🇩🇪 Germany - Memmingen [25-1-2024]
Farmers Protest with a LOT of support. It's happening all over Europe now. The people reject Agenda 2030!
I have a German friend I made contact with and we talk about what's going on in our countries and reinforce each other with strength, courage and hope.
Well he messaged me this 👆 the other day...
The demonstration of farmers is going on. I hope it will cause a change and I hope that white hats start prosecuting German politicians for crimes against humanity with a final rope.
Public transportation strike since last Wednesday until Monday and the union I am a member of, is already asking if we are willing to stop working if there is no consent between the company and the union.
Of course, we are ready, he says. ⚔️🛡️
Germany is now in an uprising just like a lot of other European countries to save humanity. They are sick and tired of the bullshit. This type of activity will consume every country on earth! The people WILL unite. We WILL win. 🤔
I don't see him on a lot but you can follow him here 👇

It’s proven that the receptors for taste develop with age which is the reason children often refuse food they perceive as bitter. Adults, who have lost a lot of their sensibility to bitter taste, may react less understanding.
Now, I’m wondering if reading the newspaper has always been so funny and I just wasn’t able to perceive it.

News from the Twilight Zone: Asking why Israel bombing hospitals in Gaza is ok and not, you know, evil, even if there was Hamas in the basement, is apparently relativization.
Tagesschau (German public broadcasting) shared an article about how only half of Gaza's hospitals remain functional.
I answerd that if could have something to do with Israel bombing them, to which a stranger replied that Hamas is hiding there and using human shields.
To which I asked how, even if that were true, bombing hospitals would not still be bad actually. Why it is ok in Gaza.
To which he said I'm relativizing. I'm not even sure what exactly.

German Green Party MP Roth urges regulation of X to “protect democracy”
Green Party MP and German Minister of State for Culture Claudia Roth has said that X needs to be “regulated” to protect democracy, Brussels Signal reports.
Speaking to Table.Media on January 2, Roth said that quality journalism needs better protection and that more regulation is needed to control X.
She noted that her party had pushed for a number of related laws such as the Audiovisual Media Services Directive, the European Media Freedom Act and the Digital Services Act, emphasising that the latter makes the EC the regulator. Roth said:
“The Commission must now assume this new responsibility with the national regulators. We need strong European media laws that ensure the functioning of a democratic public sphere. Especially because the so-called platforms are not platforms for other people’s opinions alone, but massively spread their own opinions.”
Her party’s leader Franziska Brantner demanded that the European Commission investigate the platform’s activities for possible manipulation of public opinion on X.
In an interview with the Tagesspiegel newspaper, she asked whether X owner Elon Musk had customised the platform’s algorithms “so that his posts, for example, appear always and everywhere.” She said she wanted the EC to investigate that possibility. Brantner stressed:
“Even the richest man in the world must abide by our law. With the Digital Services Act, we have the opportunity to tackle this at the European level.”
German politicians were concerned about the recent spat between German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Musk after Steinmeier officially dissolved the country’s parliament ahead of a snap election in February.
Steinmeier complained that he believed Musk and X had influenced the election campaign, calling it foreign interference and a “threat to democracy.”
US multi-billionaire Musk, who publicly backed the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in an op-ed in Die Welt newspaper, responded and said:
“Steinmeier is an anti-democratic tyrant! Shame on him.”
Regarding the altercation, Roth said:
“The Federal President represents our country. Anyone who denigrates him denigrates Germany. Maybe someone should tell Mr Musk: Wanting to make money here on the one hand and showing no respect for the country and its representatives on the other hand doesn’t go together. When great economic power and power of opinion are combined, it is not good for a democracy.”
She also added:
“That’s why journalists are specifically protected in our media regulations. Journalism is different from using a combination of great economic power and communication power to undermine and undermine democracies. This is extremely dangerous for democratic forms of society.”

This is German news.

"In Jabalia, Israeli forces say 50 terrorists were killed. There are also civilian casualties."-FAZ.NET
WHY does the Western world focus on "terrorists" ?
How can anyone focus on terrorists in this unconscionable disaster that happened in Jabalia? An entire neighborhood was destroyed, everything and everyone turned into a speck of dust. Hundreds of innocent people, young or old, disabled or healthy are dead. The number of these innocent dead people should not be labeled as " there were dead civilians too"! There were ONLY dead civilians and the world is focused on possible killed terrorists?
The news in Germany are shameful, thats a scandal!
Why don't you report the numbers of dead Palestinians, the frightening number of injured people? Publish pictures.
Show the truth!

[ 📹 German-made Leopard II tanks wait to be rescued after enduring the ravages of the war in Ukraine. Germany previously provided Ukraine with 18 Leopard II tanks in January last year, and has now signed a bilateral agreement agreeing to provide weapons to Ukraine for the next 10 years.]

GERMANY SIGNS BILATERAL AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE SECURITY GUARANTEES FOR UKRAINE
Ukrainian media is reporting the signing of a bilateral agreement with Germany providing the embattled eastern European country with security guarantees during a visit to Berlin this week by the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky.
The new agreement codifies a previous joint declaration by the G7 Western countries on July 12th, 2023 and comes on the heels of another security agreement signed with the United Kingdom.
In a statement issued by the Deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Ihor Zhovkva, and reported in Ukrainian Pravda, Zhovkva said, "Ukrainian and German leaders have signed an unprecedented agreement on security cooperation and long-term support in Berlin. This is the second agreement, following the agreement with the United Kingdom, that we have signed in accordance with the G7 Joint Declaration of 12 July 2023."
The new agreement provides a 10-years-long period of security guarantees to provide Ukraine with weapons and other military aid in its war with the Russian Federation.
According to the terms of the new agreement, Germany is to provide Ukraine with a record €7.1 billion in "financial and military assistance for 2024."
Germany will also support Ukraine's "reform efforts" in light of "its ambitions to join the EU and NATO." The agreement will not impede Ukraine's path to NATO membership and will maintain long-term military support from the German government.
The agreement also covers the "work envisaged to ensure sustainable forces capable of defending Ukraine now and deterring aggression in the future" with Germany continuing to provide Ukraine with modern military equipment and other security assistance.
It will also include non-military cooperation including financial, economic and technical support, as well as support for energy and critical infrastructure, information security and to "combat organized crime" in Ukraine, with a focus on the defense industry and to build for Ukraine a "high-tech military industrial complex."
The new agreement also calls for increased cooperation on "compensation for losses" incurred by Armed Forces of Ukraine in its war with Russia, as well as "bringing Russia to justice for the crime of aggression" against Ukraine through the " establishment of an appropriate tribunal."
The new security agreement is valid for a period of no less than 10-years from the time of signing and "Germany will continue to support Ukraine during its term."

Among the proposed measures are several that are quite absurd, including, for example, cutting public funding to cultural institutions that question Israel’s right to exist or that collaborate with institutions or individuals that reject Israel’s right to exist – which would effectively mean any institutions in countries of the Muslim world that don’t recognize Israel. It would mean that Germany can continue to buy gas from Qatar or sell weapons to Saudi Arabia, but that cultural exchange would be prohibited.
The resolution calls upon states to enforce various sanctions, from deportations to denying the right to family reunification, reducing social benefits and denying work permits to residents of Germany who ‘support terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Samidoun, or incite hatred against Jews’.
The issue is: how is ‘support’ defined? From what we have seen the past few weeks, concern for the fate of Palestinian civilians is broadly defined as support for Hamas.
Most tellingly, the bill entails only a single passing mention of the threat posed by right-wing extremist groups and political parties to Jewish life, despite the fact that 84 per cent of antisemitic crimes in Germany come from the far-right, and that a deadly attack on a synagogue in Halle in 2019 was committed by a neo-Nazi. This is a cynical omission considering that the occasion for the bill – the 9th of November – commemorates pogroms committed by the Nazis.
It’s as if non-Jewish Germans themselves are traumatized. Through a sort of twisted inheritance of their own history as persecutors, they can participate in contemporary Jewish suffering. That is how I have read the prevailing response.
