Astrology notes

- gemini / mercury / uranus / aqua change their identity a lot online. They place a lot of importance on their online identity and as they change so does their online personas.

- Mercury dominance if well placed Learnt to talk very early and saturn mercury aspects learnt to speak a bit late or may speak with a bit of hesitation.

- chiron in 1st have deep rooted identity issues and may also not be able to relax in photos and stuff. Some may even go to the extent of not wanting to take pictures at all.

- count yourself lucky if : air signs ask for your advice.. They don't ask option from everyone. Similarly if fire signs seek you out or show you their defeated side and depressed side. Summary: just a bunch of random thoughts about ProHero Touya. I think about him a lot 😭 what could have been.

I saw someone say his hero name would be “Regulus” aka ”the Blue Star hero” because it’s a bright af star, its blue, and the name means “prince” (yk cos he was meant to surpass Endeavor and all might, prince is awfully fitting) and his character is like a dying star and I adore that for him sooo✌️😁

Disclaimer: my opinion

I’ve noticed many Sag risings can struggle with identity issues

Geminis are some of the most family oriented people I’ve met. They may not seem or appear that way but I think it’s obvious if you get to know them.

Venus 12th house individuals are lowkey like dictators in their shadow side. Like telling their partner what to do and giving orders… 😅

Virgo risings have a “natural��� model kind of look

Virgo moons try to find solutions when it’s uncalled for or just give unsolicited advice. It’s from a good place and it’s naturally how they are.. to try and put things in order but deffo set boundaries if it makes you uncomfortable.

I’ve also noticed virgo moons tend to be “fixers” in a relationship. But tbh this just goes for heavy virgo placements in general. They look for things to perfect because some of them think their ideal doesn’t exist, so they prefer to “create” it.

Many women with Leo placements can come across as “naive” or the type to be easily taken advantage of, they shine bright but I’ve seen many women with Leo placements in their big 3 get taken advantage of or used.

every  time  i  try  to  dive  into  vedic  astrology,  everything  i  read  online  just  feels  super  negative.  it’s  like  my  whole  life  is  doomed  or  something,  and  i  don’t  really  get  why?  is  that  normal?  i  hardly  ever  see  anything  positive  about  my  placements.  it’s  always  focused  on  the  negative stuff.  maybe  i’m  just  more  used  to  tropical  astrology,  which  also  has  its  challenges,  but  it  still  feels  more  balanced.

i’d  really  love  some  friendly  advice  or  recommendations  on  where  to  start  and  how  to  explore  vedic  astrology  in  a  way  that  doesn’t  feel  so  overwhelming  or  harsh.  lmk  if  you  have  any  tips!

O...only one? I like a lot of video games...but honestly I can't get over how fucking funny the Monster Hunter series is. Like yeah, random person, go fight some fucking monsters. Take up to two cats with you. Here's a giant sword or a gun. Godspeed.

As for show and movie, uh...I don't...watch a lot of things, admittedly. I prefer to just turn on YouTube videos in the background instead of a show or movie. But if I had to pick, I'd pick Robin Hood: Men in Tights for movie and Legends of Chima for show. If you've seen the fights I've been picking on my main blog, I hope they've been entertaining.

When did you get into The Elder Scrolls? What about Magic the Gathering?

I started playing Oblivion on my biological father's PS3 before Skyrim came out when I was a youngin (I'm gonna say around the age of 9?) and just kind of. Kept with it.

Meanwhile, I finally got into MTG in 2016, when the Shadows Over Innistrad and Eldritch Moon sets came out. My first ever deck was the Blue-Red precon, Dangerous Knowledge. And I hated it. This was before I figured out how to make Blue work for me. The first deck I ever built was a Red-Green Wolf and Werewolf deck, and I still have it to this day - it's my most powerful deck besides maybe my monoBlack Rat deck.

How often do you typically practice magic?

It depends. When I'm in my fallow period, it's literally nothing. Once I'm out, it could be anywhere between "for my entire waking day" to "like, five minutes" to "I have not done anything magical in two weeks". I am inconsistent as fuuuuuck!

I am biased on account of being a pop culture practitioner, but the "is pop culture magic/paganism valid or not" question that keeps rolling back around every now and again is stupid. We're all magical practitioners and/or religious folks. We are at equal levels of verification, which is "basically none to someone skeptical enough".

There are actual, genuinely good concerns that can be talked about in pop culture magic/paganism, but everyone keeps focusing on "it's faker than our shit lmaooo" instead of discussing things like copyright or capitalism. And even when people bring that up, it's almost always as an addendum to people saying that our shit isn't valid because it comes from a piece of media instead of cultural stories or history. It's like "damn, you're already biased, so I'm not going to listen to your points because you stink", you know?

Can you PLEASE help try and understand why I find it so hard to tell if my collegue likes me? I’m an Aries and I was once in love with a Scorpio. We slept around a bunch, but he never relationshipped me, which is what I wanted!

In the end, it was very traumatic.

In synastry, Aries make a Quincunx aspect with Scorpio. It’s when 2 planets are 150degrees apart.

I do think Quincunx is a very hot 🥵 aspect, but it seems like the signs can barely understand each other.

The only advice I can give you is to tell you about the mistakes I made in my situationship with a Scorpio, since I have never successfully dated one:

1. Don’t insult them. Aries can get this way sometimes. We are hot headed and impatient and we want what we want. And sometimes we do it just to flirt or seem funny. Insults roll off us, so why not them? It will not roll off them. They will hold onto it for eternity. That’s the Pluto in them.

2. Don’t sleep with them. Scorpios are s3xy individuals and they know this. But s3x isn’t what they’re after — they’re looking for a deeper connection. They want soul mate energy. S3x is nothing to them compared to MAKING LOVE! They want to bare their all to someone. They want to feel HELD and CHERISHED. They understand the difference of “just s3x” and they think it’s cheap, even though they indulge in it constantly (double standards). They want to be with someone that they can see themselves starting a family with, so they’re not looking for a loose woman. They test people.

3. Above all else: Be their friend first. You can’t force someone to love you, tragically. But you do have the control to be someone’s friend. Scorpios are terribly misunderstood and more than anything they want that friend they can talk to anything about. Be patient. Give them their space. Go on a nature walk with them. (Pretty sure they enjoy quiet areas with nature). Invite them to hang out and do peaceful things together (since they’re a water sign, they are very sensitive to energies and can’t be around too many ppl for too long). They like to pretend they’re tough, but they’re soft. Way more soft than an Aries can even admit to be.

4. Be vulnerable with them. This is a very challenging thing for an Aries to do — being vulnerable. We spend our whole lives pretending we are TOUGH AS NAILS AND NO ONE CAN HURT US. But we are the babies of the zodiac (the first sign) and we aren’t as tough as we like to think we are. If you have known this guy a long time and are dying to tell him how you feel — just do it! But be completely honest. No jokes to lighten the mood. No insults to seem more macho. Just be vulnerable. Put yourself out there, even if he might break and shatter your heart. Do it anyway. This is the only way to a Scorpios heart. They need to know if you’re just as soft as they are. That makes them feel safe.

Hi, so I’m like desperately eager to get into astrology, but I don’t really know where to start. Do you have any tips or advice for beginners?

As much as reading stuff online can be helpful, I would actually start with books. Having the written knowledge around for reference is nice to have. Plus you know the source, were on the web, sometimes you get bias answers or descriptions. I would go to your local book store or library to get a start.

A couple of books I would recommend offhand are the following:

hello!! what are some sources you recommend for learning about astrology? your post about the july new moon resonated with me in a way that made me want to learn more, i've always been sceptical but at the same time want it to be true

Ues hello ^//^ its good to be skeptical especially about the things you consume online but i appreciate the open mindedness too ! My only pretense of getting into astrology is that makes me hesitant to direct people towards it is that 1) Astrology is founded in the universal law of Free Will and 2) Astrology should not be used to make judgements on other people. Due to "Pop Astrology" hitting the mainstream like a ton of bricks, there is a lot of misinformation out there / advice that is laced with malintent. Use it only to elevate your own self understanding but also know that any conclusion astrology helps you come to can also be acheived without astrology, astrology is just a tool that can help accelerate some of these self-realizations.

Like i dont even talk about my own chart anymore nor do i gaf about anyone elses signs LOL. if ppl want me to help them read their chart then i will but ultimately it tells ME nothing about them.

I would recommend first reading books by Jung as he is very scientific and meticulous in his work, and highly respected as such, the only present day astrologers im into are jungian astrologers. After that i would suggest books on Edgar Cayce who is a prolific psychic from the early 20th century who had 0 belief in astrology until his "awakening". His story is super interesting and his work has helped me a lot in my own journey into myself especially concerning dreams. Like the book "Edgar Cayce On Dreams" genuinely changed my life im not exaggerating. Jung and Cayce both bring a different perspective to it that create a well-rounded foundation imo

All in all just dont try getting into anything online until you have sufficient structure built in the basics lest ye be lost in the sea of delulu influencers preying on u with clickbait trying to make a quick buck off your insecurities~~~ Stay skeptical and critical but curious 🙏 and do it for You !
