i'm really so curious how deeply tbhx is gonna go with its whole premise of "heroes are made and gain powers based on trust" because i really wasn't anticipating that

1) moon/xiao yueqing has teleportation-based powers but because everyone wants her and nice to stick together, her teleportation leads back to nice which was INSANE to me

and

2) lin ling is becoming increasingly more worried about being clean and perfect which is a side effect of nice's image of perfection which is indicating that this whole trust system can have mental effects??? and that's horrifying to me???

we are 2 episodes in, how deep is this gonna go

The funniest dynamic in my mind belongs to Dottore with a darling who absolutely hates doctors but he didn't manage to get you yet.

He tries to manipulate you by giving you expert medical advice? Saying he knows best? You throw an apple at him. Of course. But then you taunt him saying hes not a real doctor anyways but you keep apples and apple flavored things everywhere.

And when the tsaritsa actually requires you to go on like checkups?? You demand 5 other people to be in the room that you trust and dottore has to take the anesthesia swab they use for kids at the dentist just to check your teeth. And then he has to give you bandaids with flowers and cats on them after drawing your blood.

And he gives you a lolipop but you throw it against the wall and leave. And he is just like,,, furrowed eyebrows but admiration sighs and longing and everyone else is just like ??!??¿

at the point in my life where my stance towards birthdays is just 'look, I'm really busy this month, can we reschedule this and all of the emotional baggage attached with it as well for a couple months down the line please'

#I'm about a week out from 23 and this is the first time in my life where I've actually felt my age tbh.#as a kid I befriended teachers and librarians more than peers and I was never much of a childlike kid #but as an adult I've felt like the three-kids-in-a-trenchcoat-walking-into-a-movie-theatre equivalent of an adult.#It's like impostor syndrome with my own age. always a little too much or not quite enough.#but 23 feels like you put those opposing notions in a blender. you mix it together and it's like Yep That's 23 All Right.#it's weird looking at my friends that are my age though.#some people my age are settling down and having careers and kids and others are joining pyramid schemes and dating The Worst Man #so overall I guess I'm doing okay for myself here in the middle. my life is painfully aimless but I'm not dating The Worst Man #and I'm not selling vector knives or keto diet plans on tiktok so I've at least made a few good decisions along the way I guess.#like never downloading tiktok lol. god that's another thing. that makes me feel old. So everyone knows luigi's mansion. How you need to save poor brother Mario. Every time you come across him he just looks so not okay. But this, this beautiful image from the booklet just shows him SO perplexed. Like he's contemplating so hard, guess this is how it feels on the other side.
