eyy,, i made a pokétrainer oc !!!! been trying to design them for nearly a month, i think- only managed to finalize her design with some help from some friends,,, sksmsknsjs. lineart isn't mine, btw!! instead made by my friend sap @pinesented my good friend sap. colors are by me, tho! (and no i definitely didn't just steal the color palette from the gender-fluid flag, bc i am. so good at colors).

anyway this is malachai last-name-pending and he specializes in dark/ghost types <3. she looks scary but really they're pretty chill and just a bit introverted. prolly messes with tarot cards, too,,,

The FCG doodles for a friend that jump started me somewhat out of art block the other day! Turns out I love drawing this goofy robot <333

I'm particularly fond of the one of him bending over to pet a cat 💛

#screaming crying throwing up I can't believe I've learned I love drawing him NOW #maybe more doodles to come as my friend catches up on C3!#he's got such a nice design that follows very specific rules for how it moves #I have trouble drawing people without EXACT reference bc I can't rlly visualize anything #so it's hard to sort of figure out what's supposed to be going on with a body when it moves unless I can see it exactly in front of me #but FCG is so nice bc it's a few moving parts that follow very basic rules of how they can move and still balance on the wheel #and all the non moving parts are fairly simple cylinders and rounds #so to create a pose from scratch I need only know the line of motion and then I start from the wheel and work my way up #it's very fun!!! I would love to draw more FCG #critical role campaign 3 #sams art #bells hells #critical role #FCG #fresh cut grass #cr c3 #critical role c3 #the stairs were harder to draw than the robot

Hey weird question but it came up in conversation with my brother and I realized I have been followed, on separate occasions, by both an emu and an ostrich and he has not, but our sample size is two and we have no idea which is the weird one lol So, the question: if you have seen an emu or ostrich in a setting where the bird could also see you and had the ability to follow you when you walked away, did it follow you?

#the person behind the yarn #the ostrich was at a zoo! followed me all the way around the enclosure #the path went around like 3/4ths of the enclosure and it followed me the whole dang time #well. several ostriches followed me for part of the time #one followed the whole time #and one of my childhood friends had an emu at his house #in retrospect. I do not know why his family had an emu????#we were like ten the why was not important to me at the time #but the emu was definitely following me all along the fence line #my brother did not go to that friend's house and was not at the zoo with me #and I don't think he's ever been around a ratite when it could also see him and follow him if it wanted to?

#MOTHERS FRIEND DOING THIS WITH OUR CAT RN IM PISSED.#SHE DIDNT EVEN GIVE TOFU ANY TIME TO SNIFF OR ANYTHING??#Sigh.#tofu came downstairs to see what was up bc person was in the house #But person just immediately started petting her #even tho tofu was visibly uncomfortable and clearly just wanted a sniff test or sm #went to my room asap after that and tofu followed quick on my heels #obvs I let her sniff as much as she wants before petting her (if she even wants fuss) so she had a sniff and very much seemed to want fuss #so I gave her a few strokes and then sorta checked in and she swirled around and bumped her head into my hand (all the while her tail was #pointed straight up with the tip quivering a little every few moments - a sign of happiness/excitement to see a familiar person)#so we had cuddles for a bit until she hopped off my chest to go get water or sm :3 #BUT I DONT GET WHY MORE PEOPLE DONT HAVE SIMPLE WHOLESOME INTERACTION WITH THEIR CAT LIKE THIS??#LIKE. CATS ARE SENTIENT. THEY SEEK AUTONOMY - ESPECIALLY BODILY AUTONOMY. WHY TF WOULD YOU NOT LET THEM GIVE/DENY CONSENT??#like. if you aren’t willing to learn enough about an animal to understand when it’s unhappy at the very least *why* would you interact with #one?? A small farewell to the Curse Of Strahd game I just finished with my friends! We definitely didn't have the time to finish everything we were supposed to, how the hell we made it to level 9 I have no clue lmao but I'm grateful for everything we gained along the way!

So here's to the most chaotic year and a half of my life, with a couple small drawings of mine (Cordelia Vanguard Starling- on the right) and my dear friends characters (Vincent Vanguard/ Fighter- on the left) who got married barely 12 hours before killing Strahd, while she was potentially already pregnant with their triplets werewolf babies lmao (Violet, Vesper, Valen and their future little brother Caspian Clyde- below)

May this chaos continue in the future sequel where my brother's character takes over as the new evil lord of the realm and also cool evil uncle Symon, and the first side quest is to find a babysitter in Barovia!!
