I need you all to understand how much Si.gy.n as a goddess of victory is to me.

(Like yes, the idea of her as a fidelity goddess is important too. But that's been discussed and twisted to hell and back.)

That and the idea that she keeps surviving. Everything she's put through, including R*gnarok, she survives.

Why? Because what is the ultimate victory if not to survive when the ones you tried to kill you and those you love die in the process?

Is it hard to go on after? Fuck yes it is. So incredibly hard. But she goes on and makes sure the new world remembers those she lost, that they remeber the INNOCENTS that were cut down for spite of others.

people who like r*gnarok too much have the weirdest thor opinions. have recently seen someone repeatedly refer to bruce as thor's "best friend" and the r*vengers as "found family". ?????

i could not agree more. if they weren��t going to have loki explicitly explain what he went through, a flashback would’ve worked even… they just completely ignored it which was so absurd to me.

loki is the only character that can go through an insane, life changing event, and the directors/writers won’t acknowledge it outside of “haha you’re a bad person, loki. and you’re a narcissist too even if your actions and motives quite literally prove that you were doing those things to be acknowledged. something a true narcissist would not feel as though they have to do.”

they teased the fact that loki was “persuaded” by thanos/his subordinates only to pretty much never mention it ever again. lmfao. the only thing we got was that he definitely was affected by the mind stone/scepter, too. and not just the avengers.

i wish the mcu directors/writers didn’t hate loki so much. and if you point out how careless they are, you are told you are being too picky, and that you dislike.. “character development.” which is so sick since they consider the series to be character development and not mischaracterization…

i also wish we knew more about how loki being a frost giant, but with the appearance of an asgardian affects him physically, and mentally for him.

we do know that as you can see in the bottom right corner, that loki’s body temperature is read as very, very cold. this is perhaps one of the only acknowledgments (outside of thor 2011) of how loki being a jotun affects him physically.

(most definitely not counting that play in r*gnarok as it absolutely makes no sense for loki to openly talk about and joke around about his heritage and being a.. “little blue baby icicle” considering the fact that the people of asgard canonically have a serious dislike towards the people of jotunheim, and the fact that loki was canonically ashamed of his jotun heritage.)

but this is just taika waititi and his inability to take anything seriously, or put any kind of care into his work. which he’s actually admitted himself.

question for any other fans of loki who specifically like the 2011 - 2013 versions of him:

if we did have a loki centered movie/series exploring either loki after the events of tdw, a prequel, or anything else, what would you guys want explored, explained, etc… in it? please add onto this, or even send me an ask! would love to see what you guys would think loki content should’ve consisted of/been about. or even just anything where various questions would’ve been answered. like more about his jotun heritage, his time with thanos between 2011 and 2012, etc..

Fair warning, I am absolutely going to gatekeep Jane Foster. I was fine when Wanda gained such a huge fanbase post-WandaVision because she was so underserved by the plot before, so having been a fan since 2014/15 (whenever they announced the twins being in AoU and we started getting behind-the-scenes promo) it’s great to see her being so popular now. It’s just people seeing how awesome she’s been all along. But no, you do not get to come in and say you love Jane now that she’s Thor/has powers if you’re also a person who has ignored her existence for years or said that she’s boring and useless and “not Thor’s equal” because she can’t fight.

This includes Feige and Waititi and their stupid sexist comments, women (or any people!) don’t have to be physical fighters to be badass. Jane has been badass and amazing the entire time because she’s an astrophysicist and loves science and is endlessly curious. Those are the traits that A. got her a Nobel prize, B. let her help save the world with science, C. are the reasons Thor fell in love with her in the first place.

I absolutely love Jane as Thor in comics, but the reason she’s so incredible is not because she fights her enemies with the powers of a god, but because she does that while being human. That is quite literally the entire point of her story.
