How Lance became Lancey – ls.18
stepdad!Lance Stroll | series
word count: 1305
summary: Lily’s first time at the paddock could be something challenging but, luckly for everyone, Lance had everything undercontroll. Will he win the race or will he win a tittle even more important than that?
Tumblr media
Since Lance had asked Lily for permission to date her mother, the girl's life had changed a lot and not that much at the same time. The change had largely been for the better, except for the noise of the mixer early in the morning, which was usually offset by pancakes waiting for her when she woke up.
The biggest change, however, had been Lance's constant presence at her house. It wasn't that Lily was complaining, obviously she liked the Canadian and always having him near her, but it was a little confusing having him within reach for a few days and then going other days without seeing him.
Without meaning to, every time Lance left, Lily couldn't help but think about her father, whom she hadn't seen in months and about whom she didn't know anything most of the time.
The main problem was that, as happened when Lance left or when she saw her father on a rare afternoon, her life continued as if nothing had happened after that. She barely had any memories that it had even happened to hold onto. Or even a hope that it would happen again.
Her mom had explained to her that Lance was just travelling for work and she could see him every night through her mother's cell phone. But it wasn’t the same.
And Lance had quickly realized this when he saw how the girl behaved when he left and when he returned.
The couple had promised not to run for Lily's sake, but Lance lived for speed, so it was hard for him not to ask them to move in with him as soon as they started dating. However, now he didn't see a better option to make the girl see that he was always going to come back for her and her mother.
He had thought a lot about how to ask his girlfriend. He was aware of how crazy his life was, but they had both already seen traces of it and had not run away, so he thought he had nothing to fear.
He just needed one last test to show them it could work. And that test was going to be the Canadian Grand Prix. His home race.
His father had even helped him prepare everything for their visit. They had decorated a small part of his side of the garage and had brought different things to keep the girl entertained during the race.
Everything had to be perfect for his two girls.
His father had even had a small racing suit made especially for the girl. Green decorated with white flowers, obviously. And of course a matching hat for her mom.
And when the weekend started, half the garage was more worried and excited about Lily and her mother's first race than about the improvements they brought to the drivers' cars.
What Lance hadn't taken into account was that his weekend duties would keep him so busy that he wouldn't be able to spend all the time he wanted with them.
On Friday he had only been able to spend a little time with them before starting the weekend. He had only had time to give them a quick tour and put the little girl in his car –and take too many photos of her there with her little outfit.
“Lilybug!” Lawrence exclaimed as the girl jumped into his arms. “What's this I have heard about you becoming a driver? Do I have to sign you on my team?”
“I did! I got into Lance’s car! Right mommy?” said the girl bouncing in the man’s arms. “Want to draw with me, flower?” she asked once she calmed down.
“Sure! That's why I came to work today.”
At the end of Saturday, Lily was already exhausted from those days of action. So tired that she hadn't even realized how poorly Lance had classified on the qualy.
“It's okay, Lance. You'll bounce back tomorrow, I'm sure. You've had a very good weekend. Lily was delighted watching you run on the screens.” his girlfriend said as they headed to the driver's car.
Lily was asleep in his arms, her head on his shoulder leaving a small wet spot on his team shirt. His father had drained her while they waited for qualifying to start by playing outside, which Lance was very grateful for.
“I wanted this weekend to be perfect. I guess I forgot to plan that I would have to drive well” he confessed when he made sure little ears were not going to hear and be disappointed.
“Don't be so hard on yourself. We are so proud of you,” she whispered, giving him a quick kiss when they got to the car. “And you have nothing to worry about, this is being the best weekend, so close to our first getaway to the beach”.
“At least I haven't been attacked by any crabs here” Lance joked, causing his girlfriend to laugh as they buckled Lily into her seat.
“Don't claim victory, there is still tomorrow.”
And like every time she said something, his girlfriend was always right. After a difficult start, Lance had come back with precision, ready to show his audience today that they had not chosen wrong by choosing him.
And when Lance crossed the finish line in fifth position, climbing more than ten positions, it almost tasted like a podium.
Arriving at park fermé, Lance was welcomed by his girl, his dad and his little bug in his dad’s arms.
“You were sooo fast, Lance!” Lily said excited after shouting at him.
“Did you see, baby?” he asked grabbing her in his arms “I wanted to do it right for you and mom”.
“And flower” the girl reminded him pointing at his dad, whose suit was covered in white flowers stickers much like her little racing suit.
“Yeah, and flower too” Lance corrected himself. “But I wanted to do it super well so that mom and you would want to come with me more times”.
“Are you going to invite us more times?” Lily asked with hope filling her eyes.
“More than that. If you want and mom says yes, I would like to invite you all of the time. And when you can't come, I would like you to be waiting for me at home. In our house, wherever it may be” he finally ask.
Despite all the planning, Lance still wasn't sure how he was going to ask them to live together. He had doubts, but having Lily in his arms and his girlfriend hugging his side cleared them up.
And the smile of his girlfriend said it all “You want us to move together?”
“I want it all together, love”
With a laught, the woman looked at her daughter “What do you say, Lily? Will you want Lance living with us all the time”
"Will he always come back then?" she asked shyly. Suddenly all her energy was contained. She shrank into Lance's chest and avoided eye contact.
Lance's heart broke at her doubt and uncertainty about him, even if it wasn't really about him.
"I will always come back to you and mom, bug" Lance promised.
He wanted to tell her more, to tell her that he wasn't like her dad, to promise her that he would never leave like he did. But that wasn't the place and he knew actions spoke louder than words.
"I love you, Lancey" she murmured hugging his neck tightly.
“Lancey?” her mom asked surprised by the affectionate nickname.
“Yeah, my mommy and my Lancey” the girl explained, hugging her mom too from the arms of the driver, who only hugged them tighter while trying to stop the tears of happiness from falling from his eyes.
That sounded right, he thought. That sounded a lot like a family.

Where The Roses Grow
Author’s note: Su'cona in Husbandry goes with his bonded to the Astarte's run Clinic and his Bonded human is treated by Apothecary Hura. Who pulls him aside and gives him an offer.
Summary: The first one is free.
Warnings: Discussion of chronic pain and illness. Some smut. Let me know if I need to add anything.

You had tried to mask it from Su'cona, not wanting your Bonded Space Marine to worry or fuss, but you realize as he has gently herded you to one of the Space Marine run medical clinics that he had noticed and planned accordingly when this latest Flare up of pain hadn't subsided despite your best efforts. You were used to pain, a constant feeling that ebbed and waned depending on what you did and how the weather was doing, among other things.
Winter time tended to be the worst with the way the cold bit through you and froze everything and made your joints more sore. You didn't have the money to move to somewhere that kept warmer during the cooler months. You are grateful that you have a remote job that only had people come into work for refresher courses or to do a meet and greet with new coworkers.
Your company had gotten bought put by another one recently, so all of your saved time off and been paid to you as a nice big check. Which meant that you had almost no time off, despite working at the same company, with the same people, only with new names and management has been grwt news for you and your health.
You check in at the clinic and fill out the paper work yawning a little and leans into Su'cona's warmth. Closing your eyes, you haven't been able to sleep great and you are glad that Su'cona brought you hear, because while you can drove while half asleep, it worries the him a lot when you do.
It's been nice, sometimes to let Su'cona take care of some things. You feel a little bad that your lack of spoons means that he has had to take care of your shared living areas and other housekeeping tasks. It's nice that he did take over those things with only some fussing over your health and increasing cuddling time with him.
The doctor type person that you are seen by is a Chaos Marine by the name of Hura. Who's quite patient and reminds you of a stinky grandfather type. He assessed you and talks to you and Su'cona a put somwle things and give you some recommendations for your treatment.
Although he switches to whatever language that is common among space marines and says something to Su'cona, who seems to bristle about whatever he had said, but had nodded and the Apothecary nodded and came back with something that almost seemed to glow a sickly green color with a touch of something purple-pinkish.
Some baser instinct within you suddenly had you jolt up out of the chair and try to bolt for the door. Whatever that glowing stuff was, you didn't want to be near your body. But Su'cona scoop ls you up and murmurs that the Apothecary has a treatment for your chronic pain that isn't widely available to the public and that it should help with your pain and other issues. Just to please trust him and not to struggle.
Your head goes a little fuzzy, and your body goes all limp, and you agree to the treatment with a dazed expression on your face.
Hura injects you with the glowing liquid, and you complain at the sting of the needle. You had never liked getting shots, not as a kid, and certainly not now.
Su'cona cooes to you in Gothic that you don't understand as your eyes close for some reason you feel so very tired. You wake up in your shared apartment with Su'cona feeling as if you had lost time. Su'cona rumbles underneath you and gently tugs you back onto his broad, muscular, scarred chest. You feel. Amazing. No pain, no soreness, no lingering tiredness. Your head feels clearer than it has ever been.
How? That's not. Even with medication and holistic management, your pain levels tend to start around four or five and get worse throughout the day. You glanced down at Su'cona who cooes and purrs at you, seemingly very pleased with himself as he presses a kiss to your face and you press a kiss back.
Like whoah. For some reason, now that you look at Su'cona again, you feel. It's really good. And embarrassingly enough, your libido is up.
You've only dated a few people, men, women, other identities it was the person. The personality that they have is most important, while yes, if a person looked attractive, it was a bonus.
If a very conventionally attractive person had an ugly personality, it killed whatever potential attraction you might have had. Also, you could swear up and down that they became ugly to you. Even when other people insisted that the person was still Hot and pretty to look at.
But Su'cona, as you got to know him, became more attractive and wonderful as you got to know him. Your older sibling had teased you that you had a massive crush on your Space Marine. To be honest, most of the time, you felt like you were his human.
Su'cona smiled and pressed another kiss to your face as he pulls you close in his arms as he gently brushed the hair out of your face with one hand, while the other one moved lower and he brushed your clit and lower lips with a cheeky grin on his face.
You squeak at him and turn bright red. But his large, calloused, so warm hands gelt good, and you couldn't stop the moan they came out of you. You unintentionally grind against against his fingers as he teases you open and presses an open-mouthed kisses which you reciprocate as he stretches your pussy open.
You moan in pleasure as his other hand starts to squeeze and play with one of your tit's and he lightly tweaked and tears your ripple that has you moaning in pleasure as he easily flips the both of you around so that you are on your belly as he gently pulls your thighs apart as he starts to eat you out.
"You taste so good, my Spark," Su'cona murmurs to you between almost drowning himself between your legs again.

I don't particularly like how people sometimes portray itafushi as "pretty smart guy x dumb himbo" mainly because, to me, has implications of "there needs to be a dainty guy who's the brains and a big strong guy who's just nothing but brawns" which feels like an interpretation confromed in heteronormativity. You don't have to make one guy in a gay ship a damsel in distress who can't protect himself and only exists to tell the other guy what to do because he's "smarter", and you don't have to infantalize the other and make him dumb as rocks that only know hows to punch and kick and needs constant guidance from his partner on what to do in any given situation. You can make them both capable. You can make them both able to think for themselves and their actions. You can make them both strong. You can find balancing ways to make them both compliment each other. These characters are complex, they exist beyond the character trope boxes you try to force them into.
One of my favorite things about megumi and yuuji's dynamics is that they make up for any weak spots the other would have during a fight. Yuuji acts first and thinks later, and that could be super beneficial for most fights, especially since Curses and Curse Users are known for taking drastic action first, but sometimes you have complex techniques like Inverse which needs a little bit more strategizing first, which is where Megumi, who thinks first and acts later, comes in. Apart from the fact that he just has more jujutsu knowledge than Yuuji, Megumi has a keen eye for detail (see: even in the midst of being severely injured, he managed to notice Hanami's weak point and tell Todo (and later Gojo) about it). He just noticed Inverse's mechanics and quickly applied a strategy to beat him. This is not to say Yuuji wouldn't have eventually figured it out (he's very adaptable and a quick learner!) Megumi just figured it out faster due to his high Battle IQ, but that does not diminish Yuuji's intelligence at all. He's quick on his feet, he's relentless in his attacks (Mahito) and can adjust to any changes in the battle (allies coming to help him). That's intelligence.
On the other hand, we have people who think Megumi is incapable of fighting. Now, this is mostly because Gege gave Megumi so many Ls at the start (😭), but if you see his growth, you can see him plenty capable of taking on opponents on his own. He can fight for himself, he's a capable fighter too. He handled himself well against Toji (despite what the anime wants you to believe), got jumped by 3 people while really exhausted and still won. Just because Yuuji is stronger than him physically (and not by that large of a margin as some make out) doesn't make him any less capable of scraping with someone, fists and all.
You can make them balanced while still having flaws (Yuuji being reckless, Megumi being someone hesitant who always second-guesses his actions) but i get annoyed when those flaws turn up to a 1000

ohhhhh man now you’ve got me brooding over es!sam. it never occurred to me before that among them, he would end up feeling always the square peg in a round hole. the pride and resilience and hope he carried like medals in the first seasons gave him a sense of value and esteem, and i can’t imagine how it feels to be thrown into this inevitability where none of himself remains and in fact the bits he tries to hold onto are an irritant to the quid pro quo in a way nobody will outright honestly explain to him. rather than saving himself and his brother and the world like he thought he would at the end of it all, everywhere he looks is just another form of loss. ls!boys would lap up his es brother, the eager (and adorably naive) hunter with ideas and brawn and something to prove, so much of the same flowing through the blood of all 3 of them, but imagine the grief es!sam feels walking through the cold echoing hallways of the bunker, everything just a nauseating maelstrom of weapons and lore books and charts, no john, no mary, no jess, no wives and no children, no living friends, no presence or interest in the world he always dreamed to blend into, and nobody at his side to truly understand or feel that grief with him. and on top of that the things he feels about dean, complex and ugly and heavy to hold, have somehow been tugged out of him into the open in the future and locked behind a door he has no key to and even touching the knob burns his hand - the derision/amusement of the ls!bros even if they don’t intend it as such, the constant knowing smiles like he isn’t THEM like they don’t know how it feels and how much it suffocates him ohhhh man look what you’ve done to my poor heart with these snippets
YES!!!! ANON!!! YOU GET IT!!!!
first off, your writing is gorgeous?? holy shit?? eating all of your words they are in my mouth now i am sorry
but YES
he would def feel like the odd man out (depending on the season ES!Sam is from) because the other three love the life. they find joy and purpose and meaning in the hunt in a way sam lost. the hunt is a tool. a means to an end.
i think it wouldn't take long for LS!Sam to see the bunker, with the dozens of empty rooms--the shell of a home, only echoes and blades and the collected sum total of knowledge of people long-dead--and ask the group, "is this fucking it?"
no one knows what he's talking about (ES!Dean is so excited because he gets a kickass bunker AND a garage AND an armory AND sammy forever??), but sam is shaking because there are shirts folded in some of the empty rooms' dressers. dead men who thought they'd come back, a physical reminder of every goddamn person they've lost in the endless quest for vengeance. everything sam left for.
"is this all i fucking get?" ES!Sam snaps. "an underground crypt? no wife. no kids. no job. no fucking friends? did the hunt really fucking bury us?"
and everyone goes deadly fucking silent. LS!Dean has to leave the room because it's everything he'd always feared LS!Sam thinks. sam has always needed others more than dean does (or at least, that's what dean thinks, we literally see contradictory evidence in the show but okay). LS!Dean's afraid that sam has always resented him for the way their lives ended up, for dragging sam down with him.
and ES!Dean is crushed because this is his dream. he gets to save lives. he gets to carry dad's legacy. he gets to keep sam, all the unnecessary fluff--a mission to keep them together, girls, obligations--removed. and sam is disgusted by it.
LS!Sam just stares at ES!Sam blankly. he's annoyed with him, before something smaller, something pitying, slips into the shape of his mouth. he gets up to follow LS!Dean, leaving ES!Sam to wallow in his own sick. in this moment, Sam can't even empathize with himself.
and ES!Sam is sitting in the blast radius of his own fury. no one will look him in the eye. LS!Dean looks sick before he leaves the table. no one will answer his questions. no one even tries.
LS!Sam keeps trying to say, "this is what i want, sam. i don't mind. i love what i do, and i love doing it with dean." and all sam can hear is i gave up. i couldn't get out. i'm coping. don't destroy this glass house with a hammer because it's the only home i have left.
and ES!Sam still aches. because ES!Dean is already choosing another sam. LS!Dean looks at him like he has the power to kill him. LS!Sam looks at him like he pities him, which is the deepest cut of all.
poor sam. poor sam who doesn't want to die for this. poor sam who doesn't get us, who isn't us.
LS!Dean, ironically enough, is the closest ES!Sam gets to compassion, but it always feels like blows directed at himself. yeah. it sucks, kid. it fucking blows. i wanted you to get a wife. to get out. i...i tried. i'm sorry. it's more self-recrimination than care.
but GOD! ES!Sam goes for a run and sprints until he throws up because he sees the packed strength of LS!Dean's arms, the crow's feet at the corners of his eyes. he sees the easy way LS!Sam&Dean laugh with each other, the way they talk with looks alone, the naked adoration. he sees ES!Dean and aches and aches and aches and aches and aches. he needs something he doesn't have the words for, something he's terrified to name, because does that mean that he's giving up? does that mean that he's the fucked up one--perverting this easy life that they all clearly adore?
and even the joy he finds--talking with LS!Dean in the kitchen, sparring with ES!Dean in the gym, enthusing with LS!Sam over texts--there are moments. small ones. where sam realizes that the person talking to him kind of stops, content. he's already part of this system, of this unit. sometimes the pauses feel patronizing. or excited. or so full of tension that sam is already hardening in his jeans. or sad. and it's confusing, but sam is walking down the empty hallways, passing rooms of dead men and seeking out his brother, always his brother, always.
GRAH!!! lonely ES!Sam. bitter ES!Sam. joyful ES!Sam. jealous ES!Sam. possessive ES!Sam. ES!Sam choking on the things he doesn't understand--the things he can't--that have made their lives the way they are.
thank you for this ask, anon! it was beautifully written! and now i am also thinking about this! perpetual motion machine of devouring ES!Sam whole!

Fun Leonardo facts
(for anyone stumbling upon this randomly, for context: this blog is run by a 2012 Leonardo fictive. These are fun facts referring to him, not canon)
This is a long list so it's going to be under the cut
Severely lactose intolerant
Despite the internet's claims, he is actually a decent cook
Favorite cake is red velvet
Knows how to swim, but refuses to unless an emergency situation calls for it or if completely alone without anyone watching
Always wearing his wrist and leg bandages. Always.
Sleeps like a corpse at a funeral
Aroace
Secretly enjoys drag on rare occasions (and would rather get thrown through another window than let his family know)
2nd best in the family at computers and technology. If Donnie is too busy, or if it's something minor, go to Leo
Upset that wearing clothes 99% of the time is impossible due to his shell and weird 2012 turtle arm and leg proportions
Would both curb stomp Rise Leo and also make him his #1 best friend
If Leo isn't busy with his morning routine (meditation, making sure the others are awake, etc) then he'll join Donnie for a coffee in the kitchen. Though, Leo prefers his sweeter while Donnie can have his black
Leo secretly drinks coffee, soda, and energy drinks often for the caffeine. He just doesn't make it obvious like Donnie does
Often carries or escorts his brothers to their rooms when it's time for bed. It's common for one of them to pass out in the living room or stay up too late when they should be asleep
Secretly enjoys singing. It's a beautiful art form
Prefers to eat in private
Jealous that Donnie and Raph have longer mask tails
Chronic pain sufferer, married to ibuprofen
Please monitor his medication he doesn't take it properly (he either stops taking it for months or takes a random amount without reading the label)
Has a cane for mobility aid, will use it to bonk Raph over the head
Likely has autism + adhd
Has a hidden stash of plushies in his closet
Ambidextrous
Often Leo tries to be lawful good even in video games. But, most games' "good guy" routes end up being boring and he inevitably winds up becoming a criminal instead, to his own dismay
Shameless ACNH and Sims cheater
He cannot process compliments for the life of him. He will either deflect or pretend to be egotistical
Has the bad habit of spending months modding a single game and then playing it for 4 hours before modding some more <- never finishes playthroughs on modded games because of this
Constant Ls. Has only ever won one competition in his entire life
Skin picker. His fingers are covered in bandages for a reason

I try not to post too much TWN negativity on this blog, because I know plenty of people enjoy the show just fine, and I hate being an asshole and raining on other people’s parades. But, god, the way that the show treats Yennefer - or rather, mistreats her - just upsets me and pisses me off so much.
The book already puts her through the wringer - too much at times, honestly - but the show just takes it to a whole new level. The amount of suffering they put her through that wasn’t present in the books is so frustrating to me. Like adding in random torture scenes that weren’t present (the hysterectomy scene, being tortured by Stregebor), losing her magic powers, constantly being captured in S2, not even having a particularly good court standing - like in S1 when Fringilla mocks her for not helping advance Aedirn at all, and Yennefer doesn’t even have a good comeback to that. It’s as if the show is just obsessed with giving her constant Ls and never really letting her come out on top. Sidenote: I am fine with angst, in fact I enjoy it, and I am fine with a character going through hardships and suffering. You can do a lot of great character, story and theme exploration with angst, and sometimes it’s necessary for a character to suffer to develop that. If I wasn’t fine with angst, I wouldn’t be a fan of the witcher lmao. But when I see a character who already goes through a shit ton of misery in the books get forced into even more suffering in the show that never happened....I start to have a problem.
And then, of course, S2 committed the cardinal sin with that stupid ass Voleth Meir plotline. As if torturing her, having her be captured, making her lose her powers, wasn’t bad enough - they completely character assassinate her by making her almost sacrifice Ciri to a fucking demon. Something that is so bewilderingly OOC for Yennefer, something that never EVER happened in the books. When the show got bored with creating narrative suffering for her, they decided to take it to a meta level by character assassinating her in a really bizarre, stupid way. Because, why was this necessary? I know that they were concerned about the fact Yennefer doesn’t really show up much in Blood of Elves, I understand they wanted to create a plot line for her that got her more involved in the main plot. But - why this???!!! There were 101 different plot lines they could have given her that didn’t involve her trying to sacrifice Ciri to a fucking demon, in the process completely messing up her relationship with Geralt and Ciri!!
And this is the main reason I’m making this post - her relationship with Geralt and Ciri being messed up. I’ve seen a lot of articles recently about S3, all stating that Yennefer essentially has to grovel to Geralt, that he ignores her for potentially a full year, that at the beginning he doesn’t even let her enter the same abode as them - what the fuck!!! It upsets me so much. Because this was the biggest problem with the VM plotline - it completely upends Geralt and Yennefer’s dynamic. In the books, their relationship is way more equal - in fact, it honestly would be accurate to say that Yennefer is the more dominant one in the relationship, not Geralt. The show is now completely turning that on its head, and making Geralt the dominant one - but not personality wise, more in a moral highground type way. Because now, whatever stupid shit Geralt does, or has done in the past - e.g. tell Yennefer she’d be a terrible mother, which he never apologises for - none of that matters!! Because it will never be as bad as Yennefer trying to kill Ciri. Instead of a relationship where they both fuck up and both make mistakes, like in the books, in the show the emphasis will all be on Yennefer. Yennefer is the one fucking up, Yennefer is the one making absurdly stupid mistakes, Yennefer is the one who needs to apologise and grovel and beg for forgiveness.
And this is what I mean by, the show is obsessed with giving her Ls. Not only do they make her suffer, they character assassinate her by forcing her character to do this cartoonishly evil thing, and then punish her for it!! They don’t just take away her powers, her court standing, they even strip her of her own relationships!!! And I ask again - why is this necessary?? Who decided that punishing her like this would be an extremely important plot line, an improvement, over the original source material? Like back when the show was first announced, I sure as shit wasn’t thinking “oh wow a netflix witcher show - I sure do hope they have a plot thread where Geralt refuses to talk to Yennefer, and doesn’t even let her into the same fucking house as him, because she tried to kill Ciri!!” who wanted this??? Who thought this was a good idea??? Honestly, it makes me feel as if someone on the writing team hates Yennefer and wants her to suffer, both in a narrative and meta level. And no, I’m not talking about that infamous Beau deMayo interview - something that caused a huge amount of online drama and should be taken with a big old pinch of salt, especially since the writer who made this claim was responsible for some pretty questionable decisions, namely the whole Treeskel thing. I’m not making a direct accusation here - it’s more a feeling. When I look at TWN, I cannot help but sense a level of contempt and spite towards the character of Yennefer. That doesn’t necessarily mean someone in the writing team genuinely has it out for her, but if that’s the impression that I get from the way they treat her in the show, then something has gone very wrong with the narrative decisions they made for her.
And this is why, not only can I not let myself be excited for S3, it’s why I’m genuinely feeling dread about it. Every time I read interviews about how Geralt and Yennefer have this really rocky start and he’s ignoring her or whatever, my stomach just sinks. And again - why was this decision made? Who thought this was a good idea? And yeah, the TWN team have already said they’re trying to fix the problem with their relationship caused in S2, but a) the way they are going about fixing it only serves to punish Yennefer’s character more and b) it should not have been something to fix in the first place. It’s also why I can’t bring myself to believe that S3 will suddenly be more faithful and better than S2, esp in regards to Yennefer (aside from the fact they’ve made this promise before and failed to deliver). Because the early plot points of a story are extremely important in setting the foundation of your later plot, especially in a series like the witcher. If your foundation is inherently flawed, it doesn’t matter how good your later seasons are; they are built on a faulty base, and will therefore lack a good structure. Case in point with Yennefer. Without going too much into book spoilers, let’s just say she has a really rough time of it post-Time of Contempt in the books. So in the show, either a) they will just put her through even more suffering and leave you thinking “wow did this entire show exist just to punish Yennefer?” or b) they will have to deviate away from the books. Neither of these options are particularly good. (this also is one of my problems with S2 as a whole - they were so desperate to put in all this insane blockbuster action and dramatic plot points, but sometimes in stories you need moments of calm to make later dramatic plot points more hard hitting. In the books, Blood of Elves was the moment of calm before Time of Contempt’s batshit, action packed drama. In the show, you never get that moment of calm. Why should I care about whatever happens in Thanedd if S2 had Ciri get possessed by a fucking demon and go on a killing spree? But anyway.)
And I think the reason why I’m particularly disappointed with the way that the show has treated Yennefer’s character so badly (aside from the numerous promises of “we’re a faithful book adaptation” being complete lies) is that Yennefer is a character who already receives a lot of unfair hate. Obviously there’s the annoying “Team Yen vs Team Triss” thing from the games, but even within the show there were a certain type of fans of a certain ship who hated a lot on Yennefer for daring to get in the way of their ship. Like, I’m so sick of seeing Yennefer getting hate for stupid, unfair reasons - and now even the show is treating her like shit??? Like, give me a break!!
I’m just tired of it. And obviously, if you like TWN and you’re excited for S3, that’s fine. In fact, I’m honestly jealous, I wish I could feel the same. And who knows, maybe the show will improve its treatment of Yennefer, maybe they’ll finally give her some Ws. But that’s what I thought about S2, and was proven VERY wrong. Any confidence, trust or optimism I had left for the show was completely destroyed by the Voleth Meir plotline in S2, and the show will have to work very hard to rebuild that trust for me. And unfortunately, everything I’ve heard about S3 so far is only confirming that they’ll continue to treat her poorly.

After the past like 2 weeks or whatever of getting back into Arknights I have some gripes I want to get out of my system. It's long and rambly but Tl;Dr: I hate the trial and error. A bit is fine, but Arknights does it so goddamn much it's just infuriating.
1) Enemy pathing shows up for way too damn little. This barely matters in most levels but when it's time for any stage of actual difficulty, seeing a weird ass path appear while I was focused on something else, and then a speedy guy comes out and I have no clue where it's going is infuriating. Kinda just have to keep taking Ls until you just memorize the annoying ones.
2) What am I gonna fight? Since the game never shows what's coming pre-mission, you throw a run away to even see what enemies spawn, let alone their numbers. Will there be a dozen slugs? Or 5 tanky bois? Who the fuck knows. Hate it.
3) Lack of useful info and consistency. "This enemy can stun" ok, how long? What's the sniper dude's range? Sometimes it's like 4 tiles and others it's half the map. Some stuns last seemingly no time and others knock Cuora for so long a tanky slow dude crosses the length of the map before she gets up.
4) Some boss gimmicks feel really shit. Like, there's that guy in the Trails for Navigator or whatever with the gun. He enters phase 2, lines up a shot(s?), and deletes anyone who isn't drowning in buffs. Like... what? W just instakills if her target... exists in her range for too long? This isn't even me bitching about difficulty it just feels shit. Slumbering of Sui is on the ground and needs to be hit a ton, but then it also can hit ranged tiles for some reason?
Hell this is its own thing honestly, like rule of thumb i got is "ground units only hit ground, unless they have a gun or crossbow or whatever, then they can hit ranged" and then the drunk dude with a hammer somehow can. The Slumbering of Sui can. The goddamn bull from that same event can. Gimme some goddamn consistency.
Honestly most of my disdain is enforced trial and error. And yeah, I'm still playing and enjoying once I get past that initial blind run, but the constant guessing of what the hell is coming and what can enemies do is really annoying. Hell even defenses are weird. Rule of thumb is armored units need to be hit with arts and everyone else needs physical, and then there's random in betweens that resist both. Or larger ones weak to physical and vice versa, like the current event rerun thing where almost everything is weaker against physical. Idk it's just confusing as hell and again, trial and error spam.
Also fuck the "hit this thing 10 times quick to kill them for good" from this event rerun thing.

I’m watching Ls vods and things are just so comical
Like for someone to spew hatred and leave the server only for the same members of the server to welcome him back in open arms after he said that is just hilarious
It’s nonsensical but than you realize they’ve been pissing each other off consistently for years and have said way worse back than too, it was ego and genuine feelings boiled up
Yet they all just let the other simmer down and move on, always, there was never praise nor acknowledgment of either side being good, only when correcting a chatter really
Now the guy who called em snakes disappeared and his name was still being thrown around in that time, literally still treated with so much air and life, nothing he could have said or done worse would of changed their reactions
Still watching his clips, laughing and crazily enough praising his play style, they even said they missed him, the fondness, sarcasm, comparisons- he had become an unconscious standard in their minds
Insanity
But than you take one look at the vods and whatever the hell went on for those years prior and yeah it makes sense
It just does, from early stream sniping, provoking fights, burning and destroying, dragging along, animosity and than noticing his wariness like a wild animal yet they all repeatedly approached him and had biases towards him
You could say his reaction was warranted and you could also say you hate him for being crude, it’s not wrong
Though he matched what that server was and the members acknowledged it
Finding bugs, abusing tiny exploits, finding fun in the littlest of things, killing his hate to control chatters, hating pvp but always engaging, putting himself at risk for the others content, his confusion in liking building, avoiding getting too close
An all rounder you can say, if you saw his pov its really someone who lived in their own bubble and when it was pierced he matched the energy
A terrible hater who was susceptead to constant berating, being thrown around, used as support, known for loyalty but at the same time was never loyal at all, never hesitated and to be someone who felt alive dancing with death consistently, always the first to step forward when death called their name
For him to be back makes it so laughable, not knowing how to approach someone so familiar yet so distant, like always, resorting to the core and fighting him head on
Also early s4 & s5 of his storyline (not dragged into others) he was free and spiteful to his teammates he wasn’t bound to by any means, for red to come back to him a 3rd time but as his s3 brutal self- I wonder what route he’ll end up in since all he’s said was what the person who talked to him wanted to hear, never his own opinion to be said yet
Ls sure is twisted and corrupt, after all that they still tried to coax him back and once back be aggressively told that what he said is retconned and that he’s not allowed to leave again-
Evil, all of em are such twisted characters
that’s why they fit so well on that server

Chanyeol for L'Officiel October Issue
CHANYEOL makes a splash with debut solo mini-album Black Out With two prior singles on his belt, EXO’s CHANYEOL is stepping into the limelight as a solo artist as he returns with his debut mini-album Black Out.
Affectionately named the “Happy Virus” by EXO-Ls, CHANYEOL (@real__pcy) is a constant surge of positivity and brightness that lights up any space he is in. Even though he is a veteran with more than a decade of experience in the K-pop industry, CHANYEOL is still taking on his latest venture with the mindset of a newcomer, where he launches his debut solo mini-album Black Out.
One of the leading stars within the 3rd generation of the Hallyu Wave,  CHANYEOL shows no sign of stopping as he unveils his six-track mini-album just weeks ago. And right here, right now, the global star joins us with an exclusive interview to talk about his new beginnings and adventures, accompanied by a stunning set of visuals captured in the electrifying streets of Hong Kong.
Congratulations on achieving your dream of releasing a solo mini-album Black Out! Can you share with us what your album aims to express?
My biggest desire for this album was to showcase great music. I believe that the best way to truly thank all the EXO-Ls who have been waiting is by sharing great music.
Which lyric from the album touches you the most, and why?
In the song I’m on your side too, which I wrote thinking of EXO-Ls, there’s a lyric that goes, "The words I was too shy to say often, I want to hold your small hands and share my overflowing emotions with you." I feel this line perfectly encapsulates my emotions.
What is the most memorable moment during the process of preparing your first mini album?
The most memorable moment was when I had the first meeting to discuss the track list for my debut solo album. I felt a wonderful mix of excitement and nerves, as it truly marked the beginning of this journey.
Among the songs included in the album, is there a particular one that you’re especially fond of?
The two songs I hold closest to my heart are, I’m on your side too (which I mentioned earlier) and Clover, which I wrote thinking of my dog, Zzar.
Both tracks bring back so many joyful memories from the creative process, deepening my affection for EXO-Ls and Zzar.
How did the other EXO members react to your new album?
When I met SUHO and played him the songs, he noted how much effort and research I had put into them. He expressed his excitement and support, which really meant a lot to me. I often engage in musical discussions with SUHO, and our conversations are not only enjoyable but also incredibly inspiring. His expectations motivate me to push myself even harder.
What part of your career are you most passionate about?
The aspects of my career that ignite my passion are songwriting, composing lyrics, and playing the guitar. I find great joy in creating my own unique music through these processes. When I play the guitar, all other thoughts fade away, and it brings me pure happiness.
We were all very impressed by your performance in the series titled The Frog. What genre would you like to explore next in acting?
I would love to explore a genre like romantic comedy that revolves around everyday life.
Recently, have you picked up any new hobbies?
Lately, I’ve been cycling every day. While I’m mostly just exploring nearby areas for now, I love the feeling of the wind as I ride, especially before and after my workouts at the gym.
Beyond acting, performing, and releasing albums, is there something else you'd like to try?
I’m eager to explore various sports, and if the opportunity comes along, I would also like to challenge myself by taking on a production role.
What’s the best piece of life advice that motivates you the most?
The phrase "Believe in yourself" is a great motivation for me. I tend to firmly believe in myself and get back on track when I feel lost.
What are you most proud of in your life so far?
The moments I take the most pride in are those when I achieved our goals together with my members (EXO). Whether it was connecting with fans during our world tours or receiving awards, every shared experience fills me with immense pride.
Now that you've released your first solo album and are embarking on a concert tour, what’s next for CHANYEOL?
My next goal is to create even better albums and performances. Since this is my first album and tour, I want to improve any areas that fell short and come back with an even more impressive presentation.
When was the happiest moment for you recently?
The happiest moment I've experienced recently was during the <2024 CHANYEOL LIVE TOUR : 都市風景 (City-scape)> live performance. Standing on stage and connecting with the fans filled me with incredible joy and excitement.

final thinggg just me sobbing and also absolutely eating the delicious whump this episode like he's literally that meme "out here living my best life" "Macaque is dying" "this ain't about him" rest assured, it will happen again. if I drank a sip of water for every whump/flopped on the ground dead this monkey was, I would be soooo hydrated. with how scared he is this episode you'd think this moron would have a smidge more self preservation or tried harder last time, like how hard is it to kidnap a meditating Wukong or y'know, NOT goad MK into trying harder to fight you? but he's kind of been banging pots and pans all season saying he don't wanna do this at ALL get him outta there bro just wants to live. its honestly funny because if you're thinking "but he DID legit try to hand MK over before being weirdly ambiguous and also wanting LBD to get beat" YEAH THATS HIS PROBLEM. he only sees two outcomes and keeps double dating them, weird way to phrase it I know, while also being driven by self-interest. constant conflict of interest until he finally brings himself to this point of being on the Very Edge and straight up loses it more from stress and anxiety. what happens if the bone consumes him? tick tock, he's on a timer. he wants the Samadhi fire to use himself? why not share it w the gang? bro where do you THINK the fire is going to go, one time use? "humanity is going to need to find something else?" uh huh, I know they don't trust you but maybe if you ask nicely to let them burn away your chains for you. he thinks he can just use the fire and ditch "be free of this nightmare" as he said buuuuuuuut it ain't that easy. there's still two other parties in this game and you are stuck in the PLOT. there are no free choices to break away from the narrative silly lol. that's like someone wanting to break the fourth wall from how little he wants to follow either path which makes something from S4 even funnier. but you see the moment of realization in the 3rd special. he's been having a lot of those lately too thanks to the power of friendship Monkie Gang uses. breaking down those impressions whoo, they're not like you or Wukong. also its SO evil how we see LBD's power also go towards his blind eye and we see the skull motif again, the eyes flickering sound effect sounding like a faulty lightbulb?? the face he makes like he's about to be sick and throw up? honestly Wukong makes me want to throttle him next ep in a / exasperated non-hater way bc everybody keeps misreading Macracker... "And Macaboo. He's really going to have to try and stop Team Monkie if he wants to live." oh Icy :) as if Macatalyst has ever been good at doing what the LBD says, and not just bc he's Champion of taking Ls. you should really bonk him on the head and send him to Sandy's for therapy, tea and cats.
You should go back and rewatch every episode with Mackaroo and drink some water for every whump/flop. Hydrate yourself.
Poor Macamoo. He really needs a lot of help.

are all of these bad zack aerith cloud takes making you wish they'd left zack out of rebirth almost entirely lmao i felt sort of... confused but neutral about it before (as a person who has never played crisis core and thus doesn't really care about him all that much beyond "role" in the original game) but now i'm like wow wish he wasn't here!
i wish he was still fucking dead 😂😂 im so goddamn sick of these zack is everything takes. everything cloud does he’s zack unless he’s with tifa and then he presses his cloud button ofc 🙄 the song is zack, aerith only likes cloud because of zack he only likes her because of zack, both the main themes are about zack WHAT IF I CLOBBER YOU?
zack did not exist as a real fleshed out character until cc, way after cloud/aerith were created. he is not the main character of the story. it’s CLOUD’S story! but people want him to be an easy to digest puppy man so bad instead of a complex interesting perhaps hard to like at times character they dumb him down to zacloud. and of course it’s convenient to use him to dismiss every single moment cloud and aerith have as fake and also keep her out of the way and it just fucking sucks to do that to the story over a ship quite frankly. cloud’s journey to self acceptance and overcoming that sense of failure having grown up to idealise soldiers and not making it as one of them and internalising that but finding something in himself to fight back the system that rejected and then experimented and traumatised him is so good. and to say until post LS he’s just zack through all the rest of his journey previous to that sequence where he sees more and more of the crimes that are being committed by shinra and those soldiers he idolised and aspired to be and begins to fight back against them just really disrespects him imo.
anyway i in theory have nothing against zack. and the trailer intrigued me. but this constant bastardisation of the solider persona from his fans/weird shippers and the need to elevate him so much makes me wish he wasn’t there. ive seen multiple people say they want cloud to die at the end of part 2 and zack to take his place as the main protagonist… I? What? they think both main theme songs are about him it’s too much

Lattu Is Not A Good Friend To Ajay
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another day, another yapping session with me-
I've finished my exams, I'm working on Beyburst fic with 7 chapters and chapter 8 is still wip, now I had another topic I want to discuss.
I'm here to explain how and why Lattu isn't exactly a good friend to Ajay.
Beware that these are just me yapping myself away like I always do, backed up by general researching and observations. Please do not take it seriously. If you have opposing opinions, do share them politely.
Lattu Doesn't Treat Ajay All That Well
Ik you might be saying like; "but Kay, they're close and stuck to each other like glue. And they're best friends-" yeah, I get that, and I understand.
But my point is that, the fact that how easily he could forget about Ajay's existence the moment LS disappeared is-
Many, and I do mean, MANY times when some shit went down, everyone panicked, LS came, save the day, everyone happy.
Plenty times where Lattu was with Ajay when shit like this happened, and not once, and I do mean NOT ONCE Lattu ever spoke out that his "best friend" is missing after the day has been saved.
Boy, you sat RIGHT NEXT with an introvert you befriended, who you call a "best friend" at that, too. But the moment your idol appears, he suddenly became air? Are you being fr rn??
Many will argue that Lattu just forgot it as a one time thing- no, it's not a one time thing, it's a constant thing.
And the fact that Lattu blatantly said that after LS, Ajay is his best friend, straight to his (Ajay's) face to at that, like?? Excuse me?? Ajay might've laughed it off, but you can't tell me that he felt hurt, even if LS and Ajay are th same person.
(The video in question)
Imagine if Ajay and LS are completely different people altogether; Ajay would've been more hurt than he was originally. Your own best friend, said that you are second to his idol? Idk about y'all, but if that were me, I would drop that friend immediately, no questions asked. Blocked, distanced, everything. I'm not trying to be mean or anything; I just don't want to stay in a friendship where I wasn't being treated properly.
And treating someone properly is clearly not in Lattu's dictionary, no matter how harsh it might sound.
The Difference Between Lattu And Babli As Ajay's Friends
Listen; I'm not trying to be biased or anything, but I just think that Babli is a much better person as Ajay's best friend.
Like- girlie was the only person in his private life aside from family that know of his dual-life situation, and she supports him and is actually there for him through and through.
Of course, being the daughter of a senior professor might've played a part here a bit, but even if that wasn't the case, she would still be supportive of him no matter what, because she actually cared about him, and being an actual friend to him both as Ajay and LS at the same time.
Through their expeditions together, for Babli, her friend group remains unchanging; Ajay and LS are the same person, so there's no need for her to ask for Ajay to invite him to their little shenanigans with LS. Her best friend is literally already there as is.
Lattu on the other hand, for as much as I know, he never once ever asked Ajay if he would be interested in coming to join their chaos getaway with LS, and he's the person who's unaware of Ajay's dual-identity. He technically treated two people completely differently.
"He might've asked him off-screen". That might be the case, but I will never excuse the fact that Lattu had zero thoughts when it comes to his own best friend in favor of his idol. None.
If Their Friendship Breaks Apart, It's Not Ajay's Fault
I feel like instead of because of how Ajay kept a secret from Lattu, it'll be because Ajay realized he wasn't being treated fairly like a friend when he's being himself, his real self, and Lattu is just too absorbed into his alter-ego than anything.
We have to always remind ourselves that "Little Singham" is not Ajay's real identity; this is explicitly said multiple times already throughout the series. Little Singham is merely an alter-ego that Ajay created due to his work line. The flamboyant and open-energy personality isn't Ajay's actual personality. Ajay has always been the quiet, introverted, and shy kid who is quite invisible in his own class, with only 2 people ever see him, sometimes even 5.
Lattu, basically in a sense, favors Ajay as someone else rather than Ajay's real self, and that's what I think will be the breaking point for Ajay at some point to break away from this relationship; it's no use to be in a relationship where you won't be valued as yourself, and only being valued by only putting up a persona that is anything but yourself.
This might've appeared in an alt universe more than anything lmfao, but my point still stands.
I mean like- Lattu is blind asf dawg; when LS is clearly barefaced, he doesn't realized shit. Suspected Aadi to look familiar, while Baaghi is literally right there not far from them, like hello??
I'm not trying to hate on Lattu, no. He's honestly a good character if he was written right. I just have problems with how he is with his friendship with Ajay, and how bad the relationship is, whether anyone realized this or not.
Then again, they're 9 year old children, I'm not gonna expect them to behave like a teenager when it comes to their relationships, but usually in childhoods, anywhere below 12 at least, friendships are highly valued, and I don't think Lattu is doing a good job on that.
Babli is honestly the most solid friend Ajay could ever had. Cuz not only since they're friends since childhood, they're still close to this day to the point of siblinghood (I'm sure Avishkar took care of him to some extent after Akira left).
That's probably all. If there's more, I'll add later

SS confides in BH, Galaxy, Uni, Earth, Venus during therapy that they (SS) really want to save him from the danger that clings to his constant hunger. "I almost consumed all of LS' power when she tried to save me...and this is why she has trouble recovering when she uses large amounts of her own power."
LS tells Orion why her powers sap her energy so badly when using her powers, "It will take many many many many years for my powers to return to full strength."
Galaxy:I understand your reason but BH is a different case…. He only wants power- even if it means killing someone….
Orion:….

In the 1960s two men did experiments with classical conditioning and came up with learned helplessness.
But Valerie!! Valerie!! I hear you ask. What were the experiments and what is learned helplessness?
The experiments were done on dogs. Very unethical and very sad so look it up at your own discretion. But the experiment went to show that if you punish a dog frequently and give them no choice or option of escape, eventually they learn and believe that they have no choice in the matter at all. Even when the barrier is removed and the dog is given the option to avoid punishment, they simply take the punishment instead of even attempting to solve the problem or escape pain. This was also applied to rats with similar results.
Humans function in the same way. A few examples: if a child is grounded or given harsh punishment for small infractions, it can lead to rebellion or fear (no matter what you do, you’ll be punished anyways.) or if a child is coddled it leads to feelings of inferiority. That child is unable to create solutions for themself and needs their hand held.
Now I direct your focus to Clark Triton.
For (give or take) a year, he was under constant surveillance and threat. There was no escaping, no way out, no way to tell anyone what was happening. Descole was an inescapable omnipotent presence in his life. We see one snippet of how their relationship worked behind closed doors.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Every time clark tries to argue he’s shot down by a threat
Tumblr media Tumblr media
His response, while initially that of shock and anger, quickly turns to fawning.
Tumblr media
Descole establishes, time and again, that it’s his way or no way. When looking back in LS, it becomes more evident that whatever Descole says goes.
A question could be posed. Why didn’t Clark attempt to escape? Even without the help of the police, surely he could have broken the trapdoor and escaped with his family to London, correct?
In theory it could be possible. If timed correctly, Clark most likely had the opportunity to get Brenda and Doland out of the basement and take Luke back to London. There they could get in contact with Scotland Yard, so on and so forth, and everything would be done.
This is where Clark’s conditioning comes in. Because it’s been so long of constant threats to his town, his family, and the lives of others, he no longer believes he can escape. He never contacted Hershel, despite knowing his brilliance (or it was intercepted). He was never able to get any leeway under Descole, and eventually he gave up. Even if an option was presented for his freedom or escape, he wouldn’t take it. He has no hope. Clark had learned that any action against descole has severe consequences, so it’s best to do nothing at all. He feels no control over his life or his situation. I doubt he feels much autonomy for a while after Descole is gone either.
Clark’s resistance with the wine was risky. Very, very risky. And it’s a moment of boldness that comes entirely out of the blue from what we know of Clark pre and during LS. He spent a year under Descole’s control only to take a chance that could cost him everything. It’s only his trust and hope with Hershel that makes it happen. It’s a very small spark in him that has otherwise been snuffed.
Despite all of this, Clark never seems to want revenge. He doesn’t act hostile towards Descole. In fact, he’s one of the best fathers that PL as a series has.
Of course, he had his moments in LS. He was under extreme pressure and it was natural to lash out at Luke for writing that letter. Luke didn’t know the dangers, but he could have literally ruined everything if Clark wasn’t able to convince Descole that he didn’t write for help (or if descole hadn’t heard Luke admit it). He was probably already tense to begin with, and hearing that it was Luke of all people that put himself in danger made him snap.
But after LS, he gets better. He doesn’t try and go after Descole for what he did, he’s content to have his family back, and he feels safe enough to let Luke go on a trip around the world with his friend. He’s one of the only people in the series that we really see heal from what has been done to them.
And personally I think that’s fascinating.
It posits that when highly desired outcomes are believed to be improbable and/or highly aversive outcomes are believed probable, and the individual has no expectation that anything she does will change the outcome, depression results.
so real

One thing Sevika needs to be appreciated for more is how fucking funny she is like. Her character is HILARIOUS I love her SO much.
First of all, the most obvious example is the fact that she ditched Vander for Silco because he was being too soft for his kids to the point of abandoning the cause, only for Silco to adopt one of those same fucking kids like a DAY later.
Sevika:
Tumblr media
That same kid also happens to be the one who blew her up and vaporized her arm. Imagine waking up in severe pain, missing a limb, and your boss is like "Welcome back. btw meet Jinx, she's my child now haha say hi to the newest member of the Cause :)" You look. It's the same blue haired gremlin Vander ditched the cause for. Your boss isn't done. "Btw she's the one who bombed us ahah quite the little demolitions expert eh?" You want to die.
Then as Jinx grows up and becomes more and more of a Problem, she starts seriously beefing with this 17 year old kid. Just full on disdain and hatred for this child. This is Sevika's face when she gets the chance to trigger Jinx's trauma and prey on her deepest insecurities to try and bring about a mental breakdown:
Tumblr media
Fucking hell, Sevika.
Then the FUNNIEST fucking thing she ever does in this show. Plays Finn like a fiddle from the start all the way to the end. Her telling Silco that she was never tempted by Finn specifically makes it even better because that means that this...
Tumblr media
... isn't some look of contemplating his offer to join his ranks, she was never swayed by this dumbass. So it's very likely that in this scene this woman is thinking "Damn that's a nice lighter. I'm totally taking it after I kill him lmao."
And she just leans into the drama of it all, partly to make her ploy convincing, but also partly, as I choose to believe, because it's hilarious. She really barges into Silco's office, pulls out a chair for Finn and dusts it off before he sits on it akdjandmakskss
Tumblr media
All the while knowing she's going to kill this fool. The theatrics. The savagery. The commitment to the Act. *Chef's kiss*
She gets blown up, beaten, shot at, gassed, strung upside down, and thrown through walls - and is still alive by the end of it. Comically unkillable queen. I laughed my ass off every time she reappeared Alive and Well after suffering the most brutal ordeal and seeming to be dead.
Like. She believes in freedom for the oppressed but she's not above being a dickhead to mentally ill teens. She's willing to die for her boss but also orchestrates a situation where she can make him shit his pants just to get a point across. She has terrible luck and takes constant Ls. She gets her head bashed into concrete numerous times and somehow doesn't have brain damage. Skull of steel. She is fucking hilarious. I'm obsessed with her.
