it’s really sweet that ren has allowed himself to be so expressive now. the use of emojis when texting people, getting excited when yatsuhashi calls him. you can see his funny little quirks and true optimism shining, even when he’s struggling to keep everyone’s spirits up. he’s slowly overcoming the initial fear of being judged by the people around him if he ever unmasked and is now choosing to be himself, unapologetically, even in the worst circumstances.
