FOREVER NOW | CHRISTOPHER STURNIOLO
You and Chris have been tied together by an invisible string ever since you met at 10. As you grew older, Chris became your safe place. He was always there, unknowingly shaping himself into the person you’d eventually fall in love with. By the time you were 18, you had become each other’s first everything- first kiss, first love, first promise that neither of you could ever belong to anyone else the way you belonged to each other. And now, standing in the bathroom with ten pregnancy tests lined up on the counter, that promise felt heavier than ever.
story warnings: fluff, smut, creampie, heavy breeding kink, pregnancy, established relationship, etc… if any of these topics upset you… don’t read!
word count: 6k
a/n: thank you so much for 1k followers!! i love you all so much!!
The rain taps gently against the window. Your shared apartment is dimly lit, warm, filled with the faint trace of Chris’s cologne- the kind of smell that feels like home, like safety.
Chris is beside you on the couch, one arm draped lazily over your legs, his other hand scrolling absentmindedly through his phone. The TV plays some old movie in the background, half-forgotten.
Your fingers trace small circles on his forearm, the soft fabric of his hoodie warmed by his skin. He hums in contentment, shifting just enough to glance at you.
“What’s going on in that beautiful head of yours?” he asks, voice soft, familiar.
You smile, but your mind is elsewhere, caught in the years before this moment. Because this love didn’t start here.
It started long before.
FIFTH GRADE.
You met Chris at ten years old, standing awkwardly in the doorway of your parents’ friend’s house.
“This is Chris,” your mom said, nudging you forward.
He had messy brown hair, an oversized hoodie, and a smile that made you think he probably got in trouble at school a lot.
He gave you a shy nod. “Hi.”
You stared for a moment, then mumbled, “Hi.”
The adults left you alone, and somehow, within an hour, you were arguing over who could beat who in Bedwars. By the time your parents came back, you were already thick as thieves, plotting some grand scheme to get extra dessert at dinner.
From that day on you couldn’t remember a memory that he wasn’t in.
EIGHTH GRADE
You learned that heartbreak could come before high school.
There was a boy- your first real crush. He was charming, sweet, made you feel special. Until, suddenly, he didn’t.
You found out from a friend that he had been texting someone else the entire time. That everything he said to you, he said to her too.
Chris found you at the park that night, sitting on the swings, kicking at the dirt, trying not to cry.
He sat next to you without a word. Just there. Present. Until you were ready.
“I really liked him,” you admitted eventually, voice small.
Chris scoffed. “Yeah, well, he’s an idiot.”
You sniffled, glancing at him. “You think?”
Chris nodded firmly. “Obviously. He had you and still wanted someone else? That’s just stupid.”
Something about the way he said it, so certain, made your heart feel just a little lighter.
You didn’t know it then, but that was the first time Chris made you feel like you were worth more than the people who hurt you.
It wouldn’t be the last.
JUNIOR YEAR.
Prom was supposed to be perfect.
Instead, your date cheated. Chris’s date bailed.
And somehow, you ended up at prom together- dressed up, but ditching the actual dance for a late-night drive, fast food in hand, sitting on the hood of his car in the school parking lot.
“You think we’re cursed?” you joked, pulling a fry from the bag.
Chris smirked, leaning back on his palms. “Or maybe we just keep picking the wrong people.”
You glanced at him then- at the way the Boston lights reflected in his eyes, at the way he always showed up when no one else did.
For a moment, you almost said something. Almost realized something.
But instead, you just smiled. “Guess we’re each other’s backup plan now, huh?”
Chris had looked down at his feet and let out an almost sad sounding chuckle, “Guess so.”
But he didn’t feel like a backup plan.
Not even then.
SENIOR YEAR.
It wasn’t sudden.
It wasn’t a grand, dramatic moment where everything clicked into place.
It was gradual. Like the slow rising of the sun, creeping into your life until one day, you realized- he had always been the light.
Chris had always been there. Through every heartbreak, through every bad decision, through every night spent crying over people who didn’t deserve you.
And then one day, you just knew.
It was late, past midnight, the two of you lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling, laughing about something dumb, something unimportant. And then the laughter faded, and suddenly, the air felt different.
Chris was looking at you. Really looking at you.
And for the first time, you didn’t look away.
Your heartbeat quickened. You swallowed.
“Chris.”
He shifted, his fingers barely brushing against yours between the sheets. “Yeah?”
You took a breath.
“I- I think it’s always been you.”
Silence.
His breath hitched, but his fingers curled around yours, holding tight.
“I-” He exhaled sharply, shaking his head with a quiet laugh. “God, I was scared to say it first.”
Your chest ached, but for the first time, it wasn’t painful. It was full.
You smiled, biting your lip. “You’re an idiot.”
“Yeah,” he murmured, eyes soft, full of something you had been searching for in everyone else but only ever found in him.
And then he kissed you.
And everything made sense.
Back in the apartment, Chris shifts beside you, resting his chin on your shoulder.
“You’re thinking too much again,” he murmurs.
You shake your head, smiling softly. “Just remembering.”
He hums. “Good memories?”
“The best.”
Chris tilts his head, studying you. “Wanna share?”
You turn to face him, meeting the gaze of the boy who had always been there, who had never let you go.
The rain outside is still steady and you let your head rest against his chest again, listening to the steady beat of his heart. Safe. Home.
“You ever think about soulmates?” you ask, voice quiet but certain.
Chris smirks, locking his phone and setting it aside. “Yeah.”
You lift a brow, tilting your head to look up at him. “Oh really? Always been me?”
He chuckles, low and warm, pressing a kiss to your forehead before leaning back against the couch. “Yes, my love. Always been you.”
Your heart swells. Even after all these years, hearing it still makes something in your chest ache in the best way.
Chris shifts, pulling you even closer, wrapping his arms around you completely, tucking your head under his chin. You sigh against his hoodie, breathing him in, your fingers tracing idle patterns on his thigh.
For a while, you just exist like that- wrapped up in each other, listening to the rain, the outside world feeling so far away.
Then Chris hums. “What do you wanna do for dinner?”
You tilt your head, thinking. “What about some PF Chang’s?”
His face lights up. “That sounds incredible.”
You grin, watching as he grabs his phone and pulls up DoorDash, immediately placing the order without hesitation. Because it’s the city, and neither of you want to go out in the rain when food can be delivered straight to your door.
When the food arrives, you both sit on the couch, containers spread out on the coffee table. You grab a pair of chopsticks, but Chris, like always, opts for a fork, shooting you a smug look like he’s superior for it.
“You’re so uncultured,” you tease, grabbing a dumpling.
Chris snorts. “I just don’t like fighting for my food.”
You roll your eyes, but there’s no real annoyance behind it- just warmth, just love.
As you eat, the conversation shifts to your future, like it always does.
“What about baby names?” Chris muses, stealing a bite of your lo mein like it’s his. “What do you like?”
You smirk. “You planning on knocking me up tonight or something?”
Chris smirks. “Definitely planning on fuckin’ you but, getting you pregnant? We’ll see.”
You shrug nonchalantly, picking up a garlic noodle with your chopstick. “I still want you to cum inside me tonight regardless.”
He chokes on his food, coughing as he glares at you. “Jesus, give me a warning before you say stuff like that. I’m gonna get hard.”
You laugh, nudging his shoulder. “I’m serious, though. You ever think about it? Baby names, becoming parents, getting me pregnant…?
Chris swallows, setting his container down before shifting to look at you fully. His expression softens, thoughtful. “Yeah,” he admits. “I have.”
You raise a brow. “And?”
He smirks. “You first.”
You sigh dramatically, leaning back into the couch, pretending to think. “I like the name Owen for a boy,” you say eventually. “And maybe Elliot for a girl. Her nickname would be Ellie”
Chris nods. “Owen? That’s my middle name. But Ellie is really cute. I like that.”
“Yeah, goof. It would be named after you, handsome. But what about you?”
He leans forward, resting his chin in his hand as he blushes softly. “I’ve always liked the name Weston for a boy,” he says, glancing at you. “And for a girl… maybe Aria.”
You smile. “Aria is cute.”
Chris nudges you. “So, our kid’s name is either Owen, Ellie, Weston, or Aria. Got it.”
You roll your eyes, but your heart swells anyway. “I can’t imagine having a kid anytime soon.”
Chris grins, pulling you onto his lap effortlessly, wrapping his arms around your waist. “No rush,” he murmurs, nuzzling into your shoulder. “We’ve got time.”
You melt into him, fingers threading through his hair.
“Okay, more future talk,” he says after a moment. “Houses. Where do we end up?”
You hum. “Do you wanna stay in Boston?”
Chris tilts his head. “I like Boston, but I wouldn’t mind somewhere quieter. Maybe something coastal? A place where we can sit on the porch and watch the sunrise. What about my family's cape house?”
You smile. “That sounds perfect.”
Chris grins, tapping his fingers lightly against your back. “Can you imagine being as a full time suburban dad?”
You snicker. “Hard to imagine you giving up city life and inheriting Matt’s minivan to truck our kids around.”
Chris groans. “Please never let me get that goddamn minivan.”
You laugh, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Deal.”
The remnants of dinner are still scattered across the coffee table- half-empty takeout containers, crumpled napkins, chopsticks resting haphazardly in cartons, four empty pepsi cans. Chris groans, stretching his arms before nudging you with his knee.
“You ready to clean this up?” he asks, though he doesn’t look like he wants to move any more than you do.
You sigh dramatically, leaning back against the couch. “Or… we could just leave it here and deal with it in the morning.”
Chris snorts. “No way. You hate waking up to a mess.”
You grumble, knowing he’s right. “Fine. But you’re taking out the trash.”
“Deal.”
The two of you move in sync, cleaning up without much thought- him stacking the containers, you wiping down the table. Domesticity has always been easy with Chris, effortless in a way that feels like breathing. It’s not something you ever have to think about; it just is.
Once the apartment is back in order, you stretch, letting out a soft yawn.
Chris grins, wrapping his arms around you from behind, pressing his chin against your shoulder. “Bed?”
“Yes.”
You slip into the bathroom while Chris grabs water for both of you. The space is warm, the soft yellow glow of the vanity lights reflecting off the marble. You change into one of your favorite comfy outfits- an oversized, faded navy sweatshirt that hangs off one shoulder, exposing the thin strap of your lace bralette underneath, paired with soft gray Calvin Klein boyshorts that hug your hips just right.
The fabric of the sweatshirt nearly swallows you, the hem brushing the tops of your thighs, the sleeves hanging just past your wrists. It smells like detergent, a little like Chris, a little like the home you’ve built together.
By the time you start brushing your teeth, Chris enters, setting the water bottles on the counter before glancing at you in the mirror.
His eyes darken immediately, lips parting slightly as he takes you in- the way the sweatshirt slips off your shoulder, the way your shorts sit snug on your curves.
“You trying to kill me, baby?” he mutters, voice thick.
You smirk around your toothbrush. “I just put on something comfortable.”
Chris shakes his head, stepping closer behind you, his hands skimming the edge of the sweatshirt before resting low on your hips. “Yeah? This is comfortable?”
You nod, watching his gaze flick between your reflection and the way his hands trace slow, deliberate circles against your skin.
You fumble your phone, and it slips from the counter, landing with a soft thud on the floor.
You sigh through your toothbrush, bending over to grab it.
And that’s when you hear it.
A sharp inhale. The softest curse under Chris’s breath.
“Fuck, baby.”
Before you can straighten, his hands slide over your hips, firm but reverent. One palm presses against the small of your back, the other smoothing over your ass, fingers flexing as if he can’t help himself.
You swallow hard, heat creeping up your spine as you grip the sink for balance.
Chris leans in, his lips grazing the shell of your ear. “You still up for that promise, baby?” His voice is low, gravelly, dripping with want.
Your breath hitches. “What promise?” you ask, playing coy.
Chris chuckles, dark and knowing, his fingers pressing a little more insistently into your skin. “The one where you let me cum inside you.”
Your heart pounds, the weight of his words sending a shiver down your spine. You meet his gaze in the mirror, and the heat in his eyes makes your knees weak.
Chris smirks, running his hands up your sides before spinning you to face him fully. His fingers slide under the hem of your sweatshirt, gripping your waist as he pulls you closer.
“You still want that?” he murmurs, his lips ghosting over yours.
Your answer is immediate.
“Yes.”
Chris’s smirk deepens, satisfaction flickering in his darkened gaze. His grip tightens just enough to make you shiver, his fingertips pressing into your skin like he wants to leave his mark there.
“Yeah?” His voice is low, teasing, as he drags his hands over your hips, his thumbs tracing lazy circles. “You want me to fill you up, make sure you feel me long after, huh?”
You swallow, pulse hammering against your ribs. There’s no hesitation when you nod, your breath hitching as his lips graze yours- featherlight, just enough to tease.
Chris hums, his hands sliding lower, squeezing your ass before lifting you onto the counter with ease. His body slots between your legs, firm and unyielding. He keeps you there, locked in place, his forehead resting against yours.
“Say it again,” he demands, his voice rough with want.
Your fingers tangle in his hoodie, pulling him impossibly closer, your legs tightening around his waist.
“I want it, Chris,” you whisper, lips barely brushing his. “I want you to cum inside me.”
A sharp inhale from him, and then his mouth crashes onto yours, all heat and hunger. His fingers slide under your sweatshirt again, this time with purpose, exploring, claiming.
“Shit, baby,” he groans against your lips, his hands pushing higher, tugging at your clothes.
He doesn’t waste another second. His hands slip beneath your thighs, gripping firmly as he lifts you off the counter with effortless strength. Your arms loop around his neck instinctively, your breath coming in short, heated bursts as he carries you through the dimly lit apartment.
The air between you is thick, charged, every step he takes toward the bedroom making your anticipation coil tighter. His lips find your jaw, trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses down the column of your throat as he nudges the bedroom door open with his foot.
By the time he lays you down on the bed, your body is already burning for him. Chris hovers over you, his hands planted on either side of your head, his darkened blue eyes devouring every inch of you.
“Been wanting to do this all night,” he murmurs, fingers dipping under the hem of your sweatshirt again, this time pushing it up with agonizing slowness. “Take my time with you.”
Your stomach tightens as he peels the fabric over your head, tossing it aside carelessly. His gaze drinks you in, lingering on your bare skin, the way your chest rises and falls beneath him.
“Ma,” he breathes, his hands already roaming again, thumbs brushing over your sensitive skin. “You’re so fucking beautiful.”
You reach for his hoodie, fingers curling around the hem as you tug. “Then take this off,” you whisper, your voice breathless, needy.
Chris smirks but obliges, pulling it over his head and letting it drop to the floor. His toned chest and arms are bare now, the soft glow from the bedside lamp casting shadows over the ridges of his muscles.
Your hands roam over his skin, tracing along his collarbones and his happy trail. He watches you with dark, hooded eyes, his breathing heavy as he slides his hands down your body, toying with the waistband of your shorts.
“These too,” he murmurs, voice thick with desire, as he hooks his fingers into them, dragging them down your legs inch by inch. The sensation sends a shiver through you, every inch of your exposed skin burning under his touch.
Once your shorts are gone, Chris kneels at the edge of the bed, his hands smoothing over your thighs as he leans down, pressing slow, lingering kisses to your soft and wet cunt. His lips trail higher towards your clit, teasing, making your breath hitch.
Then, just when you think you might combust, he pulls back, standing to his full height.
Your eyes lock onto his as he unbuttons his jeans, dragging the zipper down slowly. He doesn’t look away- not as he pushes them past his hips, not as they fall to the floor, leaving him in just his boxers, the evidence of his desire straining against the fabric.
“Your turn,” you whisper, eyes flicking to the last piece of clothing between you.
Chris smirks, hooking his thumbs into the waistband and pushing them down.
Chris lets his boxers drop to the floor, kicking them aside before crawling back over you, his body warm and solid against yours. His hands find your thighs, spreading them wider as he settles between them, his weight pressing into you in a way that makes your breath hitch.
“Yeahhhh,” he murmurs, dragging his lips along your jaw, down the column of your throat. “You’re so fucking perfect. Every single inch of you.” His hands roam your body like he’s memorizing you all over again, tracing over your curves, his thumbs brushing against your hip bones.
You shudder under his touch, gripping onto his shoulders, needing something to anchor you. Chris smirks against your skin, his lips pressing sloppy kisses over your collarbone, then lower, taking his time.
“I’ll never get tired of this,” he whispers, his breath hot against your peaked nipples. “Never get tired of touching you, tasting you… fucking filling you up.”
Your breath stutters, heat pooling low in your stomach at his words. His hands slide down, gripping your hips firmly, fingers pressing possessively into your skin.
“You love that, don’t you?” he murmurs, tilting his head to watch your reaction. “Love knowing I wanna fill you up every time. Keep you like this-” he grinds his hips against you, slow and deliberate, making you gasp. “So full of me.”
Your nails dig into his shoulders, and Chris groans, rolling his hips again, teasing you, making your body arch into his.
“Say it,” he demands, his voice rough, edged with need. “Tell me you want it, baby.”
Your head tilts back against the pillows, a whimper slipping from your lips. “I want it, Chris,” you breathe, your voice barely more than a whisper. “Want you to fill me up.”
Chris growls low in his throat, his hands gripping your thighs, his lips ghosting over yours. “Fuck, you drive me crazy,” he murmurs. “You know that? The way you say it… the way you look at me like that. I swear, I could spend every fucking day buried inside you and it still wouldn’t be enough.”
His words send a shiver down your spine, your body tightening in anticipation. His fingers trail down, teasing, testing your patience.
“You ready for me, baby?” he asks, voice thick, teasing as his eyes flick up to meet yours. “You want it that bad?”
“Yes,” you gasp, your hands fisting in the sheets. “I need you, Chris.”
Chris groans, pressing one last lingering kiss to your lips, slow and deep, before pulling back just enough to line himself up, swiping his cock a few times through your built up arousal. His gaze locks onto yours, intense, unwavering.
“Then take it,” he murmurs. “Take all of me.”
Chris doesn’t hold back. He pushes in slowly at first, savoring the way your body reacts to him, how you gasp and clutch at his shoulders, legs tightening around his waist. His jaw clenches as he watches you, eyes dark, pupils blown wide with need.
“Fuck,” he groans, dropping his forehead against yours. “You feel so good, baby. Always so fucking perfect for me.”
Your breath stutters, your nails dragging down his back as he sinks deeper, filling you inch by inch. The stretch is delicious, a slow burn that makes your head spin, and Chris eats up every little sound you make, his grip on your waist tightening.
“Look at you,” he murmurs. He leans back just enough to watch your expression, his hands roaming over your tits and cupping them, mapping every inch of you. “You take me so fucking well. Every time.”
Your head tilts back, a moan slipping from your lips as he rolls his hips, setting a slow, deep rhythm. Chris groans at the feeling, his fingers pressing into your skin like he never wants to let go.
“That’s it, baby,” he breathes, kissing along your jaw, down to your throat. “Let me in- let me fill you up just the way you need.”
His pace quickens just a little, his control hanging by a thread as he watches you come undone beneath him. Every thrust pushes him deeper, making you gasp, your body arching into his.
“God, you’re perfect,” he groans, his hands gripping your hips, pulling you closer. “So fucking tight, so warm- like you were made for me.”
Your fingers tangle in his hair, your lips parting in a desperate gasp as he hits the perfect spot inside you. Chris feels it, sees the way your body responds, and it makes something primal snap inside him.
“That’s the spot, huh?” he murmurs, a smirk playing at his lips even as his own breath is ragged. “Gonna cum for me, baby? Gonna let me fill you up like you need?”
“Chris,” you whimper, your body tightening around him, heat coiling low in your stomach.
“Say it,” he growls, his thrusts getting rougher, more desperate. “Tell me you want it. Tell me you need me to cum inside you.”
Your back arches, pleasure crashing over you in waves as your orgasm hits and you squeeze him impossibly tight. “I need it- I need you to fill me up, Chris. So bad.”
He groans, his grip on you tightening as he thrusts harder, deeper, chasing his release. “F- fuck, baby, I’m gonna- ” His breath shudders, his movements getting sloppier as he buries himself as deep as he can, his body tensing.
A guttural moan tears from his lips as he spills inside you, holding you tight, his forehead dropping to your shoulder. His breathing is heavy, his body trembling slightly from the intensity of it, and he presses lazy kisses against your skin as he comes down.
“Shit,” he breathes, his arms wrapping around you, keeping you flush against him. “I swear, I’ll never get tired of this. Never get tired of you.”
You let out a soft, breathless laugh, running your fingers through his hair, still coming down from your own high.
Chris doesn’t move for a moment, still catching his breath, his body heavy and warm against yours. But then, as if something clicks in his mind, he shifts, gripping your hips with both hands.
Without warning, he pushes your hips up, angling them just enough to keep every drop of his cum inside you. You whimper at the sudden movement, your body still sensitive, your legs trembling from the aftershocks of pleasure.
“Chris- fuck.” you murmur, a dazed little laugh slipping from your lips, “what are you doing?”
His fingers press into your skin, his grip firm, possessive. His darkened blue eyes flick down to where you’re still connected, then back up to your face, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth.
“Making sure it stays,” he murmurs, voice rough, teasing but laced with something deeper, something almost primal.
Your breath catches. “I thought you didn’t want me to get pregnant.”
Chris doesn’t answer right away. Instead, he leans down, pressing kisses along your jaw, down the curve of your neck. His breath is warm against your skin, his lips lingering, his hands still keeping your hips in place.
“I never said that,” he finally murmurs, his voice husky, “maybe I like the idea more than I let on.”
Your heart stutters. Heat blooms in your chest, pooling low in your stomach again despite how spent you already are. Chris tilts his head, watching your reaction closely, his smirk deepening as he sees the way his words affect you.
“Don’t look at me like that, baby,” he teases, pressing another kiss to your collarbone. “You’re the one who begged me to cum inside you.”
Your breath hitches. “Yeah, but I didn’t think you actually wanted-”
Chris cuts you off with a slow roll of his hips, just enough to remind you he’s still inside you, still keeping everything right where he wants it. You gasp, your fingers gripping his arms.
“Don’t act so surprised,” he murmurs. “You know how fucking good it feels. How right it feels.” His lips graze your ear. “Tell me you don’t love it.”
You swallow hard, your pulse hammering. “I do,” you whisper.
Chris smirks against your skin, his hands tightening on your hips. “That’s my girl,” he breathes. “And who knows… maybe one day, I won’t just be filling you up for fun. Maybe one of these days I’ll fuck a baby into you.”
Your stomach flips, your whole body flushing at his words. Chris just chuckles, his expression dark and full of satisfaction as he kisses you again- slow, deep, claiming.
“But for now,” he murmurs, letting his weight settle over you again, his hands still holding you in place, “we’ll just make sure it sticks.”
Chris finally releases his hold on your hips, letting you relax into the mattress, though he doesn’t pull away just yet. He presses a few lingering kisses against your shoulder, his hands smoothing over your sides as he breathes you in.
“You good?” he murmurs, his voice warm and tender now, the teasing edge from before softened.
You nod, still catching your breath, your body pleasantly sore in the best way. “Yeah… just feel like I can’t move.”
Chris chuckles, rolling off of you but staying close. “Guess I did my job right, then.” He smirks, but before you can throw a pillow at him, he leans in, brushing his lips over your forehead. “C’mon, let’s get cleaned up.”
He helps you up, keeping an arm wrapped around your waist as you both make your way to the bathroom. He’s gentle as he runs a warm washcloth over your skin, pressing soft kisses along your jaw, your shoulders, wherever he can reach. It’s such a contrast from the heat of earlier, but it makes your heart swell all the same.
Once you’re both cleaned up, you slip on one of Chris’s hoodies- something oversized and soft- and climb into bed. Chris follows, pulling you close, his arms wrapped securely around you as he buries his face in your hair.
“Love you,” he mumbles sleepily, his lips brushing against your temple.
You smile, pressing a kiss to his chest. “Love you too, Chris.”
TWO MONTHS LATER
You groan, dropping your forehead against the kitchen counter as another wave of nausea rolls through you. “Ugh, I feel awful.”
Chris looks up from where he’s leaning against the fridge, brows furrowing with concern. “Still feeling sick, baby?”
You nod, rubbing your stomach with a frown. “Yeah… I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I keep feeling nauseous at the most random times. And I swear, I smelled coffee earlier, and it made me want to throw up.”
Chris winces, stepping closer and rubbing a hand up and down your back soothingly. “I’m so sorry, baby. Can I do anything?”
You shake your head, sighing. “I don’t even know what would help. It’s just been happening out of nowhere.”
Chris presses a kiss to the side of your head, his touch warm and comforting. “Maybe you just ate something bad? Or you’re stressed?”
“Maybe,” you mumble, but you’re not entirely convinced. “Are you sure the chicken last night was fully cooked?”
“I check it twice. It was.” Chris gives you a sympathetic look. “Tell you what- I’ll make you some tea, and then we can just chill on the couch, yeah? I’ll rub your back, we can watch whatever dumb reality show you wanna put on.”
That makes you smile a little, and you nod. “Okay. That sounds nice. Thank you baby.”
Chris grins, pressing another kiss to your forehead before heading to the kettle. “Anything for my girl.”
ONE WEEK LATER
You groan as you lean over the bathroom sink, splashing cold water on your face in a desperate attempt to shake off the lingering nausea. It’s been happening every morning now- like clockwork. And as much as you’d been hoping it was just a stomach bug or something that would pass, it wasn’t going anywhere.
“Baby?” Chris’s voice is groggy, laced with sleep as he steps into the bathroom, rubbing his eyes. “You okay?”
You let out a slow breath, gripping the edge of the counter. “Same as yesterday. And the day before that.”
Chris frowns, stepping closer, his hands settling on your waist as he looks you over. His touch is warm and grounding, but when his thumbs brush against your sides, you wince subconsciously.
Chris notices immediately, his brows drawing together. “Hey… why’d you flinch?”
You shake your head, still trying to wake up fully. “I didn’t-” But then his hands slide up a little higher, skimming under your hoodie, and the moment his thumbs brush against the curve of your breasts, you jolt.
Chris’s eyes widen. “Whoa. Okay. That was a reaction.”
You frown, stepping back slightly, your arms crossing over your chest. “They’ve just been… weirdly sensitive lately.”
Chris tilts his head, his gaze flicking down before his lips curl into the smallest smirk. “Not to mention…” His hands return to your sides, his touch slow, almost hesitant. “Baby, I swear to God, they look bigger. Like huge. It makes me so horny.”
You scoff. “Chris!”
“I’m serious!” He gives you a pointed look, stepping back just enough to take you in. “They’re… I don’t know, plumper? And you’ve been nauseous for over a week. You’re throwing up every morning. You don’t think…?”
You blink at him, brows furrowing. “Think what?”
Chris’s expression shifts- something between excitement and pure realization flickering across his face. He licks his lips, searching your eyes, almost as if he’s waiting for you to catch up.
“Baby,” he says slowly, carefully, “you don’t think you could be… pregnant?”
The words hang between you, heavy and thick in the quiet morning air. Your stomach twists- but not from nausea this time.
Your lips part slightly, a small laugh slipping out- almost disbelieving. “Chris, there’s no way…” But then, as you say it, the last few weeks flash through your mind. The exhaustion. The cravings. The nausea. The sensitivity. The way you haven’t used a condom with him in months and he hasn’t been pulling out.
Chris watches you closely, his smirk fading into something softer, more serious. His hands settle on your hips again, thumbs rubbing slow circles. “Baby,” he murmurs, voice quieter now, “when’s the last time you had your period?”
Your stomach drops. Your mind races as you try to remember, but the more you think about it, the more your chest tightens. You should’ve had it by now. You always keep track. But with everything going on, you hadn’t even noticed.
Chris sees the realization hit you. His hands tighten just slightly, his eyes locked onto yours. “Shit,” you whisper.
Chris lets out a breathy chuckle, shaking his head. “Yeah. Shit.”
You look up at him, heart pounding, eyes wide. “Chris… what if I am?”
He’s silent for a moment. Just looking at you. And then, slowly, his lips curl into a grin.
“Guess we should find out.”
Chris doesn’t waste a second. The moment the realization fully settles between you, he’s already moving. He grabs his phone and wallet off the nightstand, shoving his feet into the closest pair of sneakers.
“I’ll be right back,” he says, pressing a quick, firm kiss to your forehead before darting toward the front door.
You blink, still in shock. “Wait- Chris, where are you-”
But he’s already gone.
You stand there for a moment, your heartbeat thudding in your ears. This has to be a joke, right? There’s no way this is actually happening. But as you place a hand over your stomach, the reality starts creeping in.
A few minutes later, you hear the front door swing open again, followed by the unmistakable crinkle of plastic bags.
“Alright, baby, let’s do this!” Chris’s voice is practically beaming as he jogs back into the bedroom, his arms full of pregnancy tests. You stare in disbelief as he drops multiple boxes onto the bed, some falling onto the floor in the process.
“Chris,” you say slowly, eyes widening. “What the fuck is this?”
“Options,” he says simply, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “I got every brand they had. Digital ones, line ones, ones that apparently have smiley faces-” He pauses, flipping a box over before tossing it onto the pile. “I didn’t know there were this many kinds, honestly, but we’re covering all bases.”
You shake your head, staring at the sheer amount of tests in front of you. “Ten tests, Chris?”
“At least ten,” he corrects, grinning.
You narrow your eyes at him, crossing your arms. “Why are you so happy about this?”
Chris hesitates for half a second before letting out a short laugh, scratching the back of his neck. “Honestly? I don’t know. I just… am.”
You search his face, expecting to see panic or nerves, but all you find is pure excitement- like he wants this. Like the idea of you possibly carrying his baby is something he’s already embracing.
Your stomach twists, but not in a bad way. It’s terrifying and overwhelming, but with the way he’s looking at you, it also feels… oddly okay.
Chris claps his hands together, bringing you back to reality. “Alright, let’s go. Go pee on some sticks.”
You snort despite yourself. “Some?”
“All of them,” he corrects, already scooping up the tests into his arms. “We need solid confirmation, baby. I need a goddamn unanimous decision from these things.”
Shaking your head, you exhale sharply, running a hand through your hair before turning toward the bathroom. “This is insane.”
Chris follows right behind you, grinning. “This is science.”
You roll your eyes, but as you close the bathroom door behind you, Chris leans against the sink, watching you with nothing but warmth in his gaze.
“Whatever happens,” he murmurs, his voice softer now, “we’ll figure it out together, okay?”
Your chest tightens, and you nod, swallowing the lump in your throat. “Okay.”
“Wait! Let me see what they say first. Don’t pee on anything!” Chris rips open one of the boxes with the same energy he probably had during his high school finals. He pulls out the instructions, unfolds them with an exaggerated flourish, and clears his throat.
“Alright,” he announces, squinting at the paper. “Step one: Remove the test from the wrapper.”
You snatch a test from one of the open boxes and rip it open with ease. “Done.”
Chris nods approvingly, scanning the next step. “Step two: Hold the absorbent tip in your urine stream for five seconds. Or dip it in a cup of urine for twenty seconds.”
You give him a flat look. “Absorbent tip?”
“Hey, I’m just reading what it says,” Chris says, holding up his hands in defense. He glances down again, then smirks. “Oh- this part’s important: Make sure you don’t pee on the result window. We need a clear reading, baby.”
You roll your eyes. “Thanks for the groundbreaking information, Chris.”
“Just looking out for accuracy.”
You shake your head, but your heart is thudding in your chest. This is actually happening.
Chris notices your hesitation and softens slightly, stepping closer. “You okay?”
You let out a slow breath. “Yeah. Just… nervous.”
Chris nods, setting the instructions down on the counter before placing his hands on your hips. He leans down, pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. “No matter what happens, we’re in this together. Got it?”
You nod, exhaling against his chest. “Got it.”
He smiles, giving you a small squeeze before stepping back. “Alright, go do your thing. I’ll be right here, being incredibly supportive and not at all annoying.”
You snort. “Mhm.”
Chris gasps dramatically. “Wow. So much doubt for the man who just spent a ridiculous amount of money on pregnancy tests for you.”
Shaking your head, you grab the cup from the counter- because there’s no way you’re risking peeing on your own hand in the middle of a life-altering moment- and step toward the toilet. “Okay, turnaround now.”
Chris throws his hands up. “I literally fucked this baby into you?!”
“We don’t know if there’s a baby yet!” You roll your eyes but do what needs to be done, filling the cup and carefully dipping the first test. Then another. And another. You cycle through each one, following the ridiculous variety of instructions. Five seconds for one. Twenty seconds for another. One where you had to cap it immediately and lay it on a flat surface.
Chris stands by the counter, eyes wide as he watches you line up ten tests in a perfect row.
“Jesus Christ,” he mutters. “That’s a lot of science happening at once.”
You let out a breath, setting the last test down. “Now what?”
Chris grabs one of the boxes, scanning the fine print. “Now we wait.”
You swallow hard, wiping your hands on a towel before gripping the edge of the sink. “How long?”
Chris squints at the instructions. “Three minutes.”
Three minutes.
Three minutes to find out if your whole world is about to change.
Chris must sense your nerves because he steps up behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. He rests his chin on your shoulder, his lips brushing your jaw. “I can set a timer. Or we can just stare at them aggressively until something happens.”
You let out a breathy laugh, leaning back against him. “Okay… let’s do it.”
Chris’s phone is already in his hand before you even say anything. He holds it up, pressing record with a grin.
“For our future kid,” he says, his voice full of barely contained excitement.
You raise an eyebrow at him. “You don’t even know if it’s positive yet.”
Chris smirks, shaking his head. “I have a feeling, baby.”
Your stomach twists as you reach for the first test. Your fingers tremble slightly, and you can feel Chris’s anticipation radiating off of him. With a deep breath, you flip it over.
Two lines.
Positive.
Your heart stops.
Chris lets out a sharp inhale, but before either of you can fully process it, you reach for the second test.
Positive.
The third.
Positive.
Every. Single. One.
Chris stares at them for half a second before a wide grin spreads across his face. “Holy shit.” His phone lowers slightly as he turns to look at you, his eyes shining. “Baby- holy shit!”
Before you can react, he grabs you, lifting you off your feet and spinning you around. You gasp, gripping his shoulders as a laugh bubbles out of you, your nerves momentarily forgotten.
“Chris!” You giggle, clinging to him as he twirls you.
“I knew it,” he exclaims, setting you down just enough to crash his lips against yours. The kiss is heated, desperate, but full of so much love that your chest tightens.
Then, before you even realize it, tears start slipping down your cheeks. You pull back slightly, your hand flying to your stomach as a sob escapes you.
“Oh my God,” you whisper, voice shaking. “Our baby is in my stomach.”
Chris freezes, his hands still gripping your waist. He stares at you like he’s just now fully comprehending it, like the reality of it all is truly sinking in. His lips part slightly, his breath hitching.
“Our baby,” he murmurs, and the way he says it- so full of awe, of love- makes your heart ache.
But then, almost instantly, his entire demeanor shifts. His grip tightens, his eyes darting around the room like his brain is moving a mile a minute.
“Shit. I need to tell my mom. And my dad. And my brothers.” He steps back, running a hand through his hair, pacing slightly. “What about your family? Should we call them first? And the apartment- fuck, we need to start looking at places with an extra room. Or at least be ready for when she grows up- ”
You blink. “She?”
Chris stops, looking at you dead serious. “I don’t know, baby, I just know. I have this gut feeling that my new babygirl is growing inside you right now.”
Your heart clenches at the sheer certainty in his voice.
But then he’s spiraling again. “Oh God, we don’t have anything for a baby. I need to research cribs- what’s the safest crib? And strollers- shit, what’s a good stroller brand? I don’t know anything about strollers! And- fuck, baby, we’re twenty-one. I haven’t even married you yet!”
He turns to you, panic written all over his face now, and for the first time ever, you’re the calm one.
You step forward, reaching for his hands, squeezing them tightly. “Chris, baby, breathe.”
His chest rises and falls rapidly, but he listens, taking a deep inhale as his eyes lock onto yours.
“It’s okay,” you murmur, pressing his hands against your stomach. “The way you reacted tells me all I need to know. You’re gonna be an amazing father.”
Chris swallows hard, his panic giving way to something softer, more vulnerable. His fingers flex against your stomach, like he’s already trying to connect with the tiny life growing inside you.
“You think so?” he asks, voice quieter now.
You smile, cupping his face. “I know so.”
Chris exhales shakily, closing his eyes for a moment before leaning forward, resting his forehead against yours. “I love you,” he murmurs.
“I love you too.”
And in that moment, standing there in the tiny bathroom with ten positive pregnancy tests lined up on the counter, everything feels exactly as it should be.

⏦゚♡︎ SEUNGHYUN (T.O.P) AS YOUR HUSBAND
୨ৎ pairing: husband!seunghyun x fem reader
୨ৎ genre: fluff! with mild sex talk
୨ৎ from myeong: hi!!! super duper excited to take this request since he’s been my love since I was a very young girl! have always looked up to him and I’m so happy to be writing for him!! and he’s back?! wooo!! please enjoy this! x
he’s going to be a very caring, attentive, and thoughtful husband. I don’t care what anyone else says about him, he’s going to be the bestest husband and do all that he can to make you happy.
is he perfect? nope. not even close to it and no one is perfect but what he does is try and he shows you that he cares and cares enough to work hard to keep the relationship as healthy as it can be.
sometimes isn’t clingy because he wants you to be the one to break first. he definitely enjoys watching you run to him for a hug, kiss, or something else.
shy!!!! he’s not shy all the time and likes to be the dominant one in the relationship of course and in a very non toxic way but when he does feel shy it’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen a man do.
“what? you think this suit looks good on me? oh.. it’s what they told me to wear and honestly I wasn’t sure if it was too much.. but since you like it—”
he won’t finish because he’s looking down at the ground cheeks slightly pink from feeling a bit shy and embarrassed by how you keep staring at him and complimenting him. sounds weird for him hm? well! you’re just that special girl to him. I mean come on he married you!! he’s a different man now.
is very overly protective over you. will do all that he can to protect you and your relationship. since you are now a married couple he takes it to another level of wanting you and him protected as a couple.
“would you like to try this new dish with me? I can make it! or.. maybe.. we can cook it together?”
please cook with him because he secretly loves it and falls more in love with you watching how you cut up vegetables and the look on your pretty face when you’re concentrated and working. so cute
seunghyun is very obsessed with morning sex especially now as a married couple he just feels it’s needed and if you both don’t have time in the morning then expect before bedtime sex.
he loves trying new things with you. when he first brought up pulling hair.. it wasn’t yours. it was his. you pulled on his soft black locks and he felt this spark inside of him that he’s never felt before.
if it was a long night of sex he purposely gets up before you and makes you breakfast but not in bed since he’ll kindly drag you out of bed and have you sit at the table with him but you always end up sitting in his lap which he enjoys more of course.
“you’re such a pretty girl did you know that?”
“I.. love you a lot. thank you for loving me despite everything that I’ve been through. thank you.”
he’s a cautious husband and never wants you to feel hurt or anything close to that. he’ll do all that he can to make sure you’re happy, comfortable, and safe. he’s careful with his words especially when you two get into small arguments. he’s learned from the past on what not to do.
seunghyun is very emotional and he’s not afraid to show that with you. when he was younger it was a different story but he’s older now and has been through things that has shown him it’s okay to show such emotions. he trusts you as his wife and always cries in your arms if he desperately needs it.
expect movie nights with him!! which end in not watching the movie at all and just talking to each other about the weirdest topics or space of course.
will take so many pictures of you posing next to the moon specially the full moon since it’s his favorite! he finds it beautiful just like you. cries
nights in are his favorite but if you want to go out then he’ll do that for you. he’ll enjoy going on walks with you while eating ice cream his most favorite sweets. his free hand will hold yours tightly.
craves you in every way possible. he’ll need to kiss you often and stroke your hair or pull you closer to him and his larger frame. he enjoys how much shorter you are and constantly brings it up.

MILLLLAAAAAA I have not known peace since reading this
First of all, the tension. The history. The forbidden desire just simmering under the surface, waiting to explode. Every single moment had me gripping my phone like it owed me money.
The fact that they had all this unresolved emotion and then bam—thrown into the most intimate scene imaginable??
This was SO intense, so raw, so emotional—and the way it all came back to them in the end??? Like, she wrote the script for him. She was always going to find her way back to him.
I am never recovering from this. EVER I am crying in the club, hiding in the bathroom, sobbing into my pillow. okay favorite parts timeeeee - and this is my live reaction so excuse every emotional rollercoaster I hit here....
-> WAHHHHHH FJSDKJSDKLJF already killing me goddamnit He closed it and took a moment before rereading the first page, with the name left blank. It could only be you. That was the only explanation for getting a script without the name of the author on it. And there was no way the scene he had just read, so familiar, so intimate, could be coincidental. Or could be written by anyone else. He grabbed his phone and sent a message to his agent, unable to contain his annoyance.that’s fucked up, Will*Will calling* -> OKAYY I SEE HOW IT IS YOU WANT ME TO CRY ALREADY HUH? “It’s… damn, Will, it’s our story, ok? Or a part of it, I don't know. Anyway I can’t play this. Can’t play me.”
-> WHAAAA I CANT DO THIS I CANT BUT I WILL IM SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP He didn’t know how Joel used to hold you firmly against the mattress, hands on your hips, lapping at your cunt to make you come again. Because he always wanted more, always wanted to give you more. He didn’t know that pushing his cock in you was the sweetest, most intense sensation he’d ever felt. Even now, years later, he never felt something like that again. Will didn't know any of that, had no idea how intense it had been. Because the only thing Joel told him was “you don’t bring her up. Ever.” -> she is so relatable omfg I would be doing the same You knew what he looked like, you watched all his movies. In need of his voice, his smile, his gestures, his laugh. In need of him. But seeing him for real- not through a screen but in the same room, not some character but Joel, the man you loved more than anyone else, the man you would still call “the love of your life” in your thoughts -, was breathtaking, almost surreal. -> SOBBING EXCUSE ME SIR? WTF YOU DOING SHAKING HER OFF LIKE THAT NO SIR NO SIR So you approached him, without overthinking it, but as soon as he saw you he gave you a subtle but firm shake of his head. The message was crystal clear - he didn’t want to talk to you, didn’t even want you around. It stopped your hesitant steps in their tracks, and the shy smile you had the courage to build instantly disappeared, and your gaze fell to the floor. Trying to control your breathing, to fight back the tears you felt welling up.
-> my good goddddd im dying over here i am not okay sos help me He shook his head to think about something else and to resist the urge to take the script out of the drawer. Instead, he took a sleeping pill and went to bed.
->idk Milla, i think you write the most beautiful things and you really wanna make my heart fall out of my ribcage. The writing was pure and vivid and as he was reading your point of view he felt like his ribcage was suddenly too small to contain his heartbeats.
-> ooooof THIS IS BUILDING UP OMG OMG OMG SMDFKSDA “Who do you have in mind for the female lead?” he asked finally. “Well… me,” you answered, without lowering your gaze that time.
-> stab me it might hurt less than this In tears in your car, your boxes in the back, eyes fixed on the rearview mirror where Joel’s silhouette was getting smaller and smaller. Until you could no longer discern his clenched fists, his stone face. Until he was only a small dot, until he wasn't in your life anymore.
THE ENTIRE INTIMATE SCENE HOLY SMOKES IM DIZZYYYY
-> I have no thoughts just thots my brain empty but this is delicious “I can feel you clench on my fingers, you’re gonna be a good girl and come again for me?” he asked, before swirling his tongue over your clit again. “Thought about it so often,”
AND THE END AHHH IM SOBBING
Close-up

a/n: this is written for @jolapeno 's dear-uary challenge (prompt here) thank you for this challenge Jo, and it was such a cool prompt 😍😍😍 Thank you @aurorawritestoescape for beta-ing and for reading this one soooo many times 🥹😘💕 @/saradika-graphics for the dividers 🙏
I sent you a script, tell me what you think tell me more just read it, trust me
The informal messages between Joel and his agent, Will, were usual. They had known each other for a long time, they were friends, and Will had always found him perfect roles.
So as always, Joel trusted him- even though the first page of the script, delivered to him by a courier, was not completely filled, making him wonder why.
In the evening he put his cup on the coffee table, and lay down on the sofa, a soft light lamp behind his head. With his back leaning against the cushions, shirt, jeans, bare feet. Always the same ritual, always the same setup, when he was about to read a new script.
He started reading it, taking a sip of coffee from time to time, until his heart leapt in his chest as he got to a particular scene.
He closed it and took a moment before rereading the first page, with the name left blank.
It could only be you.
That was the only explanation for getting a script without the name of the author on it. And there was no way the scene he had just read, so familiar, so intimate, could be coincidental. Or could be written by anyone else. He grabbed his phone and sent a message to his agent, unable to contain his annoyance.
that’s fucked up, Will
*Will calling*
“Yeah,” he grumbled as he picked up, without even trying to hide his feelings, then he got up to pace the room.
“Look, I know what you’re thinking, Joel. But she’s a great writer and actress, you know it. We’ve been looking for a good drama movie for a long time. This one’s perfect.”
“It’s… damn, Will, it’s our story, ok? Or a part of it, I don't know. Anyway I can’t play this. Can’t play me.”
“Joel, listen to me and think about it. No one would know. And it can be therapeutic.”
“Thera… jesus, you gotta be fucking kidding me.”
Joel sighed as he hung up and threw his phone on the couch.
Why the fuck would Will do something so stupid and inconsiderate, giving him a script from you?
At the beginning of his career, his agent sent him one project for a movie in which you were expected to play too. Joel confessed that you two had been together, and added “you don’t bring her up. Ever,” to end the conversation. So Will never did.
Until today.
He sat back down on the sofa, resting his forehead on his fist, resisting the urge to throw the cup of coffee across the room. He was surprised by his own reaction, his nervousness. His anger. Barely able to control his emotions, he felt so weak, like his heart was about to tear in two again, swallowing him whole. He was affected, years later, as if it happened yesterday.
So, sure, a long time ago he asked Will not to talk about you anymore. But they might have been friends, his agent might have known about you, but he didn’t know the details. Didn’t know how profoundly the break up had hurt Joel, how much you had gotten under his skin, back then.
And in Will's defense, it wasn't like you never saw each other again, at parties or ceremonies, under Will’s gaze who thought that it wasn't that bad, after all. It was years after your separation, now having the job that both of you dreamed about, talked about, sweaty young adults in a messy bed where he had just made you come.
Will wasn't aware that it was actually that bad.
Because he didn’t know the way Joel looked at you, when you were together. He didn't know how sweet and caring Joel was with you. He didn’t know how much he loved wrapping his arms around you, and having you curl up against him.
He didn’t know how Joel used to hold you firmly against the mattress, hands on your hips, lapping at your cunt to make you come again.
Ever.”
The first time you saw each other again, was in a place full of actors, agents, writers and directors.
You couldn't believe he was here, a few steps away from you. Of course, you knew you'd cross paths one day, but suddenly he was closer to you than he had been in years and you felt your heart racing. He was even more handsome than he was back then, if it was even possible. You knew what he looked like, you watched all his movies.
So you approached him, without overthinking it, but as soon as he saw you he gave you a subtle but firm shake of his head.
If you had looked up right away, you would have seen guilt sweep through his eyes. But when you finally raised your head, seconds later, he was on the other side of the room. The only thing you could see was his back, which he undoubtedly presented to you deliberately, as if his glare hadn’t been enough to make a point.
All evening, you struggled to keep conversations going, to concentrate, to think of anything other than his dark stare, furrowed brows, and the way he shook his head at you without any hesitation. For years, you had been wondering what he had thought of you, after those years. You just got the most brutal answer to that question.
The second time, a journalist had done some research and discovered that you attended the same university, graduated the same year. He took the opportunity to bring the subject as Joel was walking by. He probably hadn't seen you amongst all those people, because you were sure he would have gone the other way, otherwise. You didn’t have much choice than to kiss, feigning a friendly closeness that had never existed between you. You had been lovers, then strangers. No in-between.
His scent, so familiar, invaded your nostrils. He always wore the same perfume, the one you had given him for a birthday. It surprised you but you didn't have much time to think about it, as he ended the hug quickly.
Joel's eyes were shifty when you looked at him, a fake smile plastered on his lips. Which could probably seem real for people who didn't know him, but not for you. Not even years later. You answered the journalist's questions as best as you could, until Joel leaned towards to give you a hug that was as neutral as his eyes on you, cutting off the questions. Then he walked away, leaving you facing the journalist who was delighted with the exclusive material and oblivious to the unspoken scene that had happened in front of him.
Joel thought back to those two evenings, after he’d hung up on Will and before he’d put the script away in a drawer. He needed to regain control of his emotions, and to do that he couldn't continue reading your words, at least for now.
He went to the kitchen for a fresh cup of coffee, and despite him trying, his mind wandered to lazy mornings where he would get up to make two coffees and then come back to the bedroom. He’d put them on the nightstand, before cuddling up to your warm body under the sheets, hearing you moan gently. Sometimes you would fall asleep in one of his shirts, and he loved smelling his scent on you, as if you were marked by him, somehow. It always made him feral, possessive. He didn’t know he had that side in him, until you.
You'd always grab his hand to kiss the tip of his fingers, before sliding them along your folds, feeling his cock harden against your ass and your pussy starting to drool. He would make you come with his digits, his lips against your ear, caged in his arms, then he'd slide his cock between your thighs and your soaked folds, just in time for your last spasms to squeeze his tip. Sometimes he would keep fucking you like that, lying behind you, and sometimes he would roll you on your back, taking his place between your thighs. Until he’d come, grunting, growling, his hair disheveled, and you often fall back asleep, his cock softening inside you, the cups of coffee cold on the nightstand.
He shook his head to think about something else and to resist the urge to take the script out of the drawer. Instead, he took a sleeping pill and went to bed.
The next morning he woke up groggy. He put on a t-shirt and sweatpants, poured himself a cup of coffee, and put aside his good resolutions. He didn’t need the script to think about you, anyway. Time never healed his wounds, he never forgot you or the pain he had felt when you’d left. His thoughts were always hurtful, possessive and raw.
Even years after the break up he couldn’t help but think about you when his wrist fucked his shaft. Even sometimes when he was in a relationship. He hated himself for that but couldn’t help it. He missed your cunt, your hands, everything. But he couldn’t accept the idea that he was simply missing you.
He always thought that your bodies were made for each other, and you always breathed the same words. He knew you meant it, his cock buried in you, his eyes fixed on yours rolling to the back of your head and his ears filled with your moans, barely able to tell his name.
Until it was over.
He knew it could happen, you always told him that you'd have to leave for California one day in hope to live your dream, that you couldn’t do it in Texas. But he brushed it off, not wanting to believe it, not wanting to think about it. He hid it in a corner of his mind, until he had no other choice but to face reality. Until it hit him. That day, he realized that he wouldn’t get to wrap his arms around you for the rest of his life.
He lay down on the couch and started to read. And the more he read the script, the more he realized that you wrote only the moments that had really happened.
The story, background, was slightly different, probably so that no one could ever make a connection to the two of you. But the moments were real, and it made him dizzy.
You wrote that dance in your small apartment, first for the both of you, that you rented after graduation. You worked as a waitress and Joel was a barista, and you two went to as many castings in Austin as you could, dreaming every day about being actors.
That night you put on some music and danced. He kissed your hand and looked at you. He felt warm. He loved you so much that his heart was aching. He made you spin and you laughed, and it was like a spring breeze in the apartment, filling his lungs with fresh air. When you stopped twirling you brushed his hair and then kissed him.
The writing was pure and vivid and as he was reading your point of view he felt like his ribcage was suddenly too small to contain his heartbeats.
Over the next two days, he took the script out of the drawer regularly. Slowly touching the paper that already bore the marks of repeated handling, him lying on his couch, taking his time before opening it.
He read it all, and the sweetness, the sensitivity with which you described your moments moved him profoundly. The person he had loved, cherished, cradled in his arms, wrote that.
All the intimacy, the love and care you both felt for each other were there. For several years he made everything to forget the good moments, to focus only on the ending to feed his bitterness, but the fact was that there had been so many beautiful moments. And he could read them, feel them again. Couldn’t deny them anymore.
Your words were so familiar, so true to your love story, that his anger slowly gave some place to something else: nostalgia. Finally allowing himself to miss you and what you two had. He was still wondering why you had written the script and sent it to him, but now he was ready to learn the answer. And he wanted to look you in the eye when he’d ask you this question. But he wasn't sure how he’d behave, when you met. Didn't know if bitterness or nostalgia would fill his heart.
So after two days of silence, Joel picked up his phone and sent Will a message.
Ok, set up a meeting
Because of your busy schedules you could meet only in two weeks. The delay was driving him crazy.
He made a copy of the script, his copy, which he filled with annotations, dates. Underlining moments or words erased from his mind, out of grief, anger or self-protection.
He got hard several times, while reading some scenes. And sometimes anger would come back to creep into his thoughts, whispering to him that you never should have sent it to him, when your separation had been so painful for him.
And Will was not the only one Joel said “you don’t…. ever.”
To you, it’d been “If you leave… you don't call me. Ever.”
That morning, as he got used to doing several times a day, he grabbed his copy of the script. He had handled it so much that the sheets were already damaged, some pages peppered with annotations.
As he was reading, he remembered how you had loved to run your fingers over his jeans when you were watching a movie on your little couch. Playing with him, your hand going higher and higher, just to hear his breathing slow down, just to hear him murmur a needy and low “sweetheart, what are you doing?”, making you smile widely. Knowing that he would manhandle you two seconds later to be under him, pulling your panties to the side and pushing his thick length into you. He remembered the feeling of your breasts against his chest, how you whimpered in his neck while he was fucking you hard and deep.
He was nervous the morning of the meeting. He took a shower, hoping to get rid of the fatigue and headache from the lack of sleep the night before. He put on a shirt and jeans and grabbed his car keys, put on some music when he started to drive, trying to change his mind, but it didn’t work, he was still anxious. He parked near the building. Once inside he found the meeting room and knocked on the door. He heard you say “come in” and took a deep breath before twisting the handle.
You were alone, sitting in a chair, and he quickly pushed aside the thought of how pretty you were. Joel immediately noticed your hands, pressed together nervously, before you stood up to greet him. He stopped when you walked towards him and your smile faded like that time.
“Wait,” he said, his hand raised in front of him, as he was trying to control his emotions. “I just… Why did you send it to me?” he added without any preamble, his tone harsher than he intended.
“Oh… ok. Straight to the point, huh?” you said, sitting back down, and removing an imaginary crease on your sleeve, eyes lowered to the desk.
“I never…” you started to say, before stopping and taking a breath. “I think I needed to write our story down.”
Joel’s sigh stopped you. You tried to keep a low and calm tone, not to show your anxiety. You knew that facing him wouldn't be easy. He had given you a glimpse of his coldness after the situation with that journalist.
“Joel, please, listen to me.”
You looked at him, and yet you had no idea how his name, escaping your lips, tore his heart apart. He never thought he’d hear it again, and the familiar intonation made him shiver.
“I honestly think it would make a great movie,” you said. “And you must think so too, since you’re here.”
“I don’t know why I’m here, honestly. Except that I want to know why.”
“Would you have preferred to discover it once the movie was out, your role played by someone else?”
His gaze on you, dark and possessive, made you freeze.
“No, I really wouldn’t have appreciated our story, my life, played by someone else, Jesus,” he growled.
He put his hands on his hips, a stance you’d seen him do dozens of times before, searching for words, and then he sat in a chair, pinching the place just above his nose with two fingers. Trying to stop the headache that was threatening to come again. It had started off badly, and he knew it was his fault. He was too stubborn, too cold.
“Who do you have in mind for the female lead?” he asked finally.
“Well… me,” you answered, without lowering your gaze that time.
“You?”
A part of him, that he thought was gone the day you had left, woke up with a groan. He couldn't imagine the movie being made, you playing... well, you, and him being played by another man. It was unthinkable and made his jealousy and possessiveness stir painfully in his chest.
Unlike you, he hadn't watched your movies. He tried though, when he saw your face on a movie poster for the first time. He went to the cinema, but he walked out of the theater the moment that actor leaned toward you to kiss you. He couldn't stand to see someone kiss you, when he couldn't do it anymore.
“I’m the best person to play this character, aren’t I?” you said softly, interrupting his thoughts. “Just like you’re the best one to play the male lead. Look, I know you’ve been rumored for a role like this for years. I know you’re not opposed to it. So why not?”
“Because it’s not about playing a role here,” he sighed. “It’s playing in front of a camera, things we said, did, years ago. Intimate things that belong to us.”
“I changed some things, no one has to know it’s autobiographical,” you started to say, before he quickly cut you off.
“I know it is. And so do you.” He walked over to the window to stare at the buildings in front of him. “When you leave someone, you don’t do that. It’s unhealthy,” he said, almost softly. Resigned. He turned to you before adding, “Why stir up something that died years ago?”
He didn't expect to face the sadness that clouded your face, and once again guilt seized him. You were sad, upset, and despite the bitterness he’d been feeling for years, he didn’t want to hurt you.
“Joel… I didn’t leave because I didn’t love you anymore,” you answered, standing up and walking towards him. You stopped a few steps away to respect his boundaries, before you'd see his body stiff. “I left because I had to follow my dream, and it wasn’t working in Texas. And you wanted to stay in Austin, to take care of Tommy. We ended it because a long-distance relationship would have been too painful, because I didn’t want us to be unhappy, barely seeing each other, not being able to feel each other often enough. So I left. And I told you all that. You knew it, you knew why.”
You took a breath, after formulating what was oppressing your heart, waiting for him to answer.
“Playing with feelings is dangerous,” he said in a low voice.
“This isn’t a game, Joel. I'm not playing. I’m sure it would make a great movie. And maybe we need to express all that, even years later.”
“Do you remember what I told you that day? The last day?”
“Of course, I do. You told me not to call you. You told me that if we had to meet again… then it would happen. Well, it's happening, Joel.”
He looked at you, confused, and headed towards the door, brushing past you lightly as he passed.
Just before leaving, without looking at you, he said in a low voice, “my agent will give you my answer in a few days.”
Once the door closed behind Joel, you remembered the day you left.
In tears in your car, your boxes in the back, eyes fixed on the rearview mirror where Joel’s silhouette was getting smaller and smaller. Until you could no longer discern his clenched fists, his stone face. Until he was only a small dot, until he wasn't in your life anymore.
At that moment you were wondering if you had made a mistake. You kept wondering for years. To be honest, you still weren’t sure you made the right choice that day. You followed your dream and succeeded, but it cost you the love of your life.
You didn't know what to think about the meeting. It could have been worse, he could have left after two minutes of being there, you knew it. You could have said more, too, but you didn't want Joel to withdraw more into himself. And for sure, you couldn't have told him that you always thought of him when you were in someone’s else’s arms. That you tried not to let jealousy invade you when you thought of his personal life, knowing that you had no right to be. You gave up on that when you had left.
You knew what he thought, how he reacted. Now he needed time to process everything, and you just had to wait for his agent to contact you. You couldn't do more.
Joel got to his car in a blur. He realized where he was only sitting behind the wheel, too many emotions swirling in his head. Years without seeing you and it had gone by at the speed of light. He blamed himself for being cold, blamed himself for not being cold enough, and he was even more lost than before he saw you. He started to drive, the feeling of having mishandled things weighing more and more on his shoulders.
He took another shower when he got home, as if it could wash off his remorse and regrets, the words exchanged playing over and over in his mind.
“Joel… I didn’t leave because I didn’t love you anymore.”
“I had to follow my dream. You wanted to stay in Austin. To take care of Tommy.”
“You knew it, you knew why.”
Did he really start to believe that the events had happened differently, after you left? Had he really done it, to the point of omitting certain things, because he needed someone to blame, to keep moving forward?
Had he really been that guy? Blaming you when there was no one to blame, just life and the choices that go with it, that we all have to do?
Had he really denied for years that you had left with a broken heart, too? That he had told you to never call him, after those wonderful years together? He felt like he was waking up with a monstrous hangover, and guilt gripped him. Truth is he let you down, and reality was hitting him hard.
Because you were right, you didn’t leave just like that. He didn’t want to acknowledge it for years, kept sweeping it under the rug, but deep down he didn’t forget it.
And you were right, he hadn’t been able to prioritize your relationship. Couldn’t prioritize himself either. He had always been protective of his brother, but it reached another level when he came back to Texas after being dismissed. Tommy wasn't the same, and Joel knew that he would have constantly wondered if his brother was okay if he had left for California with you. Worried that he could be in jail after a fight, with no one to bail him out. Or that he could be drunk in an alley, alone, spending the night there. Or worse.
“I can’t leave Tommy here alone, with all his drinking and partying,” he told you, expression determined.
“But you need to think about your future, our future too, Joel,” you replied desperately.
Joel had probably hoped that you wouldn’t have left, that you’d have chosen him, until the end. And you probably hoped the same thing, too.
Right person, wrong time. Fucking sad, but so banal.
So to forget that he was as responsible for the breakup as much as you were, he let his pain turn into anger, and he never let nostalgia set in, or his feelings show up.
And everything blew up when you sent him that script and he started reading it. It was impossible to continue to deny the obvious, to keep thinking that his feelings were stronger than yours and that’s why you had left. It was impossible to forget that he had told you, “If you leave… you don't call me. Ever.” That he was the one who had cut everything off, once and for all. To protect himself, of course. But still.
So once you were gone, he did what he had to do, he took care of Tommy. Except that he started going to bars with him, at night. Drinking less than him, but still way too much. He took sleeping pills when he was obsessed with your absence, tired of squeezing your pillow way too tight in his fist, his jaw clenched with anger. He moved to a new neighborhood because he couldn't stand living in that apartment anymore where everything reminded him of you.
When they were children and then teenagers, Joel and Tommy’s father taught them to work with their hands, and it helped them to find jobs on construction sites. And that he finally pulled himself together and helped Tommy the way he had to. It took him months, but he did it, and his parents would be proud of him, of them, if they saw their sons.
He worked hard, kept doing castings when his work allowed it, and eventually it paid off, even if it took time.
He thought about it all, and realized he needed to see you again before deciding on the movie. Needed to behave normally, to let go of his mask. So he asked his agent your number, then texted you:
it’s Joel. Are you still in LA? I have some questions about the script can we meet again? I am. When do you wanna meet? tomorrow night, my place? I’ll cook Sure!
He took a deep breath as he sent you his address. He let his emotions take over on purpose, to dispel the bitter taste in his mouth since you saw each other. Now he had to trust them.
The next day he started to cook during the afternoon, the dish that he hoped was still one of your favorite. He knowingly chose to invite you over to his place, to keep his mind occupied at least while he was busy in the kitchen.
Once the dish was in the oven, he did a running session on his treadmill and showered.
Anything to keep his mind busy.
You arrived right on time, a bottle of wine in hand.
“You still like the white?” you asked.
He did. Some things never changed.
As you approached the kitchen it smelled so good that you stopped there.
“Still one of your favorite meals?” he asked.
It was.
You tried not to show that you were moved. Acts of service had always been his way of showing that he cared, and you weren’t expecting that when you showed up.
You sat down on a high stool in the kitchen and he opened the bottle of wine. You had a few sips, silently. Neither of you really knew what to say, at first. Then everything set into place, naturally, instinctively. A little shyly at first, bringing up things from your respective pasts, or present. You asked him how Tommy was doing, and he told you he was fine, that he was engaged to a woman named Maria and that they were going to be parents soon. You were happy for Tommy, sincerely. You had always liked him.
Joel was trying to act normally, to not pay too much attention to the ease with which you were chatting. How easily he opened up to you, telling you about his years in Austin, then his first ones in LA. His first roles, his doubts.
He was glancing at your hands when you weren’t looking at him. At your hair.
He loved to see your eyes shine when you were talking about something that was important to you.
But above all, he loved to see them sparkle the first time he made you smile, that evening. It hit him, how much he missed it. Making you smile.
His emotions were so familiar that his heart was beating a little too fast, like a horse freed from its reins.
And suddenly he wondered how he had been able to spend so many years without you by his side, when you had always been his sunshine, liberating his grumpy, reserved nature.
A part of his brain told him that he was smiling a little too much, but he felt more alive during those moments with you than he hadn’t been in so long.
Whether in a relationship or not.
And then he felt the atmosphere change, felt that you got nervous, an impression confirmed when you began to scratch your thumb. A habit that dated back years ago, and he'd always take you in his arms, kiss your thumb and tell you that he was there and that everything would be okay. Today, for the first time he couldn’t do all that.
“Are you ok?” he nevertheless allowed himself to ask.
“Yeah, it’s just… listen, I know you wanted to ask me about the script, but ehm... there’s something you need to know.” You took a deep breath before adding “there won’t be any movie if you don’t want to do it. If you’re not comfortable with it. I’m not saying this to put pressure on you, it's just… I just want you to know that your choice is completely free. I don’t want you to feel like you have to do it, for whatever bad reason.”
“I appreciate that you’re telling me this, thank you,” he said, in a tone you couldn’t quite define, half defeated, half tender. “Listen, I wanted to apologize.”
“For what, Joel?” you asked questioningly.
“Yesterday. I didn’t really know how to handle all of it. Honestly, I’ve been overwhelmed by a lot of emotions since I read the script. Including anger.” He didn't expect to tell you that, but the need was too much to bear. He needed to make things right.
“I know. I expected it to be complicated, after our two previous meetings,” you said, without animosity or bitterness. Just being factual.
He raised his eyebrows, as if to apologize, before continuing. “I wanted to apologize for that too. My attitude.”
“That’s your way of handling things, it always has been, I should have known. But I appreciate it too, thanks Joel.”
He nodded, then added “do you think we’ll be able to do it?”
“To do what?”
“Work together. To be coworkers on a movie?”
He saw your eyebrows furrow slightly, as you took the time to think before answering.
“Well… the evening’s going pretty well, right? You haven't shook your head at me yet, to show me the door.”
“Ouch!” he replied exaggeratedly.
“Too soon?” you asked, lips curled into a smile.
“A little,” he laughed.
He enjoyed it, that little moment. You’d had so many of them before.
“Aren’t you afraid of what might happen?” he wanted to ask.
“Aren’t you afraid of reliving things, that I’ll fall madly in love with you again and that the scenes we’ll shoot, my acting, will just express the reality of my feelings?”
But he couldn’t ask you that.
He wanted to ask you if you had sent him the script because you still had feelings for him, but he couldn’t say that either.
“It’ll be a low budget movie. I mean, if we do it,” you said. There’ll be some outdoor scenes but not that many. Not many other actors either. It won’t be a long shoot.”
He nodded and said, “can I give you my answer in a couple of days?”
“Of course,” you smiled. “Thanks for the meal, it was delicious,” you said as you stood up. “You can text me if you have any questions.”
He thanked you and you complimented him on his house as you put your coat back on. His taste hadn’t changed. The rooms were simply decorated. As you walked toward the front door you glanced inside one of the rooms, and saw a table with a wooden sculpture on it.
“Oh my god, Joel? You still do the carving?”
“Oh… well… yeah. I never stopped.”
“Can I?” you asked.
“Sure,” he opened the door and you slipped through the gap, brushing past him lightly as you passed and you had goosebumps at the familiar scent. Still the perfume you had gifted him once. Reassuring. After all these years, instantly, it was there. Enveloping you.
You approached the table and leaned over a piece he was working on, admiring the figurine that was being carved. A rodeo cowboy on a bucking horse.
“Wow, Joel… you were already very good at this back then, but now it’s incredible. The level of detail is mind-blowing.”
You looked at the shelves, covered with other sculptures. You approached them: bears, deer, wolves, rabbits.
“This is really amazing, you’re so talented. And… Do you still play guitar?”
“Sure,” he answered, nodding at a guitar case. “I usually play in the dining room. My guitars are over there. This one needed a little TLC. I just got it back. It’s… well it’s the one you gave me.”
You looked at him, unable to hide the surprise on your face.
“You kept it?” you asked, trying to hold back your emotions.
“ ‘ course I did.”
You nodded, your throat tight.
“I should go, it’s getting late,” you said. “Tell me about the movie, ok?” You looked at him hesitantly, but when he leaned towards you and wrapped his arms around your torso, your eyes closed at the feeling, so familiar, before you pulled away, told him good night and left.
Driving your car, you replayed the images of the evening in your mind. Of course, you had felt his gaze on you several times during the evening. And sometimes you could see Joel again. Your Joel.
Did he think about you as much as you thought about him? Did he suspect that you had sent him this script in the hope of getting back in touch with him? Did he know how much you missed him, all those years?
You had wondered so many times if he had been thinking about you. You thought about the hug, as comforting as before. You missed him so much.
Two days later, he texted you
“I’m in”
He kept looking at his phone after sending the message. The read indicator appeared quickly, then the writing bubble.
“Great, I'm so glad! I’m sure it’s gonna be amazing!!”
He hoped it would be. Hoped it wasn’t a mistake.
He had to leave LA for several weeks for a shooting, and the organization of the film was put in place.
You sent each other a few messages in the next few days. Then the messages became more and more regular, while remaining purely friendly.
Several months later, the day before the shooting started, he knocked on your trailer to say hello.
You had rehearsed some scenes with the crew, and everything was ready.
The less emotional scenes were shot in the first few days. He didn’t ask for it, but he was glad. Every night he came back to his trailer, played the guitar, and thought about you.
Seeing you every day was a very strange thing that he had trouble to define. He was happy to see you every day, to see the person you had become. And sad that you were no longer his. Filming these moments with you was like constantly reopening a wound that had never really healed.
That night, he took out the script, and reread the scene planned the next day.
EXT. THEIR APARTMENT -- EVENING He parks downstairs at their apartment, it’s dark. He knows she’s back from a week at her parents’. He’s eager to get home and see her again, he’s missed her. He quickly climbs the outside stairs and unlocks the door. INT. THEIR APARTMENT -- EVENING He puts his keys on the hall cabinet, takes off his jacket and hangs it on the coat rack. We follow him as he walks in the apartment, until he sees her in the doorway of the dining room. He smiles, we see love in their eyes as look at other. HER Hey baby He goes to her, they kiss, he takes her in his arms. She closes her eyes. HIM I missed you, baby. He brushes her cheek with his thumb. HER I missed you too. She takes his hand and leads him to their bedroom.
He stopped reading there, before the next scene, that was the most intimate, the one that made him anxious just to think about.
“I missed you, baby,” he said the line. He brushed your cheek with his thumb, like he had done so many times before. His eyes were fixed in yours. He wondered if he was imagining what he was reading in them.
“I missed you too.”
You took his hand and you headed out of the frame.
“Cut, it was perfect, guys! Go get ready for the next scene.”
He picked up his water bottle and took a sip. He felt dizzy.
You were both wearing underwear and bathrobes. Waiting to shoot the scene.
“Ok guys, you’re ready? Great, let’s go.”
The scene was a close-up of both of your faces during a sex scene, at night. You lay down on the bed first, after taking off your robe. He took off his too and lay down between your thighs.
“Is this ok?” he asked.
“Yeah, it’s ok,” you smiled.
“Action!”
You started to kiss, tongues quickly brushing against each other. His hands cupped your cheeks as he rolled his hips towards you slowly, careful that your crotches wouldn’t touch.
It was overwhelming to feel you against him, your breasts against his chest, with only your bra between the two of you. It was a whirling moment, to kiss you in such an intimate scene, playing something that you had lived for real before. He groaned and slid his hand to the back of your neck to hold you as close as possible against him.
He felt you shift slightly, turning your hips to face his. He wanted to ask you what you were doing but he couldn’t. He was half hard from the moment he laid against you but now his cock was hard as steel. You pushed your pelvis forward and the tip of his cock nestled at your entrance, pointing against his boxers.
He could feel your wet panties through the fabrics.
“Don’t stop, baby,” you recited your line, and he growled.
He couldn’t believe you would act like that while shooting a scene, couldn't believe you were using him.
He pulled away to look at you and you murmured an unscripted “please.” Eyebrows furrowed, he nodded slightly. His fat head found its way, and his tip pushed your panties in.
It was hot, filthy, forbidden. So unprofessional, but he couldn’t stop. He recognized your moans, and the small team around you probably thought it was perfectly faked, when it was music in his ears. The music he thought he would never hear again.
Your hands tightened on his biceps as you came. So quickly. He felt your walls squeezing his tip and he almost forgot to move, forgot the script, forgot you were shooting a scene. He pulled out, afraid he would come too, and faked his orgasm, neck tense and veins bulging, your hands caressing his hair at the back of his neck.
You said the next line “I love you, baby. I missed you so much.”
“I love you too,” was his.
“Cut!! That was amazing, great job!!”
There was a pounding on your trailer door as you got out of the shower. You quickly threw on a bathrobe and went to open it.
“What the fuck were you thinking?” he growled.
“Keep your voice low Joel, damn… Come in.”
You closed the door behind him, searching for the right words, pressing your hands together.
“I, huh…” you stammered.
“No! No, talk to me. Tell me. You can’t… you can’t do that and stay silent.”
“I’m sorry.”
“You’re sorry?” he chuckled.
“Having you so close to me, against me… I couldn’t help myself. I’m sorry. It was overwhelming.”
“Everyone could have seen, what were you thinking?”
“I wasn’t thinking, that’s the point, Joel! And they didn’t see, anyway.”
“Jesus christ you can't do that. You can’t just use me like that.”
“I know, Joel. I know, I’m sorry. It’s just…”
“What?”
You sighed, and that time he didn't try to rush you. You felt him soften, giving you time to find your words.
“I miss you, Joel.”
“No, don't… Please, don’t say that.”
“I missed you the second I left and it never stopped.”
Hearing the tone of your voice and reading your eyes, this time he had no doubt that you really meant it. And he felt all the tensions in his body relax, as if he were freed from everything that had been oppressing him for years. You approached him slowly, eyes raised to his, and you slid your hand into his, and his large palm gently closed over it. You caressed his cheek with the other, and for a moment he shut his eyes, pressing his face against your hand.
“I miss you,” you said again and he rested his forehead against yours. He gently rubbed his nose against yours, before kissing your lips softly. He heard your breathing hitch for a moment, then you moaned slightly as you pulled away, just to look at him, Joel, not the actor, for the first time in years. He pulled you closer to him and brushed his tongue over your lips, as if asking for permission to push inside. Greedily, you slid yours to his, licking his tongue and lips, until he crashed his mouth against yours. His hands rested on your waist while yours moved up his back, pressing your bodies together. You whined when you felt his hard cock pressed to you.
You pulled away from him again, just to look at his face, and he wanted to pinch himself, just to be sure you were not some dream that would leave him disillusioned and alone when he woke up.
You took his hand and led him to your room.
“Undress me,” you said.
He pulled on the knot of your bathrobe slowly, making the two sides of the garment part, revealing the curve of your breasts that he caressed with his fingertips.
Your chest rose quickly as your eyes were plunged into each other, until he lowered them to your pussy. His heart was beating so fast that for a moment he was afraid it would explode.
He raised his gaze to yours, silently asking if you were okay.
“Yes,” you said. As if you knew he would want to hear it, that a nod wouldn't be enough.
He slipped his hands under the fabric of the robe and slid it down your shoulders. It fell to the floor, leaving you naked. So vulnerable, and yet you were the strongest woman he ever knew, following your dream by leaving for a city where you didn't know anyone. And made your dream come true.
But now you were here, in front of him. So pretty, so sure of yourself, of your desires.
“You’re so beautiful,” he said in a low voice.
He pulled you back, guiding you with his hands on your hips as he kissed you, until the back of your knees touched the bed.
“Lie down, sweetheart,” he said. The nickname was so familiar in his mouth, so normal. You did as he asked, moving back until your head rested on the pillow as he watched you, still standing at the end of the bed. Then he took off his t-shirt, unbuttoned his jeans and got rid of them and his boxers.
“Are you ok?” he asked.
“Yes,” you replied. “Haven't felt better in a long time, actually.”
“Me too,” he added, laying on the bed, his hand caressing your inner thighs that he kissed, then he spread them with his hands.
He ran his thumb over your folds, covering it in your wetness until he reached your clit and gently rolled it under his finger. You moaned, spreading your thighs wider.
He leaned down, his shoulders taking possession of the space between your thighs, the scent of your arousal filling his nostrils. He licked a long stripe from your drooling hole to your clit, then placed his hands on the inside of your thighs, pressing your knees against the sheets, and you willingly let him do it, your hands sliding into his hair. He pushed his tongue into your cunt, growling against your folds. He never thought he would taste you again and an overwhelming feeling was running through his whole body. You were leaking into his mouth, down his throat and he pressed you against him, greedy for what you were giving him as your hips rolled towards him. His nose brushed perfectly against your clit, like it always did before. You clung to his hair as your moans were getting louder and louder.
"I'm so close, Joel," you murmured, hands lost in his curls. "Please, baby, please."
“Take what you need, use me, sweetheart.”
“Oh my god, Joel… I’m gonna… I’m coming, fuck!”
He didn't let go of you, leaving his tongue buried in your pussy and his nose against your clit, gripping your waist with his hands, as if they were in their natural place, your flesh welcoming them.
“Joel…” you whimpered.
“Another one, please, baby. Let me give you another one, ok?”
“I’m not sure if I can… I don’t know if I can,” you panted.
“Lemme try, ok?”
“Ok,” you whispered.
His tongue left your pussy, licking your puffy folds before teasing your swollen clit. His middle finger slid along your folds before he pushed it in you gently, immediately adding a second digit. His fingers pumped into you, making your wetness flow down to the sheets. He kept you pressed against the mattress, as he had done so many times, drunk on your taste and smell. His cock ached but he resisted the urge to grind himself against the bed, afraid of not being able to hold back and come on them.
“I can feel you clench on my fingers, you’re gonna be a good girl and come again for me?” he asked, before swirling his tongue over your clit again. “Thought about it so often,” he added, still pumping your drooling cunt with his thick fingers, then licking and sucking your clit.
“Yes, fuck yes,” you whined, just before you came on his diggits, clit pulsing against his tongue.
He crawled over to you, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, and smashed his lips against yours, your wimpers now disappearing between them.
“I wanna suck your cock, Joel,” you breathed against his lips, but he shook his head.
“Sweetheart… I'd love it too but I’m gonna come the second you’ll take me in your mouth,” he said. “And I really need to feel you around my cock. All the way this time, not just the tip. You’re ok with that, baby?”
“Of course, need to feel you too.”
“Damn you’re so pretty,” he said, and kissed you.
He grabbed his cock in his hand, the tip leaking, swollen and red, and nestled it at your entrance, pausing there for a moment before thrusting in.
“Oh fuck…” you whined, making him stop.
“No, no no, don’t stop, I’m ok. Need all of you, please,” you whimpered.
Like years ago, he would give you everything you needed from him. So he didn't stop until he bottomed out.
“Shit,” he groaned, feeling his balls tightening, ready to explode. He was struggling so hard not to come, but his breath was hitching with every thrust since he felt your pussy around him.
You kissed, hips rolling towards each other softly and slowly. He loved to feel you around him again, and again he thought that your bodies were made for each other. He was sure of it more than ever. He slid his arms under your shoulders and you licked his neck, right at his pulsating point, then kissed the thin and delicate skin crossed by its veins.
“I won’t last, baby, I’m sorry…” he panted.
You wrapped your legs around his waist, taking him deeper.
“It doesn’t matter, fill me, Joel, please, just like before,” you begged, making him grawl, and he placed his thumb against your clit. It was enough to give you soon another climax and you pulsed around his shaft, digging your fingers into his skin as you came once again. He thrusted in a few times before burying himself, balls deep in your cunt, and shot his cum into your core, filling it to the last drop, his forehead against yours.
“Fuck, sweetheart….”
“I know,” you breathed. “Just like before.”
For a few minutes both of you were panting loudly, waiting to catch your breath.
Then you caressed his cheek and he kissed you until he pulled away and lay down facing you.
“Come here, baby,” he said, welcoming you against his chest. He wrapped his arms around you, the way he always liked it so much. You stayed like that for a few minutes without talking. He just wanted to feel you against him, to hear you breathe slowly, to feel your skin against his.
“I should have left with you,” he said suddenly.
You straightened up to look at him then said softly, “hey, no, don’t… Don’t hurt yourself by thinking that. You did what you had to do, and so did I. And we met again, like you said back then,” you added, and kissed him, then curled up in his arms again.
“We did,” he agreed, brushing your hair delicately. “So, that script?” he asked. “Was it to… like… get me back?”
“Of course it was,” you smiled against his torso, and he kissed the top of your head.
“I’m happy you sent it to me, sweetheart.”

I’m a sucker for Angst, so a heaviest of heavy Angst will always do it for me, like I need my insides to feel like it’s being stabbed and overwhelmed with all sort of emotions. Bonus point if it’s long. Hope this isn’t too much to ask for maybe I’m getting too carried away loll Could you do it with Justin Herbert please?
No Strings?
a/n: nonnie you sent this at the perfect time! I've had justin on my schedule for a while, but couldn't figure out what to write for him, so this worked out perfectly! this does not have a happy ending but i might be open to a part two if enough people want it. enjoyyyy :)
masterlist | NFL Masterlists | Justin Herbert Masterlist
You swore you could handle casual. When you started whatever you had going on with Justin, you swore you were the kind of person who could have a casual relationship, but now you aren’t so sure. When Justin asked you out four months ago, you never would’ve expected to be where you are now. It had all been going so well. The dates had been everything you could’ve asked for and more, and Justin was the perfect gentleman. It all began to go downhill after your third date. You had invited Justin into your apartment when he dropped you off, your intentions clear, and he had followed you inside. You two had been sitting on the couch when things began to get serious, the kiss you were sharing heating up.
Justin pulled away, looking slightly guilty. “I feel like I need to be honest with you about something before this goes any further.”
“Um, yeah, okay,” you were a little confused, but you let him speak.
“Look, because of the job I have, I really can’t do anything serious right now. I know I’ve probably led you on a little bit, but I swear I’ve never had any intentions to hurt you,” he stared at you, looking nervous.
“That’s okay!” you speak up too quickly for your liking. “We don’t have to stop unless that’s what you want. I can do casual.” Surely, you could. It couldn’t be that different from a normal relationship.
“You sure? I don’t wanna overstep if casual isn’t something you’re comfortable with.”
“Yeah, of course. No strings attached. Just having fun.”
As Justin leaned back in, you were thinking that this could definitely work. Justin was great, and this would keep him in your life without overstepping any boundaries. You could do casual.
~~
Turns out, you can’t do casual. You’ve been trying to stay normal, but you realized two days ago that you were falling for Justin, hard. You’d been keeping it to yourself, not wanting to scare him away, but it’s getting more and more difficult. He’s just so sweet, and the things he tends to do for you simply cannot be casual.
Is it casual when he plays with the ends of your hair before you get out of bed in the morning? Is it casual for him, even though he keeps all your favorite snacks at his place for when you have movie nights? If it’s casual, why does he keep a drawer free so you have space to keep a few clothes at his place? If it’s casual, why does he know you better than you know yourself? Why has he gotten you your favorite flowers every two weeks since you went on that first date with him? Why does he know “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” is the perfect movie to cheer you up after a long day? If it’s casual for him, why is he acting like he’s in love with you?
Eventually, it had gotten to a point where you couldn’t stand lying to him or yourself anymore. After four months of no strings, you had to talk to him. You finally got the chance one night when he invited you over for a movie night. Before the movie got started, you decided it was time to break the news.
“Justin… I actually think we need to talk,” you wiped your hands on your pants, feeling them already starting to sweat from the nerves.
“Oh! Uh, yeah, sure. What’s up?”
“I just really need to say this, and I know you probably won’t like it, but I need you to listen until I finish,” you pause, waiting for him to nod. “Okay, so, I just feel like we’ve definitely crossed some lines in this arrangement, ya know? Like we both have a drawer at each other’s places. We’re spending the night together, and sometimes, we hang out without even having sex. I just… this isn’t what we originally agreed to,” you were avoiding saying what you were truly feeling.
“So we’ll step back some? I don’t know. That doesn’t seem like something to be worried abou-”
“I caught feelings for you, Justin,” he just stares at you, shocked, “I know we said no feelings, but we’ve just gotten a little too close. We don’t have to stop or anything. I’m a big girl. I can handle-”
“No. No, we should stop,” he cuts you off, and it’s your turn to stare.
“Seriously?”
“We said no strings. I told you I can’t do relationships because of my job. If you have feelings for me, this needs to stop now before it can get worse.”
“Right,” you stood robotically, grabbing your things and walking out of Justin’s house with tears in your eyes. The worst part? He didn’t even try to stop you. Somehow, with one sentence, you ruined something that could’ve been so good for you, that had been so good for you.
~~
Now, it had been three months since that night, and you hadn’t spoken to Justin since. You’ve been going through the motions, just doing a fairly normal routine to make it through your day. You wake up, get dressed, go home, shower, cry while you eat your sorrows away, sleep, and then do it all again the next day. Nothing has felt right since your breakup with Justin, if that’s what you would even call. How can you break up with someone you were never really dating.
You’ve found your confidence to be much lower recently, too. You couldn’t count the amount of time you’ve wondered where you went wrong. Why did you have to tell him? Why would he not even try? Why didn’t he follow you? Today, you found the answer.
You had decided that a day out would do you some good, so since you had the day off, you got dressed and walked around the city. You were about to go into one of your favorite coffee shops, one that you had brought Justin to many times. As you neared the door, you caught a glimpse of something that shattered your heart in a second. There sat Justin across from some girl you’ve never seen, looking too close to just be friends. You watched as she stood, kissing his cheek before she wandered off to the bathroom. A bright smile made its way onto Justin’s face, a smile you had never managed to bring out of him. With your heart broken all over again, you made your way to a close friend’s place. It was closer than yours, and you knew you didn’t want to be alone right now.
He had told you he couldn’t be in a relationship, but what he really meant was that he couldn’t be in a relationship with you. The questions began to set in again. Were you not pretty enough? Not popular enough? Did he need someone in the same tax bracket as him? Did he really just not like you? Did he think you weren’t good enough for him? Was he lying the entire time, every time he told you how special you were to him
Even with all the questions you had, you knew two things for sure. You were done with Justin Herbert, and you definitely could not do casual.

Soft.
BestFriend!Eddie Munson x reader blurb
Word count: 637
“Eddie! Are you there?”, I call. He said I was good to come over for movie night, but he hasn’t let me in. I can’t exactly knock on the door with my hands full of tapes and snacks. “EDDIE! Open the door!”, after a few more screeches from me, I hear Eddie running from one end of the trailer to the front door. He, very dramatically, may I add, swings the door open. “I’m sorry!”, Eddie responds, looking mildly disheveled in his pajamas and wet hair. “I was just cleaning up for you sweetheart.”, he finishes with a wink. “Let me in you dork.” he promptly steps aside at my words and motions for me to come in. I set my things on the kitchen bar and turn to see Eddie with his arms wide beckoning me to give him a hug. I oblige, and his still very wet hair tickles my shoulders and sides of my face. I break away and say, “Okay you sap. Poltergeist or Halloween?”. He laughs softy before replying, “Hmm, Halloween?”. I walk to the tv with a nod, the movie in hand. Eddie moves to grab sodas from the fridge. We both finish our task and he plops down on the couch next to me with an exaggerated sigh. A few minutes pass, all the while I can feel Eddie’s big baby deer eyes burning a whole in the side of my head. “Go ahead. I know you want to.”, I say with a roll of my eyes and a (not so well hidden) hidden smile. His face lights up before grabbing a throw pillow and setting it in my lap before aggressively laying his messy haired head on it. “Ahh yes. My spot.”, Eddie says in a weird posh accent that I can’t really place. My hands almost immediately reach to mess with the ends of his still damp mane. “Can I play with your hair?”, I still want to make sure he’s okay with it, even though I have countless times. I can feel his head nod as he says, “Yes. Pet me.”. I pause for a moment, and (jokingly) respond, “I hate you. You make everything worse. I don’t even want to now.”. He laughs in response before grabbing my hand and bringing it to his scalp. I run my fingers across it, admiring him from above. The movie is over halfway done now, my hands still tangled in Eddie’s hair. “Your hair is so soft when you wash it.”, but he doesn’t say anything back. “Eddie?”, I try again. He hums this time. “I fell asleep for a minute.”, he mumbles. My mouth can’t help but turn up into a smile. “Go back to sleep Eds.”, he lets out a little whiny sound at that. “Can you stay the night?”, he asks, his voice is soft. “Yeah.”, I replied with a stroke to his head. He doesn’t move in the slightest. “Come on you big baby, you’ve gotta get off the couch to go to bed.” He whines again before rolling off of me and trudging to his bedroom, with me on his tail. He makes a pitstop at the bathroom while I make myself comfortable on one (my) side of the bed. He enters and all but flings himself on top of me before shuffling around to lay on my chest. My hands find their way back to his tresses. “Goodnight Eds.”, he has already settled, and I assume it won’t be long before he’s out like a light. I don’t expect him to respond, but he does. “Love you.”, his sleepy voice is muffled against my skin. “I love you too.”, I respond with a smile. His arms slither under my waist to hold me while he drifts off. My own sleep follows soon after.

starry-eyed lover, the one that you saw | b.e
collateral - pt 1
The brightness of your screen illuminates your face, highlighting the tears that stream down your cheek. Breath caught in your throat as you read the notification.
Billie Hey
You didn’t know what to do next. Would you seem desperate if you answered immediately? The last thing you wanted her to know was that you yearned for missed her, despite being the one that had ended what you guys had. This is what you wanted, what you prayed for. Why do you feel so conflicted now that you have it?
This is real. She texted you, and you’re not dreaming. She contacted you, as if she was some sort of manifestation after a night of thinking of her. Could she still feel you, feel your emotions like they were her own? Have you been clouding her mental like she was clouding yours? So many questions to ask, and now you have the chance to do so. You click on the notification, opening up the message. Your finger shook as you carefully typed a response, scared that you would mess up something so simple.
Y/N Hey Read 4:37 AM
Tears brimmed your eyes as she opened your message immediately. Anxiety bubbled in your stomach, awaiting a response. You shut your phone off in an attempt to soothe yourself, mind wandering as you do so.
“Hello?” you answer the phone. You hear Billie's voice on the other end. “Do you ever answer texts, baby?” your heart flutters at the pet name as you pull the device away from your ear and check your notifications, seeing multiple messages from ‘Billie :p’. “Whoops?” she laughs at your response, rubbing her eyes “you’re lucky i love you y/n, but back to why i called. What do you want snack wise for our movie night?”
You smile, remembering the mini date night you had planned with her. “Nothing in particular…but y’know, if they just happen to have zombie takiss” you respond, exaggerating the ‘s’. “Oh well of course, can't go an october without having them at least once."
She was you in another body, a perfect match. “Well hurry bils, I miss you.”
“Just gotta check out, then I'll be heading home to you, love.” you both say I love you and end the call. There's a comforting warmth in your stomach that fights with the never ending dread. The dread of knowing she isn’t really yours, and you aren’t really hers.
You’re brought back from the memory with the vibration of your phone. A text back.
Billie I’ve been meaning to reach out, are you busy? If not, would you mind calling?
Your head spins at her message. For the first time in months, you would finally be having a real conversation with Billie. Were you even ready? You don't give yourself much time to answer your own thoughts as your body goes into autopilot, clicking on the small Call button on the top of the screen.
Ring
The reality of the situation hits you all at once, holding your breath as the phone continues
Ring
Was she messing with you? Would she even answer?
Ring
“Hey.” you feel your heart skip a few beats as her smooth voice greets you on the other end of the call. You finally let out the breath you had been holding, feeling lightheaded in the process. “Hey, Billie.” A silence falls over the call, obvious that the both of you had no idea what to say next.
“Why’d you wanna call?” a sudden confidence washes over you, motivated to understand why now. “In all honesty, I don’t know. I guess I just wanted to check in on you. To hear your voice.” she mumbles the last sentence, slightly hoping you didn’t hear her correctly. But you did, of course you did. Anxiety so high, hyper focused on everything she was saying.
“I’m doing…” you falter for a second, do you tell the truth or lie to save yourself from any embarrassment? You decide the latter would be a safer choice. “I’m doing okay, Billie. How are you? I’ve seen you, your promotions for the album.” Billie lets out a soft laugh at that, a rosy hue painted on her cheeks. She had completely forgotten who she was as soon as she picked up the phone. Too distracted by you to remember or focus on anything else around her.
“I’m uh, I'm good too.” it’s your turn to laugh, wet eyelashes laying on your cheeks as you close your eyes. “Good, I’m glad. You deserve it, I'm sure you’ve been working hard.” you say, trying to figure her out without trying to seem pushy. “Yeah, it’s been a lot. It’s different without you, though”
“Am i that ever lasting, Billie?” you say playfully, speaking to her never felt foreign despite it all. Immediately falling back into the groove you left on, before the argument. For a second, you almost forget why you had wanted her to leave in the first place. “God, you know you are.” she teases you slightly as you get flustered at her words. She continues, “I’m gonna be going on my press tour soon, and i just wanted to see you before I left. If that's possible, of course.”
You know you shouldn’t. You know that you would fall back into her immediately, sacrificing the little amount of healing you had made during the time of no contact. Your heart betrays your rational thinking, “Yeah, that’d be nice. It’d be nice to see you.”
“Okay. I’ll plan, and I’ll text you the info, yeah?” “Yeah Billie, that sounds good.”
“I’ll talk to you soon, alright? I gotta go. Bye, y/n.” you wait a few seconds, waiting for the ‘I love you’ before remembering, it’s not like how it used to be. You quickly muster up your own response.
“Okay, bye Billie.” the disconnect sound echoes soon after. You look at her contact,
a smile creeping onto your face. You're not exactly happy, but not sad. Just shocked that this is finally happening. You don’t know what to anticipate. All you could do was hope for the best, even though you didn’t even know what the best is. A notification pops up at the top of your screen.
Billie Saturday @ 3. Cafe lunch. I’ll pick you up
Just hope for the best.

“THE HEART AND THE HEAD” HENRY HART X SCIENTIST FEM! READER
SUMMARY : You and Henry are polar opposites but Henry couldn’t care less. (Based on movie Henry so Henry is 24.) Reader is also based on Harper from Wizards of Waverly outfit wise.
WARNINGS : explicit content. Reader is meant to be on the plus size but it really doesn’t matter I don’t think
Ever since Henry moved to Dystopia, he had to get used to the weird characters he would come across. That included you, the quirky but insanely intelligent scientist he just happened to met.
It was all by chance. He ended up saving you from a burglary. And ever since then, the two of you were inseparable.
The two of you clicked, despite your differences. There honestly wasn’t anything about the two of that was the same and yet, the two of were stuck together like glue.
He appreciated how different you were. Your weirdness attracted him to you. Not to mention you could match his sarcasm well.
And he liked it.
The only thing you hated about Henry was how heroic he was. He took risks. Being impulsive was a trait you did not appreciate when it came to him.
And it was showing right now.
“Ah, shit.”
“Hold still.”
Right now you were patching Henry up from his recent fight. Henry ended up defeating the guy with the ability to control fire but he ended up with some battle wounds to show it.
You were cleaning out the wound down towards his abdomen. Henry could hear the attitude in your voice. “You’re mad at me.”
“I’m not mad.”
“You’re mad at me.”
“I’m mad at the things that you do now hush.”
Henry hissed a little, feeling you clean the wound with chemicals. He saw you were having a hard time cleaning it with his shirt on. “I can take it off.”
You paused, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks. “No, it’s fine.”
“Here, let me.” Henry pulled the shirt over him anyway, and tossed it to the side.
You always knew Henry had a nice body but seeing it up close and in person did something to you. You bit your lip, mumbling a quick “thanks” before going back to work.
Henry didn’t say anything. He just admired you. He knew he was developing feelings for you. He wasn’t stupid. He could recognize it. How could he not?
You were beautiful, intelligent, brave, caring, funny. All traits he loved in a woman. He was trying to push it away because he respected the relationship he had with you. You two were partners, helping get crime off the streets.
But he didn’t want to push it away though.
You were clearly going through making one of your crazy outfits that you always did. Today, you were wearing a dress made out of crayola markers. Yes, the dress would’ve been bizarre to anyone else but there was something about your uniqueness and you being unapologetically you that made you attractive to Henry.
Henry was looking you up and down, checking you out as if you were half naked and the hottest girl in the room. You could wear the stupidest of clothing to anyone else but to him you’d still be attractive.
As you cleaned the wound, you felt his eyes on you. When you looked up, you saw Henry was looking at you, dead in the eyes.
When you first met Henry, he was a nice guy. A little sassy at times but he was humorous and good and you needed a guy like that at the time. In a place like Dystopia, you had to treasure men like that.
Then Henry started to get a little flirtatious with you. You couldn’t tell if he was serious or just playing around so you’d always ignore his advances.
This time you didn’t think you could ignore it.
You looked away from him and focused on the wound. “I’m almost done cleaning it.”
Henry wouldn’t let you look away. He lifted your chin up and forced you to look at him. “I’m sorry, okay? Stop being mad.”
His voice was a little playful but you felt the sincerity in his voice which made it tug at the strings of your heart a little. “What you did was too much.”
“I know but you know I’m on autopilot when I get into the action.”
You sighed, knowing this about him. “You have a good heart, Henry.” You placed your hand over his heart. “But sometimes we need to use this.” You pointed at his head. “Because if we don’t then this.” You placed your hand back over his heart. “Doesn’t matter.”
Henry gripped your hand when you placed it. “I don’t need that. That’s what I got you for.”
You let out a smile, tilting your head at the former sidekick. When he spoke, it always felt like poetry to you. Or maybe you were a little bias.
You cleared your throat. Then took a bandage. You placed it directly on Henry’s wound. “All done.”
Henry saw you were trying to be quick to pull away at his touch and walk away. He got off from the table and grabbed your arm. Then forced you to turn and look at him.
A gasp came from your lips from his assertiveness. “Stop doing that.”
“Doing what?” You forced yourself to play stupid.
“Pushing me away. You’re driving me insane.”
“I’m not pushing you away, Hen.”
“Bullshit. I feel it.”
You let out a sigh before turning away from him. You rubbed the back of your neck out of frustration. Henry was right behind you, following your lead.
He started to rub the back of your neck with his strong hands. The tension from your neck instantly released. You let out a moan of relief.
His hands were on your love handles and he gave them a gentle rub, making you sigh more out of relaxation. “Stop, pushing me away.”
“Henry…”
The long moan of his name, made him force you to turn around and face him. His left hand stayed on your love handle while his right hand caressed your face. “Why are you doing this?” You asked him.
Henry tilted his head at your behavior, observing your reaction. He saw your eyes about to fill with tears. Then it was too late. A tear dropped down your cheek.
He quickly kissed it away. “Why are you crying?”
“Why are you doing this?” You repeated.
Henry brought your chin up, making sure you were looking at him in the eyes. Usually he did have a smart remark but now wasn’t the time for that right now. Now was the time to be real. “Because I have feelings for you.”
“No you don’t.”
He knew this was coming. You doubting his feelings for you just because you were different than the girls he would usually go after. “You don’t get to tell me who I can and can’t have feelings for. I decide that. Not you, me.”
You bit your lip. You wanted to look away but you knew Henry was just going to make you look at him. “I don’t want to get hurt, Henry.”
“I won’t hurt you. I promise.” He whispered.
It was your turn to make a move. You cupped his face with both hands, kissing him.
Henry quickly kissed you back. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer to him. The kiss felt perfect. Everything he imagined it would be. He didn’t want to let you go, afraid if you pulled back he would never get you like this again.
He pushed you up against one of your desks. He knocked down all the stuff that was on it. You were thankful you didn’t have any important work on the desk.
He picked you up, setting you down on the desk, continuing to kiss you like his life depended on it.
Your hands went to his chest. You had forgotten he was completely shirtless. His abs were defined. The muscles along his arm hugged you like a snug blanket.
Henry moaned in your mouth at the feeling of just simply your hands on his chest. His hand went to the back of your neck. He gave you a big, sloppy, deep, but passionate kiss.
He pulled away and looked at you back in your eyes. “I’m not going to hurt you.” He told you again.
It was then you just had to take in a deep breath and nod in acceptance. “Okay.”

Love That Burns ~ Ending 2 ~ 64
LOVE THAT BURNS MASTERLIST
< previous chapter
Word Count: 1,775ish
Summary: Laura plans a movie night, hoping it forces you and Logan to start making moves.
Notes: It's definitely a shorter chapter, but I hope it's still good! I'm so excited to show you the rest of the series. Ending 2 will have two chapter 71's (the final chapter(s)). One will be an angsty ending and one will be a fluffy one.
Reminder: I DO NOT do taglists. Please don’t ask. Please follow and interact! I appreciate any reblogs, likes, comments, and asks!
Laura was watching you work in the kitchen the following morning.
“So…” She dragged out, “You’re calling him Lo now…”
“It’s just a nickname, Laura,” you brushed off. “Like how I call you kiddo and Wade calls me Buttercup.”
“But it’s not, mom. I see the way you look and act around him. It’s becoming more than a friendship for you.”
You shook your head. “You’re just seeing things.”
“May I remind you that I was there when you and dad got married. I think I know what you look like when you’re in love and when a Logan is in love with you.”
“I’m not in love with him.”
“Yet.”
“Laura,” you sighed.
“I’ll drop it. Well, until tonight.”
“Tonight? What’s happening tonight?”
“Guess you’ll have to wait and see.”
~~~
Laura was coming home from work when she gave Logan a call.
“Laura?” He immediately picked up, sounding concerned. “What’s going on? Is something wrong? Is it your mom?”
She forced herself to not laugh at his rapid fire questions. “Mom’s fine,” she replied. “I’m fine. Just calling to make sure you’re coming for movie night tonight.”
“Didn’t think we were doing it without Wade.”
“I don’t see why not. Unless you don’t want to spend time with my mom and I?”
“No! Uh, I mean, of course I want to spend time with your mom… and you!”
Laura bit back a laugh once again. “Okay. So we’ll see you after work?”
“Yeah, of course. See you then, kid.”
Laura ended the call, finally laughing to herself as she thought about how fun this was going to be.
~~~
“Hey, mom,” Laura greeted as she entered the apartment.
“Hey, kiddo,” you replied. “How was your day?”
“It was good. I’m tired and ready for movie night.”
“Movie night? Are we still doing it? I don’t think Wade would be too happy about that.”
“Oh, come on, mom. It’s my turn to pick the movie and, besides, Logan already said he was coming.”
“Oh?”
Laura smirked. “Yeah, Lo’s coming over.”
You rolled your eyes, ignoring the way she teased you. “What movie are you picking tonight?”
“You’ll just have to wait and see.”
“Seriously?”
“I’m not giving anything away until Logan’s over.”
“I swear, if you choose a horror movie,” you shake your head. “You know how I feel about those. We’ve seen too many horrors in our own lives to watch those. Plus, they are actually scary.”
“I told you, mom, you’re just going to have to wait.”
~~~
Logan stepped into your apartment, relishing in how fast the tension seemed to leave him. He was spending more time at your apartment than his, but he wasn’t complaining and, as of now, neither were you and Laura.
“Hey, doll,” he said as he came over to where you were in the kitchen. “Need any help?”
“Lo,” you smiled. “Thank you for the offer, but dinner’s all done. The homemade pizza is just keeping warm in the oven. How was work?”
“Fine. Just work. How was your day, darlin’?”
“It was good. Stuck around home today.”
“Good. You need days were you take it easy.”
The genuine concern shining in Logan’s eyes had you catching your breath. You could tell that he seriously wanted you to take it easier and rest more. You knew that he was constantly worried about you, but you didn’t know to what extent.
“Good! Logan’s here!” Laura broke the quiet moment that had fell between you and Logan in the kitchen. “Let’s get eating and then it’s movie night!”
“Gonna tell us what we’re watching, kid?”
“After dinner!”
~~~
“Okay, I picked a horror movie for tonight,” Laura stated as she and Logan finished up cleaning the dishes.
“What?” You questioned. “You know that I’m not a fan of those films.”
“Why not, doll?” Logan questioned.
“It’s just… I… Well…” you sighed. “I’ve seen enough horrors in my life. Yes, I know that it’s not exactly the same but it’s enough. I’m not a fan.”
“Don’t worry, mom,” Laura smirked. “Logan and I will protect you. Right, Logan?”
“Uh, yeah,” Logan nervously coughed, “of course.”
“It’s settled then! Horror movie it is! I’ll take the chair, you two can have the couch.”
Laura plopped down in the chair and pulled a blanket over her lap. You bit your lip as you slowly sat down on one end of the couch. Logan glanced at the spot immediately next to you, silently debating on if he should sit there. He decided to let you have some space, not wanting to force proximity upon you. Logan sat down on the opposite end of the couch. You were surprised at how disappointed you felt when he didn’t choose to sit right beside you. Laura leaned over and flipped off the lights after starting the movie.
Logan’s focus wasn’t on the movie, but on you. His hands were grasping at his jeans as he tried to prevent himself from reaching out and pulling you into his lap at every wince and whimper that came from you. He hated that Laura put this on, knowing that you didn’t enjoy these types of movies.
Suddenly, there was a big jump scare that practically had you jumping across the couch. You reached out and your hand gripped onto Logan’s bicep in a death grip. Even through his shirt, he could feel your skin heating up. Or was it his because you were touching him? Before his brain could fully short-circuit, Logan moved closer.
“Sorry,” you whispered, yanking your hand away.
He shook his head. “No need, doll,” he quietly responded.
You kept your hands tucked between your thighs, feeling embarrassed for gripping his arm like that. But, all too soon, your were jumping again, scared of what was playing on the screen. Your arm seemed to have a mind of its own as it slipped through Logan’s. Your head buried into his bicep. Logan tensed, though you didn’t notice. You were using him to feel safe, right? That meant you felt safe with him. Logan kept still, not wanting you to pull away from him.
“It’s… uh, over now,” Logan told you. “You can look.”
“Thanks,” you muttered, pulling away and leaving Logan longing for your touch.
The two of you were sitting much closer than you were before, sides pressed together. Logan clenched and unclenched his fists as he tried to not overthinking it all. You were taking measured breaths, now thinking more about how close you were to Logan than the movie. Another scary moment had you jumping again and practically shoving yourself into Logan. His arm wrapped around you quickly as your face pressed into his shoulder.
“I got you, darlin’,” he whispered, absentmindedly pressing comforting a kiss to your head. “I’ll protect you.” You nodded as he pulled you closer.
For the next few scenes, Logan told you when to look and when to look away. Laura watched it all with a smirk on her face. Suddenly, she decided that her job was done and she stood up, faking a big stretch and yawn.
“I’m tired,” she announced. “I’m going to bed.
“What?” You questioned. “You chose this awful movie and now you’re just going to leave?”
“Logan’s here. You’ll survive. Night.” Then she quickly disappeared down the hall before anything else could be said.
“We could… uh,” Logan cleared his throat, “we could change the movie. If you want.”
“You wouldn’t mind?” You questioned. “I really don’t think I can sleep after that.”
“Of course.”
You leaned over and took the remote from Laura’s chair before leaning back into Logan, not even thinking twice. “You care what I put on?”
“Not at all.”
You nodded and quickly turned on your favorite Disney animated movie. Logan reached over to the basket of blankets on the side and threw it over the two of you. You tossed him a thankful smile before leaning further into him and focusing on the screen. As the movie played, Logan could feel you relax more and more until he heard the sound of soft snores coming from you. He looked down and you were sound asleep. You looked so peaceful. The lines on your face were relaxed. Your mouth was slightly open. Logan didn’t realize how in pain you always looked until this moment and it broke his heart. He figured you probably didn’t realize how much pain you were in all the time, growing used to it.
Logan thought about carrying you to your bed and tucking you in, but he didn’t want to break this moment just yet. He was enjoying having you in his arms, relaxed, and where he could protect you. It would put you to bed once the movie was done. At least that’s what he told himself. As the movie continued, Logan’s eyes grew heavier until he couldn’t fight it anymore. His head fell back and he was asleep.
~~~
Laura woke up in the morning to find the tv still on and you and Logan cuddled together, asleep on the couch. She smiled, happy to see her mom so relaxed. She took out her phone and quickly snapped Deciding to go grab some breakfast for everyone, Laura slipped her jacket and shoes on. Before she could open the door, it swung open, barely missing her.
“Your Savior has arri—“ Before Wade could finish, Laura kicked him out into the hallway and carefully shut the door behind him. “Hey, Little Wolf, that wasn’t a very nice welcome! Especially after putting all that work in to find a cure for our Little Flame.”
“Don’t care,” she responded. “I can’t have you waking them.”
“Them? What are you talking about?”
She motioned towards the door with her head. “See for yourself.”
Wade went over to the door and opened it enough to peek his head in. “Oh, shit!” His eyes widened as he saw you and Logan asleep on couch. “Are they— Did they— when?”
Laura pulled him away from the door and shut it again. “Nothing’s happened. They’re still just friends. We had a movie night last night and they fell asleep, that’s all.”
“Glad I didn’t miss all the good stuff then.”
“There’s still plenty of time for you to help with the matchmaking.”
“Oh, I plan on it.”
“So, did you do it? Did you find a cure for my mom?”
“I think so, Little Wolf.” He slipped a vial of red liquid out of his Deadpool suit. “If this works, she’ll have her full powers again and we will get our Little Flame for a long time.”
“I hope it works.”
“Me, too, Little Wolf. Me, too.”
open arms - jana el alfy x reader
warnings : angst a lil , idk what else , not rly proofread
summary : you missed one of janas games due to your plans.
a/n : this is short but ive been wanting to write so yeah
——————————————————————————
today was game day for jana & her team. “do you know if you’re going to be able to come tonight? ill get you really good tickets!” jana asked you as she rolled over to your side of the bed. “well, i dont really know. i have a midterm tonight at 6pm, so ill see if i can make it. no guarantees though.” you told her as you finger-coiled the last strand of hair.
it was already 7:32 when you finished your midterm for one of your classes. janas game ended at 8pm, but you were exhausted. you were wondering if you should go, or go home and rest. eventually you went home and texted jana that you wouldn’t be able to make it, knowing she wouldn’t see it but just sending it incase she was wondering where you were.
you were in the kitchen when jana had walked into the apartment. “hey how was the game?” you asked her with a soft smile on your face. “it was alright. i noticed you didn’t come, again.” jana said, not trying to make eye contact with you. “im really tired jana im sorry. the exam took everything out of me.” you replied, trying to break the tension between you too. jana didn’t respond, instead she placed her things down and walked to the room and shut the door behind her.
“why are you mad? i would’ve went if I didn’t have this test.” you said as you opened the door to the room, and stood in the doorway. “im just frustrated because you’ve missed my last 3 games in a row. and i understand that you were busy today, but— i dont even know.” she said, she didn’t want to finish the sentence because she didn’t even know why she was mad. you were busy today, but the last two games you weren’t. instead you ditched her games for some plans you made months in advance, in your defense.
you sat and processed what she just said. you sat on the bed as you spoke back to her. “im sorry jana i really am but i had plans that you knew about for months in advance! when I made the plans I didn’t know your schedule.” you told her, trying to fix the situation. “ it’s fine, trust me babe.” jana replied in a comforting tone. she know you probably thought she was mad at you or something but she wasn’t at all. “im sorry again, do u wanna just watch our movies?” you replied back to jana. you and her had a little playlist of movies that you guys watched together, and now they’re your guys favorite movies.
you guys ended up just watching some of each others favorite movies & cuddling with each other. “i love you, so much.” you told jana as you yawned, obviously tired, but wanting to stay up just to absorb this moment with her.
Hi, I hope all is well. I was wondering if you could do a Jacob x reader imprint with Paul?
Reader is Jacob's imprint, but so is Renesmee. Since Jacob has also loved Bella and he ended up imprinting on Renesmee, he loves being with them. He has an imprint his age and also happens to be Paul's best friend. The reader makes plans and invites Jacob, but he always picks Renesmee over the reader because he doesn't actually like the reader. Paul finds out from Rachel that Jacob has been bulling reader and telling her she's not good enough and wishes he never imprinted on her and how Nessie is so much better and he can't wait to marry her when she's older. Paul gets pissed when he finds this out, and he also confronts Ranchel, saying that he's heard her say rude stuff about the reader to the other imprints and has gotten into a physical fight with her. Paul goes to the beach to find the reader and sees her jump from where he and the guys do . He freaks out, and his wolf tells him to save his imprint. Can it be long and have smut?
heyy everything is great hope all is well for you !😸 sure i would love to do this hope you enjoy :)
delete forever - jacob x reader ft. paul
The wise man looked between you both as you sat still, soaking in every word.
Imprinting.
It sounded foreign but yet so familiar in your ears. Jacob takes a look at you, it’s hard to read his expression which was new. You were used to being able to have a guess at what he was thinking.
“Are you alright, son?” Billy Black asked when he was finished.
Jacob stuck his lips out a bit nonchalantly before nodding, “Yeah. I’m good.”
Silence surrounds the small table. The scoot of the chair moves backwards as Jacob then tells his dad that he’s leaving.
“Where are you going, son?”
“Just going over Paul’s.”
“Y/N, why don’t you go? Rachel’s there.” Billy suggests with a smile. Jacob freezes at the door.
“S-sure.” you say.
You and Jacob ride in his car in silence. You were too afraid to ask questions. He didn’t care too much to get them out of you.
“Wassup, man.” Jacob says and goes in with the handshake, Paul hits his back once and waves to you. You wave back.
“Yup. She’s my imprint.” he says. There’s no feeling for you to detect. Rachel looks at you as you sat meekly on the couch.
“She is?” she asks her brother. He nods in confirmation.
“Congrats to you both. Now Jake can stop getting on me and Rach’s nerves.” Paul chuckles. Jacob laughs sarcastically.
You smile a bit and Rachel doesn’t offer you a kind look as she continues to stare at you.
You look down.
“Rachel’s party is this weekend. Y/N are you coming?” Paul offers.
“Is she?” Rachel asks.
“She should.” Paul says to her before looking back to you.
“Sure..Will you be there, Jake?” you ask quietly.
“I’ll probably show my face. I should bring Bella.” he says.
“Yeah! Bring Bella.” Rachel says with more enthusiasm. Jacob grinned.
“I thought you didn’t like her?” Paul asks.
“Well..She’s a good gift giver.” Rachel defended with. Paul shakes his head with a slight roll of his eyes.
Billy Black calling you surprised you the next day, early in the morning.
“You…Imprinted on Renesmee too?” you ask him carefully. You watch the grin on his face grow as you both sat on his living room couch.
“Yeah.”
“But…She’s…She’s young.”
“I’m going to be her protector. I am her protector.” Jacob says in total defense mode, it caught you off guard. He’s never sounded that way when speaking about you.
“Why two imprints?” you ask Billy.
“We are thinking it’s to reward Jacob for stepping up to be the Alpha. He gets to actually choose.” Billy says.
Ever since that day, it felt like you had to fight for his attention.
“Want to go to the movies?” you ask as you knew for a fact he loved action movies.
“Nah…I’m going with Nessie.”
“To see a Disney movie? Come on, Jake.” you say through the phone.
“You asked and I said no. Okay?” he says and hang up. You stare at the phone in total disbelief.
You sat by yourself as you watched Rachel greet guests and dance. You came by yourself because when you asked Jacob for a ride, he said the car was full from him picking Bella and Renesmee up.
Bullshit.
You tell this to Paul when he gives you something to drink while asking where Jacob was and why you both didn’t come together.
“I thought Bella couldn’t be here because of the treaty?”
“You know Jacob. He made an exception for her. Now that…Nessie….Is his imprint, it’s allowed by the elders.” Paul whispered.
He sits next to you to keep you company. It wasn’t long before Rachel shimmied over to him and grab his hands, “Dance with me!”
Paul chuckled, “You’re drunk already?”
“I’m just tipsy.” she slurred.
“Sure.” he replied dripping in sarcasm.
You watch as Paul danced with Rachel. You kind of wish it was like that with you and Jacob. They weren’t imprinted but yet, they were defining the odds.
Paul joked all the time that he did so much that even his ancestors believed he shouldn’t be tied with someone. His bloodline would end with him. He still hasn’t found his imprint. Just to be safe, he didn’t mind getting cozy with Rachel because she was apart of his tribe.
“Bella! Nessie!” You hear and there they are, standing with gifts for Rachel. Renesmee gives a shy hug to Rachel and you watched a rare sight. Rachel hugged Bella. Jacob smiled at the moment until he looked over at you watching them.
After Paul mingled about, Paul tells you that he’s only grabbing Rachel’s cake and he will be right back.
“The girls are in the backyard. I’m sure you’re bored of the guys.” he says while grinning.
The sports game was playing as the pack make deep conversation about the plays.
You slowly get up and go to the backyard.
Renesmee sits on Bella’s lap as the girls sit at a table while laughing loudly and talking.
Every eye goes to you once you come out.
“Hey.”
“Hey.” they all say off key and awkwardly.
They watch you take a chair and sit in total silence. They blink at you for a moment before one speaks out, “Why do you do that?”
You look up to Jared’s imprint, Kim.
“Do…What?”
“Just sit there.”
“Because she’s a little slow. Leave her alone.” Rachel says. They burst into a laughing fit.
You look down as you felt angry at such low blow of an insult.
“Don’t be rude.” Bella says low.
“What? Well, she acts like it. No wonder Jacob would rather hang with an extroverted child than someone his own age.”
You get up and make your way to the door, leaving the backyard. You didn’t want to hear them talk, they continued to talk and laugh even with you out of the room.
You were silent as everyone else happily sing happy birthday to Rachel. You blink as she blew out her candles.
You sit again by yourself after she opens gifts.
“Can you give me a ride to Port Angeles? Please!” Quil asks Paul once the night was late.
“Dude, seriously?”
“Please. I will give you gas money and everything. I’m linking up with this girl and she’s...” he then whistles a bit as he thinks about what she looks like.
Paul sighs loudly before he grits, “Get in the car.”
Paul smooched Rachel before telling her he will be back.
He then tells you, “Go ahead and take some cake home. It’s going to do nothing but sit there anyways.”
You quietly tell him thank you and he leaves out.
You walk through the home and Jacob kneels as he helped Renesmee with her jacket.
“You’re leaving?” you ask.
“Yeah.” Jacob says quietly.
“Oh.”
“Yeah, I’ll see you later.” he says quickly and grabs the child’s hand as his tone changed, “Come on, Ness.”
You enter the kitchen and the giggling stopped once again.
“What do you think you’re doing?” Rachel demanded from the table.
You held up the knife, “I’m just getting some cake.”
“Who said?”
“Um…Paul said I could take some home.”
“Answer me this. Is it Paul’s birthday? Or is it my birthday?”
Giggles started to form and you eye the clock. It was after twelve.
“Neither. It’s past 12AM. Your day is officially over.”
Rachel stomped to you, “You’re trying to be funny?”
You stare blankly at her.
“Well, I got jokes.” she says and shoved you. Hard.
The knife was still in your hand as you stumbled back and you heard one of the imprints say, “Girl. She has a knife.”
Rachel grabs it out of your hand with no fear.
“You were gonna stab me with this?”
“N-no. I would never.” you stammer out. She sets it down on the counter with a clatter and takes your paper plate away with a snatch.
“I said…You’re not getting cake.”
“But-“
“What did I say?”
“Don’t be a bitch about it Rachel.” you say.
Gasps and ooh’s erupt the room as they instigate.
A hard slap hits your face. You tearfully hit her back before Rachel grabs a fist full of your hair and you both punch at each other before people get Rachel off of you.
“I’m gonna be a bitch if I want to. It’s my birthday. Mine.” she says.
You bounce your leg when you prayed Jacob would pick up the phone as you sat on the beach. The party was a week ago and you haven’t seen him since.
“Speak.” he says after the second time you call. Impatience was the last thing that he suppressed.
“Um..Hi.”
“What do you want, Y/N. I’m kind of busy right now.”
“I just wanted to hang out.” you say and let him know that you’re at the beach.
He sighs on the other side of the call, “Did you seriously call me just to come hang out with you a beach. Like, are you seriously forreal right now?”
“Yeah..I just..”
“Look. I get that you’re my imprint and all but we can be…Acquaintances.”
“Acquaintances.” you repeat back like a parrot.
“Yeah…”
You watched when you would go over Billy’s house how the little girl had Jacob in the palm of her hand. She was innocent. Him, not so much. He was babysitting her and he ordered you around like you were staff.
“Get her a cup.” he ordered you.
You set the cup down and he poured her juice as he cooed to her.
“Do you play dolls?” Renesmee asks you as she innocently stands while you watch television.
You smile and before you could open your mouth, Jacob enters, “I can play with you, Nessie.”
“Can Y/N join?” She says with excitement.
“No. Come on, Ness.”
Footsteps retreat as you soon heard the bin of Rachel’s old dolls be poured on the floor.
That’s what you did when you had to hear the time that they were spending together. It was hard to just leave because the pain in your chest was only soothed when you were around him.
You began to think you were in hell.
It was a sunny day on the beach and Paul sort of invited you last minute when he noticed that everyone except you were there.
“Want to make a sandcastle?” you heard Jacob ask Renesmee. She nods happily and grabs her bucket.
You slowly walk over as they were building. Jacob’s face drips with annoyance.
“Can I help?” you ask.
Renesmee smiles and gives you a shovel and you sit on your knees in the sand.
“We’re good, Y/N.”
“What’s wrong with trying to help?” you mutter.
“You messed up what we were building.”
Resnesmee leaves off to refill her bucket.
“It’s fine. I’ll just fix it.”
“Would you quit it?” he hissed.
You freeze.
“Damn! You….” he huffed angrily, “Why the hell did I even imprint on you, huh?” he says to you only you could hear.
“Why are you talking like that?”
“Because I’m frustrated! I choose Nessie. Not you. So, you don’t have to keep inserting yourself because you don’t soothe me or my wolf. She does. You’re not good enough for us. Nessie is. When she grows up, she will be able to see our bond and we can get married and I can’t wait. Until then, butt out.”
You drop the shovel as your sight began to be blurry. Your heart broke in a clean split. Resnesmee watched in confusion as she tries to return to the sandcastle with a bucket full of fresh wet sand.
“Are you leaving?” she asks in a small voice. You nod sadly not wanting to let a child see you cry.
“Have fun, okay?” you say with a smile that you tried your best to muster up and walk off.
You look over before leaving and Jacob is immersed in the time he’s spending with Renesmee. He looked up once and the look gave you a shiver down your spine. Almost like disgust.
You accept this. Jacob didn’t want you. You definitely didn’t want him. As you went home, you felt like you were leaving the bond right at the beach.
That night, Paul sat on the edge of the bed with his hands clasped together.
“He said all of that?” Paul asks quietly with furrowed eyebrows.
Rachel chuckled a bit, “Yeah. That’s why she left.”
Paul sighed in disbelief.
“He stays bullying her. He must really hate the imprint bond they have.” she says as she laughs.
“The fuck are you laughing for?” Paul speaks darkly.
She pauses as she looks at Paul’s dark demeanor. He turns to her and expects her to answer so he asks her another question, “What? You think that shit is funny?”
She’s silent as she looks at him.
He rolls his eyes and turns back forward.
“You’re acting like I’m the one who said that.” she tells him.
“I’m not dumb Rachel and you’re pretending like I am and that’s pissing me off.”
“How? Did I call you dumb?” she quizzed him.
“No, but I know what you did at your party.”
Silence dropped like a dead weight.
“Forgot to get my keys when it was time to drop Quil off. I heard you talking shit with all of the imprints. Why did you feel the need to put your hands on her?”
“She had a knife! She embarrassed me on my birthday!”
“She’s better than me. Blood would’ve shed.”
Rachel scoffs, “You’re such a weirdo.”
“Takes one to know one. Isn’t that right?”
Rachel rolls her eyes and grabs your belongings, “I’m out.”
Paul didn’t care. The door slammed and he lay back in bed as he made plans to apologize to you on behalf of both Rachel and Jacob.
He blinked awake as he made his way to your house. You weren’t there. He knew your next favorite place was the beach.
He scanned the shore but didn’t see you either. He puts two hands on his hips as he knew for a fact you wouldn’t go to Jacob’s, especially not after what happened.
He saw a figure, high up on a cliff. He called your name but you couldn’t hear him. He called it again with two hands around his mouth to echo it. No use.
He ran to where he would have to get to the top of the cliffs.
The wind whipped on your skin as you stare down at the moving water.
You close your eyes. You blindly jump and Paul screamed your name louder as he was almost there to the top and seen your body jump off.
“Mine.”
“Imprint.”
“Save her.”
He listened to the determined voice of his wolf.
He dived right behind you.
You weren’t moving, you let the current of the water drag you down, pulling you into the darkness. The darkness that matched your damaged heart.
Paul’s strong hand pulled you out and he pressed and pressed on your chest on the shore until you gasped for air. Water couched out of your mouth as he sat you up. He rubbed your back as he patted it to make sure you coughed all of the water up.
You blink at him and it was like you saw an angel. The angel was Paul looking down at you in worry. It hit you both like whiplash as Jacob was forgotten. Rachel was forgotten. It was just you and him. You and him against the world. He saw a bright future. You saw a shimmer of hope.
He hugged your wet body then.
“Fuck…What the hell were you thinking, Y/N?” he whispered emotionally.
You couldn’t speak. He didn’t pressure you to.
You peel off your clothes in the bathroom and set them outside of the bathroom door like Paul instructed. He threw them in the dryer while you stood in the shower. You don’t rush.
Your mind racked with wonders and fear but your heart reminded you that you were right where you belonged. As you scrubbed your skin, you felt yourself being able to call his house, your home. You shake your head.
You clutched the towel as you sat on the toilet lid. You didn’t want to leave and face Paul.
A knock at the door startled you a bit.
“Yes?” you answer with a small voice.
“Are you alright? You’ve been in there for a while. Your clothes are dry.”
You were shocked that you were in the bathroom for that long.
You twist open the door but you sit back down on the toilet lid.
“Y/N? What’s going on?” he asks carefully. You clutched your towel tighter.
You opened your mouth but the words wouldn’t fall from the tip of your tongue.
He kneels in front of you.
“I heard what happened yesterday. It was fucked up.” he whispered. You look down.
“I don’t know if…I dont know if it’s me just completely heartbroken…But, when you saved me…It felt like it did when I looked at Jacob for the first time.”
“Y/N, I imprinted on you. That’s why you felt what you felt.”
Your bottom lip wobbled, “Just reject it. Reject it please. Delete forever.” you say and shake your head.
“No. No way in hell I’m doing that.”
“My old imprint threw me away like garbage. Don’t toy with me. Just let me know where my clothes are.” you say as you get up but the towel fell from your distress. Paul bit back on his lip before a shaky hand picked up your towel. You leave out the bathroom as you glanced about in the hallway.
He gently takes your arm.
“I’m not toying with you….Jacob is an idiot.” he says quietly.
You don’t say anything still not believing him but you couldn’t detect the lie you were looking for.
“Look at me.” he says encouragingly soft.
You look up.
He then slowly smiled, “Are you listening?”
You slowly nod.
“I feel on top of the world right now…Being around you brings me peace…Do I bring you peace?”
You think for a moment before you eventually nod. He rubbed your arms. His touch made you melt like ice cream on a hot summer day.
“You don’t ever have to worry about them, alright?” he says. You nod again.
“Do you…Accept the imprint with me?” he asks nervously. You never seen him nervous before. You nod again.
“No, I want to hear you say it.”
You crack open your mouth and whisper out a very sure yes. The smile he gave you made your heart pound in your ears.
Slowly, the gap between you two were closed as he placed a sweet kiss on your lips. You blink as you pull back. His thumb brushed your bottom lip to keep them slightly open. He leans in again. It was addicting just to do. You raise your hands to touch his face while he titled his head into the kiss.
You gasp as you realized that the towel had dropped again.
“Don’t worry about it.” he says in your ear, he pulled you to him and you felt the delicious heat from his skin.
His hands make your body respond in ways you never knew it could. The kiss was more sensual and passionate. You’ve never been kissed like that before and you found out very quickly that you liked it.
He takes your hand and let you feel the hardness in his shorts. He groaned in your mouth as you break out a breathy but soft moan.
He lifts you in his arms as if you were the most delicate china dish known to man.
Laying back, you pant slightly as you look at him. He shoved his shorts down and takes your hand again to feel him. He was so heavy and so veiny.
Breaths were heavy as you watch him groan and move his hips while you held him in your hand.
He goes in for another kiss which makes you feel achy and horny. You’ve been excited before but this was something different.
A set of warm hands caressed your body as you lay back on his comfortable bed.
Lips and tongue circled the nipples the your breast before he sleeked his fingers in your wet center. You sigh out.
He relaxed your thighs as he whispered for you to keep them open for him. You stutter out your breaths as he licked and ate at the moist center that was in his face.
His hands never stopped feeling your skin and you felt like you were in flames.
You didn’t know what was what. All you knew was that it was daylight when you arrived to it now being dark.
You breathe in and out when you pushed him away from not being able to take it anymore. You crawl away from him but he follows you.
On your hands and knees, you moan out shakily as he kept gliding himself in between you as his hands were firm on your waist and hips. He picked up the pace and you wished he was inside of you as he did so because it felt so good that you were crumbling all over again. He held you against him with your back to his chest as you fell apart once again.
He kissed your neck and felt the front of you. His hand caressed the center that was dripping wet.
Circling and dipping his fingers, you gripped his strong arms as you whined his name. Your hips moved to the sunken fingers that were inside of you as he traced his tongue with your ear. Your body gives out as you saw the same stars once again.
He lays you on your back as he slowly entered into you. He makes sure to keep your nub stimulated with his thumb as he does so.
You felt so full as you blinked at the darkness.
He moved and you felt like you were melting inside and out. He felt like he was in a wet dream. Both of you were so in the zone of each other, that you both forgot how to breathe at times.
Sitting hand in hand at Billy’s table, he smiled to you.
“When a door closes, a window will open.” he tells you both.
You look at each other with a smile that each other displayed to show that you both were happy. The feelings were mutual.
Hyunjin's Love and Leashes ( part 4 ) Office Blowout
fem*Reader x Hyunjin
*WARNING*
WC: 2.9k
Contains: mentions of sexual content, and BDSM references, second hand embarrassment, this is going to be a lot of parts and little parts to it (there is a cliffhanger at the end)
Also note: This story is HEAVLY influenced by the Netflix movie Love and Leashes. This is just "my" version of it, you could say. I am writing to write and I recommend you watch Love and Leashes. *** This is not an original idea, this IS INSPIRED BY A MOVIE/ANIME**
****
part 1 part 2 part 3
***
Month 2
2 months before the contract ends
In the weeks that followed, you let your imagination run wild with every session.
You continued your research to be more prepared, which led you to the candles you found online. They were safe and specifically designed for burning on the skin.
You booked another room in another hotel and let him rest in the grand bathtub in the bathroom. Lit candles were placed around every corner, lighting the room dimly as Hyunjin rested peacefully. He let his whole body relax, his eyes closed, and his heart steady. You walked over with your special candle in hand and traced your finger down the spine of his back. His muscles contracted in anticipation, but when the first droplet of melted wax hit his skin, his back reacted like clouds, creating a storm. His hushed moans filled the air as you painted his skin.
Then, the following week, you decided that sensory play was the best play you both shared. You gathered objects that made his skin crawl with goosebumps.
Ever since your last “session,” the only thing tying you two together besides work has been stolen glances and hidden commands.
You would hide commands at work, ensuring Hyunjin understood who was in control, even outside the playpen.
“Hyunjin, go grab me the schedule from my desk,” you would say, something completely hidden from everyone else, but the second you made any sort of demand, Hyunjin would sit up straight, a beautiful blush spreading across his cheeks.
You could tell when he thought of that night, the night he traced his lips across your bare skin. You couldn’t deny that you thought of it, too, almost every night. You could feel the faintness of his lips; you could imagine the hunger in his eyes…
“Y/N?” you snap back to the presentation before you.
“Yes,” you say, clearly trying to act unbothered.
“Umm, anyways, as I was saying,” the presentation continues, and you can hear Hyunjin smirk beside you. His cheeks are the faintest bit of pink, but his smile is mischievous.
As the presentation goes on, you slowly lose interest. As words drag and sentences seem endless, you wonder when this meeting will end and how long you really have to be here.
Hyunjin coughs beside you, and you immediately turn your head to look at him. That’s when you notice he’s wearing the glasses you gave him. He seems unbothered and oblivious, as if his body embodies calmness. However, when he adjusts his glasses slightly, his eyes glance toward you, almost as if he’s sending you a hidden message…and you understand instantly.
If anything has taught you about Hyunjin in the past few days and…sessions, it’s taught you how to read him. The difference lies in when he wants attention and when he wants to be dominated. Your spine straightens, and a devilish smirk spreads across your lips.
The presentation soon ends, but you have one last comment: “Thank you for these notes; I’ll get right on them, but I need to discuss something with Mr. Hwang. May we have the room, please?” You ask politely. As each member of your team begins to leave, everyone seems none the wiser.
****************
He can’t explain why he did what he did. You both agreed that even when he needed your dominance in the workplace, it wouldn’t interrupt a meeting of any kind. So why did he give you the signal?
Maybe because he was addicted to you, ever since that session where he grazed your skin, he couldn’t stop thinking about you. And not just what other parts of your body he could graze, but just you. The way you scrunched your nose when you had a good meal. Or the way your laugh left your lips like a summer breeze. Or just your confidence in everything you did. He was falling, and he was falling fast.
Once the last member of your team leaves, Hyunjin watches as you crane your head back to him with a wicked smile. “What did you need, pretty boy?”
He’ll never admit it, but he secretly loves it when you call him that. Such a praising nickname said in such a degrading way; it made the tent in his pants tighten. “Y-you,” he stumbles.
“Here?” you ask, still smiling.
He nods his head, already at a loss for words. “Tsk tsk tsk,” you shake your head in mock disappointment, “when anyone could see you.” He didn’t miss the fact you said ‘you.’ Almost acting like you didn’t care to get caught, only thinking about his position in all this, his embarrassment. Why did that make his body want to sing? Want to explode with pent-up tension….. It was official: you were going to kill him, and he was going to have a big fat smile on his face when he died.
“Answer me,” you demanded.
He flinched at your sudden tone and stumbled out a shaky “yes.”
He can see a flicker in your eyes, but you keep your confidence.
“Be here after work. I need to teach you a lesson,” you say in the most addictive voice he thinks he’s ever heard.
****( 4 hours later )
You made him flinch. You’ve never seen him flinch like that. Was your tone too strong? Maybe you shouldn’t have been so direct with him….
No. He asked for you to be direct and practically control him. Besides, if he were really scared, he would have said so.
Still, doubts cloud your mind as your and everyone’s shifts come to an end. “Hey,” one of your coworkers pokes their head in through your office door, “me and some others are going for drinks afterward. Wanna come?”
“Nah, can’t,” you say. “Already got plans,” you smile kindly. If they only knew your ‘plans’ included something much more sinister.
They nodded out the door and headed for the elevators, where the last of your team had separated. You had told Hyunjin to return to the meeting room after work, so when you walked in and saw Hyunjin sitting in the same chair in the same spot as before, you weren’t surprised.
You walk into the meeting room, your body in a rush of warmth.
*********
“You needed me. In the middle of a meeting. Why?” Your voice is cold, cold as ice that pierces the silence of the room.
His eyes can’t meet yours. He’s so ashamed of his thoughts he can’t bear to look at you. “Why!” you raise your voice slightly, and he snaps his eyes to yours.
“I-I—” he stutters. How does he explain? He simply can’t. If he did, he would say that he is helplessly falling in love with the woman he asked to be his dominant, but the thought alone makes his stomach turn.
“You what?” you say, your brows pulling in confusion.
“I’m sorry,” he’s defeated. Words are lost, and his head hangs low. “I- I don’t know what came over me. I got jealous and needy and I don’t know. I’m sorry.”
A pause. A breath of silence fills the air, his words hanging like bait. “Take off your belt.” Blood rushes to his ears, his whole face red and heated.
“Wha-”
“Do you trust me?” Your voice drips like honey, smooth and enticing.
“Yes,” he breathes, a hint of anticipation in his tone. Deliberately, he removes his belt, the leather sliding through the hoops of his dress pants with a tantalizing slowness. You snatch the thick material from his hands, your fingers brushing against his skin as you stretch it across your palm.
“Stand there,” you command, pointing to the edge of the table, your eyes locking onto his.
Hyunjin moves to obey, leaning against the table with his palms gripping the edge. He casts a quick glance at you, catching the sight of your wet lips and the frantic spark in your eyes, but your posture remains unwavering.
The air thickens with tension, and a heartbeat of silence extends before you raise the belt high above your head. You bring it down against the table with a swift motion, the crack echoing like a thunderclap. He flinches, the sound electrifying, igniting a thrilling rush that races down his spine. It's a feeling he never knew he craved, each sharp sound pulling him deeper into the moment, hungry for the next taste of exhilaration.
“Was that so bad?” your voice lingers in the air, wrapping around him like silk. His chest rises and falls with heavy, intoxicating breaths.
His gaze locks onto yours, and you find yourself holding your breath. The vibrant spark in his eyes has dimmed, replaced by a smoldering darkness that sends a shiver down your spine and ignites something deep within.
Hyunjin straightens, a predatory grace in his movements, his knuckles gripping the edge of the table, white with need. “Do it again,” he whispers, each word dripping with desire.
He sits there. And he takes his punishment, letting the slash of his belt pierce the air from how you hit it on the counter. It makes him flinch, but it also sends a wave of electricity through his body, something he can’t describe, something he’s never felt before.
He’s never trusted anyone so much in his life. Someone he would trust not to hurt him but tiptoe just above the edge of pain.
“Do you really think I would do this to just anyone?” you scream.
And then you stop. The chilling air freezes in place, and the silence is so thick you could cut it with a knife. You take a careful step towards him. He shuts his eyes so tightly that tears begin to build, but he refuses to let them fall, not yet.
He can hear your body shuffle, and then a delicate hand is placed on his cheek. He keeps his eyes closed but leans into the touch, grazing his rosy cheeks. And that is when he feels it. Plush lips pressing against his in a kiss he can barely register. It's so soft he can barely feel it. You were so gentle that he almost didn’t kiss you back.
He struggles to let go of the table, but his body stays still, unwilling to reach for you. Instead, his lips press forward, seeking a deeper kiss. He pours his heart and soul into every movement, and tears stream down his cheeks. You gently bring him closer, resting your forehead against his while your thumbs tenderly wipe away his tears.
The belt was long forgotten on the ground. You both stay their in silence, Hyunjin studying every breath you release, roses. He smelt those same roses. His eyes closed as he breathed deeply, his lungs swelled with that familiar smell and a smile danced along his lips. “Are you okay?” you said. Your voice shaky, that recent dominate tone gone and forgotten and replaced by something gentle, careful.
“So much better than okay” he replies, his hands finally leaving the edge of the table and grabbing hold of your waist.
“Don’t worry I just left it in here” a voice call out beyond the meeting room door.
Both you and Hyunjin’s eyes snap to the door…. Shit.
*****
Shit. Shit .Shit.
No one. No one can see you like this. Panic courses through your veins like ice water, and every heartbeat feels like a silent drumroll of dread pounding against your ribcage. Hyunjin, ever perceptive, mirrors the raw panic etched across your face, his eyes wide and glistening with fear.
Footsteps thud ominously behind the door, each echo reverberating through the air like a countdown to impending doom. Your breath hitches in your throat as you sense the crushing weight of your situation pressing down on you. It’s only moments before the jingle of the doorknob slices through the tense silence, a chilling prelude to what’s about to unfold. “What do we do?” Hyunjin whispers, his voice trembling with pure horror.
Your lips part in a silent gasp, and your eyes widen as they dart around the cramped room, searching for a way out that isn’t there. The air is heavy and suffocating, thick with the scent of fear and desperation. Your heart sinks into the pit of your stomach when the doorknob rattles, sending a fresh wave of panic surging through you. In a frantic rush, you grab the collar of Hyunjin’s shirt, pulling him down toward the cold, unforgiving floor. You collapse with him, your pulse racing like a wild drum.
“Ah, here it is,” a voice calls from just beyond the door, dripping with malice. Instinctively, you bite down hard on your lip to suppress a whimper, and with a surge of urgency, you slam your hand over Hyunjin’s mouth, stifling any sound that could betray your hiding place.
“Alright, alright, I’m coming,” the voice continues, each word sending icy tendrils of fear spiraling through you. You hear the door click shut, sealing off the fleeting moment of hope. In that instant, the tension in the room is palpable. Both of you release a shuddering breath, but the momentary relief is short-lived as reality crashes back in.
Memories race to the front of your mind like a gun shooting into the abyss. You brace yourself on your hands above Hyunjin. His cheeks are a lovely shade of pink, but no matter how delicate he looks, no matter how badly you want to feel his lips against yours again. This has all gone far enough. You get up quickly, heart racing as you straighten your outfit and smooth down your hair. Hyunjin mirrors you, but he’s a mess—his outfit is disheveled, his hair tousled, and the worry in his eyes is palpable. He’s terrified you’ll leave, and it grips you.
“I should go. It’s getting late,” you say, avoiding his gaze, the weight of his stare making it hard to breathe.
“Wait, please,” he pleads, reaching for your arm, but you’re already striding toward the door. Each echo of your heels feels like a countdown.
“Y/N, please,” he calls out, urgency lacing his voice.
You hit the elevator button, keeping your eyes fixed forward. You might lose your resolve completely if you dare meet those crystalline eyes again.
“Y/N, look at me, please.” His voice is laced with desperation, tearing at your heart. “Tell me that kiss didn’t scare you away.”
The elevator dings open, and you step inside, spinning around to press the button that seals you both in this small space. Hyunjin slips in right after you, and for a split second, you notice how out of place his tie is and how ruffled his shirt looks. It sends a jolt through you—a mix of desire and fear twisting in your belly.
As the doors close, he stands so close that you can feel the heat radiating from him. “Y/N…” His breathy voice calls to you, normally a melody you’d savor, but now it feels like a siren’s song pulling you deeper into chaos. You both crossed a line, and that knowledge is suffocating. The contract may have left room for this kind of touch, but your own mental barriers were supposed to keep you safe from this kind of connection.
“This is too dangerous; too much is at risk,” you think, panic gripping you. “Goddamn it, Y/N!” he suddenly exclaims, slamming the emergency stop button, bringing the elevator to an abrupt halt. He grabs your wrist, spinning you around until your back hits the wall, his arms pinning your wrists above your head.
The gasp escapes your lips, sharp and raw—so loud it could shatter glass. The roles reversed have your head spinning out of control.
“Will you please look at me?” You can’t look away. You're stunned to silence. Your chest is heaving.
“You- your,” he stumbles. His eyes are frantic, searching yours for something, anything that screams he crossed the line, but he doesn’t see it. He only sees a cocktail of lust and shock.
“I’m being dominated,” you let out in a whisper. You both giggle, but he makes no move to remove your wrists. Hyunjin’s eyes dart to your lips and up to your eyes quickly.
“Tell me that kiss didn’t scare you away,” his voice low to your ear, but his eyes hold an intensity that makes your heart swell. “It didn’t scare me,” you manage to reply, the words hanging in the air, heavy with unspoken desire. “I just—” The rest falters on your lips, caught in the heat of the moment. You glance up at the ceiling, seeking answers in the shadows above, but nothing comes. Biting your lip, you feel the thrill of vulnerability as you expose your neck, a silent invitation that hangs between you.
As if something urged him, Hyunjin leans forward. His lips smother your neck, and his teeth and tongue dance across your skin. A moan escapes you. Never would you have imagined Hyunjijn taking control in a situation like this. Taking the initiative like he would on any given day, but not with you. He always reserved his commanding side for the office, leaving the gentle, submissive side to you.
This was different. His kisses felt desperate and needed as if he were communicating a secret message with every kiss.
In that moment, you don’t think or want to think. All you crave is to feel—every desperate swipe of his tongue, every pleading caress of his lips.
“Hyunjin,” you gasp, and for a fleeting second, his confidence wavers. He pulls away, his eyes shimmering with uncertainty.
“Don’t leave,” he pleads, his voice thick with urgency. Those two words crumble your last defenses, unleashing a torrent of emotions that threaten to drown you, plunging you into a chaos you know is dangerous.
“I won’t,” you promise, though your heart races with fear and longing.
His smile is a lifeline, reaching his ears as he crashes his lips against yours, sealing this moment in desperation. “Come with me,” he urges, and your brow furrows in confusion. “Come home with me.”
I hope this finds you:
--
It’s been a week since you asked if we could stop being us and just stay as friends. A week already but for me, it still feels like it just happened. Like I just got home, shut the door, and finally let myself break down. That’s how this past week has felt, like I’m stuck in that exact moment, reliving it over and over.
Do I really have to accept that this is where we end? That friends is the farthest we’ll ever go? Do I have to accept that no matter what I do, you will never be ready for me? What if I wait a little longer? What if I give you more space? Would that change anything?
I know I shouldn’t, but I still find myself hoping for just one more hug, one more laugh, one more game to play, one more movie or series to watch, one more place to explore, one more time to hold your hand, one more moment where your eyes meet mine and everything feels right. But if I had a choice, I’d wish for all those one mores to equate into a lifetime.
Don’t ask me when I’ll move on, because right now, I’m not in Alfamart—I’m still in Bridgetown. I’m not where you left me; I’m still where we were happy and starting. And for now, that’s where I’ll stay. I’m not mad at you. I understand. You’re not ready, and looking back, I know I was too much to handle. But, just know that I’m not leaving this place anytime soon.
I’ll still be here, in case you ever decide you want to continue, to try, to finally commit. I’ll still be here if you need someone to talk to, if you have a convention to go to, if you need someone to comment on a giveaway — just like before. You can still talk to me like you used to. I promise, I won’t creep you out! 😄
But for now, let’s live our lives separately. Let’s become the best versions of ourselves. If not for each other, then for the people we’re meant to end up with someday.
I'm still in love you, Dabid. And like I said, I don’t think I’ll stop anytime soon. So, I’ll love you but in silence again.
20 Moments bf!Chris Made Your Heart Swell
bf!Chris who always makes sure you get home safe
It doesn’t matter if you’re out with friends, running errands, or just heading home from work—Chris won’t sleep until he knows you’re safe. "Text me when you get home," he always says. And if you forget? Your phone buzzes with a simple, "You home, love?" Every time, without fail.
bf!Chris who memorizes your coffee order
You never have to ask—he just knows. One morning, you were running late, and before you could even stress about skipping your caffeine fix, he handed you your usual. "Figured you’d need it," he said with a smirk.
bf!Chris who leaves his hoodies at your place on purpose
You always tell him he forgets them, but he never corrects you. "You just look cuter in them," he admits one night when you’re curled up in his hoodie, sleeves covering your hands.
bf!Chris who will literally drop anything for you
You once called him in the middle of a frustrating grocery run because the self-checkout machine wasn’t working. Five minutes later, he walked through the sliding doors, shaking his head with a grin. "Can’t leave you alone for one second, huh?"
bf!Chris who always pulls you closer in his sleep
Even when he’s dead asleep, his body knows where yours is. If you roll away, he’ll instinctively reach for you, mumbling something incoherent before tucking you against his chest.
bf!Chris who hypes you up over everything
New outfit? "Damn, my girl looks fine." Finished a book? "Look at you, a whole scholar." Made dinner? "Oh, we’re eating like royalty tonight!" No accomplishment is too small for his full support.
bf!Chris who gives you the last bite of everything
It doesn’t matter if it’s his favorite meal—if you want it, it’s yours. "Nah, I’m full," he’ll say, but you know he’s lying.
bf!Chris who kisses your forehead like it’s second nature
In the mornings, before he leaves, in the middle of conversations—it just happens. Sometimes, he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it. It’s just instinct.
bf!Chris who holds your hand under the table
Even in a crowded restaurant with all his friends, his hand finds yours. He doesn’t need to say anything—just having you close is enough.
bf!Chris who makes you feel like the only person in the world
At the end of the day, no matter what’s going on, he always makes time for you. "You good, baby?" he’ll ask, tucking a stray hair behind your ear. And when he looks at you, you know—there’s nowhere else he’d rather be.
bf!Chris who texts you “good morning” and “goodnight” every single day
Even if he’s right next to you, even if he saw you five minutes ago—he still sends them. "Just in case you forget how much I love you," he says with a smirk.
bf!Chris who instinctively rests his hand on your thigh when he’s driving
It’s not even a conscious thing anymore. The second he gets in the car, his hand finds your leg, his thumb absentmindedly tracing circles against your skin.
bf!Chris who takes random photos of you when you’re not looking
You’ll find them in his camera roll—some blurry, some candid, all taken with a quiet kind of love. "I just like having pictures of my girl," he shrugs when you catch him.
bf!Chris who brings you snacks when you’re working late
If you’re busy, he won’t interrupt—he’ll just quietly place your favorite snack next to you and press a quick kiss to your temple before walking away.
bf!Chris who randomly tucks your hair behind your ear
It doesn’t matter where you are—talking, eating, watching a movie—if your hair falls in your face, he gently brushes it back without a second thought.
bf!Chris who rubs your back until you fall asleep
Some nights, when your mind won’t shut off, he just runs his hand up and down your back in slow, soothing motions until you drift off.
bf!Chris who makes up the dumbest nicknames for you
Some are cute, some are questionable, but they’re all undeniably Chris. "Come on, snickerdoodle," he’ll say, completely serious.
bf!Chris who always waits for you to walk inside before driving off
Even if you tell him it’s fine, he won’t leave until he sees you step inside. "Just wanna make sure my girl’s safe," he says every time.
bf!Chris who always notices the little things
New earrings? "Cute." Different perfume? "You smell good, baby." Something’s off? "What’s wrong?" Nothing about you goes unnoticed.
bf!Chris who pulls you closer when someone flirts with you
He’s not the jealous type, but if someone’s being too bold, his arm finds your waist, his lips press against your temple, and his voice is soft but firm—"She’s with me."
As Hyunjin and Y/n's friendship progressed with Hyunjin randomly calling in the middle of the night and them yapping for hours before yeonjun finally tells them to shut up and sleep.Yup. Moments like these were more often then Y/n and Hyunjin liked but we're they stopping it? Not at all, infact they both so badly wanted to see each other's face again,to hear each other's voices and talk about random things together...
She sees Hyunjin outside her house,as she was putting on shoes, she finally gets out,locking the door walking to him with a smile "hi handsome"
As Hyunjin chuckles replying "Well hello to you too sweetheart" as they both laugh a little, she asks "where's yeji and Tess? I thought they were coming?" Hyunjin replies with a slight awkward look "uhm yeah they ditched us, apparently yeji had to go to the movies and Tess wanted to do shopping..although I saw them going together. Wait now that I think about it" he says with a slight surprised look as Y/n also gives a surprised but knowing smirk "no way... I fucking knew it. There's no way those girls ditched me so many times for the *washroom*"she says with a realizing face as both of them talk about yeji and Tess being suspicious,they get going in Hyunjins car to go to the amusement park.
Y/N’s POV
“You suck at this.”
Hyunjin gasped dramatically, placing a hand over his chest. “Excuse me? I’ll have you know I am a pro at claw machines.”
Y/N raised an eyebrow, arms crossed as she watched him fail for the fifth time in a row. “Uh-huh. Is that why you still haven’t gotten the teddy bear you swore you’d get for me?”
Hyunjin clenched his jaw, focusing harder on the small plush trapped behind the glass. He maneuvered the joystick carefully, eyes narrowed like his entire life depended on it.
Y/N bit back a smile. It was kind of cute seeing him like this.
Not that she’d tell him that.
“Alright,” Hyunjin muttered under his breath. “This is it.”
The claw dropped. Gripped the bear. Lifted—
And then—
It slipped. Again.
Y/N burst into laughter as Hyunjin groaned, throwing his head back. “Are you kidding me?”
“I told you,” she teased, nudging him. “You suck.”
He turned to her, eyes narrowing. “Oh, you think you can do better?”
“Obviously.”
Hyunjin smirked. “Alright, then, show me, pro.” He stepped aside, gesturing dramatically to the joystick.
Y/N stepped up confidently, inserting a coin. She maneuvered the joystick, barely thinking about it as she pressed the button.
The claw dropped. Gripped the bear. Lifted—
And stayed.
Hyunjin’s jaw dropped as the plush made it all the way to the chute.
Y/N bent down, pulling it out triumphantly. “And that’s how it’s done.”
Hyunjin scoffed, staring at her in disbelief. “You cheated.”
She grinned, hugging the teddy bear to her chest. “Nope. I’m just naturally gifted.”
Hyunjin rolled his eyes, but there was something soft in the way he looked at her.
Before she could question it, he reached out and ruffled her hair, messing it up completely.
“Hey!” she yelped, swatting his hand away.
Hyunjin only laughed, walking away. “Come on, let’s go get something to eat.”
Y/N huffed, fixing her hair as she followed after him.
She hated how easy it was with him.
How natural it felt.
Like she could stay by his side forever.
And maybe she wanted to.
But was she supposed to feel this? Wasn't Felix her only love? Her first love? And first love never fades apparently?....
TIME SKIP
“Alright, I should probably go—”
“No.”
Y/N blinked, turning to Hyunjin, who sat lazily beside her on the park bench, his legs stretched out in front of him. The sun had already begun to set, casting golden streaks across the sky, but she had been with him for hours now. They had walked around, grabbed some snacks, and just talked—something that had become surprisingly easy between them.
But now, she was getting up to leave, and apparently, that wasn’t in his plan.
“No?” she repeated, raising an eyebrow.
Hyunjin sighed dramatically, tilting his head back. “I mean… do you really have to go?, just a little longer please?"he says with heart eyes
She narrowed her eyes. “Are you keeping me hostage?”
“Maybe,” he smirked, sitting up straighter. “I just think you should stay a little longer. You wouldn’t want to leave me lonely, would you?”
Y/N scoffed, crossing her arms. “You? Lonely? You’re literally the most popular guy in school.”
“Yeah, but I only like one person’s company right now.” His eyes met hers, something teasing but genuine hidden beneath them.
Y/N felt her heart do an annoying little flip.
She rolled her eyes, looking away. “Nice try. But I really do have to go.”
“Wait, wait, wait.” He suddenly stood up, stepping in front of her. “At least let me drive you home.”
“I can go myself"
Hyunjin gasped dramatically, placing a hand on his chest. “And risk something happening to you? I could never live with myself.”
Y/N gave him a look. “Hyunjin, your apartment is too far to drop and then go back home, it's gonna take 10 mins from mine, I can walk"
“Exactly. Too much could happen in ten minutes, I'm not letting u walk alone at night too.”
“You’re so annoying.”
“I know,” he grinned, shoving his hands into his pockets. “But you love it.”
She did. And that was the problem.
---
The drop home took way longer than ten minutes.
Because Hyunjin kept finding ways to slow them down.
First, it was stopping at a small street vendor to buy ice cream.
“You can’t say no,” he had told her, holding out a cup. “Consider it my payment for making you stay longer.”
Then, it was making her sit in the resting car to “rest.”
“For what?” she had questioned, laughing.
“I don’t know. Existing is exhausting,” he shrugged, smirking. “Especially for you. You think too much.”
Then, when they were finally right outside her apartment building, he had the audacity to sigh and say, “Well, I guess this is it.”
Y/N gave him a deadpan look. “What are you, a soldier going off to war?”
“I mean, we are about to separate for a whole night,” he said, pouting slightly. “That’s tragic, don’t you think?”
She laughed, shaking her head. “You’re so dramatic.”
Hyunjin tilted his head, grinning. “And you love it.”
Y/N didn’t deny it this time.
Instead, she rolled her eyes with a soft smile. “Goodnight, Hyunjin.”
Hyunjin opened his mouth like he wanted to say something but stopped himself. He exhaled, shoving his hands deeper into his pockets.
“Goodnight, Y/N.”
She turned, heading inside, but as soon as the door closed behind her—
Ping.
She pulled out her phone.
Hyunjin: Goodnight, dummy.
She blinked at the screen, a small smile creeping onto her lips.
He really was annoying.
But she didn’t mind. Not one bit.
---
Hyunjin’s POV
As soon as she disappeared behind the door, he felt it.
The emptiness. The ache.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair as he leaned against a nearby streetlight.
God, he was so fucked.
She had smiled at him. Laughed with him. Let him drag her around the city just to spend a little more time together. And now she was gone, and he hated it.
Before he could even stop himself, his fingers were already typing.
Hyunjin: Goodnight, dummy.
He shoved his phone back in his pocket immediately after sending it, shaking his head at himself.
What the hell was he doing?
He shouldn’t be feeling like this. He shouldn’t be missing her like this.
But he did.
And the worst part?
Tomorrow, he was just going to want to see her all over again.
He smiles brightly seeing her reply to the text "go home idiot"
Gosh. He's screwed blushing like a little teenage girl...
Come As You Are (Eric Draven! Bill Skarsgard's Version x Female Reader) (18+) (Slight Au)
Chapter 1
Summary : You meet the meanest, the rudest, the sexiest man of your life who seems to hate your guts.
Warning: 18+, smut later, Eric is a past drug addict with suicidal tendencies, use of cuss words, description of claustrophobia, reader is in her early thirties.
Note: Watch the movie if you haven't for his origin story to get a better idea. Shelly doesn't exist in this Au but someone does, i changed the name because people take fanfiction seriously sometimes and crap on your parade. This is going to be an angsty, smutty ride
“Be careful” you heard Laura’s sweet voice in your direction while you were putting on your jacket before stepping out of the restaurant. She was an amazingly beautiful woman in her early forties, almost motherly to you, even though she wasn't that older to you.
You liked the care and concern she offered you because it was something you never really had from your own mother, she didn't have time for you, she was too busy with her own life. Your shift had just ended and all you wanted to do was go to your apartment in downtown Chicago and lie down on your bed.
It wasn't exactly a posh neighbourhood that you lived in, if you could afford something better with your waitress job you'd have but you couldn't, you had debts and bills to pay. An unfortunate incident occurred a few nights ago, that's why you had changed your 8 hours shift from afternoons that ended around 10 at night to the morning one, now you were able to get back home by 6 when it was still bright outside.
You put your headphones in as you began to walk to your building, it was just twenty minutes from the diner so you didn't really feel the need to waste money on public transport everyday.
Besides it helped you keep in shape, well you deluded yourself into believing that it was enough of an exercise for an adult woman.
It was starting to rain so you quickly ran inside the building, some gentleman had just closed the metal grill of the elevator so you yelled at him.
“Wait for me”
Well it wasn't some Gentleman, It was your neighbour Eric Draven, he lived in the apartment right in front of you. He had moved in like a few days ago and you never really had a proper conversation with him as he kept to himself, often rolling his eyes at people around him, chewing gum all the time.
Mrs. Bonnie on the third floor, a sweet old lady has warned you to keep your door locked all the time as he was supposedly dangerous, that he was involved in violent shit and had been a drug addict in the past. You didn't know where she was getting her information from but then she knew a lot about a lot of residents in this building. She was the gossip girl of the building.
“Getting in or what?” His rude snappy voice made you run into the elevator. Clutching onto your bag you turned your head to the side to look at him but the intense glare he threw your way made you look away immediately. His green eyes were often covered in black smudge. You would never find out whether he used eyeliner, kohl or just plain old black eyeshadow. Maybe Mrs Bonnie knew.
Now you weren't the type to get obsessed with men often, you really wanted to put that thought out in the universe before anyone would judge you, perhaps you had a problem of sorts but you never really liked men around you or men who often bumped into you, it was always someone unreachable that you wanted and desired. Like Hugh Jackman, yeah, very realistic and very approachable to find and fall in love with.
But the man next to you was..ahhhh well to put it plainly and modestly, he was sexy. He looked like those edgy supermodel from those high end magazines. He was 6’4, you had never met anyone so tall before, he was built well, you could just tell by the way his trench coat hung around his broad shoulders, pale smooth skin, perfectly pointed nose, full plump lips, you couldn't find a flaw in his features and that pissed you off.
Well except that haircut, at first you found it ridiculous, not understanding why he'd do that to his raven hair, you couldn't really tell what it was, the shaved sides and the mullet seemed very punk but the more you looked at him, you found yourself thinking that it did suit his aesthetic.
He had several small tattoos on the side of his face, not enough to make him look like a creep but enough to attract attention, you'd never find out what that question mark on the side of his temple meant to him or the number 99 behind his ear, or the word lullaby tatted over his brow. He also smelled like bergamot and tonka beans so he was attacking all your senses at once.
You both lived on the last floor, and you were the only ones on that floor, the rest of the apartments were still vacant, one of them was haunted or shit, you didn't care to learn more, you were content in the information that it wasn't the one you had rented.
Your floor was about to arrive when the power went out. Again, that was one of the disadvantages of living in a rundown building. It often took five minutes for the backup generator to turn on so you knew you were in for a long awkward ride filled with silence and -
“Fucking fucktards” he mumbled under his breath as he pressed the buttons on the elevator, that didn't work obviously. Power was gone.
“It comes back in five minutes”
He turned to you as he heard your voice, his jaw clenched, nose flaring as he took deep breaths. Was he panicking? You couldn't tell. He often seemed agitated for no reason so this seemed like a perfectly valid reason for his sudden anger, however he also seemed as if he was going to freak out.
You didn't know how much he despised being stuck in compact spaces, he felt his lungs closing up immediately, his knees felt weak, head became dizzier. That's how he was murdered, with a plastic bag wrapped around his head until his lungs gave out on him. That's how they were both killed. Him and Melody. The love of his life, the girl he had gone to hell and back for literally, he fought to bring her back only for her to leave him when he got hard to deal with.
As his breathing became heavier you finally brought your hand up to place it on his shoulder.
“Hey are you okay?” you asked him but he stepped away immediately.
“Don't fucking touch me..keep your hands off lady” You immediately did that as he glared at you. You were going to say something but you decided against it. Why was he so fucking rude?
He leaned against the wall of the elevator and placed his head under his palms to calm down. Five minutes had never felt so long before.
You didn't realise you were holding your own breath too so when you finally inhaled you were able to hear the sound of your own shuddering breaths in the dark silent elevator.
As the generator finally turned on the elevator began moving up and you couldn't have been more thankful, you never wanted to get stuck in an elevator with him again or anywhere else for that matter, sure you were attracted to him in a weird way but that was because you knew you weren't supposed to be attracted to him, he seemed dangerous and unstable, that's what made him so desirable, he was unrealistic and unreachable. Just like Hugh Jackman.
You quickly opened the metal door as you stepped out, he followed after you and closed the grill behind him before he reached into his pocket to take out his key. He turned around to look at you, you were struggling to find your keys in that mess of a purse you had on your shoulder.
“You shouldn't touch people without asking” you heard his gruff voice so you huffed and turned around,the urge to smack him was real.
“I was just making sure you weren't having a panic attack.. okay? I have no interest in touching you or being touched by you”
Lies. Lies. Such lies.
He puckered his lips for a moment before he turned around and faced you.
“Whatever your excuse is sweetheart, don't fucking touch me again alright?” He said as he walked closer to you, he was almost in your personal space, towering over you with his skyscraper stature.
“Fuck you.. really” you said to him as you turned around to end the conversation. Why couldn't you find your keys when you needed it the most in this moment. He sniffed once at the curt response before he chuckled.
“Is that what you want? Hmm? Want to get fucked? Is that why you're being so touchy with me?” He said to you, his voice was low and husky, any other man would have been slapped by now but truth to be told he terrified you, and that turned you on in ways you had never been turned on before.
“Oh my god you're insufferable..how does that feel? Being so insufferable?” you said to assert dominance over this conversation that you were losing miserably.
Keys, you finally found them so before he could say something else you quickly opened your door and got in.
You had never met someone so brazenly rude to your face like this before, not a man at least, they often were nice to you because they wanted to get in your pants.
From that moment forward whenever you saw him you ignored him, didn't even look at his stupid gorgeous face, no matter how good he looked and smelled. He wasn't surprised, he didn't think you'd share pleasantries with him again after how he had behaved that night and that's exactly how he wanted to keep it.
He knew your type, he knew what kind of woman you were.
A few days later as you returned from your shift you sighed as you saw him enter the elevator, as he glanced in your direction he kept the door open but you stood outside the door with your arms crossed and nose pointed towards the ceiling.
“Getting in or what?” He asked you in his usual no nonsense tone so you looked at him.
“Feel free to go up, I can wait here for it to come back down” you said as you gave him a tight lipped fake smile.
“Suit yourself” he said before he closed the grill, as the elevator began to go up he pursed his lips and threw a mock kiss your way as if he was speaking to a dog.
Your jaw clenched in anger and something else you were trying hard to deny but you kept your mouth shut instead of engaging with him further. What was his actual problem with you?
As the elevator came down again you stepped in and pressed the button to the eleventh floor. You could hear his voice speaking to someone, perhaps the woman you had seen in his apartment this morning before you left for work.
“I told you to leave before I'd be back..didn't i? I was very clear about it” he said to her, she was standing against his door, wearing what seemed like his shirt. You stared at them for a moment before you walked towards your door and looked for your keys in your purse.
“Well I'm still here so how about we go out again?” the nameless woman said to him as she dragged her finger nails over his face, she was pretty and hot and she was using an overly seductive voice. Eric chuckled once before his expression turned serious, eyes blazing with fire. He hated doing this but it was a necessary evil.
“Awn really? That's so sweet. Well It's such a shame I don't fuck with whores like you twice in a row”
Your eyes widened as he said that to her, she didn't seem like someone he paid to have in his bed so that was clearly an insult thrown just to hurt her. What the hell was wrong with this man? Who hurt him?
You couldn't help but turn around and watch as the woman spat right in his face before cursing the hell out of him, she then walked into his apartment to grab her stuff and get out of his clothes.
He stood next to his door, leaning against the wall as he waited for her to leave, his palm came to wipe the violent drool she had left on his face.
“Enjoying the show?” He asked you so you smiled in a mocking manner.
“Very much so, best entertainment i have had in a while” He smiled back but then his expression turned serious before he mouthed a slow and silent fuck you.
“Awn, is that what you want honey? Is that what this is about?”
You said to him what he had said to you the last time but before he could retort the woman came out of his apartment.
“Rot in hell you deranged jerk”
She cursed before she walked the narrow hallway to take the elevator.
You quickly opened the door and got inside as well to not engage with him further, the ball was in your court now, you were the last one to insult him in that conversation. Right?
Later that night he got in his bed to get a few hours of sleep, he was given an assignment by Kronos that he had to finish tomorrow, it was going to be a long, violent and exhausting day. Sleep never really came easy to him, especially now, even when he did he often had nightmares that left him soaking drenched in sweat and fear but he was about to drift away when he heard the loud music coming from the apartment in front of him. He lifted his head up in annoyance as he heard..what the hell was that? Why did women have such awful taste in music?
When he couldn't take it anymore he got up and put on his sweatpants to go give you a piece of his mind.
“Goddamn this fucking woman is out here to ruin my life” he murmured under his mouth as he banged his fist on her door so hard that he could hear it cracking slightly.
You quickly opened the door and sighed as you put your hand on your waist. He was taken aback by your appearance, you had a floral dress on with your hair done and light makeup. He had never seen you so dolled up before, It caught him off guard for a moment, he was used to seeing you in old ragged clothes, not that it changed how he looked at you.
“Guys turn it down” you turned around to tell your friends to lower the volume. “Sorry i almost forgot you were living here now, I had gotten so used to being alone on this floor”
“You forgot? You forgot to be a decent human being who shouldn't be playing loud music at night? Especially when you have such a bad taste in music” he said to you, you weren't even looking at his face, he was too tall and you were in no mood to crane your neck up, he was shirtless, that's where your eyes were. On his chest and those eight packs and that huge eye tattoo right in the middle of his sternum.
“Hey no need to go there, my music in taste is very tasteful”
Taste in music. It was so easy to not mess up but you had to make a fool of yourself.
Before you'd hear a mocking remark you decided to cut him off.
“Look it's my birthday and I'm trying to have fun ..I'm only getting older and grainier every day so might as well enjoy it..you won't hear the music anymore okay?” You said to him as you finally looked up, making him purse his lips together.
It was your birthday and he was being a complete jackass to you. He remembered not being like this, with Melody he was gentle, he never spoke rudely with her or any woman for that matter, he was reserved, an introvert but he wasn't an asshole for no reason, though he definitely had his reasons with you. It was the way you used to look at him before he ruined it by being rude, with such warmth and acceptance in your eyes, he had to ruin it because he wasn't able to digest it.
He ran his hand through his hair, his bicep flexing at the gesture.
“Happy birthday I guess” he said to you so you stared at him because you couldn't believe he wasn't hurling insults your way and was actually saying something normal for once.
“Well ummm thanks ..I guess”
He nodded as you said that. He felt like an idiot standing on your doorway, not knowing what to say.
“Have fun” he said as he turned around to leave but your voice stopped him in his track.
“Hey..listen!! Umm Do you want to come inside? There's beer and cake” You asked him, as opposed to your better judgement and his as well. He turned to look at you, his eyes flickering constantly with emotions you couldn't really figure out, he wasn't exactly an easy person to read.
It would have been so easy to say no, to reject the invitation, turn around and get back to having a restless sleep like he always did, in a perfect world that's what he would have done, he should have kept his distance like he had been doing all this time. That's what he should have done for his own sake but instead of all that he dug a hole for himself and jumped in it knowing too well he won't survive this again.
“Sure..I'll come inside and eat your cake if you want me to”
