funnily enough all of these couples and WLW couples, which I have lovingly decided to call "my lesbians"

#1 Cleo + frida kahlo (clone high)

- beautiful, no words

-the are really funny, like this ship was so left field for me but they became my favorite part of this entire show so quickly

- I just love their dynamic of tall pretty woman and little gremlin who's obsessed with her, but fridas also the chill one in this instance and Cleo is the freak

- they are the calm in whatever the fuck is going on with the rest of clone high

#2 Megan + graham ( but I'm a cheerleader)

- if you have not watched this movie please do holy shit

- it's just ??? so sweet ??? opposites attract kinda dynamic, sweet girl just realizing she's gay, and veteran lesbian who acts all mean cause she's too scared of letting anyone close to her again

- this movie is phenomenal and so funny, and they make me cry every time

#3 elodie + Enid ( ok KO)

- I will never stop talking about them

- they walked so questioning lesbians everywhere could have an intense all consuming slightly gay relationship with their best friends and then the friendship explode and they never speak again

- I am so a sucker for childhood friends to enemies to friends again to lovers

- they are canon in my heart

- their just too cute and sweet, and I love crazy optimist brings the sheltered A+ mean girl out of her shell

#5 Susie + Noelle (deltarune)

-these little freaks

-noelle being obsessed but also so damn nervous is so cute

-susie is so fucking stupid oh my god

- again, opposite attract, but this time it's dumbass chalk eater (yeah) and the straight A student who is smitten

- I love them your honor they need to be happy or I will explode

#6 and final pairing, rei + Hanna ( not so shoujo love story)

- ok if you haven't read this webtoon, please do oh my god

- it's mostly comedy focused but like

- THE ROMANCE

- Hanna is so fucking crazy, and so is rei but in the opposite direction

- everyone in this series is fucking insane

- their friendship is so funny, and like, the slow burn as you watch the feelings get caught is immaculate

- please read it I'm begging you I need more people to talk about this with, even if romance is not your thing, the characters are so funny it won't matter

Noelle shone her flashlight down the deep, dark steps of the bunker in the woods, and took a deep breath.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Kris asked. "We don't know what's down there."

Noelle steeled herself. "If there's even a chance Dess is trapped here…we have to try, Kris."

Kris nodded, and the two of them began their descent into the earth. The stone beneath their feet eventually turned to metal, and the space opened up into a large room with lots of strange, blinking devices.

"What…is this?" Noelle asked softly.

Kris took a cautious step forward, looking around. "Seems like some kind of laboratory."

Noelle moved over to one of the machines, which had a big, wide screen, displaying…wait, no, that couldn't be right. "Is this Monster Tumblr?"

"What." Kris walked over to her and stared. "Wait, holy shit, it is. And are they talking about…us?"

"Noelle is so skrunkly I want to laminate her and keep her in my purse," Noelle read aloud. "That's, uh…"

Kris leaned forward and began scrolling down. "Noelle is just like me for real…Noelle is such prime blorbo material…"

"Blorbo?!" Noelle exclaimed.

"Here's a picture of a video game text box of you talking about how you want Susie to push you to the ground and laugh at you, captioned 'Naurrrrrrr girl' with a skull emoji…"

"Th-That never happened!"

"This one says, 'Noelle can commit a little murder as a treat. God forbid a woman do anything. Besides gamers aren't people she did nothing wrong.' " Kris turned to her. "You didn't kill anyone, right?"

"Sorta seems like it." Kris pointed at something and giggled. "Here, look, there's a drawing of you freezing Berdly in ice."

"Come on, it's just a joke." Kris smiled. "You'd never actually do that. That's why it's funny."

Noelle looked away. "I guess."

Kris kept scrolling. "Oh, here — it looks like you got fourth place in the…'transfem swag' tournament on tumblr? Look at the comments: Noelle is such a trans icon, I want to steal Noelle's gender, Noelle has so much transgender swag it's insane…"

Noelle blinked. "I'm flattered, but, um. I'm not trans?"

"Trust me, it's a compliment." Kris poked around a little bit more. "Oh, but look at this — I got second in the 'nonbinary swag' tournament. So basically I beat you."

"Yes?" Noelle stared at them. "Because you're actually nonbinary?"

"But it means I have more swag than you, Noelle."

"Okay, this is—" Noelle rolled her eyes. "This is nonsense. Let's not waste our time on weird, fake tumblr posts about us."

Kris stepped away from the screen. "You're just mad I have more swag than you."

some other random observations I've made about deltarune so far:

-both of the (main) final bosses so far have had some parallel to the one of the lightners going into the Dark World that chapter. obviously there's the King with Susie, he literally recycles some of her dialogue from the beginning of the game after his boss fight.

-but we also know that Noelle's mother is apparently "tough on her" according to Rudy; she's conspicuously missing from the list of people Noelle says she "feels like she can say 'no' to"; and even the other townspeople find her intimidating. seems like a bit of a (presumably) well-intentioned, but overbearing and strict mother character type…

-speaking of Noelle, she is down atrocious for Susie. this isn't deep at all I just wanted to mention it because holy shit

-between the main trio, Susie and Ralsei both heal 120 HP from the other two party members' own-flavored teas; Kris also gets 120 from Susie's, but only 60 HP from Ralsei's. I don't really know what to make of this yet.

-also Noelle gets goddamn 400 HP from the Susie-flavored tea. she only even has 90 max to begin with!

-the wording of Ralsei's line about the Grand Fountain – "As long as it stays flowing, any Darkner can live there" – is worrying to me

-apart from Susie at the very beginning of Ch. 1, no one really seems to actually... dislike Kris. most think they're a bit of a weirdo, but also have some good to say about them / friendly interactions with them

-god. dammit i was listening to the OST while writing this and the Ferris Wheel track made me tear up. how does toby always do this

-BTW the calendar in Noelle's room in the mansion was because she was searching "december holiday" over and over again. ur welcome

-interesting too how Noelle and Kris both have an older sibling they admire and have a close relationship with that isn't with them currently and they miss dearly.

NOELLE AND KRIS

okay so. i think i've mentioned this in other posts before, but the whole event that starts off everyone finding out dess and kris arent actually dead is that kris dives into a dark world! theyre trying to close a dark world like dess does, because they think that maybe!! that way!! dess will come back and be proud of them and love them and then she wont leave so much! because kris can close dark worlds too, see? now they can go with her!

they tell this to frisk, swear frisk to secrecy, and then! vanish lol they're Gone. the way dark worlds work here also isnt fully solid but im treating them sort of like mystery dungeons in pmd, so they dont fully follow the laws of like, physics and the like which means that even tho where kris lives is Very Far from hometown, noelle, susie, and ralsei are still able to get to the same dark world from hometown!

do not ask me what this dark world is like. i have No Idea. probably somewhat inspired by kris's life but i have not gone so far as to plot it out lol. the important part is that susie and ralsei split off from noelle (like in cyber city) and so noelle ends up running into kris, who has not only gotten lost but is in WAY over their head lol, so she saves them and kris begrudgingly agrees to stick with her. they totally couldve done this on their own. theyre sticking with noelle for her own safety. and noelle is just like yeah sure lol.

while traveling through the dark world together, noelle and kris have no idea who the other is! not only do they not really remember each other (noelle has a few vague memories, kris was even younger when dess took them so they dont remember anything at all), but they've both grown up a lot and in kris's case are fully presenting as a monster. they bond a bit over both being deer-monsters!

they cant fully communicate, tho...kris would be nonverbal throughout this entire trip and since noelle never grew up with kris she doesnt know monster sign language. she might remember a few words from her childhood but not enough to understand kris and even if she did she is a stranger so kris wouldnt sign OR speak to her anyways lol. but they do help each other out and close the dark world together! they come out in hometown and noelle promises to help kris find their parent cause they did Not mean to come here lol, and that is when! she checks her phone and shes gotten a text from toriel about a missing kid, and she's like....hey so uh i think your parent might actually be at my house lol wanna come by.

(while kris was stuck in the dark world, frisk got Very Worried and did eventually spill everything to chara, and thats how chara and frisk end up in hometown desperately trying to find kris! they come across toriel who helps them out and thats why they're at the holiday-dreemurr house).

and so things are all fun and fine until noelle and kris get back to noelle's house, and go inside, and kris is reunited with chara, and when that happens toriel sees this child and is like. holy shit. is that my dead kid.

and the fic would end there lol! (in my head this is a series, so, it would span multiple fics) another fun thing is this is the moment where noelle learns kris's name--so it wont really be a surprise for the audience cause i feel like most people could catch on that this is kris (remember up til this point we only follow noelle and the hometown crew, so we think dess and kris are dead), but if you didnt...

NOELLE AND DESS

honestly i dont know how noelle would react... i feel like she wouldnt have as big a response as everyone else! to her dess is less a person and more like, the story she's told as to why she cant do all the same things her peers do, why her mom + stepmom are so overprotective, why asriel stayed behind instead of going to college...dess loves noelle but noelle is like literally who are you. so when dess tries to like, bond with noelle, noelle doesnt want this...she grew up without a sister and that bond isnt going to form again! she doesnt know who this woman is!

its. very hard for dess needless to say. and for kris who sees how much dess is investing in noelle and theyre just like. okay well why was she never like that with me. which then leads to tensions between noelle and kris, which pushes kris to make some Very Bad Choices, and and and. plot <3

RALSEI AND SUSIE

actually the relationship ive thought about the least if im being honest. but i was talking about them to you last night and i think that like...there IS a level of antagonism that doesnt exist in deltarune canon. ralsei is trying to hard to stick to the prophecy, and when susie in this story's version of chapter one ignores it to be a villain with lancer, that hits A LOT HARDER in a world where from the very start the prophecy is being broken (since its two monsters who fall lol)

plus ralsei is also dealing with a lot of feelings shes never felt before--jealously, envy, not being able to just ignore her dysphoria anymore...shes a lot more aware of her crush on noelle and so noelle having a crush on susie isnt helping...

LIKE THEY ARE FRIENDS i think ralsei feels a LOT of guilt about all of this, and when its just her and susie things are good! they make sense!!! susie makes her wanna BE things wanna feel like maybe these things she feels are okay...but then everything always comes crashing down and its. bad again.

like… is it bc of him being condescending towards noelle? Bc the point of that is that he’s condescending to everyone, even his best friend. His self worth is tied to being seen as the smartest kid, because he believes if he’s not the smartest he is just forgettable. He even admits he knows noelle would have won the spelling bee and been “the smartest” if not for her choking up at the word december. this is something we’ve only just seen him start improving on, (even if he kinda takes the wrong message from susie telling him it’s okay to be dumb) but we are shown he’s making an effort to be more grateful towards noelle regardless.

and if it’s about him assuming noelle has romantic feelings for him? It’s because berdly has a very complicated relationship to romance, tied to his aforementioned self worth being tied to his smartness. He believes that noelle could only possibly want to be his friend despite knowing she’s smarter than him (he reveals she helps him study more than vice versa) if she was crushing on him, despite the fact that noelle has the most obvious lesbian ass crush I have ever seen from a video game character. This amatonormative outlook he has is further shown through his immediate crush on susie the second she’s even slightly nice to him, he has grown up with the expectation that anyone being nice to him unrelated to him being a “genius” has to be met with romantic attraction.

Like holy shit YES berdly has issues he needs to sort out, but saying he’s an incel is such a fucking insult to the games writing. He’s more fucking complex than that.

I recently decided to contiue working on this fic after a year of ignoring it and I think it's really funny how basically no one but me will be able to enjoy it. I don't really care if no one reads it though. It's fun and I want to continue it.

There’s like a charm to it, it was the first fanfic I’ve ever written and it literally at its core was just a take on Deltatraveler except with games I like. And then it just spiraled into absolute nonsense, and I love it for that.

I can’t recommend it to people though because I would have to say “Okay before reading the fic you need to play Mother 3, Omori, A Hat in Time, Trails of the Sky FC, Celeste, Pikmin (idk even know which Pikmin I’m doing in the fic yet lmao) Majora’s Mask, and also understand that the Prologue and most of Part 1 were written while I was in high school, and it was the first non-educational related writing project I ever worked on so get ready for some messy writing. I hope you can enjoy it despite how inaccessible it is?"

I would post updates for it on this account, but I don't know if people care. I get zero comments for it and the Walking Dead fic I started got the same number of kudos not even a year since it was posted and way more comments. (Mostly because it's better ngl. Read that fic, I'm really proud of it. It's called "It's just a bad dream Sweet Pea.")

If you want to read Shattered Across Worlds just know it's very rough, especially the Prologue, but I hope I can show my improvement as I writer from when I first found out I enjoy writing in 2022, to now and even the future. Cause I don’t think I’m a good writer now even, I still think my narration is awful and I’m terrible at describing environments and character expressions. So, if I get better, I guess this fic will be able to show that in future arcs.

Also, why the fuck did I make this fic potentially over 100 chapters long. (The chapter count isn't accurate anymore btw. It's even longer than that.) What the hell was wrong me in Highschool to have my first fic be that long?! No wonder it was abandoned for like a year after part 1 finished. I’m looking at the outline for part 2, and holy shit what the hell is wrong with me. Why is this double the length of Part 1?! WHAT WAS I THINKING?!

Deltarune Caracters' love languages

Holy shit this is so fucking late I wanted to post this earlier but I forgot and the mutual I wanted to see this is already asleep holy shit I'm an idiot so anyways happy valantines day that's almost over already :D

King: Touch. He likes to feel close to someone he trust and wants to make sure their ok. He's not good with words but if he feels safe with someone, he'll get more physical like holding hands, hugging or even carrying them around

Queen: Gift giving! This ones pretty obvious. She likes to give material things she knows the revealing party will love since she can't really offer much physical or emotional comfort.

Rouxls: Acts of service. He's always chasing after those he cares about and making sure their needs are met beyond the basic necessities.

Seam: touch. They're very cuddly and are willing to help someone if they just need a hug or cuddle. They're not good with words, as they feel like in times words can be useless, so they're more about actually offering up something, rather than just saying something that may be calming.

Lancer: Quality time! Self explanatory. If he trusts them, he'll want to spend more and more time with whoever he's close to, even if it's something small, like a walk or watching tv, he just wants to be around that person.

Ralsei: Acts of service. He's very lonely and a way he wants others to know he cares about them is by doing simple things, like cooking or cleaning. If he cares deeply about a person, he'll go beyond what is expected, like baking(actually baking, not just with his cauldron) or fixing something for them.

Susie: Quality time and physical touch. She loves spending time with those she cares about and can/has/will drag the other person into her messes. She likes to know the other person is there so she'll be more touchy with hands and shoulders

Noelle: Gift Giving. She's considerate of what other people like and will go out of her way to get that person something she hopes they'll like

Berdly: Words of affirmation. For the most part, berdly sees himself in a pretty high pedestal, but if there's someone he cares about, he is willing to bring himself back to level and boost the other person instead(does this make sense?)
