Did you ever know this book when you were little? My Dad used to read it to me before I went to sleep. I still remember how tingly good it was. I got it as a present for my wee nephew a few years back. [I’ve actually never tried to write a kid’s story. Or, writing for children. Perhaps I could give it a shot one day.]

Here’s an interesting bit about Funnybones:

He streams his experience with multiversal travel, which often ends up with him in some pretty funny situations.

Which is why when he accidentally tumbled into Nightmare’s Castle, his inexperience with other AUs kinda landed him hanging out with the ‘bad Sanses’ (he didn’t know they were bad, just thought they were weird, joked to his camera that he was joining a cult).

And from that, I’m sure you can imagine his confusion when the Star Sanses barged in- saying they were saving him.

It was basically:

He’s a silly guy, and really does not believe he’s in any form of danger. Just ignore his scary friends in the back.
