. Knights make hard turns as pieces, and these are characters who are always making hard turns: TenSoon from one side to other, from one body to another (and yes, I gave him the animal piece. Sue me). And Marsh from human to Inquisitor to, uh, Death I guess. Rooks: Demoux & Spook. I can't tell you why rooks read as "true believers in Kelsier" to me, but they do. And I kinda like these two as a pair. Pawns: The Skaa army that Kelsier tries to recruit. Sorry to those men.
3. The Mistborn Era 2 Chess Set
King: Harmony. Can't do much himself, but does direct the other characters. If he gets killed (shattered), the game could be over for Scadrial. Queen: Wax. Harmony's sword. Can zoom all over the place killing other pieces. Bishops: Steris & Marasi, as the resident believers in Survivorism. Knights: Wayne & MeLaan. Yes, I'm realizing that I see kandra as the little horsey pieces, I guess. And the knights can't move straight. And neither Wayne nor MeLaan are straight either. Rooks: Ranette & uh...Marsh again? Am I forgetting someone? Why are there so few characters in Era 2? A-Anyway, Ranette and Marsh definitely make sense because they're both, uh, support characters. Ranette making weapons. Marsh dropping info. And the Rooks are there to support the king! Pawns: All the kandra. Pawns of Harmony, every one. Bleeder is the really angry one determined to make it across the board and get promoted.
4. The Elantris Chess Set
King: Raoden. As a dead guy trapped in Elantris, Raoden doesn't have a lot of moves he can make. But dang is he really good at doing a lot with a little. Queen: Sarene. Sarene, on the other hand, has a LOT more freedom of movement and she uses it. Bishops: Hrathen and Dilaf. Hilarious to have them on the same side as Raoden and Sarene, I know. But listen. They gotta be the church pieces. Knights: Galladon and Karata. Since knights trace out the letter "L" and the Elantrians need to draw symbols in the air to do magic, I thought...wait. I swear this made sense in my head. Rooks: Kiin and Eondel. Kiin because the rooks kinda look like they're wearing a crown and Kiin was due to become king, and Eondel because he's the guy who has the strong private army. Pawns: I think it would be fun if the pawns were people with the Shaod, since they could become really powerful but they aren't currently.
5. The Warbreaker Chess Set
King: Siri. Not only does Siri spend the whole book being shuffled from one room to another (like the king can shuffle one square at a time), but a major plot point is Keep Siri Alive when the other side tries to kill her, so. Queen: Susebron. I do want Siri and Susebron to be king & queen, and it just works better this way. Once he gets his powers figured out, he's an all-powerful sort of guy. Bishops: Lightsong & Blushweaver. They're literal religious figures. Knights: Vasher & Vivenna. Mainly because they're warriors. Rooks: Parlin & Llarimar. I know Llarimar should be a bishop because he has the hat, but I like the Returned gods as bishops. So I made him the rook--and Parlin too (as soon as I remembered he existed. Sorry, Parlin). They're both there to support/protect another character. Pawns: I think they should all be soldiers from the Lifeless army.

A Lesson in Mischief
A Mistborn era 1 fanfiction
Summary: Kelsier manages to annoy Marsh to his breaking point, resulting in some well earned consequences. Vin, thinking the worst, gets between them to stop what she perceives as a fight. Marsh decides it’s a great opportunity to give her a lesson on how they settled disputes growing up.
⚠️⚠️WARNING!!!⚠️⚠️: as per usual, this is a tickle fic. Don’t like, don’t read. Thank you💙
Platonic tickling between siblings and friends.
Vin sat, trying her best to blend in with the wooden chair she perched in. The crew and herself were gathered in the kitchen of Clubs’ shop, enjoying a drink together and relaxing.
Or at least they were, until Kelsier had decided to direct his jokes at his brother.
Marsh managed to laugh off the first couple, poking fun at his constant scowl, his clothing, his grumpy air, but Kel had gone and went to far.
He mentioned the rebellion.
The moment the words left his mouth, Marsh threw his chair back, grabbing Kelsier by the front of his shirt.
Vin was surprised no one had stood to stop them, the rest of the crew watching amusedly as Marsh grappled for the upper hand, Kelsier clearly utilizing his pewter to stay up. She watched, tense, scenarios running through her mind of what used to happen to her whenever she drew a past crew members, or her brothers, ire.
Marsh managed to get his brother into a headlock and in a sudden burst of energy, Vin dashed at them. Igniting the pewter within her, she shoved Marsh back by the shoulder, hard, and stepped between him and Kelsier as he slammed into the wall behind him. Kelsier froze, shocked, Marsh wheezing from the impact.
“You, uh… is everything alright, Vin?” Kelsier said, peering around her shoulder to look at her. She didn’t look back, keeping her eyes on Marsh as he got his breath back, standing and glaring at her. “He told me he never beat you.” She said, staring down the older sibling. “I knew I shouldn’t have believed it. I won’t let him hurt you.”
That earned a chuckle from the room. Vin flushed, but didn’t back down. Marsh’s eyes widened, then he scowled deeply. “I wasn’t going to hurt him!” Vin put her arms out to the sides and backed up, further “protecting” Kelsier behind her. “He really wasn’t, kid. Believe me, if I thought he was even thinking about hurting me he would have been down before anything started.” Kelsier placed a hand on her shoulder, not missing the slight tremble she had. “And you protecting me? Sweet, but not necessary.”
Vin glanced back at him, relaxing slightly, confusion rising as he smiled.
Marsh scoffed, glaring at Kelsier. “Step aside, Vin. I still fully intend to correct that cocky attitude of his.”
Kelsier nervously took a step back, hands up in defense. Vin took that as a sign to hold her ground, flaring her metals again. Ham sighed loudly, standing.
“Come on, sit back down.” Ham coaxed, making a grab for Vins arm. She allowed him to take it, but didn’t budge. He sighed again, pulling her away from the two. She protested, clawing at his hand, but didn’t stand up again as she was unceremoniously dumped into her chair. “Once Marsh has his mind set on revenge, particularly on Kel, it’s best to just stand back. It’s a bad idea to get in his way when he’s like this.” Ham explained, keeping a hand on her shoulder.
She looked at him, feeling almost betrayed on Kelsier’s behalf.
“I don’t blame her for being suspicious.” Breeze piped up, lounging in his place. “You know she had an unfortunate upbringing, Hammond. I doubt she has any good memories of her childhood with a brother like…. What was his name again, child?”
Vin flushed again, glaring at him. “Reen. And stop talking about me like I’m not here.” She spat, crossing her arms.
Marsh hadn’t attacked again just yet, listening to the conversation beside him. He felt a swell of guilt in his chest, knowing full well the fear she must have for her friend. He really didn’t intend to hurt Kel, at least not much, but an arm bar until he gave in probably wouldn’t help his case.
Okay. New plan.
Doing his best to calm his anger, he turned, smirking. “I really don’t want to hurt him. I just want him to apologize.” He said, failing to remove the venom in his tone. Vin did not look convinced.
“You were treated poorly. There’s no excuse for what Reen did to you, and the emotional scars are still healing. How about a lesson in how sibling disputes should have been handled, hm?”
Marsh suddenly launched himself at the younger man, earning a yelp. He managed to spin Kelsier around, pinning him against the wall with one hand behind his back, shoving his shoulder between Kelsiers shoulder blades to keep him pinned. Vin made to stand again and was stopped by Ham, who grinned and shook his head.
Marsh looked back at her, a mischievous smile gracing his features. She didn’t think she had ever seen him smile before. “First lesson,” he said, making sure he had a good grip on his younger brother. Kelsier struggled, pulling at his arm and trying to arch away from the wall. “Pain isn’t the only way to make someone regret what they did.”
With his free hand, he latched onto Kelsier’s ribcage, skittering fingers and digging his thumb in rough circles at his lower ribs.
“Wait- no! That’s not fair!” Kelsier cried, barking a laugh and descending into frantic cackling. Vins jaw dropped.
“See? He’s fine.” Ham said, removing his hand from her shoulder. Looking around the room, she saw Spook, in the back as always, giggling at the display, egging Marsh on in his strange street slang. Dockson hadn’t looked up from the ledgers he was working on, but held a smile, listening to the nearby scuffle. Clubs still held his permanent scowl, but his eyes were softer, and Breeze and Ham were just plain amused. Sazed grinned openly, watching the display, the book in his lap long forgotten.
Marsh held Kelsier against the wall, struggling to hold his weight as his knees began to buckle. “Lesson two;” he said, grunting from the strain. “Gravity and fatigue are your friends.”
Not letting up, he shoved both hands up under Kelsier’s arms, making him shriek, giggly protests ringing through the room. Still tickling, he lowered Kelsier to the floor, flipping him on his back and straddling his waist. “It takes a lot of practice to get to this point, but he’s been annoying his whole life so I’ve had a lot of opportunities.” He sneered, digging roughly into Kelsier’s hips. Kelsier whined before winding up to loud belly laughter. He started to yell out protests and threats, kicking wildly and trying to pull Marsh’s hands away. Marsh looked to Vin again.
“Notice how he’s saying ‘no’ over and over again? Telling me to stop? He knows that’s not what I want. So, clearly, he’s fine.” He teased, resorting to lightly skittering his nails over Kelsier’s sides and stomach.
“No I’m not!!” Kelsier squealed, his face burned red as his giggling turned high pitched. Vin found herself laughing at his protests, leaning forward in her chair to see more closely.
“Vin! Help me!” He said, reaching out for her and quickly slamming his arm down with a yelp as Marsh scratched higher into his armpit.
“If you help him, you’ll get tenfold what he’s getting. Don’t think I forgot you trying to stop me.” Marsh met her eyes, grinning menacingly.
He always was more intimidating than Kelsier. Vin had been on the receiving end of Kelsier’s mischief a few times before, but something told her Marsh would not be as merciful or playful.
Over Kelsier’s screeching, Vin could hear Ham chuckle. “Ever wondered where our resident tickle monster learned his skills? He learned from that menace.” The room chuckled in agreement, several wincing at a particularly loud squeak.
“Lesson three;” Marsh said, having to raise his voice over the hysterical man beneath him. “Wear your victim down over time, so they’re more inclined to give you what you want.” He raised his hands off of Kelsier, hovering them a few inches away from his skin. Kelsier continued to giggle, trying to pull himself away from his older brother. Marsh cleared his throat, getting Kelsier’s attention.
“Apologize.” He said, stern but not angry.
Kelsier paused, staring at the hovering hands. He stayed still, giggling fading to tense silence.
“I. Said. Apologize.” Marsh said, more harshly.
Suddenly, Marsh began to lower his hands, so slowly it was nearly unnoticeable. At least to the audience. Kelsier’s eyes widened.
“Five.” Marsh said, staring him down. Kelsier began to laugh again, shaking his head.
“Four.” Kelsier grabbed Marsh’s wrists, trying to hold them back. He began begging and pleading, bargaining, but not apologizing.
“Three.” Marsh raised an eyebrow. Apparently Kelsier usually gave in before three. The room had mostly gone back to what they were doing before the fight, though they still listened. Vin watched intently, basking in her friends laughter and play.
“Two…?” Marsh tried, almost as if giving his brother an out. Kelsier was frantic, scraping his heels against the floorboards.
“Okay! Okay fine!” Kelsier yelled, breathless with laughter. “I’m sorry. I take back everything I said.” He panted, clearly relieved as Marsh pulled his hands away and stood, leaving him in a giggly heap on the floor.
“See? No beatings and he still feels remorse. I got my revenge. No blood, no bruises, only a few tears.” Kelsier glared at him from below, wiping away his mirthful tears with his sleeve.
“You caught me off guard. If I had known that is what you were going to do, I would have-“ he cut off as Marsh cocked an eyebrow.
“Do you want another dose? You may be too tired after another round to help me with your little friend over here.”
Kelsier grinned, Vin paled.
She tried to escape, but Ham put his hand back on her shoulder, shaking his head.
“Trust me, just get it over with. It will be worse if they have to hunt you down.”
Vin stared with wide eyes as Kelsier stood, both him and his brother watching her with predatory expressions. They were daring her to run.
“I’ll hold her down and tell you her spots, you do the rest?”
“Deal.”
Vin yelped as her chair was dragged forward, Kelsier iron-pulling on the nails. He swooped down, sitting on the floor behind her chair and pulling her arms behind the back, holding them with both hands. He wrapped his legs around the back legs of the chair to give himself leverage against her struggling. Sitting in an awkward criss-cross with half a chair between his legs, he peered up at her. “Don’t worry, I’ll make him be nice.” He winked, shifting his grin towards Marsh, who slowly approached.
Breeze laughed, nudging Ham with his elbow. “When is the last time you’ve seen these two not only agreeing, but collaborating on something?”
“Years!”
“Someone tell the Keepers of this monumental event. I dare say this could mean the end of the world as we know it!”
From the corner, Sazed chuckled. “I shall record this in earnest, master Breeze. And warn anyone who may cross their paths that they have resorted to unconventional means to overthrow the Final Empire.”
The group laughed, now intently watching the trio. Dockson had even set aside his ledgers to watch fully, propping his chin in his hand.
Vin squirmed, trying not to look Marsh in the eye. She felt a bright blush rising to her cheeks, fighting back a nervous smile.
“What’s wrong, Vin? Why won’t you look at me?” Marsh asked, a grin in his voice. She squeezed her eyes shut, thanking her senses as she heard him crouch down in front of her.
“C’mon. Open your eyes. You know you won’t be able to hold back forever.”
She shook her head, pulling more frantically at Kelsier’s hold. She tried to kick, flailing her legs blindly in front of her. Warm hands fell onto her knees, pushing her legs down. She tried to knock them off, but Marsh held firm.
“If you keep trying to kick me I’ll go for your feet first. Kel, what do you think? A good spot?” Marsh teased, laughing as Vin immediately stopped her fussing. He took his hands off of her.
“Only if you want to kill her. Probably not a good starter, but definitely on the list.”
She could hear Marsh lean around her. “Oh? There’s a list?”
“A mile long. She’s worse than me, if that’s any indication. Worse than Spook, even!”
Vin heard a quiet “hey!” from somewhere behind her. She had to fight down a laugh at that, she’d have to test that information out.
“Look at me, Vin.” Marsh said, trying to sound friendly. She shook her head.
“Just one peak, then you can keep your eyes shut as much as you want.”
Pausing, she took a deep breath. Then she cracked one eye open.
His hands hovered a couple inches away from her sides.
She yelped, trying to throw herself backwards out of the chair. Kelsier laughed, holding fast as the chair tried to lift off the floor. She thrashed against his grip, shaking her head wildly.
“No! No don’t!!” She begged, finally letting a smile slip into place. Marsh laughed, wiggling his fingers teasingly. As nice as it was to see him laughing, she would have preferred it not be at her expense.
“Are you ready for the next lesson?” Marsh asked. She squirmed, swore, and did damn near anything but agree.
“Let this be a lesson in mischief for you,” he said, finally reaching out and digging into her sides.
“Never mess with my brother and I.”

If he weren't experiencing the collapse of his society I bet Elend would write some quality fanfic
Shazed so happens to misplace it with Dox's ledgers and journals (Dox does not tell Kelsier), Breeze finds it on Dox's desk (bc Dox does not want to deal with it) and complains about it to Ham, who starts wondering about the ethics of writing stories of real people
Spook wants to burn the book
Kelsier still doesn't know about it
Vin refuses to divorce Elend so he can run away
