How are the relationships between the team Ben quartets in the Gwen and 23 universes like?

23’s universe

Ben and Gwen- not great, they do not get along whatsoever. They barely miss each other either since they never got to bond like thier other counterparts.

Gwen and Kevin- not fully sure they would date but they definitely like each other since Gwen doesn’t care about Ben getting smacked around by Kevin. Gwen may become an antagonist to Ben along with Kevin.

Ben and Kevin- Kevin despises him and Ben thinks very shallowly of Kevin at first. That is until he becomes a problem that 23 has to deal with. Finding out about his past lessens 23s hate towards Kevin, but nothing changes for Kevin accept to make him angrier at the world when 23 tries to sympathize with losing a family member.

Ben and Rook- like I said before grade A student with the one who thinks they’re too cool for school. They get along well enough and 23 does amaze Rook but only so much. He slowly come to realize 23 is kinda a brat overtime, but over that period of time 23 doesn’t mellow out as much as he starts to see the more darker sides of reality. So it’s a two things at once always with these two.

Albedo and Ben- this universes albedo is the same as prime, except he is right in thinking letting the kid keep the watch can only spell disaster. 23 just turns around, calls Albedo a sad soggy mop and a hater, then leaves. Kid cares very little about what albedo has to say and is very rude about it.

Lucy and Ben- these two get into so many shenanigans together that it’s ridiculous. They are each others lack of self control. Little chaos gremlins sharing the same impulsive brain cell.

Gwen mostly avoids anyone in Ben’s life in 23s universe so she doesn’t interact much with people he’s around.

Gwen 10

Ben and Gwen- pretty much like siblings with how close they are. Since both of them dabble in magic they’re constantly bringing new spells they found to one another. Gwen never had the same issue Ben did in my aus Prime universe with too much mana. Anodites aren’t ment to avoid use of their mana. thankfully, Gwen was so invested in magic despite already having the watch that she never had to deal with an overload of mana to such an extreme extent since she uses her magic occasionally during the day.

Kevin and Gwen- their relationship in this au is the closest you’ll get to the prime one. Except now that Kevin has complete control over his absorption abilities and no longer has the side effect of madness to worry about. they’re a terrifying and efficient duo. He often partially transforms to whatever alien that is needed in any situation to best tag team enemies. She however now gets the great luck of accidentally destroying the crap outta Kevin’s stuff, but she always makes sure to replace it or help fixing it.

Ben and Kevin- since it was still Ben who Kevin ran away with in classic most story beats stay the same with thier relationship. though Kevin feels guilt towards him being the reason Ben turned his own mana slightly radioactive to avoid further absorption. Ben feels also feels guilt to not trying hard enough to convince Kevin during the classic series to stop his warpath.

Gwen and Charmcaster- they get along quite well, Gwen is happy and annoyed to have Hope around, she wouldn’t change time to have it any other way. Though her snobby attitude to knowing more spells and curses than Gwen definitely gets on her nerves and Gwen’s very follow the rules and guidelines mentality gives Hope a headache. Hope was slow to trust Gwen and vice versa, thought once they learnt to trust they other they’ll always have each others back. They often are each others first to call person when in a pickle since they are a bit more level headed in everyday situations than the two boys, but not by much.

Charmcaster and Kevin- two reformed ex villains… they are both enablers to the others somewhat old habits at times, Kevin secretly (completely by accident) taught her the trade of con artist. She now con’s students down on their luck with her mini store of random common misplaced items, (one of the common items is a geiger counter). And Hope has shown him how to make smoke bombs and other quick getaway tricks.( he uses them often im not so legal trades when things go south) they however don’t hang out much alone since things are awkward between the two since they are not very social people.

Charmcaster and Ben- they get along like a house on fire. Put two people who always kinda wished to have a sibling into a somewhat sibling like bond and you get these two. Hope took most to Ben out of the other two due to his more strangeness. Also he is the one who kept hold of her book for years in the hopes of giving it back.(he felt bad for kinda inadvertently stealing it back in classic). Both are grateful to the others assistance to their own weakness. Ben willingly allows Hope to draw on his extra mana (as long as she gives warning) so that she doesn’t have to stick so close to ledgerdomain in worries of being at risk of low energy. This also aids Ben in not being overwhelmed with too much mana of his own. And in return she has to teach him all she knows of magic and anything he could possibly do with his mana.

Ben and sunny- (Since Gwen is still the golden child of the family now having the watch and the spark Sunny doesn’t feel very completaive with Ben.) In fact Sunny wants to see Ben succeed not over her but over Gwen. But when she and Ben meet in alien force he has already lost his human form and been fully awakened. Instead of wanting to get stronger he… wants to build his body back? Sunny thinks Ben is very strange and Ben feel sympathy for Sunny being the black sheep of the family but doesn’t tolerate how ignorant she is of others and their opinion’s.

Julie and Ben- the same in prime but they did not break up. Julie still has ship and goes to tennis matches internationally but this does not affect her relationship with Ben. They are very sweet together, though Ben does drive her nuts about how oblivious he is to social and romantic cues at times and Julie is sometimes waaaay to vague about things for Ben. They do talk things out when things get tough.

Julie and Charmcaster- they get along and Julie gets to interduce Hope to the childhood she missed and stuff she never knew. She feels pitty for Hope but keeps that to herself as Hope would not appreciate being pittied.

The plumbers kids(the rooters arc isn’t cannon to this au) and the trio+2

Manny. He likes none of them, he will not tell anyone why but he will challenge you to a fight to find out why and decide to change the rules on why he won’t tell you after regardless if he wins or loses, Hope has definitely thrown him through a few things after getting fed up with him for that.

Helen. She enjoys Hopes presence and tolerates the rest to varying degrees. she is fine with the rest but only slightly iffy on Kevin after his whole driven to insanity arc. She stays polite to him much like Alan though. Her and Gwen no matter how hard they try just can’t manage to be anything beyond polite and quietly annoyed with each other.

Alan. Vibes with all of them, took a while to trust Kevin again but now they’re buddy buddy with each other, both car enjoyers. He and Hope acknowledge the other exist but thats as far as it goes.

Pierce. Playful rivalry with Ben, these two will compete for or with anything. Teases Gwen about her going evil often much to her chargin(she pulled the im evil card in one episode like Ben did in alien force as a training stunt). Not a fan of Kevin still. Him and Julie surprisingly get along great with her wing-manning for him when he’s in a bit of a situation when it comes to women. Hope wanting to get in on the rivalry just simply annoys him.

I have much more ideas of what changes and what stays the same in Gwen 10 vs Prime. Like what is effected by Gwen and her way of thinking combined with her having the watch vs Ben and his Just roll with it attitude and boundless mana.

What are the plumber helpers like in the Ben 12 au ( manny, Helen, pierce)

Sorry for the late reply.

As I already mentioned in the answer to the ask about Kevin in dimention 12, Alan, Manny, Helen and Pierce were made part alien through experiments, using Kevin's powers, just like in the show (there just won't be a retcon of Kevin being a mutant).

As for personalities, since Prime versions of Pierce and Helen are mostly a mirror image of Ben and Gwen, I thought of doing something like that too: Helen is energetic and fun like my Gwen and Pierce is empathetic and altruistic like my Ben.

And with the other two, I'll have to think over if I should leave Manny as hot-headed and rebellious and Alan as mature and easygoing, but I think it's a very likely variant.

Love the art. Can't wait to see your version of the Plumbers' Kids (and Kevin's transformation), but it got me thinking. I know you retconned the Rooter retcon, in that they're not genetically modified hybrids, but how did they come to be?

It's hard to imagine an osmosian and a human creating an offspring considering they're completely different species, let alone a tetramand or a pyronite.

I have a whole system behind hybrids in Ben 10. For starters, quite a few aliens can have kids with each other naturally if they are close enough. So a tetramand and human, or even a kineceleran and human, can have kids, they just often have to be wary of issues that could arise. But the more unnatural a pairing is, the harder to have a kid is naturally, to the point that you get cases where they can't have a kid naturally. But there are many facilities that help via science to help parents have kids if they can't naturally. This is often taking the parents gamete cells, and raising the baby in a test tube like environment so they can control the entire process from the start, sometimes having to select specific genes to make sure the kid can live a healthy life. One of the most successful facilities is on Galvan Prime, run by a galvan doctor named Doctor Geno, she's a friend of Azmuth's sister. Of course there are limits to what aliens can have kids with each other, but as science grows each day, some things that were thought to be impossible have become possible, so you never know what could be made next. Hybrids also seem to function a 70/30 percent rule, in that they take after one species gene more than the other. E.g Helen is more kineceleran than human. Hybrids can only be two things as well, you can't get a big mix of many aliens in one alien. Though there are some that break these rules, like anodites and osmosians due to how their genetics work. So in terms of the plumber kids, ones like Helen and Manny were naturally made, though Alan was made via the science route when his parents went to one of these facilities. In terms of Kevin, since you mentioned osmosians, they behave more by inheriting powers. Due to osmosian having DNA absorption, it means a lot of them are able to have kids with many races, but their hybrids don't look like them. They will always look like the alien species their other parent is, beyond maybe getting minor things like eye or hair colour. What the kids inherit is the matter and energy absorption powers, though not really the DNA absorption (unless the omnitrix is involved lol). So they're kind of a changeling vibe with them. So Kevin looks entirely human, but as a hybrid as the powers.

-Joshua Armstrong- The 14-year-old son (Demiboy) of Helen and Manny, along with being Becky’s younger sibling. Joshua is a very rare case of a child of two hybrids inheriting the same side either parent has, in this case human. He certainly sticks out within his family, especially given his sister was born fully alien. Many expected Joshua to feel like an outcast within his galactic family, something his parents were very worried over. But Joshua is kind of just a chill guy who cruises through life. Enjoys music and skating, he’s never seemed to have an issue with his genetics. Even has a cool relationship with his older sister, very casual in their dynamic.

-Archer Redwind- The 10-year-old son of Looma and Ackhill (OC), and younger brother to Aife. Archer is a delightful young boy, with a lot of energy to spare. A little too much at times, as he has a habit of running into danger without thinking, but it is to be expected in Tetramand culture. He idolises his sister, and is her number one cheerleader. He’s eager to be a war hero like her, that he has trouble understanding he still needs time to grow up. -Taha- The adopted 24-year-old daughter (MtF) of Tini and Synaptak. When the Galactic Enforcers opened up try outs for new members, the three leaders were surprised to see a 13-year-old among the candidates. Upon talking to them, they learnt that Taha was an orphan who ran to the try outs the moment she heard, having been a big fan of the heroes for as long as she could remember. It didn’t take long for Tini to scoop up the little fish, claiming she only wanted to “mentor” the next generation of heroes, but everyone knew she had practically adopted Taha, much to Synaptak’s dismay. But he warmed up to the kid when seeing her smarts and bravery, bonding over their mental powers. Taha is a bright star among the Galactic Enforcers, a beaming hero with a golden heart, even if she can be a little cheesy in her mannerisms.  

-Valentina- The 25-year-old daughter of Rojo and Azul. Valentina came about during a time Rojo and her gang decided to change tactics in their life, finding a place for themselves in Undertown after helping out a couple of homeless folk or runaway families in need of help. Turns out they had a calling beyond being robbers. Opening up a shelter, Rojo and her girls focus on helping the weak in need, mostly abuse victims or young kids. Now Valentina and her own friends help run it, Valentina often out and about keeping danger away, like sketchy folk hanging around Undertown. She has the local nickname “Espina De Rosa”, and many do not like dealing with her, as it’s best to avoid her temper. She’s a spiteful woman, and loves sticking up for the weak, even if she goes a little overboard. 

-Isabell- A 23-year-old Human/Arorenda hybrid woman. Bell’s family used to be members of the shelter until they got a better path in life, but Isabell always kept in contact before joining when she was older, being a close friend of Valentina. She’s a beauty in Undertown, and commonly gets a lot of flirty looks her way, and she holds herself with confidence and being polite. It leads to some underestimating her, but when needed to she is quite the skillful fighter, using some of her fire to send a few messages to those that don’t take her politeness as a chance to back away. She connects with a lot of folks in the shelter, many of them feeling safe talking to her.

-Helga- A 26-year-old Human/Shocksquatch hybrid woman. Helga met Valentina in Undertown during a scuffle she aided in, eventually joining the shelter as she found it a good way to express her energy in a helpful way. Helga is playful, but also intimidating without realising it. She’s not always the brightest of people, but her strength helps a lot in keeping the shelter up and running. She’s known to be an escort for people who don’t feel safe alone, and always has a sense for danger that others might miss.

-Charlie- The 16-year-old kid (Genderfluid) of J.T and Sabrina (OC). Known for being tired and done with everything 24/7, Charlie just wants to work hard and get through school without any issue to live a reasonable life. Sadly, they’re best friends with Sereia Murray, and thus has to be the main brain cell holder of the two. In a world of constant world threats and endless space, Charlie thinks it’s none of their problem, but the world seems to disagree. But it’s not all bad, and Sereia is at least a genuine friend despite the chaos she brings.

-Briley- The 16-year-old adopted daughter of Emily and Jon (OC). Briley's family history isn’t the most cheerful, her original parents, and human and lewodan, spent quite a bit of hospital money to have her, only to realise that parenthood was nothing like they thought it would be, and thus gave her up. Briley loves her current parents, and will forever be grateful for them taking her in, but whether or not the truth of her birth still stings she never talks about. Growing up, Briley was Thea’s childhood best friend, the girls did a lot together and never seemed to have any issues. Until they had a massive falling out when they were 12-13 that they never talked about again, and everyone watched the two drift away. Briley now studies at a prestigious school, focusing on her work and moving up in her life. She can come across as uptight, but really it’s a sense of proving she can make it in this world.

-Cotopaxi- The 20-year-old daughter of Vulkanus and Krakatoa (OC). When Vulkanus needed a place to hide away from the cops, he stumbled upon a lady named Krakatoa. He somehow managed to swoon her, moved into her place, only to get kicked up when she learnt the truth of who he was. Cotopaxi was born later, and since then has been trying to live a life without her father. Sadly for her, Vulkanus tries to be in her life, but is a lousy father as he just can’t change who he is. Giving the bare minimum for child support, and every birthday gift he got her ended up being something stolen she had to return. Now as an adult, Cotopaxi is leading a successful life researching rocks and minerals for places like Galvan Prime, but still has to deal with her loser father trying to be a part of her life.  

-Sinen- The 17-year-old apprentice (Nonbinary) to Sunder. Sinen is a loud, bombastic lad that has a fantastic time living life on the edge. It seems strange for someone like Sunder to have taken in a kid that is so out there, but he’s actually a pretty good teacher to the excitable bat. Sinen is basically the close friend to Oneone, the two spending a lot of time blowing stuff up. When they heard Oneone was forced to join a Plumber team to “work on his behaviour”, Sinen thinks it’s the funniest thing ever. Though a part of them does secretly think this might help their friend, knowing Oneone has been having identity issues for a while.

-Rook Mar- The 9-year-old son of Rook Shim and Dasht (OC). Mar is one of Rilla’s cousins, and is the eldest of his siblings. He has three younger sisters, one newly born. He strives himself to be the best big brother, and has a habit of trying to act older than he actually is. But he is a sweetheart and very responsible for his age. Though as he grows, he finds himself curious about city life rather than country life. 

-Me'alla- The 20-year-old child (Agender) of Viktor and Liesl (OC). Me’alla takes after their father quite a lot, being a hard working genius, though lacks his darker background. Given his history, he has made sure to teach his child to be kind and more open to the world than he ever was, leading them to be a wise young adult. Me’alla has even become a teacher for the young children of the Anur System, having a lot of patience, no matter the crazy thrown their way. Though Me’alla is a little protective of their home, and will be quick to jump to it’s defence no matter the danger it puts them in.

-Satis- The 17-year-old daughter of Set (The Mummy) and Nephthys (OC). Satis is mute just like her father, though has better communication with others via local sign language she started learning when she was very young, and is more people friendly than her father is. That being said she can be just as quiet and calm as her father, a drifting shadow on a mission. This eventually led to her becoming the bodyguard of a young prince to one of the royal groups around her homeworld, Prince Atbek II. She takes her job seriously, even if she can be a little too intense at times.

-Prince Atbek II- The 14-year-old prince to the royal family Kha’Sahur. Due to his upbringing, Atbek is very proper in his mannerisms, having held himself high since the moment he could walk. He’s so used to his lifestyle that he can sometimes be a little oblivious to it, an inside joke among his friends. He’s an old friend of Etherea’liss, being the one who pays for the group’s letters to her while she is out training with the Plumbers. He is very keen to see her build bridges with the galaxy, as his political side sees the many benefits through this.

-Cerebell Uzz & Stalwart Uzz- A pair of 13-year-old Transylian twins. Another pair of friends from Etherea’liss home, the pair are known by the locals as being kind of insane, as their method of research and learning always goes above and beyond what it normally should. Property damage is to be expected from them. But they mean well, and are loving people, just getting a bit too far in their own brains to realise the consequences they may create. Cerebell is a little more crazy than her brother as she happily chooses to be the test subject 99% of the time, while Stalwart at least has some form of safety measures to not kill his sister.

-Mosbach, Freki & Dira- The 16-year-old children of Baskerville (The Werewolf) and Lupercal (OC). Each sibling is rather distinct in personality. Mosbach (FtM) is the most reasonable of his siblings, often keeping his sisters in check. He likes collecting things he finds in the works and crafting new things out of it, shaping nature in his own image. He is also a friend of Etherea’liss, and worries over the hard work she must be putting in at training. Freki is the largest of her siblings, and likes displaying her strength, accepting challenges and hunts with other teens, and is a popular figure among them for how cool she is. She also has been seen wearing a piece of jewellery that clearly comes from the Thep Khufan, so rumours are that she might be dating one. Dira is the smallest, and the little shadow of the family. She sneaks out a lot to explore and party, often ending up with her father tracking her down and dragging her home. She wants to be like Freki, but comes across as more wild and less chill than her.

-Lady Cama Umbra- The 15-year-old distant niece of Lord Transyl. When Zs’skayr came back, he knew he needed to collect new minions to start his awful ways again. He rounded up a few young folk to manipulate over his side, but decided he wanted to try again with his original vladat plans. Except this time he wouldn’t bring back someone like Lord Transyl, wanting someone younger that wouldn’t lead to a power struggle with. So he found the remains of another family member, some random niece of Lord Transyl, and brought her back. Only it appears the young lady did not have the same pride and bloodlust as her family, still young enough to be innocent enough that she freaked out upon hearing what Zs’skayr had to say, before running away, being found by Jay and Etherea’liss. She just lives between Zs’skayr old crew, who wish to make amends for what their old boss did, and teach Cama about the world around her. Because while Cama isn’t as bad as her family, it’s very clear she was sheltered and still parrots a lot of what the grown ups in her life said about the locals. Cama is dealing with a lot since being revived, but is willing to learn.

-Circy- A 13-year-old Fortumina. Circy is another friend of Etherea’liss, a childhood friend at that since their families are old friends. Circy knew of Etherea’liss Plumber dreams, and while she supported her friend, she had her own reserves towards the Plumbers and the outerworld. She does wish for something better, but fears pushing it will cause more harm than good. Circy has a joking personality, but under that is a lot of wisdom for someone her age. She holds the friend group together with Etherea’liss gone, even though she is deep in her magical studies. 

-Myli- A 14-year-old Mortechrum (Demiboy). Given the common view of the mortechrum, a young Myli had been surprised when Etherea’liss and Circy wanted to be his friend. He had always been taught by his family to beware the hand that feeds you, and thus took a long time warming up to the girls and eventual other friends in the group. Once he did though his real personality shined, being playful and always eager to help. Though when around strangers he goes quiet and watches with wide eyes, often unnerving people. 

-Bai'Kel- A 13-year-old Anoplopisth. He had been the most recent member of Etherea’liss anur friend group, and he is a little unusual to people who don’t understand him. Bai’kel is not very expressive, and thus his phrasing with words can sometimes sound a little off putting, sometimes being scarily honest with no filter. He doesn’t mean to be rude, it’s just who he is and is hard to read. But he is very loyal, often shadowing his friends to make sure they’re safe, something they don’t realise half the time.
