Peony Drive 590 - a fully furnished lot for Oasis Springs (no CC)
With this build my birthday celebration is coming to a close and I hope you enjoyed the other houses I shared, but now onto the last one: This house is a mash-up of two mid-century house plans I found online. I originally did not plan on furnishing it, but as it turns out being sick motivated me enough to furnish this house. It was intended as a starter home, but keeping within a tight budget wasn't fun, so I didn't. The end result is a very cheerful and playtested home for your sims!
More info and interior shots + download link under the cut!
Peony Drive 590 is a 20x15 fully furnished lot placed in the Parched Prospect neighbourhood of Oasis Springs. It's perfect for either one sim or a couple. You could also fit a baby or an infant in there, but you'd have to add a room/floor for an older child. Peony Drive has a colourful interior that leans heavily into the mid-century (modern) style and also has a patio with a bar and a barbecue.
Uses items from the following packs: For Rent, Horse Ranch, Growing Together, High School Years, Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get To Work, My Wedding Stories, Dreamhome Decorator, Strangerville, Jungle Adventure, Dine Out, Home Chef Hustle, Paranormal Stuff, Tiny Living, Backyard Stuff, Cool Kitchen Stuff, (Kits): Desert Luxe, Little Campers, Industriel Loft & Country Kitchen
Download: simfileshare | or up on the gallery: aeromantica
TOU: please don’t claim as your own or put behind paywalls etc. If you find any issues (wrong files, etc.) please let me know + tag me if you’ll use the house, I’d love to see it in your games.

yes, it's another modern black&white restaurant build! but this time... in mt. komorebi! in my savegame it's a sushi place owned by the same chef that runs the crab and monkey in windenburg. but it isn't *just* another restaurant - the build comes with a fully furnished apartment for your own chef/restaurant owner of choice and a corner tea shop/bakery.
and all of this just works! the bakery can get a little cramped at times because it's so tiny, but i've playtested pretty thoroughly. so i hope you have fun & can't wait to see this place in your game! i do suggest using carl's dine out reloaded for a better dining experience.

I don't know why, but since I started this blog, the converted Chapel on the Bay, in Palmetto, Florida has been on the market at least 4 or 5 times. And, here it is, for sale again. 2bds, 2ba, $699K. The original owner spend $1.3M to convert it.)
The floating chapel has served as a picturesque wedding venue and also as a short-term rental or Airbnb. The former Chapel is being sold fully furnished. It's ready for the next owner to live in at the marina or operate as a rental.
It's really nice inside and has a vaulted church ceiling.
Note the gothic doors and stained glass windows. I don't care for the black theater recliner seating, they're too bulky and casual for this lovely space.
In the corner of the living area is a nice round glass table.
A spiral staircase in the middle of the space toes up to a loft.
In the corner of the living area is a nice kitchen with granite counters.
Hallway to the primary bedroom and bath.
The downstairs bedroom and bath are good sizes.
The 2nd bedroom is in the loft.
Isn't this nice? It's so cozy.
There's even a sitting area up here.
And, this is the 2nd bath.
It's picturesque at night, but there doesn't seem to be many other homes, just lots of boats.
This is nice, they have fireworks on the water.

that look on tk's face when he's looking around the fully furnished loft for the first time is just so. there's so much in it. later eps really contextualize how truly in awe he is, like there's this genuine shock that he gets to have this, that it's his. and it feels like it runs so deep, not just his love for the loft as a dream place to live with carlos, but also..... this is his home. this is a home he didn't think he'd ever get to have, a life he didn't think he'd ever get to live.
i just keep on thinking about 19 or 20 year old tk who was battling addiction and working as a firefighter and trying to feel close to his dad again, who probably thought that that was all there was. who didn't know what his future held but probably figured it wouldn't be good because he didn't deserve for it to be. and i can imagine him thinking about that tk too, as he's looking around the home that he now owns, the life he gets to build with someone who loves him deeper than he's ever been loved before. being so awed, so overwhelmed, that seven, eight years later, this is his. he gets to have this.
#i know it's kinda been implied that what happened in the pilot was a suicide attempt and i really just#you can see it on his face. a life he never thought he'd live that now is his#it chokes me up just to think about like he's come so far#and now he gets to have this life with someone who loves him so much#gets to continue on this journey of starting to feel whole#it's everything#tk strand#911 lone star#911 ls meta

just watched this tiktok and was like !!! upset that i don’t post 911 tiktoks anymore because i would have stitched right away but i need to speak on it anyway,
if you don’t have tiktok the video basically just notes that bucks loft has no personal touch and feels like a tv set more than a place someone lives
because like it’s ON PURPOSE !!!! she talks about how there’s no trinkets, how there’s nothing on his fridge, there’s no post cards. you know when there was those things in the loft? COMA DREAM. he had the little toys that gave him hints of real life, the cards from his school kids, a fully furnished living room, and just overall the framing and lighting of the scene made it feel much homier than the loft has ever felt before. when buck comes “home” in the coma dream the setting, in my opinion, has the same comfy vibes as any time the 118 and co has a big get together and is hanging out in someone’s house, it feels good!
and i think (i swear im not projecting my loft ashes hopes here) the loft has always supposed to have been a place devoid of emotion. when buck comes home to find taylor no where to be found they put extra emphasis on the high ceilings of the loft to show that when he’s alone there he’s alone there. they still don’t have a fucking couch in the damn thing for WHO KNOWS why (i know why but this isn’t the time or place, ill come back around at a different date).
if they wanted to make the loft personal and *buck* they would, we saw them gradually make the diaz house more lived in and real throughout the seasons so we know they can do it. the stagnancy of the loft (especially after the couch saga but again not the time) shows to me that it’s not where he’s supposed to land. regardless of what or how he gets out of the loft TRUST me when i say the character who’s entire life storyline and being is rooted in finding home— will find himself a home not in that dumbass stupid fucking loft

OPEN WATER
ELUCIEN / EXPLICIT / WIP, 3 OF 6 CHAPTERS / CH1 CH2 CH3 Stuck in the Florida Keys and tired of letting her sisters make decisions for her, Elain ditches their group vacay plans and signs herself up for a scuba diving course on an impulse. The instructor Lucien tells her he’s never had to fail anyone after the four days she’ll spend with him. What’s the worst that could happen?
wow! this is, i kid you not, my first fanfic in over 10 years. i want you to dive right in (HAHAHA), but let me first say: i was having a really bad time earlier this year, and turned to the work of some fantastic, generous creators as a distraction from stuff going on.
you don't know me, but: @separatist-apologist and @the-lonelybarricade, thank you for the hours / nights / months i spent curling up to read your work and giggle, and really, converting me into a big big elucien stan. the elain and lucien living happily ever after in my head (or let's be real, living the 10,000 stupid idiots in love plots in my head) were born thanks to you.
p.s. i started posting this before @elucienweekofficial so let this be a fun little AU warmup while i get something else kicking around. i think i might??? actually finish this before the weekend so i'm going to ride the high of writing spicy fanfic for the first time ever(!) while it lasts and whip up something else next week if i can. i'm so happy to be here!
xoxo, and please, do NOT bother your dive instructors!!
[read a snippet under the cut]
It was a quick drive to Elain’s hotel, which looked out over the small, locals-only marina he’d been meaning to show her. Elain followed him trustingly down the dock as he led her towards the slip. “You know, I eat my breakfast out here,” she said, pointing to a swimming pier by the hotel restaurant. “Have you been following me?”
“A coincidence,” Lucien promised, though his heart beat a little faster. “In fact, the question is, are you trying to steal my secret spot?”
Elain gave him a confused look and Lucien grinned, turning from her to climb onto a small but newly-painted red sailboat. He extended a hand to help her get on. “Don’t worry, we’re not going anywhere,” he said. “I’m not much of a boat captain.”
Elain stepped over to him, one hand on the rolled-up sail. “And yet, this boat,” she said. Her face said, why are we here?
Lucien stretched his arms out. “This happens to be the most exclusive place to watch a sunset around here, I’ll have you know,” he said. Then he opened the cabin door, climbed down, and reached up a hand to her. “There’s more.”
She followed him in, expression unreadable as she made her way down the ladder, then straightened and looked around. They were in a tiny, fully furnished apartment cabin.
“Whoa,” Elain said as Lucien ducked to switch on the small A/C unit. “You are like, full of mysteries today.” Her voice was soft, leaving him room to fill in the blanks if he wanted to. Lucien reached into the minifridge he still kept plugged in, pulled out two Cokes, passing one to her as he fussed around the cabin to keep from looking at her.
“When I graduated college, Jurian had this boat,” he started, and stopped for a moment. No one except Jurian and Vassa knew this about him. But she was so open and so lovely to him that he wanted to make up for rebuffing her attempts to get to know him, give her something real about himself even if she hated what she saw.
“He had the shop, but I still had to get my instructor training, and pay for it too. My dad had died that senior year,” he said, “And my mom was figuring stuff out.” And he’d had no place to go, and not enough money in the bank to sign a lease, and nobody wanted him around. “It was temporary. I showered at the dive shop and ate a lot of microwave meals.” He shrugged. “When you’re 22 it’s like camping.”
He thought he’d die if he saw pity in her eyes, but when he turned, Elain was standing leaned against the lofted bed, fingertips resting on the sheets, eyes closed. She opened them and looked at him. “I can feel the boat rocking,” she said, almost in a whisper, with a small smile. Lucien was so grateful for her kindness he could burst with it.
“I used to turn off all the lights and A/C when it was cool enough and just lie here and listen to the water,” he said, taking a step towards her. Elain watched him but did not move. There were no windows except a tinted skylight. The sheets on the bed were the same ones he’d made neatly and desperately every morning that long year, as if willing the place into a home beneath his hands.
“I can hear it,” Elain said, eyes fluttering closed once again. Lucien watched her for a beat as she stood there, trusting him, and then crossed the distance between them and kissed her.

Getting back to my old habit I guess...
Yep, I'm building again. Though I intended this one to be a 'studio' lot, for playtesting cc, where my simself and her two kitties live. It's a fully furnished home with a huge outdoor space (intended for taking previews for build mode objects or any outdoorsy stuff). Inside meanwhile has a huge empty room for buy mode object previews. Upstairs is a loft bedroom leading to a stairway going to the attic and then to the rooftop balcony. And because I'm in love with industrial elements lately I decided to take a shot decorating in that style. I think I put a fair amount of cc on this one, including some of my own, of course lol..(note: there are some unreleased items shown, will I put them up for download? dunno yet but let's see 👀)

²⁶⁾ library books that’ll never be returned (writing prompt)
Stiles took a deep breath, and lifted up another plastic tote that was full of relics from...well, his entire fucking life up until now. It was heavy in more ways than one. First, he had packed way too many books in this one so physically he felt like his elbows and shoulder joints were stretched to their max with overburden.
Moving out of the house he grew up in was an entirely different kind of overburden. Knowing he wouldn't be dragged into the land of the living by his frustrated Father ever again, knowing he wouldn't know the sweet spot for the hot water in his new shower, and knowing that Scott wouldn't be in walking distance if he needed him had hit him in periodic freight train realizations over the last few days as he packed up everything.
He walked out of his room and down the stairs slowly, making sure to plant the soles of his shoes firmly on each stair, desperate to not relive the nightmare he had last night that had him tumbling out of bed and smacking his face directly onto the floor. Derek had grumbled quietly at the loss of contact, but was so used to the general commotion that was sharing a bed with Stiles that he hadn't even opened an eye. Stiles was not impressed, but he eventually pushed himself up off the ground and back into his single bed, which was mostly full of his very sleepy werewolf boyfriend.
The younger man scoffed at the memory and when he got to the bottom of the stairs, and laid the tote down with all the others. Derek was supposed to be back with the moving van shortly, and then they were leaving, driving across the country to the loft apartment that a realtor had picked out, and fully furnished for them at Derek's request. MIT was scary, but at least he would have a nice place to live.
"How many mortgages do you think I would be able to pay off with all the library books in there that the library will never see again?" His Dad snarked from the kitchen doorway. He was holding a bowl of cereal in one hand, and leaning against the door jam with a huge smile on his face.
"Listen, my learning is very important!" Stiles chuckled for a moment, and then stopped short. His face became visibly distressed. "Dad..I'm going to miss you so much."
"I know Son, but you can come back whenever you want. This will always be your home."
And Stiles believed him.

Storytelling Set: Lot download
Lot Name: Storytelling Set Lot Type: Generic Lot Size: 50X40 Location: Built on Twin Oracle Point in Newcrest
I'm coming to you today with a special download. This lot is a labor of love that I'm excited to share with you all. It requires a bit of explanation, so please read this description!
I designed this lot to use as a catch-all for my story when I didn't want to create/download an entire lot for one scene. The buildings are mostly unfurnished, but there are 2 that are fully furnished: a generic office building and a hotel. There is a furnished rooftop bar and a party room in another building but the rest is up to you! The beauty of this lot is that it can be what you make it. One floor can be a salon, while another can be a daycare. The exterior can be one thing while the interior is another.
You can see how I've used this lot in this post (I added a deco building to the neighboring lot to add to the immersion). I've also used the basement area to plop down rooms from the gallery.
PACKS USED: High School Years, Cottage Living, Snowy Escape, Eco Lifestyle, Discover University, Island Living, Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, My Wedding Stories, Dream Home Decorator, Jungle Adventure, Parenthood, Dine Out, Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat, Moschino, Backyard, Perfect Patio, Kids Room, Luxury Party, Little Campers, Blooming Rooms, Industrial Loft, Courtyard Oasis, Desert Luxe
PLEASE NOTE this lot is CC Free but I used a lot of packs and many debug objects. If you are missing any packs that I have, the lot may look quite different. This was playtested, but please let me know if you have any issues.
Pics and download below!
DOWNLOAD: Sims File Share | Google Drive | Gallery: simstrashkingdom
TOU: Honestly, do whatever as long as you don't put it behind any paywall! Credit is appreciated. I would love to see what you've done so please tag me if you use this!

Creator’s Corner Lofts · 30x30 · Residential Rental · CC
Took a break from my continued work on the safe file project to bring you some artistic industrial lofts! Description and download below the cut.
After watching this couple from Salem, NY beautifully renovate an old garment factory on one of the new Magnolia Network shows, I had to try my hand at this style...
Once a crumbling factory, this historic brick building in the heart of San Myshuno’s Spice Market neighborhood has taken on a new life. Boasting 2 separate units (1 and 2 bedrooms with ensuite baths), this co-op is the perfect space for artists looking to live and work in one cohesive space. The first floor boasts a large shared art studio, including a kiln and personal storage. Residents also have access to the rooftop lounge space with a grill, hot tub, and stunning views of the bay.
Note: Shared spaces are fully furnished; units are unfurnished and ready for your personal touch. CC is included. Unfortunately the walk-in kiln is decorative only, but it sure was fun to make!
Packs used/recommended:

my bff, @superfreshcreativejuices, posted a couple of algorithmically derived images (blegh!), noting that they would be great tiny houses in ts4. the above is obviously not a tiny house, but even being conservative about the collective footprint, the one I chose to render came in at 102. so I gave up on trying to make it tiny and just tried to make it make sense (a too careful look at the images hurt my brain, so just take a glance, if you look at all).
if it weren't for the arches, it would be a nocc build, but alas...
update: lot has now been playtested and uploaded to the gallery.
ID: greighish Name: The Old Church Notes: Fully furnished; 20x20; 1bd/1ba; Requires: Lofte Living collection by @peacemaker-ic; cheat: bb.moveobjects on before placing lot.

Rusalem by AnnetStore
Welcome to the inaugural World Overview Wednesday, wherein I have a look at some of the nice, mostly old, and perhaps obscure worlds I have tucked away in a massive archive of them. My purpose is to give these worlds a little love, to give as much info about them as I can, and to give you a link to them, both to the original upload if it still works and to a re-upload in case the original vanishes into the ether. That way, you can download them if you want to. I have almost 900 worlds in said archive, so we could be here for the next 17 years. Literally. I did the math.
Anyway! My first victim is Rusalem by AnnetStore. I really like this world, though I've never played in it. Think "Jerusalem" without the "Je," and it really does look a lot like that part of the world. I mean, look at that thing! It's beautiful in its stark desert-ness. It's a big world, beautifully terrain-painted, decorated with a nod toward authenticity with date palms, olive, and cypress trees, fully built/furnished, has a distant terrain, and it's populated. It is what I think Al Simhara should have been, except that it'd need pyramids for that, I guess.
This world was uploaded to the Exchange in December of 2011, and you can download it here, in case you missed that the title of this post is also a link. :) And if you do not wish to deal with the Exchange and/or sims3packs and you don't feel like converting it yourself, I have also uploaded the .world file I made here. You just plop that in your install files in the folder at GameData > Shared > NonPackaged > Worlds. No need to screw around with the launcher.
But before you do all that...more pics and info behind the cut.
Aside from the fact that it's 2048x2048 and comes with 45 residents (which I'm assuming is correct; I certainly didn't count them), there is zero info about this world. That said, I am pretty certain that it needs all of the EPs that had been released when this world was made, which means up to Pets. I noticed objects from all of the EPs up to Generations, and the world does generate minor pets, which I think means that it needs Pets, too, but I'm not sure about that. I take pics of these worlds in a save that has no store content installed, and I have only the High End Loft stuff pack, and I didn't notice anything missing on any of the lots, so I think it only needs the EP stuff. It neither comes with nor requires CC.
This world has basement rabbitholes on all of the rabbithole lots. Of course you can edit them and use rugs instead if you don't like the basement rabbitholes thing.
The world has all spawners (other than the Island Paradise and Into the Future ones, of course), and they are placed in a well-distributed way throughout the world.
Older worlds sometimes have weird issues because, for instance, EA breaks shit with patches. While taking pics of this world, it ran for five simdays. During that time, I sent my sim all over the place and the pre-made population was running around, too. I noticed no weird issues (like sims walking on water), had no notifications about stuck sims (except for a wild horse once, but they always get stuck), and generally saw no issues or lag. So, I think this one's OK in an up-to-date game.
Now let's take a look at the lots and stuff.
This is the main area of the world. It's up on a rise, and it's where the majority of the rabbitholes are as well as a good number of residential lots, many of which are unoccupied so you can move in plenty of your own sims even if you keep the pre-made population. Here's the Edit Town view, so you can see what's what with that:
Now let's take a look at some of these individual lots. Can't look at all of them because we'd be here until next Wednesday, but some of them.
This is the science lot. The building is mostly empty, but it does have an inventing station, and though you can't see them in the pic there are also scrap piles to collect scrap from on the lot. If you've got an inventor sim, this is where they'll need to go to get scrap if you don't want them to buy it because there isn't a dedicated junkyard in the world. There are also harvestables on the lot so that science-career sims can work on their Gardening skill before or after work, if they don't have a home garden. I would add the science objects from University Life, too, because of course that EP didn't exist when this world was created.
This is the city hall, which is quite fancy outside but almost entirely empty inside. So, there's three stories of space to add stuff, if you want to.
This is the fire station, which is nice but, oddly, doesn't come with a fire truck, so you'll need to add one. Or two, since there's two parking spaces of appropriate size.
This is the ziggurat-like library, and this...
...is part of the town's big park (and there are numerous smaller ones scattered throughout the world). It is not a seasonal festival lot because Seasons didn't yet exist when this world was made, but it would be easy to make it so, if you wanted to. You can also see the lot at one end of this park, which is set up as a wedding venue, with the arch and guest seating on the rooftop and a buffet table, bars, and tables/chairs inside the building.
This is the house where I placed the sim that I move into these worlds when I'm taking pics of them:
I have to say, the residential lots in this world are quite cute and match the theme very well. They are also all different, ranging in size from small starters, to moderate family homes, to expensive villas, to one honest-to-pie palace. They are all fully, albeit usually basically, furnished. Here's the furnishing in one of the starter-priced homes, which is suitable for a family of four:
And here is one of the expensive villas:
And here's the freakin' palace, which has a curtain wall with four towers and comes with two sports cars:
It's occupied by one of the pre-made families, but if you want to have your sims live in it, just annihilate/evict them. :)
Here's Edit Town views of the other smaller neighborhoods in the world:
Here's one of them in regular gameplay:
Most of them have their own little park/playground for the kids, and the one that's fairly far from "downtown" has its own grocery store and diner.
Here's one of the moderate family homes in one of the smaller neighborhoods:
Many of the homes in the world have outdoor living spaces, both covered patios as well as rooftop space. This particular house has both.
Now, about the pre-made population...Ehhhhh, I don't think they fit very well for the theme. Here are two of them:
Me, I'd nuke them and make my own families that would fit the theme better. But, I guess that's up to the player
The only other thing that might be a problem with this world is that the creator of it is Russian, so unless your game is also in Russian, you'll have a lot of dialogues and lot names/addresses/descriptions and such that look like this:
It's easy to change sims' names with Master Controller, but I don't think it's possible to change lot addresses. So, there's that. But, it's pretty easy to figure out what's what.
And we'll finish off with some more scenery, including sunset pics plus a nighttime one of the "downtown" area.
