God’s Infinite Knowledge
Your knowledge is amazing to me; it is more than I can understand. — Psalms 139:6 | New Century Version (NCV) The Holy Bible, New Century Version®. Copyright © 2005 by Thomas Nelson, Inc. Cross References: Job 42:3; Psalm 19:12; Psalm 131:1; Romans 11:33

When God asks, there is a reason for it
Luke 6:38 says “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you”. At first I thought this verse only meant we should be generous with others, but now I realize it also refers to our relationship with God.
Even though God doesn’t need us, He asks for love, faithfulness, reverence, respect. He also asks us to give up things, people or attitudes, or for us to start acting in a certain way, not on a whim, but because He wants and knows what’s best for us. Proverbs 14:12 says “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death”.
And the more we give God, the more aligned we are to His plans and the more freedom He has to act in our lives. Proverbs 16:3 says “Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established”.

Being a “Fun Fact !” kind of autistic is all fun and games until you get halfway through sharing an interesting tidbit and realize that it probably wasn’t appropriate to share in polite company and now you have to deal with the consequences :(

At Qian Cao Peak
Mu Qingfang: Shixiong has been stressed lately. What is weighing on your mind?
Shang Qinghua: I can't really say- wait! You're a doctor, that means you took the Hippocratic Oath! Which means that whatever I tell you, you can't repeat it to the other peak lords...
Mu Qingfang: What is-
Shang Qinghua, not listening: Well it all started in a previous life...
Later
Shang Qinghua: ...and now Cucumber-Bro and I need to make sure the world doesn't end. Wow, it feels nice to get that off my chest. Thank you for listening, Mu-shidi! I'll be back in a week for our next session
Mu Qingfang: ...
Yue Qingyuan, walking up to him: What's wrong, shidi? You look spooked
Mu Qingfang: I can't say. Apparently I took a hypocrite oath
Yue Qingyuan: ?

there are a lot of evil people in the world and a lot of darkness in the world and so it’s very important for me to stress that now more than ever is the time to spread kindness and compassion. combat the evil by not only not partaking in it, but actively refuting it. destroy the notion that being compassionate or generous or kind to someone is uncool or embarrassing or even scary. be the change you want to see. start a chain reaction. positivity only breeds more positivity. do an act of kindness for someone so that that person who is too afraid to do it themselves can see you, realize that they’re not alone, and perhaps sheepishly follow your example. and then the next person who is too afraid but sees that person can do the same. when bad news comes out about bad people or horrible atrocities in the world it’s such an easy impulse to despair, and obviously it’s important to feel what you need to feel. grieve. be angry. be sorrowful. be empathetic. but dust off your pants and get up and be a part of a chain reaction that, no matter how small the scale, and spread compassion and love and care. all the reasons why you might not—“it’s hard! it’s scary! people will make fun of me! it’s useless because there’s too much evil!” are all grade A arguments as to why you should. you have no idea how many people you could inspire to do the same. even if it doesn’t get you anyway far, you can at least say you have the nobility of trying. please choose love and please choose life. you are worth loving and you are worth inspiring others to love

Guilty Gear is great because depending on when in the story you're looking, the main character's weapon of choice is either "A big piece of concrete he stuck a piece of rebar into as a handle so he could hit stuff with it", or "This setting's equivalent of Excalibur, combined with a magical lightbulb that he stole from the UN, creating a magical thermonuclear rail cannon capable of blowing up literal gods, which he built himself because he has a PhD in magical theoretical particle physics" and those are the only weapons he has wielded in the entire series

One of the recurring philosophical questions is:
"Does a falling tree in the forest make a sound when there is no one to hear?"
Which says something about the nature of philosophers, because there is always someone in a forest. It may only be a badger, wondering what that cracking noise was, or a squirrel a bit puzzled by all the scenery going upwards, but someone. At the very least, if it was deep enough in the forest, millions of small gods would have heard it.
Things just happen, one after another. They don't care who knows. But history...ah, history is different. History has to be observed. Otherwise it's not history. It's just...well, things happening one after another.

God's Secrets are His, God's Word is Ours
Deuteronomy 29:29
The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Though God hasn't told us even about the world, it is not for us to know or discover. He has told us what He wants us to know and understand, and for that we ought to be exceedingly grateful that He has shared such valuable wisdom so that we may not be lost! And it's free!
