🍦Why are you so suddenly disconnected from me ?? This is what I heard from Mother gia . Okayy some of you are not appreciating nature enough . Remember material world is temporary and it's full of illusions . It can wrap you in it's illusions . So beware. Don't be so materialistic . Start spending your time with nature . Go for walks or simply let your foot touch some grass . Even stargazing at night will help you more in connecting with your intuition and you'll be soon rewarded with your soul family . I'm hearing this way nature will reveal some clues or solutions to you for your current problems .
🍦Ahh the very next message kinda go alongwith the previous one . Connect with your roots . Inner child healing is needed. Don't completely throw away your inner playfulness. Totally using your recent tiktok for this. Would you say Elijah’s love language is more physical touch or acts of service? I feel like Hayley’s is definitely physical touch, but I see Elijah as more acts of service.
Also could you continue the haylijah in every episode and/or Elijah’s relationships in songs? I enjoyed those, plus it gave me song suggestions.
Thanks for watching my tik tok! If you haven't seen it, this anon is referring to this one.
So I've always loved how affectionate Daniel made Elijah and if you watch anything else that he is in, that is just kind of how Daniel acts. But I do think they ran with it. He always greets Rebekah with a kiss or is holding hands and kissing Hayley's hand.
While I don't fully buy into the love languages because I think everyone shows and gives love in all the ways and even more that aren't listed, I think it's a simple way to express what one may want from a relationship and how one may express their own affection. That being said I do think Elijah and Hayley tend to use physical touch to show their affection the most.
Part of this is because of a headcanon, but I think it's supported by canon. Essentially, I always viewed Elijah as being touch starved. We hear from Esther that their family was broken until Klaus was born, that Klaus brought joy back into their family and made them feel like a family after losing Freya. But Elijah was born during that time. If you've read my prequel to TGW, You're On Your Own, Kid, (which I know I need to update), it starts with Esther going through some heavy emotions at the time Elijah was born, even post-partum depression. Elijah, to me, always seemed neglected by his parents. He was no ones favorite and used essentially as a place holder for parents or even for a child they actually wanted. I always thought this is why he is so attached to Klaus, because it was the first time he felt love.
But back to the ask. Elijah let's himself get close to very few people throughout his long life, so when he does, he is always reaching out for them. To remind himself that they are still there. He uses it to ground himself in that affection. That they love him enough to allow a monster like him to touch him.
I do agree that he also likes to show his love in acts of service, however, to me, it always seemed like he did this more when he was uncertain of the other's love, like he was trying to earn their love because he's always had to earn love through acts of service and sacrificing himself. Like when he killed all of the Strix members for Hayley because he was uncertain that she cared for him after everything. I'm not saying he does so selfishly, but rather he believes he isn't worth anything to his loved ones if he isn't acting in their service.
So both of these love languages to me come form places of insecurity. I think the most important one to him, without his insecurities, is quality time. Hayley and Elijah fall in love while she is trapped in their home. They fall in love from spending time with each other. It's similar with Elijah and Gia. Their affection develops from their mutual interest in music and them working together.
To me, Hayley and Elijah were such a good match because they seem to feed off of each other's love languages. They were always there for each other when they needed comfort. They were there to offer physical comfort as well as just physically being with each other in times of need. They are also incredibly protective people so they are willing to do anything for each other.
We don't see them really give gifts but I think it's just for lack of the show putting any effort on them, because we know Elijah would shower his loved ones in gifts.
It's essentially a mix of all of them and they just instinctively know which one the other person needs which makes them so special.
I will definitely continue the haylijah in every episode series as well as the Elijah's relationships in songs. I welcome any suggestions! In case it isn't obvious, my ADHD hyperfixations make me super unorganized with them but I will continue!
Thanks for the ask! It inspired me to make a gifset of their love languages, coming soon!

Continuing on the tradition of the previous two posts, what do you think are the theater kids and recess class (minus the Austins) worst experiences with Ms. Marinette?
Lotta Jameson:
This girl actually greased the hand rail of the stairs when she saw Lotta talking to Adrien and laughing. After sliding down the rail, Lotta fell face first into the floor and had to get fillings
Keeps promising to fix her goggles, then flakes out at the last second because of more “important matters”
Kendra Anne Gunderson
Didn’t appreciate Kendra’s trademark snarkiness, and started badmouthing her to others
This resulted in Kendra getting kicked out of a club she was a part of due to the badmouthing delving into rumor territory
DJ Detweiler
Marinette exposed several of his harmless pranks, getting him in trouble multiple times with the teachers. He hasn’t forgiven her since
To get back at her for a prank she still holds a grudge against, Marinette laced some cupcakes DJ made for a bake sale with itching powder, getting her in trouble
Austin Spinelli
Once she heard his name was Austin, that was enough for her to start antagonizing Spinelli, and she refused to refer to him by his surname
While Spinelli was in the art classroom working on another chalk piece, the dust kept getting on an outfit she was designing. So, when everyone left, Marinette poured water on the chalkboard, ruining Spinelli’s work
Gia Griswald
Constantly critiques her love of camouflage-print clothing and keeps trying to get her to wear more bright colors
If the girl wants to wear camo, let her wear camo! Shut the fuck up
Victoria LaSalle
Whenever Victoria is unintentionally blocking her way, she just pushes their wheelchair out of the way without even politely asking them to move. (Just don’t touch another person’s wheelchair, alright?)
Acts like this perfect advocate and suggests Victoria should find a wheelchair basketball team to play on rather than DuPont’s, and it pisses Victoria off
Gerard Gunderson
Makes a big deal about his prosthetic leg and keeps trying to get him to model for her inclusive line
His tooth gap often causes him to slightly whistle, and then one day, Marinette got annoyed by it and caused a whole scene, making him embarrassed
Mindy Blumberg
Has implied several times that Mindy should quit singing and join the school wrestling team due to her “physique.” The girl wants to sing! Let her sing!
In reality, Marinette couldn’t stand when Mindy was chosen to sing in accompaniment to Adrien’s piano playing during a school function
Rochelle Weems
When she heard that Rochelle often spills secrets about people, she decides to get revenge and spill some of Rochell’s secrets…
… And that caused Zir to run home crying, and skip school for a week
Mason Ewing
Keeps trying to push him out of his comfort zone despite his obvious discomfort. It’s led to panic attacks on two occasions
Calls her creepy for keeping her classmates’ info logged in a binder. Pot. Meet kettle.

The director Gia posted stories to argue against the Upstead fans after episode 12. Are fans not allowed to criticize anymore?? Now Burzek fans on Twitter are mad too. So if fans are not allowed to complain or say we do not like a story, are we just supposed to sit and smile? It makes no sense.
Ok, this will probably be the most "fandom drama" thing I weigh in on because I actually think there is some important stuff here. And I apologize, it got long. Gia's stories are on Instagram @/giarayne if anyone wants to check them out for themselves.
I'll start by saying I'm not on every social media platform, so obviously I don't see everything. If people are genuinely hurling personal insults, threats, misogynistic rhetoric, or anything else truly targeted, that's not cool. That's also not what I'm talking about in the below sections. And as for the Burzek fans on Twitter... lol. I have to laugh. Maybe they should check some of the stuff they've said about Eid over the years.
Okay! Gia's main claims that I took away were that the creative team was kind (love that!) and that Gwen specifically should be supported as a woman in a male-dominated field. I love that Gia seemingly had a wonderful first experience directing. She has stated that Chad Saxton, Gwen, Tracy, and team were all warm and welcoming, as I have no doubt they were. Gia seems lovely and excited, so this was nice to hear.
The part I take exception to is that Gwen should be safer from reproach or criticism because she is a woman in a job that historically been very male. I think two things can coexist here. Women need to be regarded and respected as showrunners and in the same way as men, and Gwen has not done her job well this season. Her gender has nothing to do with it. At the end of the day, this is a job to Gwen, and we are the intended audience of said job. If people aren't happy with the work produced, they have every right to express that. Just as they should (and have) when they love it. Or are scared by it. Or confused. Or happy, or any other emotion a TV show can bring about. This is a creative field, and negative emotions have to be part of the conversation.
Perhaps we need to separate Gia a bit from the fandom. She isn't an upstead fan hanging with everyone online, she's a director. Naturally, she will be defensive of the work she helped create and the people who were good to her. No harm there. She clearly thinks Gwen has done great work and has a solid hold on the storytelling this season. We are not obligated to agree, and fans have every right to express that respectfully.

CHARACTER HOOKS
Wanderer’s Life for Me: He rarely stays long in one place. While one side-effect of that is that he can incredibly hard to get a hold of when you want to, it does also mean that he covers enough distance on the regular to be found practically anywhere within Eorzea. So, no matter where you’re at, you might just meet him.
Sheer Apathy: Are you in trouble? Don’t expect him to step in. Are you making trouble? He might hang around to observe. How would you react in either role? What manner of trouble was it? Really, you could be torching a village and he still wouldn’t make a move to stop you.
Garlean Antipathy: Forever caught in indecision between staying as far away from Garleans as he possibly can and butchering any Garlean he comes across, Gia’s feelings towards the Empire aren’t exactly warm, to say the least. He wouldn’t wish to admit to his fear, but it tends to be obvious anyway. Expect the unpredictable and oft violent reactions of a cornered animal.
Of the Jungle: Although Golmore Jungle is long behind him, he does at times, perhaps even often, yearn for those simpler days. Are you a fellow Viera, Rava even, that would bring a piece of that old home with you?
Voidbound: Reaper by trade, his soul is tied to the Void through his Avatar. Are you someone who knows of the condition? Share it, even? You’d pique his curiosity instantaneously; he hasn’t met a great many Reapers in his time.
OUT OF CHARACTER
Mun is located in Northern Europe.
Discord is available if we’re planning to rp together.
As a general rule there’s nothing I'm entirely unwilling to write, but let’s discuss everything and make sure we’re on the same page. I’m also cognizant of in-character consequences and might refuse to rp something as a result. However, I am particularly open for dark content with Gia, so if you have any ideas, do share.
Open-ish to ERP with the disclaimer it’s an IC dead-end. I also won’t rp it only for the sake of rping it. Not particularly open to shipping because Gia already has an OTP and I struggle to see him with anyone else.
I mostly write in a single timeline, but I’m not completely opposed to AUs.

Welcome to Nowhere: In Our Midst
It takes you an unfortunate amount of time to find Bianca. And of course, when you do find her, she’s not even inside the school. You find her seated inside an empty living room inside one of the many, tiny pink houses in Dispassion. She’s surrounded by people- one of whom being Felicity. You would question why she’s here- but you don’t want to waste any time. So instead, you explain your predicament, despite the audience.
“Yeah…” Bianca mutters once you finish, looking grave. “That checks out. I’ve known about his ‘consequence’ rooms for a while now, but I don’t know how to get to them. No one really does.”
“Wait,” you say, confused. “Then what was up with that elevator thing earlier? Where were you going?”
“I was going back home,” she says matter-of-factly, as if that makes any sense. “Our house is connected to the building.”
“How?”
“I dunno,” Bianca shrugs. “Doesn’t really matter, does it? As far as I know, the elevators lead to other floors, and other important buildings. There’s a button that’ll take you here, to the school, too.”
“Uhm- Rue, right?” A petite, soft-spoken girl with a rosebush-head steps forward, in front of the much taller Lucas.
“Yup, that’s me,” you say, wringing your hands together anxiously.
“Right, we’ve met before, but I wanted to make sure,” she whispers. “I’m Ava, Lucas’ twin. Anyways- you’re worried about your friend, right?”
“Yes, I want to go rescue them- as soon as possible.”
“Well, maybe we shouldn’t becau-”
“We shouldn’t?” Felicity, who had been holding Ava’s hand up until now, lets go. “Why do you say that?”
“Well if you would let me finish,” Ava scoffs, still managing to sound… gentle, you guess? “We don’t want to start a big conflict with Mr.Rotary right now, especially since-” she stops, looking alarmed. “Since something.”
“What does that mean?” Caitlyn asks, wrinkling her rabbit nose.
“Well, I don’t know,” Ava says in wonder, bringing her hand to her forehead. “I know there was something…”
“The reset,” you say, causing everyone’s heads to turn.
Felicity is glaring at you.
“What do you mean by that?” Lucas asks, crossing his arms.
Felicity answers before you do. “It’s something Mr.Rotary does, to keep us in line.”
“Excuse me?” Bianca says suspiciously. “And how would you know that?”
“Jerrell told me! Look, I can explain, I promise!”
“Then explain.”
“Resets are basically Mr. Rotary using our contracts to make us forget any information that he feels threatened by us knowing. Jerrell doesn’t reset because of his… special relationship with him. Jerrell told me.”
“Hmmmn… Bianca mutters, still looking suspicious. “I suppose that would explain some things…”
“Uhm,” Ollie, the one with the floating blue eye above their neck, steps forward, raising their hand. “No offense, Felicity, but why would Jerrell tell you that?”
She shrugs. “I don’t remember.”
“Felicity…” Ava speaks softly, looking hurt. “Why wouldn’t you tell me this before anyone else?”
“I’m sorry but I-”
“You guys?” You say, growing frustrated. “Can we please focus on rescuing Gia? I don’t want to leave them there…”
“I thought Ava said that was a bad idea?” Felicity says, scratching her head.
“Well,” Ollie says. “Maybe it is- but she doesn’t have to be involved.”
Bianca turns her head to look at them. “Sounds like you might have an inkling of a plan. Please, tell us.”
“Felicity, you probably won’t like this,” they say, nodding at the dog-girl.
“Then I’m not gonna do it, obviously,” she sneers, looking irritated.
“Please just hear me out. Felicity, you’re known to be a bit of a goody-two-shoes, so if you could ‘report’ a few of us to the principal, and tell her that Rue here needs to do their job and… I dunno, punish us or something,”
“Why did you think I would be so against that?”
“Not important,” Ollie says, blinking their eye. “Rue, you should say that for your punishment, you’ll need to take us outside for something, and then we can sneak into the office to find Gia. Since no one expects us to be there- no one will be keeping an eye on us.”
Bianca nods. “Good idea- definitely better than the one I had.”
“What’s your idea?” Jenny- who had been unusually quiet until now, asks.
“I have no ideas- that’s why I said Ollie’s idea was better.”
“Oooooh, got it!” Jenny says, holding out finger guns. “That checks out.”
“I should probably be one of us who ‘gets in trouble’” Bianca says thoughtfully. “That way I can show you where the elevator in my house is, and we won’t have to go through the front door.”
“I’ll go too!” Jenny says, bouncing on her toes.
“Me too,” says Lucas. “This is probably enough people. We’ll be caught easier if there’s too many of us.”
Bianca nods. “Okay, Felicity, you should start walking to the school first so-”
“Wait!” Felicity protests. “I never said I want to do this!”
“Do you want to do this?”
“... Fine.”
After Felicity leaves the house and heads in the direction of the school, your group gives her a bit of a head start. Once she’s out of sight, you, Bianca, Jenny, and Lucas walk through the desert-town until you reach Dispassion High School. Once inside, you leave the three friends, so as to look like you have nothing to do with them. Not long after, the principal comes storming towards you from around the hall’s curve, three bored looking skippers and one smug looking Felicity in tow.
“Rue!” She shouts, wagging her finger at you as soon as she reaches you. “These three were skipping class just on the other side of the hall, and you didn’t even notice!”
“Oh!” You cry out, pretending to take her seriously. “I am so sorry ma’am. I was… taking a smoke break. Here, please allow me to amend my mistake. I will punish them myself.”
“Tch- how unprofessional. I’ll let you off the hook for now- but do better from here on out. It’s not just your ass on the line you know.” She sighs, looking a little defeated. “What did you have in mind to punish these miscreants?”
“I’d like to take them out into the- uhm- desert heat, and uh- make them run laps! And then run all the way back here when I say they’re done!”
“... very well. Felicity?”
“Hmmn?”
“I’d like to have a bit of a word with you.”
“Me, why?”
“I’ll tell you in a moment- what are you four still doing here?” She waves her hand at you, gesturing for you to leave. “Shoo!”
And so begins your (third?) trek through the empty, desert town in these past few… brief chunks of existence? It’s awfully hard to describe just how short or long a period of not-time is when there’s no way to measure these moments. You want to say hours, but you have no real idea of what that means anymore. You would bring it up, but asking questions about time has always proved useless, no matter who you ask. Instead you keep your thoughts to yourself, pondering in silence while the rest of the group talks until you reach the manor.
“Welp, here we are,” Bianca says dryly. “My pa’- the mayor, is probably at his deeply neglected office right now, so we shouldn’t have to worry about sneaking past him.” The screen on her TV head flickers from the image it was displaying before- a grainy video of migrating geese- and changes once again to noise, and her now ever-familiar soft static starts to play.
“This way to the elevator,” she says, swinging open the door and stepping into the mansion.
You, Lucas, and Jenny follow Bianca through the twisted-labyrinth that is her home in complete silence, as if you are afraid of breaking her concentration. It’s a strange thought to have- she lives here, after all. She doesn’t need to focus much to get around her own home… That being said, there is something about this house that makes it particularly stressful to be in.
“Alright, here we are,” Bianca says as you reach the end of a hall which you’ve never been in. Sure enough, there’s a silver elevator, waiting for you.
Lucas is the first to enter. Then Jenny and Bianca. You are the last to enter, still a little lost in thought.
There is only one button in the elevator, so naturally, it’s the one Bianca presses. The elevator goes down, rather than up. You were expecting it to go to the side, since the office building is so far away. But no, it goes straight down. How does that make any sense? Dispassion Offices can’t possibly be under Bianca’s house if it’s above ground. And yet, you just keep going down, and down, and down further still.
Ding.
The door opens, and Mr. Rotary stands on the other side, waiting.
Bianca leaps back, shocked. You freeze. What is he doing here?!
“What? What’s going on?” Jenny asks, trying to peer over your shoulders. She shoves past you, only to freeze in her tracks. “Oh. Fuck.”
“And to think you really thought you could deceive me,” Mr. Rotary scolds, shaking his head. “I really am disappointed, especially with you, R… Ru…” he falters pointing at you.
“It’s Rue-”
“Ah! Yes! Ruby! I am very disappointed in you. What a shame. As for you,” he scowls, looking down at Bianca. “I expect this much from you. I don’t know how many times I’m going to have to teach you this lesson young lady.” He sighs, about to say something more, but is stopped by the ringing of his telephone. “Hello?” He asks, picking it up off his head. “Yes, yes, I’ll be there right away.” He brings the phone away from himself for a moment and scowls at you. “I’ll deal with you all later.” He pushes a button on the elevator, and the doors shut. You start to ascend, back to Bianca’s house, you assume.
The group is silent, but then you start to hear something. A whisper, in the static.
“Rue, don’t react,” it says. “It’s just me, Bianca. No one else can hear me right now.”
You almost nod- but stop yourself at the last moment.“There was no way he could have known about us coming. We were too far out of range for him to pick up on us formulating our plan, and no one else knew about our plan,” she explains. “The only people who knew were me, you, Ollie, Jenny, Lucas, Ollie, Ava, Caitlyn, and Felicity. Ten people- who all agreed to the plan. One of them must have told.” She stops, going silent for a moment. “I fear there may be a traitor in our midst.”

I have permission from @into-the-null-and-void. All characters belong them. Pokemon belongs to Nintendo. Please check out the OCs' owner's stuff after this because they deserve it.
Gia was running around in tall grass, her ears just barely poking out of the top. She heard a portal opening and closing shortly after it opened. As she went to investigate, she heard her name being called by a familiar voice. The Eevee quickly realized who it was and ran over.
"Dad!" She calls out, running into his open arms. As she starts to relax, he picks her up and starts chatting with her.
"Heya kiddo! How have you been?" Immortale asks her. She responds that she's doing good and asks him how he's doing, to which the dragon responds that he's been doing good as well and that he's been keeping himself busy with inventions. He then asks if anyone has been troubling her and she replies with a "not really". He sighs as he sets her down, relieved he doesn't have to beat up anyone. Her dad then explains why else he's there.
"... I'm here to train you!" He told her. She got excited at this and jumps out of his arms. She starts to wonder how her training will go, guessing each way with examples in her head, changing it from bipedal to quad. Immortale continues, saying that it's about time and that he's going to help her with her powers, both ones she knows she has and ones she's unaware of.
They walk out to an empty field and pulls out a portable sheild ring. He then tosses it in the center to create a barrier around them and keep everything safe from what was to come. He then asks her to show him what she's got, "and don't hold back".
She did exactly that. The Eevee hit her dad with a powerful scratch, powerful enough to cut through his hoodie but not his scales. He complimented her strength while giving her a tip, saying that she should try to be "hard to his, and hard to see" followed by him pining her down as an example. He let her free after she told him that she understood.
He then decided to focus on her null energy, something she hadn't used before. He explained that it helps to "focus on something of importance" to her. She thought for a bit and chose to focus the her dad and the time they spend together. Using these memories, she strikes.
It took Immortale by surprise. He hadn't expect this from her, not that he was complaining despite his broken rib. He tells her good job, gives a tip saying that if she focuses more she can deal stronger blows, and sits in the grass to heal himself. She goes over and takes a break with him, and makes sure he isn't too injured. Her dad reassures her that he'll be fine. While he was healing and thinking about how far she's come, Gia starts wondering how much worse it could've been. The only thing that kept her from starting to stress was her dad's presence. They talked for a bit and she explained what made her attack so powerful, which made him feel better about how he is as a parent.
After he healed, they moved on to mental fighting. He gave her three methods to choose from: intimidate, underestimate, or affect their minds. Using this as a chance to practice controlling how much serotonin she releases, she chooses the last one. She gets into a battle stance and starts releasing them in his direction. At first it works, but then she hits what feels like an aura of rage. Immortale encourages his daughter to try harder, and she does. She eventually is able to push past the rage aura and he fully calms down. He asks her to stop, saying she did well, and decides not to do a Quick Attack.
After resting up for a short bit, they move on to physical strength. He grabs some equipment and puts leg straps on her legs, explaining that they'll give her some resistance especially when running and will increase her muscle mass. After putting her's on, he puts on his own and picks a hill off in the distance as the destination and she agrees to it. They start their trek, but not before forgetting to put the shield down.
During their walk, Gia started thinking about what will happen when they get there. "I hope it's some food," she thought, not because she was hungry but because she loves to watch him cook. Her dad breaks her train of thought and asks her how the weights are, to which she says that they're "just the right weight" for her. They eventually get there and, after taking the equipment off and wanting to do zoomies, she asked what he was planning on cooking. She could never choose a favorite meal of his, and she would say that proudly to anyone who asked, so she wasn't fazed when she was told that he was planing on making something with meat while pulling out a piece of pork. Instead, all it did was narrow down what she guessed he was making while she gathered dry bits of grass. While she did that, he got some sticks and waited to start the fire. She eventually came back with the dry bits of grass and gave them to him. He proceeded to use them to help the fire start.
After intently watching him cook, an old habit of her's, and eating with him while spending quality father-daughter time together, they plan on bringing someone in to help her get stronger. As he heads back through another portal, he offers to take her with. Almost immediately, she gets up and is ready to go. They go through and the portal shuts behind them.
Thanks for reading everyone who did. Sorry it's long, I'm not used to writing stuff like this on tumblr. Although if you did enjoy, please check out my Wattpad account. It's under the same username as here so it shouldn't be too hard to find. ^^'

”you’re a very good parent” sick au
Sick verse🥹😔💓
——
“How are you feeling?” Gia asked as they got into bed beside Synthia, brushing some damp blonde hair from his forehead.
Synthia yawned, stretching and resting his head on their shoulder. “I’m okay, just really exhausted.”
Truth be told, they were all really exhausted after spending the day in the sun at the water park for Natalie’s birthday. She was turning 8 and all she wanted was to go to the water park, and they all knew that despite her saying she was fine with just having cake at home, she was dying to go to the new water park that just opened up. They saw it in her eyes when commercials came on the tv. It was Synthia that had suggested they surprise her with it, despite the worried looks from his partners. He’d been lucky to wake up that morning and feel almost normal for a change. That didn’t mean that being out in the sun for that long wasn’t going to make him feel bad, but for his baby girl it was worth it. It was worth the nausea he’d gotten from being overheated just as much as it was worth the migraine. The smile on Natalie’s face was worth everything. If only he had more days where it was possible for him to do things like that with her.
“Just tired?” Kendall questioned, getting into bed on his opposite side, “your nausea and migraine went away?”
Synthia shrugged. “My medicine helped with the nausea some and the hot shower helped my head a bit.”
“You’re sure? You seem a little off.”
He sighed. “I just wish we could have more days like this with her, or I wish I could have more days like this with her. If we didn’t surprise her with the water park she really would have settled for just a piece of cake and a present. If it wasn’t for me maybe-“
“Stop,” Gia hushed, “you’re perfect with her.”
“I wish I was a better parent,” he sighed, “I feel like I’m not.”
“You’re a very good parent,” Kendall reiterated, “just because you’re ill it doesn’t mean you’re not. I hate that you think that.”
Gia nodded in agreement. “Nat adores you, no matter what.”
He shrugged, holding back a yawn. “I guess, I just wish I could do more.”
“I know.” Gia shut off the light and kissed his forehead, “we all do what we can but we love her and she loves us and that’s what’s most important, right Ken?”
Kendall hummed. “That’s right. You’re an amazing parent, no matter what.”

How to Insure Your Diamond Jewelry: A Complete Guide
Introduction
Diamond jewelry is not only a significant financial investment but often holds deep sentimental value as well. Whether it’s a sparkling engagement ring, a timeless necklace, or the best bracelet for women, insuring your diamond jewelry is a crucial step in protecting these precious pieces. In this complete guide, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know about insuring your diamond jewelry, ensuring that your cherished items are safeguarded against loss, theft, or damage.
Why Insure Your Diamond Jewelry?
Protection Against Loss and Theft Diamond jewelry is often worn daily, making it vulnerable to loss or theft. Whether you misplace a bracelet or have a ring stolen, the financial loss can be significant. Insurance provides peace of mind by covering these unfortunate events.
Coverage for Damage Even the best bracelets for women, made with high-quality craftsmanship, can be susceptible to damage. Accidental chips, cracks, or other damages can be costly to repair. Insurance ensures that you’re covered for such incidents, allowing you to repair or replace your jewelry without incurring out-of-pocket expenses.
Preserving Sentimental Value Beyond its monetary value, diamond jewelry often carries emotional significance. While insurance can’t replace the sentimental value of a piece, it can help you recreate or repair an item that holds special memories, preserving its importance in your life.
Steps to Insuring Your Diamond Jewelry
1. Get an Appraisal
Why Appraisal Matters The first step in insuring your diamond jewelry is to have it appraised by a certified professional. An appraisal provides a detailed description of your jewelry, including the type of diamond, the 4 Cs (cut, color, clarity, and carat weight), and the overall value of the piece.
Finding a Qualified Appraiser Look for a qualified gemologist or an appraiser who is accredited by reputable organizations such as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) or the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). A professional appraisal will ensure that you have accurate information for your insurance policy.
2. Choose the Right Insurance Policy
Types of Jewelry Insurance There are different types of jewelry insurance policies available. You can choose to add a rider to your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance policy, which specifically covers your jewelry, or opt for a standalone jewelry insurance policy. The best choice depends on your individual needs and the value of your collection.
What to Look For When selecting an insurance policy, consider factors such as coverage limits, deductibles, and the types of incidents covered (e.g., loss, theft, accidental damage). Some policies may also cover mysterious disappearances, which can be important for items like bracelets that can easily slip off.
3. Understand Your Coverage
What’s Included It’s important to fully understand what your insurance policy covers. Does it include replacement costs? Are there any exclusions, such as coverage for certain types of damage or loss in specific locations? Knowing the details will help you avoid surprises if you ever need to file a claim.
Replacement vs. Cash Value Some policies offer replacement coverage, which pays for the replacement of the item with one of similar quality and value. Others may provide cash value, which gives you the current market value of the item. Understanding the difference will help you choose the right policy for your needs.
4. Keep Your Documentation Safe
Storing Important Documents Keep all documentation related to your diamond jewelry and insurance policy in a safe place. This includes the original purchase receipts, appraisal certificates, and the insurance policy itself. Having these documents readily available will streamline the claims process if needed.
Regularly Update Your Appraisal As the value of diamonds can fluctuate, it’s a good idea to have your jewelry appraised every few years and update your insurance policy accordingly. This ensures that you’re fully covered in case of a claim.
Tips for Insuring the Best Bracelets for Women
Consider the Bracelet’s Design When insuring the best bracelets for women, consider the specific design and any unique features that may require special coverage. For example, bracelets with intricate designs or rare gemstones may need additional coverage beyond standard policies.
Wear and Tear Coverage Bracelets are often subject to wear and tear due to their location on the wrist. Ensure that your policy covers repairs for everyday wear, especially if your bracelet includes delicate settings or a clasp that might require maintenance.
Conclusion
Insuring your diamond jewelry, whether it’s a cherished engagement ring or the best bracelet for women, is a vital step in protecting your investment and preserving its value. By following the steps outlined in this guide, you can ensure that your precious pieces are covered against loss, theft, and damage, giving you peace of mind and allowing you to enjoy your jewelry with confidence.

Leave the hurt behind Tearing the threads of the tethers Leave the hurt behind We can choose to be better
Suddenly feelzing, ‘cause– Okay actually let me just. Ramble a bit about Gia’s Wood-Warder master, Kida.
(The similarity-ish between their names is no coincidence. Gia chose his name as a nod to Kida on top of just having no creativity at the time of renaming himself, so he basically combined his Garlean name with Kida’s + left one letter out. It’s fine, he’s gotten more creative since then.)
Anyway. Gia was given to the first male that visited the village after he got old enough, which happened to be Kida, the single oldest male from the village. His amount of life experience was out of this world and he’d already raised several jacks, so Gia was in good hands. Gia learned under him for less than two years before shit went down, but they had the time to grow very close in that time.
Gia holds very little resemblance to Kida, in personality and conduct (and appearance, but that’s no surprise, Kida wasn’t the male that sired him). Kida was absolutely ruthless when it came to doing his role as a Wood-Warder and drilled that same sense of unyielding importance and duty into Gia from day 1, but while he was very demanding and always asked for Gia’s best and nothing less would do, he was also a very fair, not to mention a warm-hearted individual. He was aloof on the surface and not very prone to displaying his emotions, but he wasn’t tough love and you didn’t need to spend long around him to see how gentle some of his sentiments were. He treated Gia with love and always left him feeling supported.
But he was also very steady. His emotions didn’t direct his actions even if he easily chose to act in accordance with his emotions, and every step of the way he advocated for mastery over your emotions instead of being a slave to their whimsies. With how much he’d seen over the course of his life, he’d had plenty of reasons to have his own emotions swung this way or that, sometimes very drastically. Joys and sorrows both, but he always encouraged for accepting the negative’s existence without letting it consume you, and to keep your focus on the positive instead.
Don’t let your emotions control you or your actions. Don’t take them into a choke hold; let them be what they are, but leave them at their place. Keep a clear head.
They were lessons Gia was given but that he never had the time to fully integrate to whatever extent he ever would have. They feel so impossibly far away to him now, but sometimes, in moments of weakness, he does think back and he does wonder what Kida would say if he saw the man Gia grew up to be, how he’s nearly the polar opposite of everything Kida stood for and tried to teach him.
And he wonders what Kida would tell him, how he might remind him about not being led by his emotions—to act with his head. Think, choose the outcome you want, then plot the most efficient course from A to B. Cut through everything in your path if that’s what it takes, but not just because it’s what your heart tells you.
It hurts him how he’s nothing like what Kida tried to raise him to be, but he doesn’t like thinking about his old life long enough to reflect on himself or his own actions using that mirror, robbing him of the opportunity of personal growth from that source. For the time being, at least. Maybe he’ll eventually be able to think back without being crushed by the memories, and maybe at that point he’ll try to raise himself to be more like the man Kida would have wanted him to be.
With Kida’s age, Gia has no reason to think old age wouldn’t have claimed him by now, in a roundabout fashion if not directly—and indeed, Kida is dead, not that Gia will ever find out for certain.

Welcome to Nowhere: Plan
“No!” Aderyn hisses. “There’s no way that will work!”
The group groans collectively. This is the fourth plan you’ve gone over together- and yet there’s somehow something wrong with this one too.
“Why? There’s literally nothing wrong with it, ” Jenny pouts. “This one is foolproof!”
“No, it’s not,” Aderyn explains, shaking her head back and forth. “You said that we could call Mr.Rotary, pretending to be Jerrell, right? There’s a couple of problems with that- number one being you two,” she nods towards Bianca and Jenny, “- are the only ones who have ever met Jerrell, and none of us know what he sounds like. That’s also assuming that you guys could pull off an accurate impression of him. Second of all, that doesn’t account for Mayor Miller at all.”
“Well, he’s not too important, is he?”
“Didn’t you guys say earlier that he also is really determined to not let anyone into Mr. Rotary’s office?” You ask.
“Well- yeah,” Jenny falters, “buuuuut… what if we find a way to put the call on speaker- somehow, while he and Mr.Rotary are in the same room? With whatever we say and whatever Mr.Rotary says back is bound to make him upset! I mean- c’mon, we all know those two have a…thing.”
Bianca shakes her head. “Pa’s not dumb- he already knows. He just… isn’t angry about it enough to do anything.” She tilts her head down towards the floor, looking glum.
Jenny shoots her a sympathetic look before pulling her into a hug.
“Yeah,” she sighs, “I guess it wasn’t the best idea after all.”
“Hmmn,” Emerson muses. “What if we just… locked them both in a closet or something? We could lead them toward us and just… shove 'em in, lock the door, and then wander around freely- if you think that will work, of course.”
“That’s an… uncharacteristically violent thing for you to suggest, Emerson.” Gia says, shooting him a look that seems to whisper, “you okay there, buddy?”
“Pfft- common, that’s not that violent.”
“Yeah, maybe not in general,” you say, giving them the same glance. “But for you it’s pretty weird. You’re awfully squeamish, y’know.”
“I am not squeamish,” they mutter. “You guys are just kind of barbaric.”
“Hey,” Gia says, holding up their hand near Emerson’s face. “Me being barbaric saved your life- and many other lives, as a matter of fact. Slaying monsters is an act of heroism.” They tilt their planet-head up, looking proud. “Violent heroism! The best kind!”
“Guys, we’re getting off topic,” Bianca says, waving her hand dismissively in Gia’s direction- causing them to slink back against the wall, vexed.
“Hay, guys,” Jenny says, sitting up. “I think I might have some semblance of a plan.”
“Oh?” Gia says, perking back up. “Do tell.”
“Well, here’s the thing,” Jenny goes on. “Bianca’s family should be calling us all down for dinner soon- and that’s when a couple of us could make a distraction- keeping Bianca’s dads distracted in the kitchen while the rest of us sneak off to break into Mr.Rotary’s office.” She explains, letting go of Bianca. “Bianca, it would be best if you’re one of the people staying in the kitchen to cause a distraction, that way you can keep Mr.Rotary from hearing us by playing your static.”
“That…” Bianca pauses, thinking for a moment. “Could potentially work, I guess?”
“Great!” Aderyn cheers, clapping her hands together. “What’s the distraction?”
Jenny shrugs. “I dunno.”
…
“What? I told you I had ‘some semblance’ of a plan- not a full plan!” She said indignantly, crossing her arms as everyone in the room watched her with frustrated stares. “Jeez Louise…”
“ I might have an idea for a good distraction.” Bianca says, standing up. “If we were to use it though- I’d need some assistance and someone with acting skills.”
“Just tell us what it is…” Gia says, looking awfully tired.
“Okay, soooo, my dad basically has a ‘no dating’ rule… he thinks that one: Dating is a reason I keep failing, and two: that I’m a total slut. Now, I don’t have much of a problem with that- but he does. So basically, if I was to make an announcement that I’ve ‘found the love of my life’ and that ‘I plan to run off with them and never work again’ that’s bound to piss him off beyond reason. Oooh! It’d work even better if the person pretends to be a suuuuper bad influence,” she says, almost excitedly. “Me and whoever pretends to be my partner would stay in the kitchen while my dad is too busy being pissed off, and my pa’ is too busy trying to calm him down- that way the rest of you can sneak off and break into the office!”
It’s silent for a moment while everyone in the room scrutinizes Jenny and Bianca’s plan, looking for some kind of devastating flaw.
“That sounds like it could work.” Gia says at last, and the room nods their head and mumbles in agreement.
“Perfect!” Bianca whoops, doing a little twirl. “So, who here can put on a good show?”
“I mean, I think I could-” Aderyn starts to say before Bianca interrupts her. “Emerson, what about you?”
“M-me?” Emerson looks up, surprised. “I mean, I don’t know about my acting skills-”
“Oh, I bet you’ll do wonderfully.” Bianca says with what you think is supposed to be whatever a flirtatious wink looks like on a TV screen. “So,” she says in a teasing tone. “What do you say? Wanna be my ‘boyfriend’ for the night?”

What should I consider when choosing a blue sapphire diamond ring for an engagement? Any tips on quality, settings, and reputable jewelers?
When choosing a blue sapphire diamond ring for an engagement, there are several important factors to consider to ensure you select a high-quality piece that fits your style and budget. Here are some tips on quality, settings, and reputable jewelers:
Quality
Color: The color of the sapphire is the most crucial aspect. Look for a deep, vivid blue hue. Avoid stones that are too dark or too light, as they might not have the desired brilliance.
Clarity: Sapphires often have inclusions, but they should not be visible to the naked eye. A sapphire with fewer inclusions will generally be more valuable.
Cut: The cut of the sapphire affects its brilliance and sparkle. A well-cut sapphire will reflect light beautifully, enhancing its natural color and shine.
Carat: Consider the size of the sapphire. Larger stones are more expensive, but they should still meet the criteria for color, clarity, and cut.
Settings
Metal Choice: Sapphires pair beautifully with both white and yellow gold, as well as platinum. Consider the metal that best complements the sapphire and matches your personal style.

Exploring the Spectrum: Understanding Diamond Color Grading
Diamond color holds significant importance in determining a diamond's overall quality and value. A crucial factor, along with cut, clarity, and carat weight, influences how a diamond is perceived and valued in the market. The presence or absence of color within a diamond affects its visual appeal, rarity, and purity. Recognizing the significance of diamond color is essential for consumers and industry professionals, as it directly impacts these precious gemstones' desirability, pricing, and investment potential.
What Is The Diamond Colour & Its Importance?
Diamond color refers to the presence or absence of color in a diamond. It is one of the 4Cs used to evaluate and grade diamonds, alongside cut, clarity, and carat weight. The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) grades diamond color on a scale from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown).
Here's a breakdown of diamond color and its importance:
Color Grading: Diamonds are graded on a scale from D to Z, with D completely colorless and Z having a noticeable yellow or brown tint. This grading is conducted under controlled lighting conditions by comparing the diamond to a set of standardized master stones.
Aesthetic Appeal: Apart from color grading, the absence of color in a diamond allows more light to pass through, enhancing its brilliance and fire. Colorless or near-colorless diamonds are generally more desirable and fetch higher prices due to their visual appeal.
Value Determination: Diamond color significantly affects its value. Colorless diamonds (grades D-F) are rarer and thus command higher prices. As the color grade decreases (moving towards Z), the value of the diamond decreases as well.
Personal Preference: Some may prefer diamonds with a hint of color for a warmer, more vintage aesthetic. However, personal preference varies, and ultimately, the choice of diamond color depends on the buyer's taste and budget.
Quality Perception: Diamond color is often associated with diamond quality and purity. Colorless diamonds are perceived as pure and of higher quality, making them popular for engagement rings and other high-end jewelry pieces.
Matching with Metal: The diamond color should also complement the metal of the setting. For example, colorless diamonds pair well with white gold or platinum settings, while warmer-toned diamonds may complement yellow or rose gold settings.
Investment Value: Colorless diamonds retain their value better over time than those with noticeable color. Therefore, colorless or near-colorless stones may be preferable for those considering diamonds as investments.
What is the Diamond Color scale?
The diamond color scale is a standardized system used to grade and categorize the color of diamonds. It was established by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and ranges from D to Z, with D representing colorless diamonds and Z indicating diamonds with noticeable yellow or brown tint. The diamond color scale works as a diamond color guide and helps users to make a correct choice.
Here's a brief overview of the color scale diamond:
D-F (Colorless): Diamonds in this range are considered colorless, displaying little to no detectable color. They are exceptionally rare and highly valued for their purity and brilliance.
G-J (Near Colorless): Diamonds in this range have slightly detectable color, but it is typically not noticeable to the untrained eye. They offer excellent value for those seeking high-quality diamonds without the premium associated with colorless stones.
K-M (Faint Yellow): Diamonds in this range may exhibit a faint yellow tint when viewed under controlled lighting conditions. While the color is more noticeable than in higher grades, these diamonds can still be attractive options, especially for those on a budget.
N-R (Very Light Yellow): Diamonds in this range have a noticeable yellow or brown tint, even to the naked eye. They are considered lower quality and may not be as desirable for jewelry settings where color is a significant factor.
S-Z (Light Yellow to Light Brown): Diamonds in this range have a pronounced yellow or brown coloration, detracting from their visual appeal and value. They are typically the least desirable and least expensive diamonds on the color scale.
What is the Gia Diamond Color Chart?
The GIA Diamond Color Chart is a visual representation of the diamond color scale established by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). It helps jewelers, gemologists, and consumers to easily understand and reference the different color grades of diamonds.
How To Choose The Right Diamond?
Choosing the right diamond involves considering several factors to ensure you select a stone that meets your preferences and budget. Here's a guide to help you make an informed decision:
Establish a Budget: Before diving into the world of diamond shopping, set a clear budget to guide your selection process. Knowing your spending limit will help you narrow down your options and focus on diamonds that fit within your financial means.
Learn About the 4Cs: Apart from this, you should also Familiarize yourself with the 4Cs - Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat Weight - as they play crucial roles in determining a diamond's quality and value. Understanding these factors will empower you to make informed decisions when comparing different diamonds.
Prioritize Your Preferences: You can consider which aspects of the 4Cs matter most to you. Whether it's the brilliance of the cut, the color purity, the absence of imperfections, or the size of the diamond, identifying your priorities will guide your selection process.
Choose a Diamond Shape: Explore various diamond shapes, such as round, princess, cushion, emerald, or oval, and decide which appeals to your aesthetic preferences. The shape of the diamond will greatly influence its overall appearance and style.
Opt for Superior Cut Quality: Recognize that the cut of a diamond is paramount to its brilliance and sparkle. Look for diamonds with excellent or very good cut grades to ensure optimal light reflection and maximum beauty.
Assess Color and Clarity: Similar to quality, the color and clarity grades of diamonds, considering how these factors impact the stone's overall appearance. Choose grades that align with your desired level of colorlessness and clarity while staying within your budget constraints.
Insist on Diamond Certification: Prioritize diamonds that come with reputable gemological certifications, such as those from GIA or AGS. Certification ensures the authenticity and quality of the diamond, providing you with peace of mind in your purchase.
Trust Your Instincts: Ultimately, trust your instincts and choose the diamond that resonates with you on a personal level. Opt for the stone that captures your heart and reflects your unique style and preferences.

A natural pearl, also known as a “moti” in some languages, is a rare and valuable gemstone that forms inside the soft tissue of a living mollusk, such as an oyster or clam. It is created when a foreign object, such as a piece of sand or a parasite, enters the mollusk’s body and irritates its soft tissue. In response, the mollusk secretes a substance called nacre around the irritant, layer by layer, until a pearl is formed.
Natural pearls have been highly prized throughout history for their beauty and rarity. However, due to overfishing and pollution, natural pearls have become increasingly rare and expensive. Most pearls available in the market today are cultured pearls, which are created by intentionally introducing an irritant into a mollusk and then cultivating the pearl over time.
