Hilarious idea, Kaiju No.8 and Skylanders Giants crossover where Kafka as well as becoming Kaiju No.8 due to some magic shenanigans also become a Skylander Giant. Giving the other giants an anchor point to escape the Vortex the Iron Fist of Arkus sucked them into, and like Kafka they have a human form as well

Kafka immediately falls under the Undead Element. The manga and the transformation in Episode 1 is hinting at something very supernatural in the ghost department with his powers. Now he is completely unaware of the dormant magic within.

At least until Kafka bumps into Tree Rex. Ever since the Giants landed in this new world, all of them felt a strange energy call out. They have to be careful looking into it as none want to accidentally clash with the Defense Force.

Kafka also feels the strange tug but the feeling isn't apparent until he goes to work one day. The latest cleanup being near a forested area and suddenly there's an invisible weight on his chest that grows the deeper he goes into the woods. It only lets up when he finds the Life Giant.

Without thinking, Kafka places his hand on Tree Rex's palm and is blinded for a short second. He opens his eyes to see a human now stand before him. The shock is broken when this stranger speaks.

"I never thought there could be a potential Portal Master here. Nice pick for a disguise."

Idea for Skylanders Fighting Game

One game series I remember playing a lot of as a kid was Skylanders and I really enjoyed the Netflix series as well, and I was thinking to myself, what a roster for a Skylanders fighting game would look like, so here I am to be doing a base roster of 24 as that seems to be the average nowadays with for the most part, two or three characters per element with 3 seasons of dlc with 6 characters each.

💠 (Favorite level) - That would be the Creepy Citadel from SSA! A lot of nostalgia and just immaculate gothic dark fantasy vibes and such a good finale for the undead section of the game. Also the perfect aesthetic for Hex, I always use her in that chapter. Honorable mentions are The Oracle from Giants and The Golden Arcade from Imaginators.

❌️ (Who's your least favorite Skylander) - Honestly there's a lot of Skylanders I simply don't care for despite having them. The one I actively dislike is Lightning Rod because of some rather unpleasant characterization in one of the books but Fist Bump is a close second for having a (personally) bad design and for insulting Déjà Vu, you don't do that.

💚 (Who's your favorite non-Skylander character) - Similarly I don't care much for the NPCs either but if I had to pick my favorite from the bunch it would probably be Mags, she's a fun gal! Cali also comes to mind but then I remember how much she yelled at me for breaking some pottery and she goes down the list /hj

☔️ (Which game was your least favorite) - Extremely popular opinion: Imaginators. I tried to like it but it's just so rushed and the ending is such a cruel slap to the face. Underwhelming chapters (few exceptions as seen above), removed a lot of great stuff from previous games, BUTCHERED the Academy and don't even get me started on the story and overall writing. Its one saving grace is the Skylanders roster, which is my favorite from the franchise, but besides that there are only a few other positive aspects I can think of. The Imaginators were a fun concept that I was excited about but ultimately kinda fell flat for me and I just ended up using the senseis 90% of the time. The selfie (picture) feature was great and they put effort into the character movesets, so I enjoy playing it for them but that's really it.

✨️ (Which game was your favorite) - And my favorite game is Spyro's Adventure! Call me a nostalgic fool but that game will always hold such a special place in my heart. If you asked me what Skylanders is at its core I would point you to that game. It has this beautiful world design with a really magical medieval rpg flare which hit all the right spots for me. Every character felt unique and gave you an entirely different gameplay experience and the SOUNDTRACK god. I literally can't listen to the main theme without tearing up it means so much to me. It has its flaws obviously, but to me it is the perfect game and I will always enjoy taking out the first portal and replaying it, it's the absolute best way of reliving my childhood.

PART 13: thoughts over all

So..after ranking every skylander, no I will not do enemies or trapped bosses, I can kinda get a method with them

Magic are based on religions and the arcane

Undead are often dead or malicious

Life are based on flora and fauna

Fire are based on fire, magma, and explosives

Water are based on ice and marine life

Earth are based on rocks and Crystal's with a few rough boys

Air is based on flight, avians or weather

Tech is based on machinery, metal and demolition and man made things

Light is based on holy and benevolent forces

Dark is based conversely on lovecraftian and malicious things

I originally intended on looking at all scrapped skylanders too but I realized there were too many so I only covered the one that was most well known scrapped skylanders

I also noticed some of the sensei's in imaginators were really independent of their element

And another thing was that some skylanders were dropped. In the original generation they had 4 skylanders and then replaced one for giants then again for swap force but the ones they keeped were given ultimate versions that sometimes looked wholly different and then in superchargers some where brought back again ang given new armor.

when me and my bestie were playing trap team together. i was enigma and xe was bushwhack and though i dont remember much, i remember we were in utter hysterics the whole time. honestly think it was one of the happiest days of my life. we just roleplayed as them for hours and its the reason i like enigma/bushwhack.

we had to stop playig at telescope towers bc that level was glitched on my wii and the fun came to a grinding halt but god i miss it

i dont want another mainline game tbh, id want something along the lines of pokemon masters ex. id rather see more love given to preexisting characters than get any new ones. id wanna use toy codes to get characters i have in the game and have some sort of chat system between whatever story mode there is so it can at least somrwhat feel like were friends with these guys.
