Hi could you please write something about Charles Leclerc x famous reader attending the f1 75 live event and jack whitehall decided to address the fact that she's always been more famous of Charles in a funny way
i love doing charles and famous reader so much
The crystal glasses clink softly around you as Jack Whitehall's voice echoes through the venue. You're nestled comfortably in your seat at the Ferrari table, Charles' arm draped casually across the back of your chair, his thumb absently stroking your shoulder.
"Ladies and gentlemen, we need to address the elephant in the room," Jack announced, pacing dramatically. "We have actual royalty here tonight - and no, I'm not talking about Prince Charles of Monaco over there." He gestured to Charles, who was already starting to blush.
From your seat, you squeezed Charles's hand under the table as he tried to maintain his composed smile.
"We have YN, global superstar, winner of literally every music award invented, and somehow - somehow - she's dating a man whose biggest achievement this year was finishing a race without Ferrari messing up his strategy."
Charles dropped his head, shoulders shaking with silent laughter while you covered your mouth, trying to stifle your own giggles.
"It's fascinating really," Jack continued, "YN's last stadium tour had more attendance than the entire F1 season combined. She's got more platinum records than Charles has pole positions. When they go out, people ask him 'Oh, are you YN's boyfriend?' and he just has to nod and say 'Yes, I'm the Ferrari driver who can't catch Verstappen.'"
You leaned into Charles's shoulder as he wrapped an arm around your waist, both of you red-faced from holding in laughter.
"But look at them - they're adorable. She shows up to every race wearing Ferrari red, probably the only person still believing in Ferrari's strategy besides Charles himself. It's true love, people. Though I have to wonder if she wrote 'Crash Into Me' before or after watching Charles' qualifying sessions..."
Charles buried his face in his hands while you rubbed his back soothingly, both of you unable to contain your laughter anymore.
As the laughter around you settled, Charles grinned, his arm still comfortably around your waist. He leaned in closer, his voice playful but sincere. "You know, despite all the teasing, I really enjoy being your less famous boyfriend."
You looked up at him, surprised by the honesty in his tone. "Oh, do you now?"
"Absolutely," he said, his smile widening. "It's actually kind of nice to be the one who gets to sit in the crowd while youâre on stage, getting all the attention. Makes me feel⊠special, in a way."
You chuckled, nudging him gently. "I think you're just here for the perks. Free front-row seats to concerts, and I guess being in the Ferrari pit lane doesnât hurt either."
He pretended to think it over, then smirked. "Okay, maybe a little bit. But mostly, I just love being the guy who gets to hold your hand when you're not on stage, and be the one you turn to when you need a break from all the chaos."
You smiled softly, leaning in to kiss him on the cheek. "Well, lucky for you, youâre stuck with me, you softie."
Charles grinned, pulling you a little closer. "I wouldnât have it any other way."

this kind of fits in with your rockstar txt concept a little bit idk but studio sex with producer!beomgyu and singer!reader. idk it's been on my mind for a while and I feel like you get it
ahhh!!! what a delicious concept I feel like I could've gone in 10 different directions for this one (which is why it took a while). I hope you like it đ©·đ©·đ©·
pairing: producer!beomgyu x singer!reader
summary: the recording process comes with a few rewards, including but not limited to: global success, awards and accolades, and some special attention from your producer
warnings: afab reader (no prounouns used)/ cockwarming/ vague mention of consensual sexual audio recording/ lil bit of pinching/ use of "baby" for reader
word count: 600+
âRight there. Listen to those drums in the back.â Your producer points out the rhythmic beat supporting your newest track. Itâs the kind of beat that makes you want to sway your hips and dance- which makes it even harder to sit still on his lap.
Youâve been working with Beomgyu for years. All your favorite songs were produced by him here, in his small, cozy studio. Youâve been here a lot lately, logging hours in the recording booth and hours on the studio couch. Sometimes Beomgyu plays you the tracks, asks you what sound youâre envisioning and explains his thought process. Sometimes he plays with your pussy, laying you out on the worn cushions, eating you out until all you can say is his name. Sometimes- like right now- he does both.
Beomgyu leans forward to turn a dial on the giant board of knobs and switches, turning up the volume so you can better hear the intricacies of the mix. His movement drives his cock deeper into you, drawing a soft moan from your lips.
âShhh, baby. Listen.â His voice ghosts over the shell of your ear as his fingers pinch at the soft skin of your inner thigh. You canât help but twitch away from the teasing, moving yourself again on his dick, growing even wetter and more impatient as you wait for him to finish the playthrough and just fuck you already.
This is his favorite game to play. He loves to tease you with his fingers, get you so worked up and wet, then slip you onto his cock, sit back in his producerâs chair, and play you your album. If you bounce or grind your hips, he starts over from the beginning. It drives you crazy every time, makes you desperate, pleading with him not to pause, to play at two-times speed. That worked once- youâd asked to see what a sped-up tiktok version would sound like and he obliged. Instead torturing you to cum again and again bent over the mixing board after he guessed what you were up to.
His fingers find your clit, drawing large circles around it so that only the faintest of sensations register where you want it. âFinal track baby. Think you can be good?â
You nod, desperate for the final, four-minute ballad to play through. You curse yourself for wanting to go all-out for this track. It was heaven when you recorded vocals last week, a rush of accomplishment and achievement. Now, it was hell to wade through as you forced yourself to sit still, Beomgyuâs perfect cock so hard inside you, filling you up perfectly.
The track ends, fading away to the piano melody that loops perfectly into the same melody at the beginning of the first track. If you were in your right headspace youâd note how skilled of a producer Beomgyu is, how he perfectly executed your vision and sonically expressed your emotions. But all you could think about as the final notes played out was how desperate you were to get well and truly fucked.
âSo did you like it?â He twitches his hips up slightly to push into you.
âObviously.â He rolls them again, welcome friction against your walls.
âWhat did you like specifically?â He was toying with you now, and you werenât going to have it.
âIâll tell you the specifics after you make me cum.â You turned as best you could on his lap, gazing up into his dark brown eyes.
He kisses your cheek, humming. âHmm, deal.â
The red ârecording in progressâ light flashes on outside the studio doors as Beomgyu begins to snap his hips up into yours, holding you tight as he takes out the album lengthâs worth of pent-up need into your soaked pussy.
authorâs note: this is a work of fiction not meant to accurately represent the idol. please do not repost.

wang yibo - loewe feature interview đ€
In between taking shelter from the rain, while the crew on set was busy moving equipment, we were determined to seize this precious moment and have a conversation with China's highly anticipated all-around artist Wang Yibo on the set of the 2025 Spring/Summer global campaign.
Wang Yibo not only served as a torchbearer for the Paris Olympics Games but was also nominated for the Golden Rooster Award for his outstanding performance in the movie "Hidden Blade" released in 2023. He even played with tennis superstar Novak Djokovic on the Great Wall.
However, this is just the tip of the iceberg of his colorful life: the new LOEWE global brand ambassador has also achieved impressive results in the Zhuhai Station of the Asian Road Motorcycle Championship and the Zhuhai Station of the 2024 GTSC Series. His love of speed and passion is also reflected in rock climbing, cave exploration, and Discovery's new program "Exploring the Unknown". In the program, he ventured deep into the tropical rainforest of Hainan to challenge his survival skills.
In between the sound of camera shutters, we explored the secrets of Wang Yibo's multifaceted life.
Q: "How does it feel to work with the LOEWE creative team on this campaign?"
WYB: "The shoot was a pleasure and I loved the outdoor scenes. The air was fresh, the environment was beautiful, and there was a mountain that looked perfect for rock climbing!"
Q: "Not all LOEWE global brand ambassadors or ambassadors can show off their skills on the racetrack! So how do you reconcile your work in music, film and fashion with your identity as a racing driver?"
WYB : "LOEWE's creativity itself is very diverse and has infinite possibilities. I like to try some new challenges, and we all pursue innovation."
Q: "Can you tell us about your passion for motorcycling or GT3 racing?"
WYB: "I love the feeling of speed and the thrill of competition."
Q: "How do you balance your multiple careers and interests? Do you ever feel like one career takes up too much of your time and you neglect the others?"
WYB: "These things are not contradictory in themselves. Works can take me to experience different lives, and hobbies allow me to be myself. I just need to focus on doing the one thing I want to do at each stage."
Q: "So far, you have been involved in many fields of art creation, including music, film and television, and dance. Can you talk about how you got started?
WYB: "It must be because of my love for dance that I started on the path of art."
Q: "Is there a similar sense of intensity and excitement in the arts and sports you participate in?"
WYB: "Both require a lot of concentration and adequate preparation. Artworks are relatively more enjoyable, while sports activities are more exciting."
Q: "What was it like playing tennis with Novak Djokovic on the Great Wall?"
WYB: "It was unforgettable, and there may never be another opportunity like this."
Q: "Are fashion, sports and acting more connected than most people think?"
WYB: "Although they seem to cross boundaries, they are actually a manifestation of inner spirit. They all show a person's spiritual outlook and convey a person's attitude."
Q: "What does 'craft' mean to you?"
WYB: "No matter what field you are in, passion is an indispensable driving force. For me, 'craftsmanship' is a spirit of innovation. I can feel passion and innovation in the style of LOEWE. It is simple, pure and full of soul, truly embodying the essence of Spanish craftsmanship, transforming the beauty of life into a comfortable and pleasing fashion art."

First Brazilian to win global prize for young scientists studying psychotic disorders
Fabiana Corsi Zuelli, 34, stands out in a competitive selection process with nearly 90,000 global candidates

When Fabiana Corsi Zuelli traveled to Plovdiv, Bulgaria, in November 2024, she had no idea her trip would result in such a life-changing recognition. At 34, the RibeirĂŁo Preto-based researcher is no stranger to accolades, having received six prestigious awards from international scientific societies. Yet none have been as impactful as the one she received at the Medical University of Plovdiv.
The Universal Science Education and Research Network (Usern) presented its ninth annual award, designed to honor the academic achievements of researchers under the age of 40 in five scientific fields. Winning in the Medical Sciences category, Ms. Zuelli made history as the first Brazilian to be named a laureate, emerging from a competitive selection process that drew nearly 90,000 candidates worldwide.
Since her win, Ms. Zuelli has been overwhelmed by the attention her work has garnered, including multiple media interviews. She attributes the increased visibility to the credibility of the Usern board, which includes over 600 renowned scientists, including 20 Nobel Prize laureates. âI was thrilled because this recognition highlights the importance of scientific work. Many people arenât aware of what happens in academia, so this is a chance for us to share our research,â she says.
Ms. Zuelliâs award recognizes her research conducted between 2016 and 2024 during her masterâs and doctorate studies in neurosciences at the RibeirĂŁo Preto Medical School of the University of SĂŁo Paulo (FMRP-USP). Her work focused on uncovering the biological and environmental mechanisms behind psychotic disorders, which affect approximately 1% of the global population.

A thorough analysis of medals, ribbons, and awards in Top Gun: Maverick
Have you ever wanted to know what medals The Dagger Squad and company wear in TGM? I did, and then I just kept reading and then I started a google doc and now I have a list I can share with all of you! (I feel like my brain might actually be melting)
I have done my absolute best to identify as many of their medals/ribbons as possible based on the clearest images I could find, and I have tried my best to comment on how realistic they may be for these characters. The photos I referenced for this deep dive are included at the bottom of this post.
Analysis below the cut
LT. Jake âHangmanâ Seresin He wears 9 ribbons on his uniform.Â
Air Medal (is awarded for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.)
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Jake wears an additional device on his but it doesnât look like a star. It is likely a bronze âVâ for valour worn to denote that the award was given for combat heroism.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Jake wears 2 bronze stars on this ribbon indicating he has been given this award 3 times.
Navy Unit Commendation (awarded to members of a unit that displayed outstanding acts of heroism).Â
National Defense Service Ribbon (It was awarded to every member of the U.S. Armed Forces who served during any one of four specified periods of armed conflict or national emergency from June 27, 1950, through December 31, 2022.)
Afghanistan Campaign medal (The Afghanistan Campaign Medal is awarded to those who performed duty within the borders of Afghanistan (or its airspace) for a period of thirty consecutive days or sixty non-consecutive days.) * The pin Jake wears on his ribbon looks like a Fleet Marine Force combat operation insignia indicates that he may have been assigned to a unit that operated under a Marine Corps attachment and carried out duties under the Marine Corps operational controlÂ
Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal (medal may be awarded to members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard, for service in Iraq, Syria, or contiguous waters or airspace)Â
Global War on Terrorism Medal (Awarded to members of the United States military who have supported operations to counter-terrorism anywhere in the world any time after 2001)Â
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.) *Jake wears two stars on his ribbon. I canât tell if they are silver or bronze. Bronze would indicate he has met this criteria 3 times during his service. Two silver stars would 10. Both are possible for his character.Â
From what I can tell, and the research I have done, Jakeâs medals make sense for his age, rank, and experience level. They all seem to be displayed in the correct order of precedence.Â
LT. Natasha âPheonixâ Trace Natasha also wears 9 ribbons on her uniform.Â
Air Medal (is awarded for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.)
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Natasha wears hers with 2 bronze stars which would indicate that she has received the commendation 3 times.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Natasha wears 2 bronze stars on this ribbon indicating she has been given this award 3 times.
National Defense Service Ribbon (It was awarded to every member of the U.S. Armed Forces who served during any one of four specified periods of armed conflict or national emergency from June 27, 1950, through December 31, 2022.)
Afghanistan Campaign Medal (The Afghanistan Campaign Medal is awarded to those who performed duty within the borders of Afghanistan (or its airspace) for a period of thirty consecutive days or sixty non-consecutive days.)
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.) *Natasha wears a pin/device on her ribbon, though itâs significantly smaller than the stars she wears on her other ribbons. The only devices authorized to be worn with this ribbon are bronze or silver stars, so Iâm unsure what it is.Â
NATO Medal (The NATO Medal is a decoration presented by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to recognize international NATO military members who have participated in various peacekeeping operations.) However, there are 10 different variations and versions of this medal and I canât see in enough detail to confirm which one it is that Natasha wears.Â
Again, from the research Iâve done, the ribbons that Natasha wears seem to make sense for her age, rank, and experience level. I have not been able to confirm if her NATO ribbon is in the correct order of presence, but I do believe it is.Â
LT. Bradley âRoosterâ Bradshaw
I can find only one image of him in his uniform and wearing his ribbons. However, I would have to assume that itâs an older photo and would have been taken long before the beginning of the beginning of the TGM film timeline and that he would have more by the time we see him on screen. I would also expect that having his papers pulled and being held back in his career timeline may have changed things for him as well. But, heâs wearing 8 ribbons in the photo. This could be a continuity error but I have no way of knowing for sure. Alas, I can only break down what I can see. (But if anyone can find me a still from the film where we can see his current ribbons Iâd be over the moon).Â
Air Medal (is awarded for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.)
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Bradley wears his with 2 bronze stars which would indicate that he has received the commendation 3 times.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Bradley wears 2 bronze stars on this ribbon indicating he has been given this award 3 times.
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.) *Bradley wears two silver stars on his ribbon which would indicate that he has met this criteria 10 times.Â
Beyond the question of timeline, I would say that these ribbons all make sense for his level of experience, his rank, and his age. The ribbons all seem to be displayed in the correct order of precedence.Â
LT. Mickey âFanboyâ Garcia Mickey wears eight ribbons on his uniform.Â
Air Medal (is awarded for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.)
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Mickey wears his with 2 bronze stars which would indicate that he has received the commendation 3 times.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Mickey wears 1 bronze star on this ribbon indicating he has been given this award 2 times.
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.) *Mickey wears two bronze stars on his ribbon which would indicate that he has met this criteria 3 times.Â
From what I can tell, and the research I have done, all of these medals make sense for his age, rank, and experience level. They all seem to be displayed in the correct order of precedence.Â
LT. Reuben âPaybackâ Fitch Reuben wears 9 ribbons on his uniform
Air Medal (is awarded for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.)
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Reuben wears his with 1 star, but I canât quite tell for sure if itâs bronze or silver. One bronze star would indicate that he has received the commendation 2times. One Silver star would indicate 5 times. Both would be possible.Â
Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal (Awarded to members of the U.S. Armed Forces who, after July 1, 1958, participated in U.S. military operations, U.S. operations in direct support of the United Nations, or U.S. operations of assistance for friendly foreign nations). It is hard to tell from the photos I have if this is for sure the correct medal, but itâs the only one that fits the colour order I can see.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Reuben wears his with 2 bronze stars indicating heâs been given this award 3 times.Â
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.) *Rueben wears one star on his ribbon. I cannot confirm whether it is a bronze star or a silver star. A bronze star would indicate that he has met this criteria 3 times. A silver star would indicate he met this criteria 10 times.Â
If the third ribbon Rueben wears is the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal I am 95% sure it would be in the wrong order. I believe it should come after his Afghanistan Campaign medal and before his Inherent Resolve Campaign medal for them to be displayed in the correct order of precedence.Â
LT. Robert âBOBâ Floyd Robert wears seven ribbons on his uniform.Â
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Bob wears his with 2 bronze stars which would indicate that he has received the commendation 3 times.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Bob wears 2 bronze stars on this ribbon indicating he has been given this award 3 times.
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.) *Bob wears a pin/device on this ribbon, though itâs significantly smaller than the stars he wears on his other ribbons. The only devices authorized to be worn with this ribbon are bronze or silver stars, so Iâm unsure what it is.Â
From what I can tell, and the research I have done, all of these medals make sense for his age, rank, and experience level. They all seem to be displayed in the correct order of precedence.Â
LT. Javy âCoyoteâ Machado Javy wears nine ribbons.
Air Medal (is awarded for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.)
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Javy wears his with 2 star bronze stars so he has been given this commendation 3 times.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Javy wears 1 bronze star on this ribbon indicating he has been given this award 2 times.
Afghanistan Campaign Medal (The Afghanistan Campaign Medal is awarded to those who performed duty within the borders of Afghanistan (or its airspace) for a period of thirty consecutive days or sixty non-consecutive days.)
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.) *Javy wears what looks like one bronze star on this ribbon which would indicate he has met this criteria twice. But I havenât been able to find a clear enough image to confirm.Â
From what I can tell, and the research I have done, all of these medals make sense for his age, rank, and experience level. They all seem to be displayed in the correct order of precedence.Â
CWO Bernie âHondoâ Coleman Hondo wears 15 ribbons on his uniform
Purple Heart (Given to members of the US Military who have been wounded or killed in any action against an enemy of the United States or as a result of an act of any such enemy or opposing armed forces)
Meritorious Service Medal (presented to members of the United States Armed Forces who distinguish themselves with outstanding meritorious achievement or service to the United States.)
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Hondo wears his with 1Â bronze star so he has been given this commendation twice.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Hondo wears 1 bronze star on this ribbon indicating he has been given this award 2 times.
Meritorious Unit Commendation (awarded to members of a unit who have shown Valorous or meritorious achievement or service, or exceptionally meritorious conduct and outstanding achievement or service, in combat or non-combat.)
Navy E Ribbon (Awarded to service members who were on permanent duty aboard a U.S. Navy ship or in a unit that won a battle efficiency competition after July 1, 1974.)* Hondo wears a silver wreathed E pin on his ribbon showing he has received this award 5 or more times.Â
Good Conduct Medal (awarded to any active duty enlisted member of the United States military who completes three consecutive years of "honorable and faithful service," without any non-judicial punishment, disciplinary infractions, or court martial offenses.)
Iraq Campaign Medal (The Iraq Campaign Medal is awarded to those who performed duty within the borders of Iraq (or its territorial waters) for a period of thirty consecutive days or sixty non-consecutive days.)
Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal (For military service members who have deployed overseas in direct service to the War on Terror starting from 2001 to a date to be determined.)Â
Global War on Terrorism Medal (Awarded to members of the United States military who have supported operations to counter-terrorism anywhere in the world any time after 2001)Â
Armed Forces Service Medal (Awarded to Service members who have participated in âsignificant actionâ for which no other service or campaign medal is authorized, ie. military operation that did not encounter foreign armed opposition or imminent hostile action)
Humanitarian Service Medal (Awarded to service members who partake in military acts or operations which are deemed to be humanitarian in nature)Â
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.)
His Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal from what I understand would have later been replaced with the Afghanistan and Iraq Campaign Medals which he has also received and wears. He would not have received all three, so this is odd. Regardless, the ribbons he wears are in the correct order of precedence and make sense for his age and rank. However, I have less direct context and understanding of his role as a Chief Warrant Officer and what his career path may have looked like compared to the Dager Squad members and cannot comment on whether or not he is missing any that you may expect to see on a CWO.Â
CAPT. Pete âMaverickâ Mitchell Maverick wears 22 ribbons on his uniform
Silver Star Medal (awarded primarily to members of the United States Armed Forces for gallantry in action against an enemy of the United States. It is the third-highest decoration for valour in combat)
Legion of Merit (for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.)
Defense Meritorious Service Medal (For members of the armed forces who while serving in a joint activity showed outstanding achievement or meritorious service in non-combat situations, but not of a degree to warrant award of the Defense Superior Service Medal.)
Meritorious Service Medal (awarded to those who have shown meritorious achievement or service to the United States.)
Air Medal (is awarded for single acts of heroism or meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.) *Mav wears a bronze pin device on his ribbon on the second yellow stripe. This is usually a strike/flight numerals device. I cannot make out the number, but this would serve to indicate the number of Strike/Flight awards given for operations in hostile territory and count the total number of Strikes (operations that faced enemy opposition) and Flights (operations that did not encounter enemy opposition) added together.
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of of heroism or meritorious service) *Mav wears his with 3 silver stars implying he has received this award a total of 15 times
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.)
Combat Action Ribbon (Given to United States Sea Service Members who have actively participated in ground or surface combat)
Joint Meritorious Unit Award (given to joint units or units tasked with a joint mission where they have displayed meritorious achievement or service beyond what is normally expected, or for actions in combat with an armed enemy of the, a declared national emergency, or under extraordinary circumstances of national interest)
Navy E Ribbon (Awarded to service members who were on permanent duty aboard a U.S. Navy ship or in a unit that won a battle efficiency competition after July 1, 1974.)* Mav wears a silver E pin on his ribbon showing he has received this award 2 times.Â
National Defense Service Ribbon (It was awarded to every member of the U.S. Armed Forces who served during any one of four specified periods of armed conflict or national emergency from June 27, 1950, through December 31, 2022.)
Armed Forces Service Medal (Awarded to Service members who have participated in âsignificant actionâ for which no other service or campaign medal is authorized, ie. military operation that did not encounter foreign armed opposition or imminent hostile action)
South West Asia Service Medal (Awarded to those who participated in operations in South West Asia between 1990 and 1995. Including participation in operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Operations and support may have been carried out in any of the following nations and/or areas: Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Israel, Eygpt, TĂŒrkiye, Syria, Jordan, Persian Gulf, Red Sea, Gulf of Oman, Gulf of Aden) *Mav wears 2 bronze stars indicating he served in 2 of 3 major campaigns. His bronze stars are pinned in the incorrect positions however, they should not be centred side by side, but rather one on each of the inside yellow stripes.Â
Afghanistan Campaign Medal (The Afghanistan Campaign Medal is awarded to those who performed duty within the borders of Afghanistan (or its airspace) for a period of thirty consecutive days or sixty non-consecutive days.) *Maverick wears two bronze stars on this ribbon indicating he served during 2 of the 6 campaign phases. Once again his stars are in the incorrect positions. Instead of being centred side by side, they should each be on each of the inner black stripes.Â
Iraq Campaign Medal (The Iraq Campaign Medal is awarded to those who performed duty within the borders of Iraq (or its territorial waters) for a period of thirty consecutive days or sixty non-consecutive days.) *Maverick wears two bronze stars on this ribbon indicating he served during 2 of the 7 campaign phases. Once again his stars are in the incorrect positions. Instead of being centred side by side, they should each be on each of the inner black stripes.
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.)
United Nations Medal (award for any action in which a member of the military participated in a joint UN activity)
Kuwait Liberation Medal (Awarded by the government of Kuwait to regional and foreign military personnel who served during the Gulf Warâs âLiberation of Kuwaitâ campaign phase between 1990 and 1993.Â
Navy Rifle Marksmanship Ribbon (Issued to members of the Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard who pass their weapons qualification course with an above-average score) *Mav wears an E on his ribbon indicating that he has achieved an âexpertâ qualification.Â
Navy Pistol Marksmanship Ribbon (Issued to members of the Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard who pass their weapons qualification course with an above-average score) *Mav wears an E on his ribbon indicating that he has achieved an âexpertâ qualification.Â
I do have questions about how many years heâs been serving and only making it to the rank of Captain but he also has not received, or at least does not wear any ribbons for good conduct, and he is known to rock the boat so I will suspend my disbelief.
VADM. Beau âCycloneâ Simpson Cyclone wears 19 ribbons on his uniformÂ
Bronze Star Medal (heroic achievement, heroic service, meritorious achievement, or meritorious service in a combat zone.)
Purple Heart (Given to members of the US Military who have been wounded or killed in any action against an enemy of the United States or as a result of an act of any such enemy or opposing armed forces)
Meritorious Service Medal (awarded to those who have shown meritorious achievement or service to the United States.)
Joint Service Commendation Medal (meritorious achievement or service in a joint duty capacity.)
Navy / Marine Corps commendation medal (is awarded for sustained acts of heroism or meritorious service) *Beau wears his with 2 silver stars so he has been given this commendation 10 times.Â
Navy / Marine Corps Achievement Medal (awarded to those who have performed commendably in routine duties or exceptional achievements, that a higher award has not recognised.) *Cyclone wears 2 bronze stars on this ribbon indicating he has been given this award 3 times.
Navy Unit Commendation (awarded to members of a unit that displayed outstanding acts of heroism). *Cyclone wears a device on this ribbon, itâs not a star, but from what Iâve read there are no other devices authorized to wear with this ribbon. Â
Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation ( for valorous or meritorious achievement or service in combat or non-combat situations)Â
Navy E Ribbon (Awarded to service members who were on permanent duty aboard a U.S. Navy ship or in a unit that won a battle efficiency competition after July 1, 1974.)* Cyclone wears a silver E pin with a wreath on his ribbon showing he has received this award 5 times.Â
Good Conduct Medal (awarded to any active duty enlisted member of the United States military who completes three consecutive years of "honourable and faithful service," without any non-judicial punishment, disciplinary infractions, or court martial offences.) *Beau wears what looks to be 2 stars on this ribbon. I cannot tell what colour they are. 2 bronze would me heâs received this award 3 times for 9 consecutive years of honorable service. 2 silver would mean heâs received this award 10 times for 30 consecutive years of honorable service. However, before 1996 they were awarded every 4 years. So I think weâre likely looking at between 20-25 years of service, which makes sense for his rank.Â
Navy Expeditionary Medal ( Awarded to enlisted Navy service members who were confirmed to have landed on foreign territory and engaged in operations against armed opposition)Â
National Defense Service Ribbon (It was awarded to every member of the U.S. Armed Forces who served during any one of four specified periods of armed conflict or national emergency from June 27, 1950, through December 31, 2022.)
Iraq Campaign Medal (The Iraq Campaign Medal is awarded to those who performed duty within the borders of Iraq (or its territorial waters) for a period of thirty consecutive days or sixty non-consecutive days.)Â
Global War on Terrorism Medal (Awarded to members of the United States military who have deployed in support of the War on Terror to locations beyond Iraq and Afghanistan.)Â
Global War on Terrorism Service Medal (Awarded to members of the United States military who have supported operations to counter-terrorism anywhere in the world any time after 2001)Â
UNIDENTIFIED SERVICE MEDAL
Navy/ Marine Corps Sea Service Ribbon (Given to a member of the Navy and Marine Corps who is assigned to a deployable unit operating away from its home port for 90 days or two consecutive periods of at least 80 days within a 12-month period; or six months stationed overseas.) *Beau wears what looks like one bronze star on this ribbon which would indicate he has met this criteria twice. But I havenât been able to find a clear enough image to confirm.Â
Navy Rifle Marksmanship Ribbon (Issued to members of the Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard who pass their weapons qualification course with an above-average score) *Beau wears an E on his ribbon indicating that he has achieved an âexpertâ qualification.Â

His Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, from what I understand, would have later been replaced with his Iraq Campaign Medal which he has also received and wears. He would not have received both, so this is odd. Regardless, the ribbons he wears are in the correct order of precedence and make sense for his age and rank. However, I have less direct context and understanding of his role as a Vice Admiral and what his career path may have looked like compared to the Dager Squad members, and cannot comment on whether or not he is missing any that you may expect to see on a VADM.Â
RADM. Solomon âWarlockâ Bates Warlock wears 22 ribbons on his uniform
Legion of Merit (for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services and achievements.)
Bronze Star Medal (heroic achievement, heroic service, meritorious achievement, or meritorious service in a combat zone.)

UNIDENTIFIED SERVICE MEDAL

Good Conduct Medal (awarded to any active duty enlisted member of the United States military who completes three consecutive years of "honourable and faithful service," without any non-judicial punishment, disciplinary infractions, or court martial offences.) *Solomon wears what looks to be 2 stars on this ribbon. ATEEZ AT THE ELLE STYLE AWARDS
Nyang-Teez members steal an entire nation's attention after both received awards

October 19, 2024 (11:09PM)
The Elle Style Awards ceremony held in Seoul offered awards to two members of the performance powerhouse group ATEEZ, with Best K-Pop Icon being handed to main dancer Choi San and Artist of The Year going to lead vocalist Min Himari. The masters of ceremony praised the bandmates for their numerous achievements in the past year alone, ranging from the unforgettable Coachella performances that carved them in the industry's history to their influential fashion.
The older member is known for incredible duality between his soft everyday demeanor and the demonic stage persona that seemingly takes over his entire body, contrasting with a golden voice that reverberates through one's soul. San's visuals look crafted by the most skilled sculptor and have taken over the internet more than its fair share of times along with a simplistic sense of fashion that somehow seems like high couture on him. The dancer released an unforgettable performance to the song 'Warriors' by Imagine Dragons which showcased his incredible acting talents and bodily control, prior to co-choreographing the group's most recent comeback 'Work'.
He is the very first idol originating from Namhae and was later selected to be its public relations ambassador in 2021, undoubtedly inspiring young people from small towns such as his to pursue their dreams through hard work just as he has. While there had not been an official announcement from the fashion house yet, he made his fashion debut at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show and later went on to attend Fashion Week with them.
The maknae without doubt embodies the word artist itself, having several paintings on permanent display in galleries along with the series Death's Game using her largest artwork in a pivotal episode all the while obtaining the valued title of Ace in reference to her mastery of the industry's every facet. Holding the position of lead vocalist with an angelic voice gifted by the heavens themselves the young woman gives life to their tracks and even simple covers, though she is also able to deliver sharp raps riddled with flow changes. Performance cannot be overlooked as her ease in various dance styles makes every movement of her body impossible to look away from, the powerful stage presence from such a delicate looking idol made her the last 'Demon Line' member, known for hypnotizing the audience akin a siren.
The acting scene saw her impressive debut alongside bandmate Jeong Yunho the previous year in the drama 'Where We Fall', her performance shattering the heart of many while her vocals on the original soundtrack brought tears to viewers' eyes. House Versace also recently released the Ephemeral Collection designed entirely by their global ambassador, and most jewelry pieces along with exhibition dresses were made by her hand after nearly a year of intensive learning.
The painting 'Red Cloud';

At the mere age of twenty two, the vocalist has accumulated over 200 KOMCA credits to her name, surpassing production giants such as 3Racha, Woozi, Zico, and rapidly approaching RM, which makes her the youngest artist in the site's top 10 list. Himari's contributions to the music industry are so significant that four years into her career, in 2022, she became the first fourth generation idol awarded full membership and many prominent artists have already expressed wishes to work with her in the future. Suga was given the title 'Hand of Midas' for exceptional musical skills, which was later passed down to his younger sister as people began noticing their shared lyrical genius and carefully crafted harmonies that intertwined perfectly with each track without ever overshadowing it.
Please congratulate these hard working idols warmly and we hope to see more recognition for ATEEZ in the future as every single member holds unique qualities worth an entire nation's attention, creating what feels like perfect synergy. Remember to cast your votes on the the MNet Plus app for Worldwide KCONers' Choice and Fan's Choice to give the group the appreciation they deserve!

Joseph Coxâs âDark Wireâ

NEXT WEEKEND (June 7â9), I'm in AMHERST, NEW YORK to keynote the 25th Annual Media Ecology Association Convention and accept the Neil Postman Award for Career Achievement in Public Intellectual Activity.
No one was better positioned to tell the tale of the largest sting operation in world history than veteran tech reporter Joseph Cox, and tell it he did, in Dark Wire, released today:
https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/joseph-cox/dark-wire/9781541702691/
Cox â who was one of Motherboard's star cybersecurity reporters before leaving to co-found 404 Media â has spent years on the crimephone beat, tracking vendors who sold modded phones (first Blackberries, then Android phones) to criminal syndicates with the promise that they couldn't be wiretapped by law-enforcement.
It's possible that some of these phones were secure over long timescales, but all the ones we know about are ones that law enforcement eventually caught up with, usually by capturing the company's top founders explicitly stating that the phones were sold to assist in the commission of crimes, and admitting to remote-wiping phones to obstruct law-enforcement options. It's hard to prove intent but it gets a lot easier when the criminal puts that intent into writing (that's true of tech executives, too!):
https://pluralistic.net/2023/09/03/big-tech-cant-stop-telling-on-itself/
But after a particularly spectacular bust landed one of the top crimephone sales reps in the FBI's power, they got a genuinely weird idea: why not start their own crimephone company?
The plan was to build an incredibly secure, best-of-breed crimephone, one with every feature that a criminal would want to truly insulate themselves from law enforcement while still offering everything a criminal could need to plan and execute crimes.
They would tap into the network of crimephone distributors around the world, not telling them who they were truly selling for â nor that every one of these phones had a back-door that allowed law-enforcement to access every single message, photo and file.
This is the beginning of an incredible tale that is really two incredible tales. The first is the story of the FBI and its partners as they scaled up Anom, their best-of-breed crimephone business. This is a (nearly) classic startup tale, full of all-nighters, heroic battles against the odds, and the terror and exhilaration of "hockey-stick" growth.
The difference between this startup and the others we're already familiar with is obvious: the FBI and its global partners are acting under a totally different set of constraints to normal startup founders. For one thing, their true mission and identity must be kept totally secret. For another, they have to navigate the bureaucratic barriers of not one, but many governments and their courts, constitutions and procedures.
Finally, there are the stakes: while the bulk of the crimes that the FBI targets with Anom are just the usual futile war-on-drugs nonsense (albeit at a never-before seen scale), they also routinely encounter murders, kidnappings, tortures, firebombings, and other serious crimes, either in the planning phase, or after they have been committed. They have to make moment-to-moment calls about when and whether to do something about these, as each action taken based on intercepts from Anom threatens to tip the FBI's hand.
That's one of the startup stories in Cox's book. The other one is the crime startup, the one that the hapless criminal syndicates that sign up to distribute Anom devices find themselves in the middle of. They, too, are experiencing hockey-stick growth. They, too, have a fantastically lucrative tiger by the tail. And they, too, have a unique set of challenges that make this startup different from any other.
The obvious difference is that they are involved in global criminal conspiracies. They have to both grow and remain hidden. The tradecraft and skullduggery are fascinating, in the manner of any great crime procedural tale. But there's another constraint: these criminals are competing with one another to corner the market on these incredibly lucrative phones. Being part of violent, global criminal conspiracies, they don't confine themselves to the normal Silicon Valley crimes of violating antitrust law â they are engaged in all-out warfare.
These two startups are, of course, the same startup, but only one side knows it. As Cox weaves these two tales together â along with glimpses into the lives of the hapless gig-work developers in Asia who are developing and maintaining the Anom platform â we get front seat in a series of high-speed, high-stakes near-collisions between these two groups.
And it's not always the cops who have the advantage. When an ambitious mobster figures out how to clone the "black boxes" that initialize new Anom phones, the FBI are caught flatfooted as the number of Anom devices in the hands of criminals balloons, producing a volume of intercepts that vastly exceeds their processing capacity.
Cox has been on this story for a decade, and it shows. He has impeccable sourcing and encyclopedic access to the court records and other public details that allow him to reproduce many of the most dramatic scenes in the Anom caper verbatim. This really shines in the final section of the book, when the FBI and its partners decide to roll up the company with a series of global arrests that culminate in a triumphant press-conference in which the true masters of Anom are revealed.
As a privacy and encryption advocate, there were moments in this story that made me a little uncomfortable. There are places where the FBI is chafing at the constitutional limits on its surveillance powers where we can't help buy sympathize with these "good guys" going after "bad guys." But this the the FBI, a lawless, unaccountable secret police who routinely bypass those limits by secretly buying data from sleazy data-brokers, or illegally sharing data with the NSA.
The conclusion really hammers home the point that the FBI's problem isn't constitutional niceties. Despite seizing hundreds of tons of illegal drugs and arresting thousands of high-ranking criminal syndicate bosses, Anom made no difference in the drug trade. Prohibition, after all, just makes criminals more wealthy and powerful. The Anom raids were, at worst, the cost of doing business â and at best, they were a global reset that cleared the board of established actors so that other criminals could seize their turf.
But even though Anom didn't triumph over crime, Dark Wire is a triumph. The book's out today, and there will shortly be a Netflix adaptation based on it, directed by Jason Bateman:

I feel like not enough people catch that Genesis is implied to have invented the FF7 equivalent to pasteurization.
Banora Whites are super fragile, and before Genesis came along they were only accessible to people who physically visited the town. Genesis figured out how to process them into a juice that could be safely exported globallyâwithout spoiling, without risking food poisoning. The idea that he was just the first person to have thought about making apple juice is ridiculous, given that he won a major award and was literally put in a history book for creating a new form of food processing.
The fact that Banora White juice in Crisis Core only comes in the same sort of can used for something like soup really proves it to me, because that's how most food was stored when pasteurized early on in the adoption process in real life. It's how a lot of pasteurized food is stored now. This is the only way that Banora Whites have ever been successfully exported at scale
FF7 doesn't have pasteurization, it has rhapsodization. Genesis' single greatest and most recognized achievement involves food. Do not try to tell me that he's never set foot in a kitchen.
Genesis literally changed the landscape of food processing as a teenager, specifically so he couldâmaybe, hopefully, somedayâshare a Banora White with Sephiroth.
He loved him to the point of invention.

Steveâs Navy Record - Or, I noticed something interesting

From Pinterest, no credit given. Edit: found source, added link below!
While digging around for photos of the teamâs headquarters, I found a close up somebody had taken of Steveâs display of his Navy medals and ribbons. What I found interesting is that his service is noted from 1993 to 2010. I know he went through BUD/S in 1999, and I guess I just never stopped to consider that entering the Naval Academy is considered part of his career.
Also, for anybody who needs it, here is the list of Steve's medals and awards. I posted it once before when somebody asked, but that was ages ago:
