Okay as someone caught in the middle why the FUCK are the transfems and transmascs infighting, it’s been going on noticeably more than ever since January and it’s exhausting. It’s on every single post made by one or the other at this point. What is the point??
The times we’re living in right now are dangerous enough, can we perhaps stop being enemies before the leopards fucking eat our faces maybe???
#im. so tired#it’s on posts that aren’t even related to discourse at this point!!#transfems on here are dangerously close to being TIRFs. it’s insidious#and then on the flip side we have transmascs growing more and more transmisogynistic in retaliation!!#what is the POINT of all this?!??#we’re just making each other feel worse!!!#inkblot rants#this shit is fucking scary having a younger transfem sister btw#because I say caught in the middle but because of how androgyny works in society#I have to be more masc leaning. since I can’t grow a beard and I personally don’t want to go on T#so to the uninformed I appear transmasc#im very much not! im not aligned with either side. I want to just be a genderless blob of flesh truthfully#but people don’t see it that way#but this discourse has already reached her ears#she doesn’t agree with it because it’s also catching intersex people in the crossfire#her first exposure was the thing where shinigami eyes was labelling intersex people or people saying something positive about being intersex#as not trans-safe. she agreed it was fucked and uninstalled#but what if it gets deeper than that to her. it’s dangerous territory to infight with your own. it makes you miserable#I would know!! I was a fucking asshole when I was younger!!!!#but even if she doesn’t care for the discourse…what if she expresses even that online#what then? because I’ve seen transfems turning on EACH OTHER for speaking up on this shit#I just want her to be safe. I just want the community to feel like home again

might fuck around and change my pronouns to he/she but only on tumblr because i can't trust people in real life to not she/her me into oblivion
#a lot of people are more comfortable using 'they' for people who use any pronouns than they are using the pronouns that actively contradict#what they perceive the person as#and frankly. it pisses me off#when i say any pronouns i mean any pronouns not just whatever category you want to put me into#because that's what these people do. they look at pronouns and they see categories#when the whole point is that the 'category' (since you're making me pick one) is All Of Them. you have to understand#and frankly i don't super resonate with like 'true' androgyny (if such a thing exists)#i'm a boy who looks like a girl#i'm not genderless and i'm not gender neutral#and while i don't Hate being they/them'ed i don't feel that i've ever resonated with it that much#like. it's fine. that's really all i can say about it#these tags could be a post in themself#gender#mine

Taint Misbehavin’: The Gender-Neutral Tragedy of the Human Gooch
You’ve been lied to your entire life.
Not about taxes. Not about calories. Not even about the clitoris.
No — I’m talking about the taint.
That glorious, forgotten slab of flesh. That unclaimed demilitarized zone between the promised land and the chocolate factory. That thin, sweaty strip separating birth from exile.
Let’s set the record straight:
Women. Have. Taints.
And the fact that society pretends otherwise is the greatest act of anatomical erasure since we collectively agreed that “muffin top” was a nice term.
🧠 What Is a Taint?
Also known as:
The perineum (if you’re a doctor)
The gooch (if you’ve owned a PS2 and body odor)
The grundle (if you’ve ever dated a drummer)
The Devil’s Slip-N-Slide (if your festival record is sealed)
Technically: “The perineum is the area between the genitals and the anus.”
But spiritually?
It’s the unspoken pause in God’s sentence. The hallway between the temple and the abyss. The place where gender, shame, and chafing meet.
🔍 Who Gets One?
Let me be clear:
Whether you’re packing heat or holding space, Slanging meat or curating petals, Carrying a baby cannon or a soft serve dispenser—
You. Have. A. Taint.
And if you’ve gone your entire life without realizing that, Congrats: society’s gendered body-shame campaign worked.
😤 But Isn’t “Taint” a Male Word?
Historically? Sure.
“Taint” was born in locker rooms. Raised by Xbox parties. Educated in Reddit threads. And baptized in the sweat of men who didn’t understand the purpose of a washcloth.
It was linguistically colonized by testosterone.
But anatomically?
It was always co-ed.
🚺 The Untold History of the Female Taint
You think the patriarchy invented oppression?
No. The real villain is linguistic erasure.
Because while men gave their taints nicknames, stories, and occasional bar soap— Women got radio silence.
Your undercarriage has been:
Ignored
Unlabeled
Uncelebrated
Unclaimed
You’ve spent years exfoliating your thighs and waxing your peach… …but no one told you there’s a full-blown diplomatic zone beneath it.
A biological Bermuda Triangle. A tactile twilight zone.
Your taint.
📉 Let’s Break Down the Cultural Bias
Body Part Coverage:
Boobs – Over-celebrated
Butts – Literally worshiped
Clitoris – Found in 1998
Labia – Misunderstood poetry
Taint – Ghosted
Why?
Because it’s funny. And neutral. And sweaty.
You can’t put the taint in a perfume ad. You can’t put it on a billboard.
So they buried it.
💀 What Makes the Taint Powerful?
Because it’s:
Genderless
Timeless
Politically neutral
Sensually charged
Biologically disrespected
It’s the only body part that:
Isn’t sexualized
Isn’t sacred
Isn’t politicized
Isn’t aestheticized
Isn’t protected
It just is.
Unbothered. Unbranded. Unapologetically indifferent.
And that makes it sacred.
📚 Linguistic Justice: Let’s Rename It Properly
Unisex taint aliases, rebranded for the equality era:
The Fleshbridge
The Forbidden Fajita™
Undercooch
The Sin Tundra
Devil’s Hallway
The Emotionless Alley
The Oathbreaker’s Strip
The Nether Yawn
Purgatory Patch
The Biblical Buffer Zone™
Choose your fighter. Reclaim your stripe. We’re not asking anymore.
🧼 Taint Hygiene: No Gender Exemptions
Let’s get raw.
Your taint:
Sweats like a liar in court
Collects funk like it’s in a blues band
Suffocates in yoga pants
Smells like the ghost of mistakes past if ignored too long
Male or female — it don’t matter.
Your taint will betray you unless:
You lather.
You exfoliate.
You show it the respect you pretend to give your “self-care routine.”
The taint is the final frontier of bodily respect.
Ignore it, and it will out you in summer.
🧪 The Psychological Impact of Owning Your Gooch
Let me be dead serious.
When you finally accept your taint:
Your shame collapses
Your ego softens
Your sex becomes better
Your humor becomes darker
Your subconscious literally trusts you more
Women who accept their taint become dangerous. Not because they’re wild — but because they’re free.
💥 The Taint Test: Feminist Edition
Ask your friend with the “Divine Feminine Energy” tattoo:
“Do women have a taint?”
“Can I call mine a gooch and still be empowered?”
“If you ignore your perineum, are you really body positive?”
Watch her hesitate. Watch her blink. Watch her glitch.
Because the truth is hilarious. And hilarity burns the shame right out of you.
🧘♀️ If You’re a Woman Reading This…
You now have no excuse.
That strip of skin between the peach and the abyss? That subtle runway between entrance and exit?
That’s your taint.
And it deserves:
A name
A scrub
A shrine
A Wikipedia page
You don’t need to gender it. You just need to own it.
🤯 TL;DR
The taint is real
The taint is universal
Women have taints
The patriarchy ignored it
But your loofah doesn’t have to
This isn’t just anatomy. It’s resistance.
💣 CALL TO ACTION
🔁 Reblog this before someone calls it “cisnormative perineum propaganda” 🧽 Send to the friend who forgot to wash hers today 🍑 Share if you’ve ever worn tight leggings with no idea what’s happening underneath 🫧 Save this if your taint is a neglected spiritual quest waiting to happen
⚖️ LEGAL DISCLAIMER:
This post is satire, anatomy education, performance art, cultural rebranding, locker room theology, and biological diplomacy.
It is protected by the U.S. Constitution, the Geneva Convention of Postmodern Memes, and the sacred covenant of shower-based self-respect.
If you’re offended: Wash deeper. Laugh louder. Reclaim your gooch.
Because if you can’t name it — the patriarchy still owns it.
And that is the real tragedy.

I will defend the appearance of the magypsies in Mother 3 til the end, them looking like that is both explained in-universe and out and the fact that there's a bunch of characters in effeminate clothing with very obvious facial hair that are treated as kind, heroic and in many ways divine means a lot to me. Boiling them down to a transmisogynistic stereotype means only seeing them on the surface level imo, they're not meant to be trans women, they are explicitly not men OR women in the story of Mother 3. They are genderless, magical beings that have been protecting the island since forever and they are some of your greatest allies in the game when allies are especially sparse. There's a lot to criticize about Mother 3, including the name of these characters, but I don't think the appearance of them being painted as transmisogyny is a fair or genuine criticism, especially since I straight up know people IRL who look like them.

more reflections on gender irt being seen as a woman most of the time:
i grew up as a girl so like its. idunno. its definitely not great and i Dont Like It but i dont like. man either. i hate hate hate that gender is applied to me it feels almost violating for someone to gender me and put expectations on me from there
like the misogyny and way people talk down to me im used to, its not surprising ive been an air headed big titted girl before. i was assigned a "bimbo" at like age 14 when id actually dress up bc im stupid and pink and so that's. its not fine but its not surprising.
idk, i don't like being a girl. i dont like being a boy. i dont like the idea of gender at all and i wish people would fucking stop putting it on me
#this is my text post tag#like i solidly have felt genderless since a child#i never understood the male/female difference#i was a girl with mostly guy friends and then i was a queer with queer friends#friends for when i was a kid is pulling some serioue leg work but#idk my parents raised me without gender roles and expectations#my mom is a second wave feminist like cmon. and shes autistic so like#and im traditionally feminine Sure but not always#idk#i got more gender euphoria from making tyler and atticus breakfast#and excessive dysphoria from trying to create a mii bc they dont give pink as an option for hair#and only have natural hair colors#so there you are

[Disclaimer!!]
This post will contain: NSFW,Sfw, Fluff, Smut It's also Genderless for the girls, gays and theys!
You’re a task force member in this scenario.
———————————————————
He wouldn’t call you any nicknames, so that the other task force members won’t notices you two liking each other.
But the few times you two are alone together he calls you “Dear” or “Love”. He sticks with the romantic names.
He shares all his sweets with you, but you have to ask him nicely.
He enjoys gentle affection way more than rough love. Gentle hugs or forehead kisses are always welcome.
He doesn’t fall in love easily. In fact I would put him into the Aromatic spectrum. Only for the fact that he’s too focused on being the greatest detective of all time.
It took him some time as well to notice he loves you. Around 2-3 years to be exact.
He had some people seeking his love, but he never responded to any of them.
He’s probably the smartest man alive so sometimes you feel dumb next to him. (Sometimes he reassures you that you’re doing great)
His love language is Acts Of Service. He appreciates it the most when you buy him cake. He loves it even more when you backe one yourself!
He rarely cries. Like at all. You saw him cry like 1-2 times since you got to know him years ago.
He’s very paranoid of Kira killing you. Most of the time he tries to exclude you from the investigation.
Once you made him strawberry shortcake and he loved it! Loved it so much he wanted to show you how grateful he was…
He loves to give and receive neck kisses. He’d leave hickeys on you too but only where people can’t see them.
After all he wants to enjoy you alone. He’s very gentle so he rarely bites you. Not even when you ask him.
“I just don’t want to hurt you, that’s all. You’re so stubborn…”
He has great reflexes and is super flexible as well. He’s willing to try everything for your sake.
He also has a lot stamina. So you have to be prepared for nights that will last long. He cums throughout a lot.
He canonically can tie a cherry stem with his tongue only. Do whatever you want with this information.
He whimpers. But groans when he’s close.
He’s always awkward when it comes to aftercare. He doesn’t know what you want/need so he just decides to ask “What do you want to do now…?”
His cluelessness makes you chuckle most times but he does whatever you ask from him.
He’s not a fan of “sour” fruits like kiwi, pineapple or cranberry. He enjoys the sweeter stuff like banana, strawberry and cherry!
He’s the type of person that’s go non-verbal and let you ramble about your special interests. Not interfering once. Just absorbing all the information you provide.
If you guys fight he will apologize. Even if he knows he is right. He doesn’t like fighting with his loved ones.
He likes to buy you gifts at many times… he likes seeing your surprised smile!
He likes to hear your breathing while you sleep in one bed. It’s a nice ambiance.
He hates nuts. Walnuts, peanuts or even almonds. Everything nut related is a no go.
Every time you do something to make him laugh like embarrassing yourself for his sake, he laughs out of pity for you…
His full genuine laugh is so contagious… it’s really rare, so rare that no one besides you and Watari heard it before.
He takes his time with marriage or any commitment. He wants to make sure that you’re REALLY ready to marry a man like him.

Hi Neil! I doubt you will even see this but this topic is somewhat important to me,
Obviously you know about the wide spread ridiculous hate with the queer representation in good omens and unfortunately that includes people getting mad at fans for using different pronouns on genderless characters, which has gotten out of hand lately especially when it comes to crowley. It’s perfectly fine to use whatever pronouns we prefer on genderless characters right? Was hoping to hear it from you since people go so overboard with that hate about things that make others happy.
Either way I thank you so much for the amount of representation in good omens, it constantly makes my day better when I think about it.
Have a nice day!!
I didn't know that there was any hate. Anyone using Good Omens to spread hate is missing the point and needs to stop.
Angels aren't humans or mortals. They don't have genders. There isn't a pronoun you can use for them that's wrong, and unless you can speak in the tongue of the angels there's not a pronoun you can use for them that's actually right. Ditto Demons.
Anyone who is spending their time telling other people they are somehow fanning Good Omens wrong should take a deep breath and go and make some fanfiction or some art or organise a meet-up or do something that's fun instead and makes people feel better.

I have started collecting your Star Trek novels, after having gotten to know your writing through Young Wizards. Just finished Spock's World, am a few chapters into The Wounded Sky.
I'd just like to say that I love the way you embrace diversity as a concept in your writing. Your Starfleet is full of Terrans, sure, and humanoids, but also overflowing with nonhumanoids, with species whose inclusion necessitates accommodation and work and cooperation, and it's just so very STAR TREK, in a way even the most ambitious episodes of the original series and TNG never managed, for budget reasons and probably because someone, somewhere said "nobody would deal with that on a starship."
It makes the things that aren't present in the books, the diversity that no 1980s publisher would have allowed in such a mainstream property, feel less keenly absent. This alien is a genderless crystal whose experience of time is utterly beyond my understanding, I think, so of course there's room in this Starfleet for an autistic agender bisexual like me.
It's really uplifting in ways I wouldn't have expected before I really got into your Trek novels.
I'm glad the books have worked for you.
I think one of the things that may be working in my favor here is a tendency to take a series's (or IP's) professed themes and/or philosophies at face value, and run with them—treating them as if they're worth wholeheartedly accepting.* The fairly early statement of the IDIC concept would have been one that jumped out at me when (like all the other viewers in the mid-to-late 60s) I was watching Trek for the first time.
But something else that would always have been in the background for me was a very early engagement with, and enthusiasm about, the relatively hard-SF concept of More Alien-Than-Usual Aliens. This would've come from reading authors who espoused it: Heinlein sometimes, Ted Sturgeon sometimes, but also E. E. "Doc" Smith and William Tenn and Cordwainer Smith... and also, very especially, Hal Clement, who's too little-known these days and did some of the best aliens ever. Add all of these (especially Doc Smith's Lensman series) to a longtime fondness for the Green Lantern Corps, and you wind up with the general let's-get-out-there-and-have-a-good-time-with-our-extremely-alien-cousins approach of the Young Wizards series.
So when they and the Middle Kingdoms crowd (with alien species holding positions of prominence in both series) got me in the door at the print end of Star Trek, the tendencies I'd already been exploiting on my own turf more or less inevitably came with me. As far as I was concerned, the more aliens (or non-usual Earth-based species), the more fun I was going to have. And when it came to the IDIC thing, I didn't think Gene had mumbled. The more diversity, the better.
(No one complained about the unusual aliens, either. The nice thing about Trek-novel writing is the low special effects cost... since your readers do it all in their heads. Original Trek was always running into the "We can't afford that" thing, alas. Not a problem for me, though.)
Anyway: Trek is absolutely, from the ground up, a place where all possible diversity belongs. You could make a case that the Trek series that have least featured this aspect of that universe have in turn been the least effective ones. ...But I'll leave it to other people to argue that out. Myself, I managed to work a sentient-mathematical-concept-Green Lantern into a GL script one time. It'd be fun to do that (and figure out how to make it visual!) in Trek. ...Later for that.
Meanwhile: it's my pleasure to have been of service. Thanks for letting me know. :)
*See also the old idiom about "taking the King's shilling". If you're going to accept it, don't waste everybody's time on half-measures. Go transgalactic or go home. :)

Is shiftblr a safe space to admit that shifting made me stop identifying with gender, but in the realities that I’ve shifted or will shift to, I am male, and I consider myself transgender cuz I’m female here and spent my life here wishing I could transition, but ever since shifting I’ve accepted I’m everything and I don’t need to because this is one of many realities where I get to experience the life of a female which opens my subconscious to valuable experiences, and so I don’t make any effort to transition cuz I’m not stressed about it at all anymore and I found happiness in my body, so I am basically cisgender. But what is a woman or a man when everyone is just genderless soul and bodies? And so at some point I stopped preferring one or the other cuz we are all genderless multiversal beings, but I still prefer the male experience when I shift because I do feel most comfortable with masculinity and I still get dysphoria here, but I also don’t cuz I know that gender is purely a construct that our subconscious enforces on us and it is literally meaningless, or is this niche weirdo shit?

The idea of being genderless since birth and you can choose which gender you want to subscribe to send me to heaven. Finally. The humans are the one without gender.
When I was mostly doing OC art and worked on their story, I had a species that basically did that.
I guess that somehow carried over.

my Jenny, Tuck, Brad, Shelden, and Vega older designs ^__^
i'm watching mlaatr, still not done, i think i got like 10 more eps (and if i'm being transparent i skipped around eps... i just wanted to see vega...). And i'm absolutely loving the show!!!! i love these characters a lot, didn't like Shelden at first i'm going to be honest, #1 Shelden hater for a bit there. but he chilled out in season two and i started to ship breldon with that too so now i just love him so much.
more about my personal headcanons:
Jenny: - I am under the belief that she is transgender. Jenny was made genderless, so her deciding to be a girl was strictly her choice and i believe that makes her trans. (She's also a lesbian) - she did grow a bit, im not gonna explain how idc really i just liked her being a taller lady :-) - she has A LOT of different cute outfits and hair styles, honestly too much to draw. she never transforms back into her base show outfit when crime fighting, she just fights in her cute summer dress she don't care. - her and vega are dating grrgrgrrrr - when vega is in rule she makes it so there is complete free access between earth and cluster prime for citizens in both places. - I say that cause i think when jenny is older she moves in with vega, technically living in cluster prime but visits earth like everyday. And brad/shelby/tucker/wakeman visit cluster prime - Jenny also hangs out with the nicktoons unite gang, but i deffo feel like its just that secondary friend group that you don't talk to with for months. when you talk again its the same goofiness as before - i think danny calls for her help when he needs it (also manny) Tuck: - he is still a little shit but we love him - adhd boy - questioning cis (he/him) - he got into robotics/stem and builds little silly things - with that, he gets help from Shelby - pretty much just a silly teen, he's on the internet a lot and has "cringe" interests - but idk he's having fun and being silly and finding himself (those interests is stuff like sonic and among us) Shelden(Shelby) - honestly kinda nervous about ppl thoughts on my Shelden, idk it makes so much sense in my brain - hits you with the transfem beam (she/they) Pansexual (she just wants anyone type of vibe) - I think when jenny is visiting vega often that leaves Shelby and Brad hanging out alone a lot. which they don't mind honestly, they are actually good friends! - but during that they just get closer and start catching feelings. Shelby eventually lets go of her feelings about jenny and realizes they were a real jerk and weirdo to her. brad helps them through that and eventually her realizing she's trans. blah blah they in love and kiss at some point. - Shelby is also a furry lmaooo her fursona is a cat.
Brad: - bisexual cis man (he/him) - Still his old brad self if i'm being honest. - totally forgot to say i think all 3 of them go off to college together (even though jenny doesn't have to i feel like she would prob want to just for the experience, but tell me if you think differently i'm still unsure) - i really don't know what else to say sorry brad! he's literally just as silly as ever man. he's just also gay - i will say here i feel it takes a lot longer for shelby and brad to start dating then jenny and vega. they got that slow burn kinda shit going on, since a lot of that is shelby being confused about her feelings. and jenny and vega just hit it off right away if im being honest, very high school sweethearts. - (also i think shelby makes brad make a fursona to match hers, so brad got a dog fursona)
Vega: - Lesbian cis (she/her) - That ending of her just ruling cluster prime was just so crazy to me cause like, aint she like 16? - i think she has a lot of stressed nights and fearing she's not doing the right thing for her people, and jenny tries to help as much she can - that is why jenny visits so much, she wants to help her. - very much got those nights were she accidently falls asleep at her desk, jenny finding her and giving her a blanket and a kiss goodnight - it's not like she's unhappy, she is actually very very passionate about her work and wants to NOT be like her mom - and yeah she deffo goes to robo therapy for the stuff with her mom. - i think it's a conflict where vega is scared her mom is gonna come back and jenny has to reassure her that if she does they'll get rid of her for good.
imma be honest a lot of my hcs are pretty half-baked and random things, im sure im going to think of more stuff in the future but that will be in different posts.

Thinking about Deltarune and how it plays with gender roles made me think about something; when people insist on assigning binary gender to the protagonists, I’ve noticed people usually treat Frisk and Chara as “girls” and Kris as a “boy”. I’ve seen vanishingly few instances where it’s the reverse. I wonder why that is
I've noticed the same thing! I remember occasionally seeing chara referred to as a boy back in 2015, but otherwise it's extremely consistent. I think it's due to a combination of things- one that frisk somewhat resembles madotsuki from yume nikki, so maybe early reviews or playthroughs that came from indie gamers assumed frisk was also a girl and it caught on. I have no way to verify this but it's what I personally always thought. there's also the fact that treating frisk as a pure self-insert was extremely common even after finishing the true pacifist route, and most of the younger members of the undertale fandom were teen girls (or at least they were girls then. many of them are not girls now lmao). so there was a really large community of portraying frisk not just as a little girl but a young woman, usually to be shipped with sans (cuz y'know sans was a hot commodity back in the day). and finally, and probably the most influential reason- undertale came out just after the rpgmaker boom of the early 2010s. and when you think about classic rpgmaker games that involve a young, vulnerable and often voiceless child exploring a dangerous environment (ib, the witch's house, mad father, and again yume nikki, among others), what do most of them have in common? yup, all the protagonists are girls. so I think for people who didn't have being nonbinary as an option at the front of their minds, it would be far more likely to assume frisk was a girl too and not give it a second thought.
(edit: I'm an idiot the most obvious answer is just that frisk has long hair. like it would be considered long on a boy I mean. and people assume any hair length past the ears = girl, so like of course people would see frisk as a girl. and you could argue that kris has longer hair too but still gets seen as a boy, but kris has kind of that emo teen thing going on which is one of the circumstances you might expect a boy to grow their hair out in. and generally younger kids don't have as much freedom with hairstyles.)
as for kris I think it has much more to do with assumptions of gender roles in a story, which is part of why I harp on it so much. in the light world, kris appears to be a depressed loner in a fashion more commonly associated in media with teenage boys. in addition, in their sprite their upper body appears somewhat wider than their legs and hips. in the dark world, kris is dressed as a knight, a traditionally male role, and is the silent leader commanding a party, also a traditionally male role (in JRPGs). given those things I think it's much more likely this was deliberate on toby's part, since he already knew players would leap to label a genderless protagonist as "one way or the other" and there isn't really a way to design a character that is able to convince a lot of people otherwise. so like, might as well use that as part of the meta. (I THINK, anyway. obviously I don't know for sure. I could be totally overanalyzing all this)

“The Bear and the mushroom shepherd ram —Chapter 1
Some time ago I made a comic about how Rev and Halsin met. Since Rev is my only non-durge character I decided to make a backstory for him. This was their first meeting, Halsin had been researching the mind flayer infection for some time and his messengers told him about a mysterious hermit living in the heart of the mountain, maybe he might know something, maybe he could have something to do with it? Halsin was kidnapped by the goblin camp not long after he started frequenting him, so in this playthrough rescuing him was one of the first things Revna did after arriving at the grove and hearing about the Archdruid's kidnapping.
Rev (them/he) is a spore Druid/urchin wood elf (my favorite kind of Druid) they have horns due to spending the last years of their life living in isolation away from civilization, adopting the likeness of goats and cervines in the heart of the forested mountains. Such is their love for these animals they decided to keep the horns and the singularly colored eyes (also, they miss the weight on their head when not wearing them) Decided to make them a genderless beast because, hear me out, a shapeshifter being connected to nature n’ living away from human costumes studying fungal behavior. What would a being like that need a damn gender for? Nothing, the answer is nothing.
I shared it in parts but now I want it to be easier to read and uninterrupted by goddamn ads. I’ll be doing the same with all the comics I shared like this.

“ FRIENDS. ” | lee myung-gi/player 333 x reader | sg drabbles
synopsis. no way he'd meet you, again — his "friend" since childhood. was he simply aware? no he fucking wasn't. he knew you weren't the type of person to be in debt either, unless he's just mistaken. though, why did you still managed to get in the games?
⠀⠀❕⠀⠀ warnings. spoilers???
⠀⠀❕⠀⠀ subj. i tried to make the reader's gender genderless. so if u see an issue in the process, pls tell me right away!! also pretend reader is REALLY good at gonggi. and erm, reader is indeed anxious and likes to fidget, a LOT.
a/n. can u acc tell im testing how ill write my aesthetics..... like erm hehennensjsjbajq im so indecisive im gonna explode into madness and rage 🔥🔥 also it's been quite a while since I've written.... idk weeks? months? who knows?? however, no beta so we explode young lolz erm... enjoy ig
⠀⠀ IT WAS MOMENTARILY baffling him, really. he thought he'd go on about his day whilst he played the games thoroughly without any issue being visible. but when he saw your distraught figure in red light, green light? his mind were a naught but dozens of clouded thoughts. he spoke to himself that it was just him hallucinating or perchance a dream yet a nightmare.
⠀⠀hell, he even thought you looked good.
⠀⠀ the way your free hand swept and dragged people's hair — moreover if they pissed you off. it reminded him how you'd also drag his hair when you were children, your laughter and serene aura gave him modest comfort. yet you disappeared without a trace. he was worried sick; where had you been?
⠀⠀ nonetheless, what irked him is you didn't give him a single glance, not even physical contact like you used to do. did you forget about him? it irritated him yet it made his demeanor worrisome. you made him feel abandoned. he wanted you to at least linger your gaze at him, even if it means the last time.
⠀⠀ did you still consider him as a friend, at this point? or did he become another stranger to you?
⠀⠀ although, his expectations were slightly different from what he previously had thought hence the second game was announced. momentarily, you were paired up with him. he hoped you would interact him, even if it means very little.
⠀⠀ “hi, " were the compact words that left your lips. oh, how he felt dreamy when he heard your voice for the first time. he wanted to have a full confab with you right now, he did. however, he acknowledged to himself that right now wasn't the time hence this event was a life or death occurrence. he knew to himself that he had to focus. though, his mind was currently filled with you. it was always you.
⠀⠀ people were seen struggling whilst doing the five minigames, though his team only struggled slightly. but you? he observed how you were merely nervous doing the gonggi. yet no issues came in your way. the way your fingers motioned every move of the stone—throwing the stones each one freely and efficiently—eyes chiefly focused on the tiny solid plastics one by one. the tension amidst the air erupting as you flip the stones with ease, the silence was loud yet there was enough murmurs for you to hear—one hand opening itself as the five stones were visible upon one's sight—the guard making an 'O' shape afterwards.
⠀⠀ your team was the first one to yell, a loud yet beamed yell. your heart simultaneously pounded on your chest as it rang clear on your ears, the relief washing over your occupied thoughts as you exhaled deeply, own pair of eyelids closed shut. yet myung-gi had his eyes placed on you, it was always you.
⠀⠀ by that means, you and your team had to go back to the lobby. though, he slightly notices how your walk were sloppy. like a turtle attempting to get back to the shore.
⠀⠀ REST, that's what you want to do. sleeping—closing your eyes whilst you sat down on your bunk, hoping that you'd do this for eternity. although, pair of shoes were perceived as the direction was going towards you, what's their problem now?
⠀⠀ opening your exhausted lids, you looked up forward, only to take sight of your friend from childhood—both hands in pocket the moment he looked at you. at the current occurrence, he looked like his mind was throbbing to speak to you, to talk with you. your gesture, but, leisure as you invited him to sit next to you silently, shrugging off your shoulders. your eyes looking at the opposite direction as his—a soft yet small smile tugged his lips.
⠀⠀ "y—you look uh, good," realizing his form of speech, he bit his lip rigidly, enough for it to slightly bleed, "...ah— i mean, you did good— out there, yeah.” now his breathing pattern were shivering. gee, did he also mention how hot it is?
⠀⠀ dull as ever, you nodded awkwardly, "thank you." he glanced at you to see your features again—nonchalance could be seen on your face. but did he see you just smile for a second?
⠀⠀ awkward silence occupied the tension, both friends sitting next to each other on the opposite ends of the bunk, myung-gi was hoping for a motion to appear from you but failed to avail.
⠀⠀ "why are you here?" he questioned you—fingers fidgeting was visible on your lap—few gazes that and there from him. "i could ask you the same question, " you responded swiftly, "...I'm here to start off a new life— to get money for future needs." breaths hitched, your anatomy rocking back and forth a little—which to others are you sitting still, yet for myung-gi? he acknowledged to himself that you were anxious, though from what?
⠀⠀"you're here because you're in debt, are you?" you added, his jaw tightened from the question— "crypto market? people bought your coin, right?" oh, so you were aware of the incident.
⠀⠀ "look, I—"
⠀⠀ "yap later, I'm too tired for that." you groaned, your eyebrows scrunching—lips thin as you sighed briefly. unfortunately, you were unable to meet his gaze, again. your hand waving thoroughly at his direction while you still refrained yourself from looking at him. he blinked till he chuckled lightly, gazing at your aggravated figure. "still like your old self, huh?"
⠀⠀ you breathed through your nose, your heart fluttering at his full, but, jaunty laughter. he still had that youth in him, you just know it. nevertheless, before you knew it, his own hand made contact with yours—gravity seems to slow down—the friction was dense yet observable. his smile was hesitant thus apparent, his face increasing in temperature as he still had the cheeky smile plastered on his facial features.
⠀⠀ you made no move whatsoever, you, in fact, did not know how to respond to physical contact that well so you were slightly distant compared to the previous times. you sat there, mind's blank and black. you both are friends, aren't you? he had always been this affectionate since you two were juveniles, then there's no issue evident for that, right?
⠀⠀ "we are friends, myung-gi." you stated.
⠀⠀"you mean more to me than that, [n]." he further alleges.

As someone who knows squat about faery lore, explain this to me. Aren’t faeries supposed to be otherworldly? Why do they have gender roles when they should be genderless or gender fluid? There shouldn’t be sexism either, let alone misogyny. If females are considered ‘brooding mare’, shouldn’t they be revered since they worship Mother for birthing their lands? How exactly is being queer wrong when literally anything is possible in their world and that’s utterly stupid when genders don’t even exist.
Why are they monogamous when they should be having scandalous relations with everyone? If they were all incest-y enough, Cassian sleeping with Morrigan and then calling her his sister would be less appalling.
How is magic orgy in Spring lands frowned upon when everyone should be designing costumes to outdo the other? I know Eris and Rhysand have a running tally, but it is Helion who always wins.
Species-hierarchy makes sense, but shouldn’t it be the other way around? Creatures with non-human features should be considered superior because they are attuned to their true nature and are tapped into land magic better, especially since they enslaved humans for ages. By that standard, shouldn’t Tamlin be considered the most powerful because of his beast form and shape-shifting? Why do faeries live by human standards and concepts? If anything, shouldn’t they look down on mortals for being bound by the ‘rules dictated by the flesh’?
These books are romantasy. . .but where is the fantasy though?
Edit: If you wish to reblog this, do it with this addition by @songofthesibyl. The insights and book recs are worth sharing!
