atsumu has never acted a day in his life, and sure, he’s hot, has a charmer of a smile and the physique of a god. but the moment he speaks, all of that gets thrown out the window immediately.

oh, so it's time to cry then. i can't explain the rage i feel over this deleted scene. ik there are many scenes that shouldn't be deleted, but give me ONE GOOD REASON why this was deleted. exactly. there is none. his pain is so palpable here, the deflection, Sue's genuine worry, Cam's performance, the context of the scene... so much better than the downgraded replacement or parallel of Ian at Trevor's house. i wish we could've gotten this over that. this is Ian being genuinely upset, and idk wtf was him showing up at Trevor's house.

i feel the need to say i don't hate or dislike Trevor... at least not s7 Trevor, but i do hate the obvious attempt at replacing important scenes with Mickey. if anything i feel he probably would've comforted him in other ways, had the writers not been pieces of shit. like just... idk man.

and i also appreciate Sue a lot here cause she's experienced, she knows that Ian is trying to cut the conversation away, but she doesn't let him. she continues to push her support in a non-invasive way, and Ian is receptive to it, but he's never been one to ask for help. i genuinely think that if it wasn't for her, he would've kept bottling things inside instead of taking a moment to let it all out.

i will forever be pissed about this.

anyway, Ian kills me here... this scene is so important to Ian's professional life (and frankly personal too). someone give this boy an actual fucking hug. my son.
