i genuinely enjoy the amount of respect and love and care the circle has for cosmo. i can't possibly know if it will ever backfire given the circumstances they are in but that's not even what's so important right now. what will happen is what will happen but the beginning, the starting point that is actually a starting point only for us. for them? it's one of many that dotted the path of their relationship, their connection to cosmo.

i suppose it is so nice to see because there is an image of an old, obnoxious, know-it-all figures in media that are presented from the perspective — having knowledge is a grant of respect. but cosmo, at least from what we hear others speak of him, is not that. he is an old man that his grandson relative? father? wants to protect because that's how it should be and not the other way around. he is an old friend to madam glask, and he is the closest and hence the dearest, which means she will step over her fear and lost trust of elsie and follow their mission through. he is an associate, a roommate that elsie trusts to keep her safe and keep others safe from her. he is a professor that has earned his respect from rajan.

and he sees them as his children, he cares for them as he would care for his own and yet, not in a belittling way. they are like children to him but they are not children. they are grown and established in life adults that achieved their status in society and that cosmo respects, while caring for them like he would for his children. and it's almost as if they care and love him the same way in response. his human being does not consists only of work and his studies and they can love him like children would love their elderly parent. and they do.

and surely, we don't know what had happened in cosmo's past 'till it'd be revealed or what will happen in the future 'till it will happen next episode. but i just enjoy how likable cosmo is while being a knowledgeable and important part of the candela and the circle. i like how it's easy for the circle to like him and stick with him even when the circle bends.

and you know, that is the epitome of an actual respect, to have such an influence on people.

I was trying to figure out why Claire Coffee look so tiny compared to everyone else in the Grimm cast. Well she is short, standing at 5’4ft (162.5 cm), but everyone else is also really freaking tall. For instance, Sasha Roiz is 6’5ft (195.5cm)

Elizabeth Tulloch and Bree Turner are the only two average height people in the show 😭😭

No you wouldn't, seriously... Inside my brain there's a beautiful meadow, it's all whimsical and shit ya know real fairytale stuff and nothing can hurt you in a fairytale right? Wrong. Under this gorgeous field is an infinite number of landmines and you have no idea where any of them are.

Why not just stand in the single patch of grass you spawned on? Because if you do nothing for too long you die that's why, so you gotta move forward, good job you spawned with the immune to landmines ability isn't it?

Again no. While you can't actually be killed by one it will render your avatar completely frozen for an undetermined amount of time, okay that's not too bad... Wrong Again! Remember if you do nothing for too long you die? Yeah that's also an undetermined amount of time too, so you spend the whole time you're frozen convinced if it lasts a second more you'll die.

Now what happens if you somehow make it across the field? Well then it's great there's loads of other worlds for you to explore behind an infinite amount of doors. Some you can stay inside for an hour, some a week, and a few give you a few months break from the minefield meadow. But there a some doors that will just teleport you straight back to the middle of the field, and even worse sometimes it's the doors to your favourite worlds.

Yeah my head isn't a fairytale landscape of whimsy at all, it's a majestic minefield meadow surrounded by hundreds of thousands of millions of doors that keep you alive by being opened but at any point any of the doors could send you back into the minefield. Sometimes it rains, sometimes it snows and sometimes the sun shines deliciously with a calming breeze almost convincing you that the beautiful meadow surrounding you on all sides is nothing but innocence and whimsy, a paradise without pain, suffering or hardships.

Oh and all your actions inside both the minefield meadow and the many worlds you explore have consequences on those you love and care about, your friends, your family, your colleagues and even total strangers but I won't get into those.

i remember u posting abt how much stranded sucks a while back - does ravenous get at all better from the first set in your opinion? i stopped listening to that one 3 eps in bc i was very uninvested but tbh part of me is hoping it's secretly good later on bc i miss having eight in my ear 😭 i can always relisten to older ones i guess...

yeah after the first set (which is. ass) ravenous is pretty ok! lots of really good liv & helen moments (to be expected) & i can’t remember a single thing 8 does in it so he must’ve been pretty mid, but thats also to be expected. i thought the ravenous were quite interesting but alas, they muddled it all up by adding the eleven into the mix 😒😒😒😒. however there are a couple rather good audios in there - particularly companion piece & seizure. i should note i listened to it all like 4 years ago so take what i say with a grain of salt

I had a shifting dream last night. This was the first dream where I was in my dr, but it kinda sucked 💀

So in my dreams are usually multiple little dreams made into one, but this one just revolves around the fact that I shifted to my better cr, or a dr like it.

The first thing that happened was me waking up in my or room, I was a little upset but got up and went to my vanity. I looked like my face claim. I started crying and freaking out, I was so excited. So I went looking around but noticed everything was the exact same as my or so I was mad 💀💀

Anyway, I started thinking “I should try to shift to another dr” I scripted that I will always shift in any attempt. But I got side tracked and this happened like 4 times until I woke up. I cried when I woke up bc that dream wasn’t real.

When I have shifting related dreams, it’s me in my or trying to shift, this was my first dream of me actually IN my dr. This Dream probably happened bc I’ve been thinking about shifting a lot, but could there be any meaning to it?
