I've tried it never works, especially when your a grown ass man who looks twelve. I've been in places I was supposed to be and people have tried to be like "Oh no smoll child why are you here?! This place is dangerous!" Lemme go I'm your fuckin boss! I'm closer to being 50 than I am being in highschool! Fight me!!!!

The "I just pretended I belong here and no one has noticed so far that I'm not supposed to be here" fics are hysterical to me. If someone pretended to be my cousin and showed up in my house they would absolutely get my inattentive ass.

i think everyone that can should learn how to pick simple locks.

i'm not saying you gotta be the lockpicking lawyer, but we got my young nephew a little lockpicking set for his birthday one year, and i picked up a set for myself, and since then i've picked several locks for folks (friends, family) who needed it because they couldn't find (or forgot) the key. just yesterday my dad drove 45 minutes to my house to get something, thought he brought the key for it but didn't, and he didn't have to drive 45 minutes back to his house and then 45 minutes back to mine to fetch the key.

The set i own was like $15. That set + some practice locks is like $13 right now. i just think it's a useful skill to at least know.
