#4~ Productos recomendados de skincare.

Hoy os traigo una serie de productos de skincare que a mi personalmente me han funcionado genial.

Que a mi me hayan ido bien no quiere decir que a todo el mundo le vaya igual de bien, siempre hay que tener en cuenta nuestro tipo y estado de la piel. Lo mejor sería que un especialista os recomendara una rutina específica.

En mi caso tengo la piel mixta y sensible. Si vuestra piel es el mismo caso a la mia podéis probar estos productos que no a todos probablemente os gustarán, pero seguro que hay personas que le sirve mucho este listado de productos.

Hay mucha gente que tiene la piel mixta y lo que hacen es aplicar diferentes productos para cada zona específica (un producto para la zona grasa que sea para controlar los brillos y otro producto más hidratante para las zonas más secas de nuestro rostro).

Pero en mi caso tengo varios productos diferentes y los voy combinando dependiendo de como tenga la piel ese día, usaría uno u otro.

❥LIMPIADOR❥

𐙚Effaclar gel moussant de La Roche Posay: es mi favorito está indicado para pieles grasas, sensibles y con acné. Es acuoso pero cuando lo aplicas se vuelve espuma. Lo que más me gusta de este limpiador es que apesar de ser para pieles grasas no te deja la piel reseca. Y controla bastante bien los granitos y puntos negros.

𐙚Manuka tree purifying de Ziaja: está indicado para pieles mixtas y grasas, es astringente y reduce los poros dilatados.

Está bastante bien para el precio tan bajo que tiene.

𐙚Foaming facial cleaner de Cerave: está indicado para pieles mixtas y grasas. Es espumoso. Lleva ácido hialuronico, niacinamida y ceramidas.

❥Tónico❥

𐙚Manuka tree purifying de Ziaja: es mi tónico favorito y súper económico. Al igual que el limpiador de la misma gama está indicado para pieles mixtas y grasas, controla bastante bien la grasita y los puntos negros.

𐙚Agua de rosas de La Jaboteca: está indicado para piel sensible. Sirve para descongestionar y relajar la piel y afina los poros. Favorece la regeneración de la piel y es calmante. Sólo lleva ingredientes naturales.

𐙚Antioxidation acai berry de Ziaja: está indicado para pieles sensibles, apagadas y cansadas. Lleva ácido hialuronico, es antienvejecimiento, controla el acné y mejora la apariencia de las cicatrices.

Al igual que todo lo de esta marca súper recomendable para el precio que tienen sus productos.

❥Serum❥

𐙚Ácido hialuronico The Ordinary: Este es mi serum favorito, lo uso tanto de día como de noche. Hidrata mucho la piel pero sin dejarla grasa, no lleva aceites y es reparador. Sirve para todo tipo de pieles.

𐙚Ácido Láctico The Ordinary: Es un exfoliante suave, sirve para piel con irregularidades, manchitas y suaviza las pequeñas líneas de expresión. Al ser un exfoliante yo solo lo uso de noche, de vez en cuando y con alta protección solar al día siguiente.

𐙚Vitamina C + Ácido hialuronico: Sirve para todo tipo de pieles, aporta mucha hidratación y es antiedad. Este serum también lo podéis usar día y noche sin problema.

❥Contorno de ojos❥

𐙚Contorno en crema Leche de Cabra de Ziaja: Este contorno es uno de mis favoritos especialmente si lo que buscas es hidratación. Para las personas que tengan la zona de la ojera un poco mas seca. Súper económico y muy buen producto.

𐙚Contorno en crema ProBio de Revuelve: Este contorno está ahora mismo en el n°1 de mi lista de favoritos. Es el que uso a diario tanto de día como de noche. Es muy hidratante y noto que me desinflama un poco las bolsas. También muy económico.

𐙚Contorno en crema de XHEKPON: (sirve también para los labios) Este contorno de farmacia lleva tratamiento antiedad, lleva ácido hialuronico y sirve para todo tipo de pieles.

𐙚Contorno en gel Sage de Ziaja: Este contorno en gel sirve para las bolsas y ojeras, hidrata y reafirma la piel. También súper económico como todo lo de la marca.

❥Crema hidratante❥

𐙚Effaclar dúo(+)spf 30 de La Roche-Posay: Es mi crema de día favorita, si tienes la piel mixta grasa con imperfecciones te va a encantar. Desde que la uso noto muchos menos granitos y puntos negros. Es hidratante pero ligera.

𐙚Aqualia Thermal Gel-crema de Vichi: Esta crema es súper hidratante y deja súper bonita y suave la piel. Yo la uso de noche, aun que la puedes usar día y noche. Es específica para pieles mixtas y grasas.

𐙚Sensitive crema de día spf 20 de Ziaja: Esta crema la uso los días que necesito más hidratación, es específica para piel sensible y muy hidratante. Y súper económica.

❥Crema solar❥

𐙚Fotoprotector FusionFluid spf 50 de Isdin: Está indicado para pieles mixtas y sensibles, es no comedogénico, libre de aceites. Y lleva ácido hialuronico. Es una muy buena elección si tenéis este tipologia de piel.

𐙚Protector solar anti-manchas spf 50 de Bella Aurora: Este protector me gusta mucho, es muy hidratante aún que es específico para pieles mixtas grasas con manchitas.

𐙚Protector solar spf 50 de Revox: Deja la piel aterciopelada, nada pesada. Lleva ácido hialuronico y es súper económica.

Todos los productos que aparecen podéis encontrarlos algunos en parafarmacias, y los demás están casi todos en perfumerías.

🐸They're probably Eastern American toads (Anaxyrus americanus) of which there are 3 subspecies, Eastern American toad(shown?), Dwarf American toad, and the rare Hudson Bay toad. American toads are native to the Eastern US and Canada. They were once part of the genus "Bufo" before they were Anaxyrus. They look similar to Fowler's and Wood house's toads whose territories overlap with the American toad. They can live up to 30yrs.

Some native American tribes associate toads with witchcraft and disease. For others they may represent a clan. In Haudenosaunee lore toad was one of the animals that tried to bring up earth during the creation myth. The Objibwe hero Iyash became the 1st toad in their lore. In Timahami lore a toad singing in the dark means rain. 🌧️

In parts of Europe, toad also represents witchcraft and disease. Familiars would sometimes take the form of toads who were fed blood by the witch's they serve. Europeans had a charm called a toad stone which said to be in the head above the eyes. The stones were used to protect against poison and healing. They were actually fossilized lepidotes. There was also the "toad bone". This bone was used to control horses and people.

The Han Chinese have a toad or frog called Jin Chan/Chan Chuy or "wealth beckoning frog/money toad/frog". Figurines of them are used in Feng Shui.

In Japan toad is seen as bringing luck, prosperity, transformation, and adaptability. They're associated with Benzaiten and the sage, Gama Sennin rode a giant toad and had them as allies.

Toad venom was used by various cultures as a hallucinagin.

Novo Mercedes-Benz GLB: Quando a robustez encontra a elegância

Há sempre um SUV Mercedes-Benz à sua medida. Elétrico, híbrido ou a combustão, compacto ou de maiores dimensões, terá sempre na gama da marca uma opção que vai ao encontro das suas necessidades. A renovação do GLB é mais um bom exemplo desta estratégia de reforço e atualização permanente da oferta, com uma aposta clara num desenho ainda mais moderno e elegante, mas também no acréscimo de equipamento de conforto e segurança.

A atualização do SUV compacto GLB vai muito além do que a vista alcança. Mas são as mudanças de ordem estética que, naturalmente, mais sobressaem num primeiro contato. Estão ainda disponíveis em opção dois ecrãs de maiores dimensões (10.25”). As saídas de ventilação redondas com design em forma de turbina perpetuam esta elegância desportiva e contrastam com os elementos interiores em alumínio, retilíneos e típicos de modelos todo-o-terreno. O volante de série desta atual geração é revestido em pele. Adicionalmente, e pela primeira vez, está disponível na linha de equipamento AMG Line um volante com função de aquecimento.

Criar rotinas através da I.A.

O assistente de voz inteligente da Mercedes-Benz ganha capacidade de diálogo e de aprendizagem graças aos avanços da I.A. e aos serviços Mercedes me que podem ser ativados. O sistema fica a conhecer o condutor e lembra-se das configurações ou percursos habituais. No momento apropriado, sugere funções de informação e de entretenimento, de conforto e do veículo – precisamente adaptadas à respetiva situação de condução. Naturalmente, o condutor poderá rejeitar esta sugestão com a função “Não sugerir agora”, ou eliminar permanentemente a sugestão com “Não sugerir novamente”. O veículo lembrar-se-á destas pretensões. Desta forma, certas ações podem ser acionadas sem ter de pronunciar "Olá Mercedes" e o assistente de voz pode agora também explicar as funções do veículo.

Um curioso novo equipamento digital foi, adicionalmente, integrado no GLB em combinação com o opcional pack Individualização dos serviços Mercedes me connect. Uma seleção de minijogos criados especialmente para ecrãs táteis e para os botões de controlo táteis no volante, tornam o SUV numa consola de jogos móvel. A segurança não é uma opção...

Os sistemas de assistência de segurança são outra área na qual o GLB se destaca. Através do Controlo Ativo da Direção, uma atualização do pack Assistência à Condução permite um controlo mais confortável do Assistente de Faixa de Rodagem. A próxima geração do pack Parking fornece assistência em estacionamento longitudinal com vista de 360 graus durante o estacionamento assistido por câmara. Pela primeira vez, o GLB também oferece Assistente de Manobra do Reboque, que facilita as manobras de marcha-atrás com apoio da câmara. Como pré-requisito, o veículo deve estar equipado com gancho de reboque, ESP® de estabilização do reboque e pack Parking com câmara de 360 graus.

Reforço da eletrificação na “ordem do dia”

O novo GLB está disponível na Europa com quatro versões de motor a gasolina e quatro versões de motor diesel. A gama inclui motores de quatro cilindros com caixa de velocidades de dupla embraiagem de sete ou oito relações. As duas versões de motor a gasolina mais potentes estão equipadas de série com sistema de tração integral variável 4MATIC.

Para reduzir o consumo e as emissões, todos os motores a gasolina são eletrificados. Estas versões híbridas parciais estão equipadas com sistema elétrico de 48 V, para o motor de arranque / alternador. A sua potência suplementar de 10 kW, disponível por breves momentos, confere ao modelo uma maior agilidade durante o arranque e uma aceleração mais rápida nas solicitações do acelerador. Esta solução também melhora o conforto, já que reduz as vibrações e o ruído durante o arranque do motor e também permite circular em roda livre com este desligado. Além disso, durante as manobras de travagem e de aceleração, o motor de arranque/alternador, através da função de regeneração, recupera energia que pode ser utilizada para reforçar o sistema elétrico de bordo de 12 V e a bateria de 48 V.

His eyes are surrounded with red marks. Konohamaru summons Gamagoro, to teach academy students how to summon. After the demonstration, he is dismissed. Gamaken (Frogs of Naruto). Gamaken is a giant toad that lives on Mount Myoboku. Sometimes called Ken. Gamaken is very humble. Gamaken often appears anxious and mentions how awkward it is to him. He once more complains to Gamabunta about how awkward he feels while battling the summons of the Animal Path during Pain’s invasion. Despite this, he hasn’t demonstrated any evidence of being any more clumsy or “ungraceful” than the other toads in the series, He also pledges to do his best. Gamaken, a huge magenta-colored frog, has black patterns all over his body, arms and legs, as well as horn-like protrusions at his head. Gerotora (Frogs of Naruto) Gerotora, a scroll toad that is native to Mount Myoboku and which keeps the scroll-abdomen information with vigilance up to the death of its owner, is a rare species. He lives in the stomach of his contractor and is known for his extraordinary stamina. He is a black-and-orange toad with dark patterns around his mouth, eyes and underbelly. Gerotora is able to stretch his abdomen to reveal a scroll which, when hidden creates the impression that Gerotora is wearing an obi. Gamatatsu Gamatatsu is one of the toads found on Mount Myboku. Along with being Gamabunta’s youngest child, he is Gamakichi’s younger brother. Gamatatsu is primarily yellow with orange accents around the eyes and mouth. Two indented markings are also visible on Gamatatsu's stomach. He was small enough in Part I to fit on Naruto’s head; however, in Part II, he has grown to the point that he can now hold Naruto up on his head and swallow an adult. He’s wearing a blue vest like his brother. Gamahiro Gamahiro, or simply Hiro, is a huge toad found on Mount Myboku. Gamahiro is a giant toad. But, unlike Gamabunta's, his size is inconsistently displayed. His height is usually higher than trees and structures. His shoulders have two distinctive, round marks. His skin color is aquamarine, with grey-colored outlines around his eyes. He has an orange sash that wraps around his midriff and carries two large katanas on the back. In Part I of the anime, he was a brown color. Gamariki Gamariki, a toad from Mount Myboku. Gamariki is known for his flamboyant behavior and often communicates his emotions through body gestures. He also has a propensity in the Japanese version to use charming language when referring to people whose names finish in “-chan.” On the other hand, when he was serious, his voice—which was often high—took on a deep, sombre tone, which is said to be his typical voice. Gamamaru The oldest and most revered toad of all Mount Myboku’s residents is Gamamaru, also known as the Great Toad Sage. Because of his advanced age, the other toads refer to him as Great Honourable Geezer. He is known for his precise prophesies. He is one of Mount Myboku’s largest residents, easily matching the sizes of Bunta, Ken, and Hiro. Gamamaru's stomach is white, his eyes are brown and he squints a lot. He is donning a professor’s hat with tassels and an orb on top. He also sports a necklace with the toads’ village’s “oil” emblem on it. It’s not often that I get to write him, but every so often I’ll involve Gama in a thread—that’s the toad that Jiraiya was first introduced on the back of, and who he summons from time to time in the series. This headcanon has been in the back of my mind, seriously, for ages (and I even started a fic about it which is languishing eternally in my WIPs somewhere).

Basically, since this toad is only ever seen with Jiraiya—as far as I recall—I started working on a little bit of backstory for his and Jiraiya’s relationship that I’ll summarise here!

So, when Jiraiya first signed his contract with the toads and became an apprentice toad sage, learning how to mould nature chakra and perform senjutsu was only part of the training he underwent. The toads also wanted to foster within the boy a deeper interest in the natural world and a connection to their people, as they had done with all the other toad sages over the centuries. 

Part of this induction was to have him pick an egg from the spawning ponds, and raise it from tadpole to fully grown toad. And this was how a very small Jiraiya came to be responsible for a tadpole that was pretty much the size of his entire torso, who would grow into big funky orange boi we see today! (The subject of this fic I mentioned is pretty much kid Jiraiya dealing with a massive juvenile toadlet, and all the antics that involves)

Once Jiraiya nurtured him through the stages of tadpole to toadlet to fully-grown toad (Jira was about 13 at the time), it was finally time to give him his real name, the name that would be inscribed on the Name Registry Scroll as per tradition. The honour of choosing this name fell upon Jiraiya, as the one who’d raised him... And, being as creative with names as ever he was, Jiraiya chose to name him ‘Gama’ (to the despair of Ma and Pa). 

Ever since, Gama has been a firm companion to Jiraiya, and the kanji for "loyalty" (忠, chū) on his beaded necklace is a symbol of this connection. The kabuki-esque posing that Gama emulates is picked up from Jiraiya (along with spying, oo-er), and he’ll often move in synch with him, or know to attack or defend without Jiraiya even vocalising it. Because the two also have matching tattoos on their palms, I like to think that this was a ceremonial confirmation of Gama’s status as a summon personal to Jiraiya—it functions as a summoning tattoo for any toad, but the toad that has a matching tattoo is one that only he can summon. 

Additionally, as Jiraiya was the most recent and most experienced toad sage (until his passing), Gama was charged with keeping the Summoning Contract Scroll, as seen in the series—this duty would be passed down the line of toad sages and their personal summons, should they make such a bond.

Gama’s feelings towards Jiraiya, overall, can best be described as one between comrades but also like an older/younger sibling with Jiraiya as the elder he looks up to. Once Jiraiya passes away, we don’t get to meet Gama again; he would remain on Myōbokuzan and spend many years in mourning.

NaNo Prep Week #2 - Create Complex Characters

NaNo Prep is a series of blog posts covering the NaNo Prep 101 curriculum which is a good outline of the things you want to do to get ready for NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month.

Its week #2 and we’re now looking at characters. In the character-plot-setting triad this is definitely my weakest area. I have a terrible tendency to create characters I don’t like. I’ve been thinking about this a lot recently and I think its because I don’t seem to make them proactive enough. I really hate passive characters. So much. Mention Tess of the D’Urbervilles too me and you get instant rage. I read that book at 17 so I’ve known about that for a long time, yet I still seem to create characters that fall into that trap. This week is the one I am going to put particular effort into.

Once again, there are some resources on the NaNo website and I started there. There’s another generator, but its nowhere near as much fun. Some other resources I found especially useful:

The lectures on Character that form part of Brandon Sanderson’s BYU lectures on Writing Science Fiction and Fantasy (the entire 2020 course is online). I strongly recommend watching these as they give you lots of tools to analyse your characters and lots of examples to see how the theory translates in to practice. There are three lectures - part 1, part 2 and the Q&A.

Writing Excuses 11.37 - Casting Your Book with Gama Martinez had some good practical ideas. I’m going to go into detail on this one because I used it a lot.

The most interesting characters are the ones in the most pain.

Your characters will exist on multiple scales of power/privilege. The recommendation from the hosts is to explore this by flipping their status on some of these axis to help you explore your character. The particular axis identified were role, race/ethnicity, age, orientation/sexuality, ability, class/education and gender. Its important to try and avoid problematic tropes while doing this.

As well as the axis flipping, another idea was to write job interviews with different types of characters.

I enjoyed “I JUST DIDN’T CONNECT WITH THE MAIN CHARACTER” | How to Write Characters Readers Will Love from Michelle Schusterman. In particular, she talks about the concept of character postulates - deeply held beliefs - and how you use those. Building on that, and on the idea of the compulsion (the key postulate) I found Creating SATISFYING Character Growth in a Cozy Mystery from Jane Kalmes useful, framing the difference between the plot and the character arc as the Acute Issue and Chronic Issue.

This is a useful post on Jungian Archetypes. When I have struggled in the past, I’ve tried mapping a character onto an archetype. This helped give me a driving desire or show me when a desire isn’t right. Its not a template, but more a way of interrogating the character you’ve created. I had a character who was a bit all over the place. Her biggest fear was being trapped into what her parents wanted. Looking at the Archetypes I realised I wanted her to be an Explorer and this helped me to flesh her out more when I was struggling.

How I used them

My focus here has been on my protagonist. I’ve been trying to create a character who I don’t hate and who I can give a solid arc that ties into the plot. She is an expert on cults who has focused largely on academic work. Early in her career she tried some field work - support for a cult member who had recently left a cult - and it failed terribly. She has watched as her family have fallen into various cultic organisations and felt paralysed to help them in any way because of her failure. Her relationships with them have been on the decline. This is her chronic issue.

I had a go at writing some postulates:

She believes that if she tries to help members of cults and cultic organisations, she has a substantial chance of making things worse. The main plot offers her a way to potentially overcome this by targeting the cult rather than the individual.

She believes strongly in the dangers posed by cultic groups like some conspiracy theory groups, right wing militias and multi-level marketing organisations. She feels that the dangers posed by these groups are consistently underestimated by the mainstream media and authorities.

She does not believe in any kind of supernatural phenomena and has criticised cultic groups that profess to have abilities. In fact, she spent a while debunking a medium who had a cultic following.

Using the scales Brandon Sanderson suggests, she’s high on the competence scale re: her knowledge of cults, but low on practical application of it, and of other skills she needs in her new role. She’s been through a rough time, which hopefully will make her sympathetic and thus at least partway up the likability scale. She will start low on the proactivity scale, but accelerate up it as the plot progresses. Because, another thing I have realised as I went through this process, is that a little bit of passivity early on is okay. As long as it doesn’t last for the entire book and lead to their own death!

In terms of Jungian archetypes, she is a mix of the Sage and the Magician. This was interesting and made me think about the character a bit. Should her inability to act be motivated by the fear of unintended consequences, or is it just academic paralysis? If she has elements of the magician, does that mean she also has elements of a cult leader? The Magician is certainly the archetype that a cult leader would follow. These presented me with two different ideas I could explore if I feel I need something more or if something doesn’t work.

As três saídas de ventilação redondas em forma de turbina, tão características da Mercedes-Benz, são uma homenagem ao mundo da aviação, enquanto a consola central com um novo desenho transmite as aspirações de alta tecnologia do novo Classe B através do seu visual Black Panel, enquanto o novo volante da última geração é revestido de série em pele napa.

Mas porque na Mercedes-Benz cada cliente é único e especial, o Classe B propõe uma gama atrativa de cores e materiais no interior que permitem um elevado grau de personalização. Na versão base, os bancos foram aperfeiçoados e recebem revestimentos ARTICO tridimensionais. A versão Progressive oferece a exclusividade tão característica da Mercedes-Benz, com uma nova combinação de cores em preto, preto/macchiato e o novo preto/cinzento sage. Neste caso, o revestimento dos bancos também pode ser escolhido com revestimento em pele na cor preto ou castanho Bahia. Os elementos de revestimento recém-desenvolvidos com padrão de estrelas dão um toque de maior emoção ao habitáculo. A versão AMG, com o interior revestido em ARTICO/MICROCUT preto e pespontos contrastantes em vermelho, assume-se como a variante mais desportiva do novo Classe B.

Reciclar é a palavra de ordem

Na sua iniciativa Ambition 2039, a Mercedes-Benz definiu o objetivo de lançar um portfólio de novos automóveis ligeiros de passageiros e comerciais ligeiros (VCL) neutros em CO2 ao longo de toda a cadeia de valor e do ciclo de vida do modelo, a partir de 2039. O objetivo consiste ainda em reduzir, pelo menos para metade, as emissões de CO2 durante todo o ciclo de vida de cada automóvel ligeiro até ao final desta década. Uma das medidas corresponde à utilização de materiais reciclados. Por esta razão, a composição de todos os materiais a utilizar também foi reconsiderada no projeto do novo Classe B e a possibilidade de utilização de alternativas mais sustentáveis foi sempre tida em consideração. Os bancos, por exemplo, integram na sua secção central, tecido fabricado a partir de material 100% reciclado. No caso dos bancos ARTICO/MICROCUT, esta proporção é de 65 por cento nas superfícies de revestimento e de 85 por centro no material interior do mesmo.

Sem nunca penalizar a possibilidade de personalização dos clientes, a Mercedes-Benz optou por simplificar significativamente a lógica dos vários packs de equipamento por forma a reduzir a morosa seleção das muitas opções individuais. Os equipamentos que são frequentemente selecionados em conjunto são agora agrupados em packs de equipamento com base nas preferências reais do cliente. Além disso, estão disponíveis opções adicionais. No que diz respeito às opções de design como a pintura, os estofos, os revestimentos e as jantes, os clientes continuam a poder configurar os seus veículos individualmente tal como anteriormente.

Em termos concretos, mesmo na sua especificação de série, o novo Classe B já inclui uma grande variedade de elementos de conforto, segurança e auxílio à condução, como a câmara de marcha-atrás, os ecrãs multimédia, o pack USB e o volante revestido em pele napa. A partir da versão Progressive, o equipamento de série passa a incluir os faróis LED, os bancos com regulação do apoio lombar, o pack Parking, o pack Espelhos e a porta do compartimento de bagagens Easy Pack.

Mas a capacidade de personalização dos utilizadores vai muito além dos elementos mencionados e passa até pela forma como a informação surge aos olhos do condutor e restantes ocupantes. Nesta última geração do MBUX, o novo Classe B conta com três estilos de exibição: o Classic apresenta toda a informação importante para o condutor, o estilo Sporty impressiona com um conta-rotações dinâmico, enquanto o estilo Discreet é caracterizado pela redução da quantidade de conteúdos apresentados. Em combinação com três modos (Navigation, Assistance, Services) e sete mundos de cores, estes criam uma experiência completa que pode ser personalizada de acordo com conforme o desejado.

O sistema de telemática também foi revisto e impressiona com o seu novo design e desempenho melhorado. Outra nova funcionalidade é a integração de um sensor de impressão digital (disponibilidade prevista para o começo de 2023) para a identificação e autorização do condutor. O assistente de voz Hey Mercedes no novo Classe B tem agora uma maior capacidade de diálogo e de aprendizagem.

Reduzir as emissões, nunca as emoções

A gama de motores a gasolina do novo Classe B também foi aperfeiçoada e consistentemente eletrificada. Com um sistema elétrico adicional de 48 V e um aumento de potência de 10 kW, as manobras de arranque são particularmente apoiadas. Para os condutores do novo Classe B, o motor de arranque/alternador acionado por correia também melhora notoriamente o conforto: reduz o ruído e a vibração durante o processo de arranque comparativamente aos motores de arranque convencionais e permite circular em modo “vela” a uma velocidade constante com o motor de combustão desligado. Além disso, o motor de arranque/alternador recupera energia durante a travagem e desta forma alimenta o sistema elétrico de bordo de 12 V bem como a bateria de 48 V.

As versões híbridas plug-in do novo Classe B beneficiam do aperfeiçoamento da bateria de alta tensão. O próprio processo de carregamento foi otimizado: além da potência de 3.7 kW de série, esta bateria aperfeiçoada pode agora também ser carregada com corrente alterna e com uma potência de até 11 kW. Além disso, os clientes continuam a ter a opção de carregar a bateria com corrente contínua e com uma potência de até 22 kW. Um carregamento deste tipo assegura uma carga de 10 até 80 % em cerca de 25 minutos. O motor elétrico no novo Classe B também foi revisto e atinge uma potência de 80 kW, um aumento de 5 kW.
