Mind went wandering a little bit thinking about the moment we're first shown Leola and my initial "aw little baby" reaction, but then I realized...she's gotta be about six months old here?

Six months is generally the peak of the babbly/grabby/interactive stage.

But also like. If he still has to cradle her like that because she's so little compared to him...I'm just here thinking about how absolutely tiny she must have been as a newborn 🥺

Went out with mum to go try out a newly opened restaurant at Sun Plaza. After dinner, we were on the way down to NTUC supermarket in the basement when we chanced upon McDonald’s Singapore new pineapple flavour soft serve. Mum said she wanted the ice cream so I queued for two of the Pineapple Cones (S$1.20 each). I love the tangy sweet flavour of real pineapple, not akin to the syrupy canned pineapple kind though mum doesn’t fancy it. I will be back for it before this limited item ends it run.

Still on the ice cream cone but this time it is Signature KingCone (魔天脆脆) from Chinese ice cream and tea chain Mixue (蜜雪冰城). I normally will not buy this dessert if the queue is too long but the S$1 soft serve cone with the extra crispy long waffle cone is pretty nice and yummy.

The last one is a free dessert I redeemed with my rewards card from Nine Fresh (九鲜). The Abundance Cup (金薯芋豆黑白配) is worth S$3.80 and comes with bean curd, grass jelly, red bean, sweet potato, yam and taro balls.

I actually really enjoy the fact that FCG seems to be straight up pissed at D for selling them to Dancer. It makes sense--from FCG's POV, D effectively sold him like a pile of scraps to Dancer, inadvertently placing FCG in a position where they had no concept of their own personhood, where they had no identity other than servitude. In the same way that FRIDA was angry with the gods for their awakening, FCG is angry with D. For bringing him back, but taking no responsibility for guiding him or teaching him or helping him in any meaningful way. How beneficial is it to fling a baby bird from its nest before it's even opened its eyes? Not very.

FCG choosing to reach out to Dancer instead of D? The safer option to them. Yeah, they should probably lay off of Dancer after everything that happened, yeah continuing to seek her forgiveness right now isn't really the move. But it is, perhaps, less fraught in FCG's eyes to approach Dancer and simultaneously more meaningful to them. D, to FCG, is just someone who could have brought them back (or had someone else awaken them if need be) and stick around to tell him what he is and why he was awakened. Who could have assured him of his personhood from the first. D did none of that. Dancer, alternatively, practically raised him, even if it was a deeply flawed relationship. Seeking that forgiveness and connection to her, no matter how misguided, makes a lot of sense

could you imagine how AWKWARD it would be. the passive-aggressiveness... the awkward silences… the drama… betting pool on how long before someone throws the turkey and starts a war (error and geno can be there too because it’s funny, error’s hoarding all the mashed potatoes like a cat and geno just wants to LEAVEE)

after tangchung travel the world then live together in both the tang sect and mount hua, i think they should also have a secret third place to live together when they feel like they want to get away from all the sect politics and jianghu drama, they have a cozy little cottage in the middle of no where, where they can just be a normal and domestic family in peace for a while..

no frantic sect members prostrating in from of them or enemies to be fought.. just lazy days sleeping in together.. cooking for each other instead of having food cooked for them, even though neither are particularly good at it.. tang bo growing gardens full of flowers and vegetables and fruits, with a small section dedicated to both medicinal and poisonous plants JUST IN CASE..! ..making friends with the folks in the nearby village separated from the martial arts world, and help them out with more physically taxing chores like cutting wood or tilling soil.. becoming the village grandpas who tired mothers can leave their children with, knowing they will keep them safe.. tang bo teaching the older folk basic medicine and how to identify which plants are and are not dangerous out in the wild, while chung myung teaches the scrappy street kids basic sword forms and meditation techniques
