Big Mistakes People Make While Shopping For Office Furniture
When it comes to shopping for office furniture, many people focus on finding pieces that are aesthetically pleasing or fit their budget. However, overlooking the importance of physical health when choosing office furniture can lead to discomfort, pain, and even injury. In this blog post, we'll explore some of the biggest mistakes people make while shopping for office furniture that can negatively impact their physical health and how to avoid them.
Not considering ergonomics
Ergonomics plays a crucial role in ensuring that office furniture is comfortable and safe to use. Poor ergonomics can lead to a range of physical health issues, including back pain, neck pain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. When selecting office furniture, it's important to consider the ergonomics of the furniture, such as the adjustability of chairs and desks, to ensure that they support good posture and reduce the risk of injury.
2. Choosing style over function
While style is an important consideration when choosing office furniture, it should not come at the expense of function. For instance, selecting a stylish but uncomfortable chair can lead to back pain, neck pain, and poor posture, which can negatively impact your physical health over time. It's important to choose office furniture that is both functional and comfortable to avoid any physical discomfort.
3. Not measuring the space
Not measuring the workspace before buying office furniture can lead to pieces that are too large or too small for the space, which can affect physical health. For example, a desk that is too high or too low can cause neck or back pain, while a cramped workspace can cause discomfort and tension. Measuring the workspace before purchasing furniture can help to ensure that the furniture fits comfortably and allows for proper body positioning.
4. Not considering storage needs
Proper storage is essential for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, which can positively impact physical health. Cluttered workspaces can lead to stress, tension, and headaches, all of which can negatively impact physical health over time. Choosing office furniture that provides adequate storage, such as file cabinets and storage cabinets, can help keep your workspace clean and organized, and reduce the risk of physical discomfort.
5. Not testing the furniture
Choosing office furniture without testing it out can be a costly mistake in terms of physical health. Sitting in an uncomfortable chair for long periods can cause back pain and poor posture, while a desk that is too high or too low can lead to neck and shoulder pain. It's important to test out office furniture, such as chairs and desks, before purchasing to ensure that they are comfortable and provide the proper support for your body.
In conclusion, selecting the right office furniture is crucial for maintaining physical health and avoiding discomfort or injury. By keeping ergonomics, function, space, storage, and testing in mind when shopping for office furniture, you can create a workspace that supports good physical health and wellbeing.

Me: [Took dog to vet. It went fine, but pushed my body to its absolute limits.]
Me: [Got home and cried because I remembered I can't play my new fave videogame in my comfy chair because the game broke on console and I have to restart the game on the PC]
Me: !!! oh shit I am like really really fragile I need to lie down and unwind by scrolling thru tumblr
Me: okay I'm all settled in, lemme just real quick read this comic about someone missing their dead cat
Me: [reads beautiful heart-wrenching comic, recalls that all love must end in grief and that one day everyone dies, especially our pets]
Me: ... okay I see now that I have made an error.
Me: [uncontrollable hubristic sobbing]
#original#diary#mention of animal death#mention of pet death#i fucked up#I now feel like I have the flu I'm so exhausted and congested#I'm so upset about that video game though. I lost all my saved files and my desk chair is not as comfortable as the couch#and my desk chair was purchased especially because it was less painful than every other desk chair#but I had to sit in uncomfortable chairs for 90 minutes at the vet and now everything hurts unbelievably badly#even stuff I didn't put that much pressure on. my ankles are inflamed.#literally everything hurts except my fingernails which notably do not have nerve endings#and I am still mortal and so is everyone else I know! this is bullshit!#one time I had a pain management specialist tell me to focus on the part of my body that didn't feel pain and I said it was my fingernails#and it is really hard to focus feeling on a part of your body that doesn't have feeling!#I guess the tips of my fingers don't hurt now. that's... nice.#it's not the most expensive desk chair just the only one that was comfortable.#I went to every furniture store in the city of Chicago and several in the surrounding area and that is not an exaggeration#I also went to every sex toy shop in the city of Chicago! I combined the two activities. I love a sex shop. even crappy ones are fun for me#I've replaced the cylinder on that nice chair and I've switched at the wheels. I'm taking this thing through life with me.#open casket funeral? I will have an on the desk chair funeral to ensure I have it with me to my grave lol#and even then it still could be more comfortable and starts to hurt after a little while#truly my main accessibility tool is the really nice couch I have.#it's adjustable and high quality and slightly sunken but still probably the nicest thing I own.#shout out to my mother-in-law who let me spend thousands of dollars of her money on a couch.#she couldn't have known it at the time but it has been my prize possession these past 4 years or so for the pain it manages

Perabot Rumah Aesthetic
Apa Itu Perabot Rumah Aesthetic?
Ciri-ciri Perabot Rumah Aesthetic
Gaya Desain Perabot Rumah Aesthetic
Cara Memilih Perabot Rumah Aesthetic
1. Tentukan Tema Ruangan
Sebelum membeli perabot, tentukan tema ruangan terlebih dahulu.

How to Spot Authentic Vintage Items at Flea Markets - Best Shopping Experience
Flea markets are treasure troves for vintage enthusiasts, offering a unique blend of nostalgia and discovery. However, with the rise of reproductions and mass-produced "vintage-style" goods, spotting authentic vintage items can be challenging. As someone who has spent years collecting, selling, and admiring vintage treasures, I’m here to share insider tips, practical advice, and expert knowledge to help you identify genuine vintage pieces at flea markets.
Why Authenticity Matters
Authentic vintage items not only hold historical value but also promise better craftsmanship and uniqueness compared to their modern counterparts. Whether you’re shopping for personal enjoyment or investment purposes, learning to discern the real deal from reproductions ensures you get value for your money.
Research Before You Go
Preparation is key to a successful flea market trip. Here’s what you can do before heading out:
Study Vintage Eras
Understand the design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques of different decades. For example:
1950s: Mid-century modern furniture, Bakelite jewelry, and atomic-age designs.
1970s: Bold patterns, earthy tones, and bohemian-inspired clothing.
Use Reference Tools
Invest in books or online guides about vintage items. Apps like Etsy Seller Handbook and eBay Vintage Identifier can also help you quickly identify and value items.
Make a Shopping List
Know what you’re looking for—whether it’s vintage clothing, furniture, or jewelry—and research hallmark characteristics of those items.
Key Characteristics of Authentic Vintage Goods
Spotting genuine vintage items often boils down to recognizing specific attributes. Here are some telltale signs:
Clothing
Fabric: Authentic vintage clothing often uses natural fabrics like cotton, wool, or silk.
Labels: Look for union labels, care labels, or brand tags that indicate production before the 1980s.
Stitching: Examine seams and hems; vintage pieces often have hand-stitched or single-needle construction.
Furniture
Materials: Solid wood construction is a hallmark of vintage furniture, whereas reproductions may use MDF or particleboard.
Joinery: Authentic pieces often feature dovetail joints, not nails or screws.
Patina: Genuine wear and tear, such as fading or scratches, adds character to vintage furniture.
Jewelry
Hallmarks: Check for stamps or engravings indicating the metal’s purity or designer’s name.
Weight: Authentic vintage jewelry is typically heavier due to solid materials.
Clasp Style: Older pieces often use box clasps or hook closures rather than modern spring clasps.
Common Signs of Fakes
Reproductions are becoming increasingly sophisticated, but these red flags can help you spot a fake:
Too Perfect: Vintage items rarely look brand new; they often have minor imperfections.
Mismatched Eras: Be wary of items that combine design elements from different decades.
Synthetic Smell: Reproduced items sometimes have a chemical smell from modern manufacturing processes.
Questions to Ask Sellers
Building rapport with sellers can provide valuable insights. Consider asking:
“Where did this item come from?”
“How long have you had it?”
“Are there any markings or labels on it?”
Experienced sellers will often share detailed backstories, while vague answers may signal reproductions.
Tools and Supplies to Bring
Equip yourself with these essentials for a productive flea market trip:
Magnifying Glass: Perfect for inspecting jewelry hallmarks and small details.
Flashlight: Handy for examining items in dimly lit areas.
Measuring Tape: Essential for checking dimensions of furniture or clothing.
Notebook or App: Keep track of items you’re considering and compare prices.
Navigating Flea Markets: Beginner and Advanced Tips
Beginner Tips
Arrive Early: Early birds get the best finds before the crowds arrive.
Walk Through First: Do an initial sweep of the market to spot potential treasures before committing.
Set a Budget: Avoid overspending by setting a clear budget beforehand.
Advanced Tips
Negotiate: Polite bargaining is expected. Start with a lower offer and meet the seller halfway.
Bundle Deals: Buying multiple items from the same vendor can often lead to discounts.
Look Underneath: Inspect the underside of furniture and labels inside clothing for authenticity clues.
Real vs. Fake Examples
Here are some examples to illustrate the differences:
Vintage Dress: Real: Metal zipper and union label. Fake: Plastic zipper and modern care tag.
Mid-Century Chair: Real: Solid wood and dovetail joints. Fake: Veneer over particleboard and screw construction.
Art Deco Brooch: Real: Engraved hallmark and substantial weight. Fake: Lightweight with glued-on stones.
Where to Find the Best Flea Markets
While flea markets vary by location, these are some renowned spots for vintage hunting:
USA: Rose Bowl Flea Market (California), Brimfield Antique Show (Massachusetts).
Visit to know more location's about best flea markets in usa
Europe: Porte de Clignancourt (Paris), Bermondsey Market (London).

Websites: Etsy, eBay, and Ruby Lane for research and purchases.
Online Communities: Join Facebook groups or Reddit communities like r/Vintage for advice and inspiration.

Boyfriend is to Husband
pairing: Miguel O’Hara x gn!Reader
summary: How would Miguel react if you did the “calling my bf my husband” trend? 🤔
content warning: It gets a little suggestive, but other than that, it’s fluff fluff fluff. There are short mentions of food, but nothing too crazy. The Miguel in here is also not Spiderman. Just a little guy.
credit for art and dividers: Me! and @kimjiho1 (plus another person for the gif divider, if this is yours, lmk!)
a/n: This will be apart of a series called The Trendy Couple! This is the first installment ☝🏾😌. I’m not sure how long the series will be, but right now it’s just based off of cute couple's trends. My fyp has suffered trying to do research for this…
word count: 2.2k
I use the word "buggy" in here. Buggy = shopping cart or trolley. I'm southern so buggy just rolls off the tongue. ❤︎ Plus, it sounds cute!
You and Miguel have been out since 8 am running errands and grabbing supplies to fill up the new apartment.
After a year of your dresser being full of his sweatpants and hoodies and his furniture hosting several of your blankets, his fridge being stocked of your favorite fruits and your shower caddy holding his body care, you both decided it was best to live together.
Towel sets, bed sheets, comforters, silverware, curtains. This was only the tip of what you and Miguel had managed to stuff inside the car.
After hitting five shops just that morning, you opted to stay in the car while Miguel went and handled a pickup order from the hardware store. It was getting closer to lunchtime and you didn’t want to become irritable because of the long lines.
To pass the time, you decided to scroll on TikTok, watching video after video, reacting to each accordingly.
First, it was chatty kitties begging for food. Then, it was edits of hot wrestlers. Next, it was ramen recipes to cook at 2am. There were even a couple of NPC lives even though the trend was nearly dying at this point.
Finally, you scrolled to a video hosting a girl and her boyfriend huddled together in a car over the console.
She’s leaned up against him, her smile beaming, “Today I’m going to be guessing my husband’s favorite things!”
“I’m not your husband,” are the words that shoot from her boyfriend’s mouth, fast as lightning. Cold. Unkind. Callous.
You watch as the girl’s smile drops and the video cuts, her laughing out of shock beforehand, evidence of her trying to stamp out her embarrassment.
You watch more as his grin widens and she gives him this awkward glance.
“Not yet,” he adds, seeing how quiet she was.
The video ends with her jumping at him playfully, trying to play the situation of.
“Jesus,” you sigh, mouth turned sideways as you pause the video and open up the comments. Thousands of people were telling her to dump him, others questioning why he would say what he said in the way that he did.
Your heart went out to the girl who clearly wanted to do a harmless joke that completely backfired.
You liked a comment about this being a possible red flag. Although he could have responded that way because he wasn’t ready for marriage, his response was so quick and distant that it was like he was disgusted at the possibility of being with her that long.
After working yourself up by scrolling through the comments, you decide to go even further by pressing the “calling my boyfriend ‘husband’” search at the top.
There were so many stitches to the original video with people giving their own thoughts about the situation. Some people were proclaimed dating coaches, others psychologists, and a few influencers.
You even see a follow up video from the original couple with the guy giving a shitty excuse as to why he was so quick in his response.
“Yeah right,” you mumble, watching the girl snicker at her boyfriend’s pouts. You agree with the comments that his response makes the original video even worse.
Still scrolling down, you find another video featuring a new couple.
They’re at a table eating donut holes out of a hat, and when the girl calls her boyfriend “husband”, the guy’s entire body lights up. He’s grinning, cheeks rosy, and can’t stop staring back at his girlfriend.
From there, you were able to see countless other couples with cute videos, all of the guys radiating at the word “husband.”
Biting your lip, you wondered how Miguel would react if you called him your husband.
You loved him with all of your heart and you were sure that he loved you. You guys are literally moving into an apartment together. But the thought of him being unsettled by you calling him your husband weighed on you.
Just as you were deep in your thoughts, you heard a knock near the trunk of the car startling you. Looking up in the rearview mirror, you see Miguel standing with a few bags and wood planks in his hands. You reach over and press a button to pop open the trunk.
“Got everything?” you ask, turning to watch as he drops items in the back.
“Yeah, I think so. Although there was almost a brawl over some potted plants,” he said. “Some older lady just came up to this guy and snatched his monsteras.”
“What?” you respond, watching as he closed the trunk and walked around to the driver's seat. “Out of his hands or the buggy?”
Miguel laughed, both recalling the scene and finding your terms adorable. “She just came up and snatched it out of the cart while he was waiting at the end of the line. She swore that she saw it first.”
You listened to him retell the story, hand under your chin as you leaned closer. He was cute, lilt in his voice to make an impression of the plant thief. Thinking to yourself that you liked this little moment of playfulness, you take your phone out to record.
Placing your phone in a case attached to the dashboard, you smile at the camera while Miguel’s still going.
“‘You youngins think the world owes you everything, and that’s just not the case!’ And the poor guy is standing there going ‘ma’am, I just want my plant back.’ He looked so distressed.”
“I would be too! A random lady just shopped from my buggy. It’s like, why are you this close to me to see what I’m trying to buy?”
Miguel turns the car on and buckles up. “It started to escalate when the lady’s friend came over. Then there were two shrill voices fussing at this guy.”
He started to back the car out of the parking spot, hand behind your seat and head turned towards the back window.
You slowly glanced at his arm, eyes tracing a vein up his shirt.
Too bad you were in a car right now or else you’d let his arm wrap around you elsewhere.
You tune back into his words, silently scolding yourself for letting something so simple get you to fold.
“Luckily, I was able to calm them both down. All it took was me showing them some dasheen leaves,” he said, driving the car closer to the exit of the parking lot.
You came to a conclusion. There was no better time than the present.
“Aw, look at my husband. Saving the day with his genius,” you say, hand reaching out to pat his chest.
Then you feel your body jerk to the right. The seat belt tightens as the car jerkingly swerves in between two parking spaces.
You stare in a panic at Miguel who puts the car in park and turns his entire body towards you.
“What did you just call me?” he asks, eyes searching yours, a little startled but mostly hopeful.
You decide to keep the charades going, “I was just praising my husband for stopping the creation of another Karen video. Why did you turn the car like that?” You’re still looking at him as if he has two heads.
“You just-!” Miguel takes your hands into his and places his forehead on his fists. “Baby, you know what you just said.”
You laugh, a little giddy. “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
Miguel leans back against his seat and closes his eyes, reaching down to take his seatbelt off. His eyebrows scrunch up as he brings your hand to his chest, “Feel my heartbeat.”
Your mouth drops as you feel his heart rattling against his chest. He really wasn’t being dramatic.
“Baby look at me,” you grab his hands and hold them tight. “You did a good job today.”
His breath stopped, as he looked at you. His face was tinted from the whole fiasco.
“Husband.”
Miguel’s entire body slumped as he grinned wide. He nearly jumped over the console to sag his body onto yours.
His shoulders were shaking and you heard his laugh muffled by your shoulder. You wrap your arms around him and make a face at the camera.
“What’s up, Mig?” you say, trying to get him to talk.
He mumbled into your clothes, shoulders still shaking.
“I can’t hear you, you gotta sit up.”
He sits up and sniffles, turning his head toward the backseat.
Looking at his profile you can see a few streaks down his face.
“Are you crying?” you ask, turning his face towards yours.
Miguel swipes his wrist across his cheeks, “Stop, this is extremely embarrassing.”
“No, it’s not! I promise it’s not,” you say, rubbing your thumb across his ear. “Talk to me.”
He chuckled, eyes looking down, “It just feels really good to know that you think of me that way. We don’t have to ever cross that line, but one day, if you would like, we can make that title true.”
“Is this a pre-proposal?” you ask, heartbeat in your ears. You went out on a limb to follow a trend, not knowing how it would end. Now you’re staring at Miguel’s flushed face with his heart pouring out into your lap.
“Maybe,” he whispered, grabbing your hands. “Possibly a promise for what could be.”
You bite your lip to hold back a grin, “Can I know what could be right now?”
“And expose my plans? Not a chance,” Miguel smirked. “Besides, a husband knows what’s best for his partner, right?”
“He does,” you quip, rubbing your hand in a circle on his chest. “He also apparently forgets that SUVs can flip very easily.”
“Lo siento, mi amor,” he says, looking sheepishly at the placement of the car. “Did I startle you?”
You just giggle at his concern and give him a quick peck on the mouth. “Yeah, I wasn’t expecting that big of a reaction.”
“How would you react if I casually called you forever mine? While driving!”
“Go 90 in a 70,” you joke. “Maybe pull over and do a little more than make out.” You rub your hand down his chest, and squeeze playfully at his pec.
Miguel stared back at you, body instantly reacting to the shift in conversation. “We can actually do that right now.”
He leaned forward and brought your lips to his. You could taste the mint from the gum he had earlier, humming when he pushed further into your mouth.
He started to reach for your hips, ready to pull you over onto his lap.
Your stomach let out a loud grumble, making you jump.
“Ok, let’s try this again after we get you some food,” Miguel says, plastering kisses on your face.
The day moves on smoothly with Miguel not letting you out of his sight, hands itching to hold you in some way.
He also never lets the husband thing go.
As you’re ordering lunch, “One lemonade for my baby. And a water with lemon for me, the husband.”
As you stop in a clothing store at the mall for a small break, “These say boyfriend jeans. Do they have any husband jeans?”
As you’re trying to reach the top shelf to grab the last of your favorite detergent, “No, cariño. Let your husband get it for you.”
As you’re looking for throw pillows and towel sets for the apartment, “You think they have a couple’s set? I want something that says ‘Mr.’ on it.”
As you stop at a gift store, looking for something extra to give to the movers, “Look, this shirt says it’s made of ‘hubby material.’ Should I get it?”
This feeling is only amplified when you post his initial reaction online. The comments were full of people yearning to be in your predicament.
“If my boyfriend doesn’t crash the car when I call him husband, THROW HIM AWAY. 😒”
“Does he have a brother….asking for a friend”
“I needed this after the “I’m not your husband” he in LOVE”
“If your bf doesn’t cry at the thought of you, what are you doing”
“He was blushing HARRRRD 😭😭😭”
“So when’s the wedding? 🤨”
“He was literally cheesing and crying omg”
“Get you a man that stops the car to declare his love”
“What if I did a five mile marathon on i-55”
“He’s so in love with you that it’s palpable”
“He was ready do a lot more than make out 😭”
Miguel saw most things, a little embarrassed but mostly happy that so many people found him to be genuine.
You laid on his shoulder as he checked the comments, liking the funny ones as they passed by.
“Do you want to make a response video?” you say, liking a comment going ‘he’s a good man, Savannah.’
“No, I think this is enough,” he replies, handing the phone back to you. “Let me keep a little mystery. At least until I actually propose, of course.”
You looked at him with stars in your eyes.
“A mysterious husband. I kind of like the sound of that,” you say, wrapping your body around his side. “Maybe I can be nosy, find out his secrets.”
“I bet you would, cariño,” he voiced, nuzzling his chin on top of your head. “After, everything is planned and done.”
You laughed and snuggled closer, happy to be with him.
Once again, I hope you enjoyed reading! ❣️
Any likes, reblogs, and comments are appreciated and welcomed.
I'm excited for the future of this series and I hope you guys are too. When I finish the series masterlist, I'll link it here. If you guys have any trends that you want me to include, then just let me know and I'll see what I can do!

this tweet has me thinking so hard about how strong satoru really is and it’s making so dizzy
like imagine going grocery shopping with him and he’s so easily carrying all the bags up in one trip, not even breaking a sweat as he sets them down.
when you’re cleaning together and he’s moving the furniture around like it weighs nothing, continuing to sing along to the music blasting through your home.
if you’re being stubborn and not wanting to move from where you’re sitting he’s picking you up easily, holding you in his arms and moving you, giving you a confused smile when you’re staring at him wide eyed.
“what?” he laughs looking at you, still comfortable in his arms as he settles into the couch.
“you just picked me up so easily” you say, still a bit dumbfounded as you stare up at your boyfriend. he’s smirking down at you now, a glint of mischief in his eyes as he’s standing up still carrying you in his arms before placing you back on the couch, easily pinning your arms above your head and kissing the tip of your nose.
“I’m the strongest” he mumbles, pressing a soft kiss to your lips before continuing, “or did you forget that?” you’re looking at him with a flustered expression in your face, face burning as you shake your head.
he’s so strong and hot and he will use it all to his advantage.

𝖀𝖓𝖘𝖊𝖊𝖓 𝕽𝖊𝖋𝖑𝖊𝖈𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓𝖘
Word Count: 1k+
{Warnings: Smut!! Pussy eating!! Huge peen!! Invisible man fucking you!! Mirror fucking!! Degradation!! Being a slut for ur vampire bf!!!}
♡You and your vampire boyfriend were moving houses all from his excessive money and so he had more people to hunt.
♡Of course he fed from you, but you were too fragile and the only time he wanted to loose yourself was when he was deep in your cunt.
♡But after you moved in, you went furniture shopping. All while Isaiah was fast asleep during the day.
♡And while shopping you had stumbled across a beautiful, big, gothic antique mirror and of course your had to buy it to fit on your house.
♡When Isaiah woke up and saw the mirror he glared at your clueless face.
♡It wasn't that he didn't like it, but the fact that it reminded him of the fact he couldn't remember what he looked like unless it was drawn.
♡You gazed at him confused and ushered him to stand beside you, and when you gazed at the mirror you were amazed at the fact you couldn't see him.
♡But of course he went into a mood over it.
♡After he explained how sad it makes him never knowing how he truly looks anymore and not feeling attractive, you quickly reassure him, telling him how handsome he truly is.
♡This quickly led to his ego being boosted and his cock getting hard, resulting in him fucking you hard and fast on the sofa. Feeding from you while spilling his cum deep inside you and singing praises.
♡From then he decided to keep the mirror knowing that if he acted sad, you would quickly give him all your attention and your love, and would definitely open your legs.
♡But after a while, you knew his tricks, so you started teasing him over the fact you couldn't see him in the mirror.
♡Teasing the fact he couldn't see the size difference fully, the outfits he wore.
♡And the more you teased, the more frustrated he got.
♡He decided to start hiding your panties from you, making you walk around with you sweet pussy juices from for him to smell out much easier.
♡He used you on every counter, against every orifice and fed from every area of your soft lovely skin.
♡But still, it didn't stop you.
♡You continued on your crusade to annoy him and it was working more and more. Until he snapped.
♡You were being a brat and he didn't know how to keep you in line, until the most delicious thought crossed his mind.
♡And here you were, stripped naked, gazing at your reflection in the mirror.
♡Your body was fully folded in half, my legs pressed against your breasts as Isaiah help your knees back with both his arms like a hug.
♡But the main focus was where his cock was drilling in and out in your little pussy, but looking in the mirror all you could see was your tiny cunt being split open and gaped on a transparent cock.
♡"You see that, stupid slut? Can't see me huh? Can't see my big cock splitting your fat little pussy open?" Isaiah hisses into your ear, punishing you.
♡All you could do was gasp, watching as you gyrated in the air around a hidden cock that was splitting you open.
♡You moan as he sinks his teeth into your neck, you see the prick marks on your neck, similar to all the others that were painted around your neck.
♡He humps against your cervix, the tip of his cock nudging it desperately. The sounds you make becoming his favourite song, something he knew the heavens would sing down to him if he were to ever reach them.
♡He bounces you on his cock with his pure strength, turning you into nothing but his personal fleshlight.
♡Isaiah carefully lets you down before he pins you against the mirror, your cheek pressed firmly against it whilst your bent over.
♡You could feel every veins sliding through you walls and you could hear his groans of joy of you being wrapped around his cock.
♡"Look at yourself! Fucking slut for nothing! Being fucked by the air and you're about to cum all over it. All over nothing! Pathetic!"
♡His thick heavy balls slap against your clit, being just enough every time to make your cunt spasm perfectly around his huge cock. Groans of pure delight pour from his mouth mixing with the melody of your moans.
♡You can't help the trembles that wrack your body, spasming around his thick cock and squealing.
♡Isaiah holds you up by your stomach for a moment, making sure your feeling the bulge in your stomach from his big cock that's imprinting in your womb.
♡He lets out a deep moan before it turns into a whimper as he cums inside you too.
♡He holds you gently before pulling you back, his arm locking around your neck and pulling you back as he kisses you.
♡"Can you see me now?" He teases rubbing his nose against yours.
♡You just giggle giving him a hazy smile back, still blissed out as you're resting on his cock.
♡Soon after you avoided teasing him about the mirror unless you wanted to be fucked like a pathetic doll.
♡It wasn't anything bad, it was how humiliating it was and how wet it made your pussy.
♡It was so bad to the point that whenever you were playing with your pussy, a flash would occur and you would be in front of the mirror. Isaiah leaning against it.
♡A smug smirk against his lips, "cmon princess, rub your cute, fat little cunt for me. Watch yourself in the mirror. Memorise how fucking pretty you before I turn you."
♡His eyes darken as he watches you shyly move your hand down between the valley of your breasts, your stomach before finally reaching your clit.
♡It would only be a few seconds of playing with yourself before Isaiah was between your thighs slurping happily as your pussy juices.
♡The sight in the mirror was Hypnotic but looking between your legs to where Isaiah was happily feasting was even better.
♡It was safe to say that the mirror stayed
♡And you got a special painter for you and Isaiah so he could finally see a version of himself after all these years.
♡Both things were absolutely worth it.

🔮A True Love Of Mine 🔮
Lilia Calderu x fem!reader

summary: On your way home from town, you get caught in the rain and find shelter at Madame Calderu's Psychic Readings. That night, you learn things about yourself you never would've imagined.
*************************************
The storm hit earlier than expected. You'd gone into town to stock up on ultrasonic cleaning solution and clock oil for your father as you did every other week—the walk wasn't too long and the scenery pretty—only today, the world was ending.
Or so it felt as you pushed forth through the wind lashing in your face and waded through the water that went up to your ankles and had soaked through into your lace-up boots. The raindrops pierced your face like needles, and your coat hung like seaweed from your shoulders, long and heavy, and had ceased to provide any kind of warmth. You made it down the road, cautious of the trees for they might fall, and reached a row of shops.
A nail salon, a shop with pool supplies, and between them, Madame Calderu's Psychic Readings. Since the nail salon was closed and the other shop didn't make the friendliest of impressions, you decided to try and find shelter with the psychic.
Water dripped from the ends of your hair, your nose, and your chin, and you felt like a wet dog. You just hoped you didn't smell like one, too. You approached the glass door, dusty as were the large shop windows, and pushed it open.
A bell chimed above your head, and thick oven warmth embraced you. It was a relief to your shaking, chilled form, and for a moment, you didn't take in anything else but this.
When you opened your eyes again, an array of plants greeted you, which you assumed the owner must've brought in when the storm had reared its ugly face. The interior was colourful, filled to the brim with crystals and knickknacks, with grand drapes on every window, one of which had been decorated with shards of painted glass hung up on a thread. It was so unlike your father's workshop with its dark, antique furniture, the grandfather clocks, the worn carpet—despite your best efforts to bring life into it with some fairy lights and lace tablecloth. This looked homey and inviting.
...unlike the owner, who stepped through the beaded curtain that separated the shop from her private quarters, you assumed, looking nothing short of intimidating.
And there you were, dripping on her Persian rug.
"Um... M-madame C-c-calderu?" you stuttered with chattering teeth.
You expected to get yelled at by the older lady, but the moment she realised you were soaked to the bone, she slipped off her knitted cardigan and rushed to you, muttering, "Oh, honey, oh honey."
She laid it around your shoulders and rubbed your upper arms with her warm, wrinkled hands. "You're drenched, dear." She studied your face with knitted eyebrows. "And your lips are blue, Divine Mother..."
One of her grey curls that framed her face bounced whenever she moved her head. She must be in her seventies, but was still exceptionally beautiful.
"May I—wait out the—s-storm here?" you asked, on the verge of tears from how frozen you were. The tip of your nose, your fingers, your toes—they all ached as if they were about to fall off.
"What a silly question!" She ushered you to sit in a floral-patterned armchair surrounded by countless candles. "I'll get you some dry clothes, girl."
And off she went, through the beaded curtain again, and you sat trying not to freeze to death. The storm raged outside, sent everything that wasn't fixed flying across the road, and bent the trees to breaking. It was early in the evening, but the dense clouds had darkened the sky as if it were almost night.
You set your shopping bag on the ground and rubbed your palms over your thighs to warm them up. Madame Calderu returned a moment later with a folded stack of clothes and towels and set them down on the side table, handing you a towel first and taking one herself.
"Dry up as best as you can and then slip into these. They're from when I was younger," she chuckled, "so might fit you somewhat."
"Thank you so much," you said, and she gave you a warm smile that made your heart squeeze.
It was nothing compared to the leap it made when she began to dry your hair for you while you dragged the towel across your arms and chest. She wrapped the ends of your long, dirty blonde waves up and wrung them out. With her own unruly curls, she must know how to care for hair properly. Her fingers moved to your scalp and massaged it with the towel, and you almost moaned at the feeling.
"Better now, darling?" She stepped back in front of you, and you missed her touch already, but nodded.
"Much."
"Then get changed while I make tea." She took the wet towels with her and turned over her shoulder to say, "Come to the back when you're done."

hey angel! thank you for this question in my mailbox! and ahhhh thank you so much you're so sweet!! i'm sorry this post was a little late, self-care is soooo important, i want to give you some tips that you don't hear to often that i do in my self-love journey! i'll share some not-so-obvious self-love practices that literally changed my life! ♡
♡ redefining your space psychology because your environment shapes your self-perception:
bedroom makeover with intention:
rearrange furniture to face the sunrise (this literally changed my morning mindset!)
create a "victory wall" with tiny achievements (i put up a photo of my first B- grade that turned into an A-)
place mirrors strategically (not just for selfies, but for daily affirmations)
use color psychology (i painted one wall rose quartz pink in my room and it actually improved my mood)
create a dedicated self-love corner (mine has fairy lights, positive letters from friends, and little trinkets from my childhood, along with printed photos from pinterest with self-love affirmations/lists.
♡ morning practices instead of basic routines, try these instead:
the "main character energy" morning:
write how your day went (successfully) and about yourself in third person (like "mindy gracefully picked up her pen, to conquer calculus, she did all her chores, and even studied japanese for 2 hours.")
practice "mirror dating" (spend 5 mins having an actual conversation with yourself - it's weird but works!)
create a "today i choose" list (instead of a to-do list)
dance to one song before doing anything else (i do taylor swift, or newjeans obviously)
write a love letter to a body part you're struggling with (i wrote to my uncooperative hair and now we're besties <3)
♡ digital self-love (but make it intentional) because we live online but need boundaries:
phone transformation:
change your passwords to affirmations (mine is a variation of "mindyisworthy2025")
create a folder of your awkward photos (embrace the cringe! and laugh with your friends, its so fun)
record yourself modeling, or pretending your a celebrity or k-pop idol
take selfies without filters (document your real smile)
set random alarms with love notes to yourself
hide little sticky notes with cute reminders about yourself in your room, so when you stumble upon it a month later it'll make you smile!
social media rebellion:
post the photos you'd usually delete (even if it's made private)
share your real study space (messy notes and all)
document your growth journey (even the uncomfortable parts)
create a finsta for your completely unfiltered self
make reels about your self-love journey (even if they're private)
♡ physical self-love (the weird but effective version) not basic bubble baths:
unexpected body appreciation:
thank your body parts for specific things ("thank you hands for letting me write my study notes")
have a private dance party in weird places (i do this in elevators when i'm alone)
wear your prettiest clothes to study, or even to the grocery store (even if no one sees)
make up your own choreography to your favorite songs
make your own workout or stretching routine with different stretches/exercises you make up yourself
comfort zone expansion:
try eating alone in public (start small - i began with coffee shops)
wear that "special occasion" outfit to class
speak up in class even if your voice shakes
send yourself flowers to your dorm/apartment (I LOVE DOING THIS EVERY VALENTINES <33)
take yourself on cute dates (let a coin flip decide where you go! or ask google.)
♡ emotional archaeology dig deeper than surface-level feelings:
create an emotion museum:
keep a "weird thoughts" journal (mine has my 3am existential questions)
make a playlist for each mood (even the uncomfortable ones)
collect "emotional souvenirs" (me and my grandmother had a cafe date a few years ago, and i still keep the receipt today)
document your crying sessions (trust me, looking back at these helps)
write letters to your past and future self
validation exercises:
practice saying "my feelings about this are valid" in the mirror
create a "proof of worth" folder on your phone
collect screenshots of nice messages
record yourself giving pep talks
keep a "wins" journal (especially tiny ones)
♡ advanced self-love techniques for when you're ready to level up:
relationship building with yourself:
schedule weekly "self-dates" (i do wednesday coffee dates with myself)
create a personal manifesto (update it monthly)
develop inside jokes with yourself
celebrate monthly self-love anniversaries
create traditions just for you
growth documentation:
take progress polaroids (not just physical)
voice record your daily thoughts
measure growth in unconventional ways (like "times i chose myself")
create time capsules every season
write monthly letters to yourself
self-love isn't just face masks and bubble baths (though those are nice too!). it's about building a deep, weird, wonderful relationship with yourself. it's about becoming your own best friend, confidante, and biggest supporter.
some of these might seem strange at first, but that's okay! the best relationships often have their quirks. start with what feels right and slowly expand your comfort zone. it's not just about practicing self-love, it's also about creating your own unique love language with yourself!
you're doing amazing things just by being you, and i'm so proud of you for prioritizing this journey! remember, the relationship you have with yourself sets the tone for every other relationship in your life.
xoxo, mindy 🎀

Pairing ➼ Joe Burrow x Reader
Summary ➼ Joe and you are on a mission to furnish your brand-new house, but what starts as a casual shopping trip turns into a full-blown adventure. Between Joe’s quirky opinions on throw pillows and your obsession with picking out the perfect coffee table, you both learn a lot about each other—and yourselves. The house may be new, but it's starting to feel like home.
Word Count ➼ 485
Warnings ➼ Just Fluff
A/N ➼ Hey guys this is my first post/one shot if you want to call it but I'm new and just getting started if you have any tips or suggestions please feel free to share. I also take requests.
The sun was setting over Cincinnati, casting a golden glow over the city as you and Joe strolled into the sleek, modern furniture store. Your new house—a beautiful, airy place with high ceilings and expansive windows—was nearly finished, but there was one problem: it was still completely empty. Except for a couch. Joe insisted on getting a big sectional sofa first, because, as he put it, “It’s gotta be comfortable for game days, right?”
“Alright,” You said, glancing at him as we walked through the sliding doors. “We’re on a mission. We need to make this place feel like a home, not a hotel lobby.”
Joe flashed a grin. “A hotel lobby would have a good minibar, though.”
“Focus, Joe,” you say laughing. “This is a house, not a suite.”
“I know, I know,” he teased, rubbing his chin. “But we should get a minibar. Just sayin’.”
Joe and you moved through the store, you found myself getting distracted by all the little details—vases, lamps, wall art. Meanwhile, Joe was making very serious decisions about the most random things. “What about this lamp?” he asked, holding up a funky, geometric piece that looked more like modern art than an actual light source.
You raised an eyebrow. “Really? That looks like something you’d find in a sci-fi movie.”
He chuckled. “Exactly. It’s perfect.”
After much back-and-forth on the lamp situation (which ultimately ended in you picking something a little more traditional), then you and Joe ventured to the kitchen section. Joe’s face lit up as you looked at the wine glasses.
“We need a good set of these,” he said. “For...you know...celebrating stuff.”
“You mean, for after you win the next Super Bowl?” you teased.
“Exactly,” Joe grinned, pulling out a set of crystal glasses. “We’ll toast to that moment when it happens.”
Joe paused for a second, imagining it: Joe hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy above his head, Cincinnati going wild. It was a beautiful thought.
The shopping trip was a mix of seriousness and silliness—Joe testing out every recliner in the store, making you laugh by acting like he was auditioning for a role in a commercial. And you obsessing over the smallest things, like picking out the perfect throw pillows for the couch. It wasn’t just about the house; it was about making memories, finding y'alls rhythm in this new chapter.
By the time you were ready to check out, the cart was filled with everything you both needed—and some things you probably didn’t. You give Joe a pointed look as he placed a neon green throw blanket on top of the pile.
“Are you sure about that?” you asked skeptically.
Joe shrugged, that confident, carefree smile of his lighting up his face. “Look, every home needs a little bit of chaos.”
You have to admit, he was right. A little chaos made everything feel real, and that’s exactly what you both were building together. A real home.
