i love crazy contrasting 1p2p in every way(not every way). so i always subconsciously have 2P rusame be friends. unlikely friends etc. in whatever weird school au theyre friends. meri was probably bullied until he started hissing at other kids or something while rus2 was just like huhh okay yeah okay what fine. rus2 found him in a broom closet and it was as awkward as it sounds. in the weird stuckin1Pcoldwar au i have theyre friends also in the torturous existence. 1P rusame is too weird life is too short lets tomodachi✌️
starting to realize that whenever i find myself going "i am too sick and burnt-out and tired and shitty and foggy to write anything ever again," the actual solution to my problems is Not to stop writing forever. it is instead just. to sit down and write a horror story. whatever horror happens to spring onto the page. bc there will always be Some kind of horror story ready to pour forth. easy as breathing. it's always there. like yeah girl you ARE tired. it's because there's horror in you. you listen to unbelievably gruesome horror-tragedy fiction podcasts to lull yourself to sleep bc they are Genuinely Comforting, of fucking COURSE your burnout self-care is gonna involve writing horror. "why can't i write all the NICE stories that people actually LIKE" girl you CAN. eventually. but you have GOT to puke the black sludge first i'm fucking BEGGINGGGGGG,
with my phantom hourglass replay, there are two things i noticed;
a possible theme you could glean from the game is action vs inaction, and i think it's especially prevalent before you even leave mercay the first time, with oshus frequently urging link to not go after the ghost ship, then to just wait until the broken bridge is fixed, and seems reluctant at every turn while link and ciela are more than eager to go and do something about this problem, and the people of mercay in general talking about things and their problems but never seeming to act on their fears or desires, as well as the mention that due to the ghost ship, very very few people are still sailing around, while linebeck is one of the only people we see in the game actively going after the ghost ship and still sailing around. i might make a longer post just talking more about the action vs inaction in phantom hourglass but i just noticed it a bit and thought it was a bit of an interesting sort of theme you could find in the game.
linebeck moves so fucking much. i think he moves more than any npc in the rest of the game. not just in his intro cutscene where he is very animated, just in how much he moves when just standing in his little idle post, it's damn near distracting when the camera is focused on him, he moves a lot. i don't think i've really acknowledged how much he moves, and it really gives the impression that he's antsy or eager to get going, both of which fit him pretty well with how he acts.
Y'all tell me if it's just a me thing but you know what I find that's actually annoying compared to people forgetting your birthday? People who wish you an early happy birthday on purpose and thinks they're special because 'ooo look I wished you this early so I must be the first person to wish you a happy birthday and that makes me special' 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐
yknow people claim that 'tme/tma' labels are supposed to 'not disclose your assigned gender!!!' but the thing is that... when you present yourself as nonbinary.... it pretty much does
Everyone's talking about Wish right now.... The only thing I can say about WISH.......let's hope it's like a Frozen 1 type thing. Where the trailers were ABSOLUTE ASS but then the film turned out really good. TT0TT
I mean.....there is a difference between the two. While the west got weird trailers that didn't matter for Frozen (Olaf vs Sven carrot thing), JPN and other countries got trailers that actually showcased the plot and drama in an interesting way.... And Wish.....well...... Wish at least gives us a villain and a part of an argument.....and I can't see that argument leading anywhere.....great tbh. So maybe not the best comparisons but let's hope for the Frozen 1 vibe!
Anyway I'm not liking what I'm seeing so far, but I'm hoping its better than the ass disaster Frozen 2 and Ralph 2 were. ;w;
