Join us on an epic journey with Lemuel Gulliver as he finds himself shipwrecked on the mysterious island of Lilliput, inhabited by people only six inches tall! In this animated retelling of Jonathan Swift’s classic tale, watch as Gulliver navigates the challenges of being a giant in a tiny world—from helping the Lilliputians in their war against Blefuscu to escaping political intrigue in the royal court.

I've been reading this old GT book from like 1947, and I've developed severe "borrowers are the descendents of kidnapped lilliputians from Gullivers travels" brain rot

Hey guys, I need a bit of help from the online detectives on this one. As a kid I remember going on this sort of 4d ride/dark ride that was a sort of gullivers travels theme. The audience was taking on the role of small people a giant kept in a box and the ride had the box go through haphazard events. I remember it sticking with me because on the ride screen it would show tiny people getting snatched out of our audience and eaten by giants, picked at by birds. And swept away by raging waters. Scared the shit out of me as a kid.
I think it ended with the box getting found by two friendly giants or something? Idk but I’ll include a quick lil doodle of what I remember. Internet please do your thing! For the longest time I thought I had just made it up

Finally twigged what rwby (+small animal companion) are walking through the field of red plants toward the red prince's castle reminded me of. It's the scene from wizard of oz where Dorothy et all are passing through the field of red flowers (poppies?) toward the wizard's city.

(via Gulliver's Modern Travels - by SJStone - The Fictional)
Modernizing a classic: Gullver’s Travels (2025 Edition?)
Given the ongoing political drama (trauma?), I’ve considered rewriting “Gulliver’s Travels” and updating the story to meet the current narrative.
In this modern era, Sam(antha) Gulliver is an investigative reporter on a journey of exploration. She washes up on the shores of a (“Gigaland”?) nation ruled by attention- and approval-seeking morons and sycophants all acting in service to the Absurdist in Chief, a bloviating man whose skin is literally made of woven gold thread, all while a sentient AI attempts to optimize the population.
When the economy is trending, the president is a buffoon, and an AI is rewriting societal rules in real time… is there even a point in trying to stop it? Or is Sam just the last sane idiot left?
Gulliver’s Travels was first published in 1725 as prose satire.
